

ಮಂಗಳೂರು, ಜು.22: ಕೋಣಾಜೆಯ ಪಿ.ಎ. ಪ್ರಥಮ ದರ್ಜೆ ಕಾಲೇಜಿನ ವತಿಯಿಂದ ಪ್ರಥಮ ವರ್ಷದ ಪದವಿ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳಿಗಾಗಿ ಓರಿಯೆಂಟೇಶನ್ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮ ಪೇಸ್ ನಾಲೆಡ್ಜ್ ಸಿಟಿಯ ಆಡಿಟೋರಿಯಂನಲ್ಲಿ ಬುಧವಾರ ನಡೆಯಿತು. ಪಿ.ಎ. ಇಂಜಿನಿಯರಿಂಗ್ ಕಾಲೇಜಿನ ಪ್ರಾಂಶುಪಾಲರಾದ ಡಾ. ರಮೀಝ್ ಎಂ.ಕೆ. ಮುಖ್ಯ ಅತಿಥಿಯಾಗಿ ಭಾಗವಹಿಸಿ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳನ್ನು ಉದ್ದೇಶಿಸಿ ಮಾತನಾಡಿದರು. ಕಾಲೇಜು ಜೀವನದಲ್ಲಿ ಅವಕಾಶಗಳನ್ನು ಸದುಪಯೋಗಪಡಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವಂತೆ ಹಾಗೂ ಉತ್ತಮ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಿತ್ವವನ್ನು ಬೆಳೆಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವಂತೆ ಕರೆ ನೀಡಿದರು. ಪಿ.ಎ. ಪ್ರಥಮ ದರ್ಜೆ ಕಾಲೇಜಿನ ಪ್ರಾಂಶುಪಾಲರಾದ ಡಾ. ಸರ್ಫ್ರಾಝ್ ಜೆ. ಹಾಸಿಂ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷತೆ ವಹಿಸಿದ್ದರು.
ಅಂತರರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೀಯ ಕೌಶಲ್ಯಾಭಿವೃದ್ಧಿ ನಿಗಮ, ಕೇರಳದ ಸಂಸ್ಥಾ ಸಹಭಾಗಿತ್ವ ವಿಭಾಗದ ಮುಖ್ಯಸ್ಥರಾದ ಶರತ್ ವೇಣುಗೋಪಾಲ್ ಹಾಗೂ ಐಎಸ್ಡಿಸಿ ಯುಕೆ ಪ್ರಾದೇಶಿಕ ವ್ಯವಸ್ಥಾಪಕರಾದ ನಂದಾದೇವಿ ಕೆ.ವಿ. ಗೌರವ ಅತಿಥಿಗಳಾಗಿ ಭಾಗವಹಿಸಿದ್ದರು. ಡಾ. ಸಲೀಮುಲ್ಲಾ ಖಾನ್, ಡಾ. ಅಫೀಫಾ ಸಲೀಮ್, ಡಾ. ಸಯ್ಯಿದ್ ಅಮೀನ್ ಅಹ್ಮದ್, ಮುಹಮ್ಮದ್ ಫೈಝಲ್ ಎನ್., ಡಾ. ಇಕ್ಬಾಲ್, ಪ್ರೊ. ಇಸ್ಮಾಈಲ್ ಖಾನ್, ಶರಫುದ್ದೀನ್ ಪಿ.ಕೆ., ಹಾರೀಸ್ ಟಿ.ಡಿ., ಶಫಿನಾಝ್ ಸಯ್ಯಿದ್ ಇಸ್ಮಾಈಲ್ ಮೊದಲಾದವರು ಉಪಸ್ಥಿತರಿದ್ದರು.

Konaje; Orientation program at P.A. First Grade College

P.A. First Grade College organized the Orientation Programme for the academic year 2026–27 on 22 July 202, at 9:15 a.m. in the PACE Auditorium* to welcome the first-year undergraduate students and their parents.
The programme commenced with a prayer rendered by Mr. Nazim Ahmed, Assistant Professor, Department of Business Administration.
The gathering was warmly welcomed by *Dr. G. Harikrishnan, Vice Principal*, who extended a cordial welcome to the dignitaries, students, parents, and faculty members. The distinguished guests were welcomed with saplings. The inauguration of the new academic year was marked by the ceremonial watering of a plant, symbolizing growth, knowledge, and new beginnings.
The *Chief Guest, Dr. Rameez M. K., Principal of P.A. Engineering College*, addressed the gathering and encouraged the students to make the best use of the opportunities available during their college life. He emphasized the importance of developing a positive personality, acquiring knowledge, and building the skills necessary for a successful future.
The programme also featured insightful addresses by *Mr. Sharath Venugopal, Head of Institutional Partnerships, International Skill Development Corporation (ISDC), Kerala*, and *Ms. Nandadevi K. V., UK Regional Manager, ISDC*. They motivated the students to embrace learning opportunities and wished them success in their new academic journey.
In his presidential address, *Dr. Surfraz J. Hasim, Principal, P.A. First Grade College*, inspired the students to remain focused on their career goals, make the most of the resources available on campus, and strive for academic excellence while upholding discipline and values.
*Dr. Sayyad Ameen Ahammad, Dean of Student Affairs*, briefed the students on the campus facilities, code of conduct, and institutional rules and regulations, encouraging them to maintain discipline and actively participate in academic and co-curricular activities.
The Principal, *Dr. Surfraz J. Hasim*, felicitated the Chief Guest and the Guests of Honour in recognition of their valuable presence and contributions.
As part of the programme, all the class guides and mentors were introduced to the students and their parents, enabling them to become familiar with the faculty members who will guide them throughout their academic journey.
The programme concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks proposed by *Ms. Muneera A., Head, Department of English*, who expressed gratitude to the dignitaries, faculty members, students, parents, organizers, and everyone who contributed to the success of the event.
