ಬೆಂಗಳೂರಿನ ಲಾಲ್ಬಾಗ್ ರಸ್ತೆಯಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಪ್ರತಿಷ್ಠಿತ ಸಂತ ಜೋಸೆಫರ ವಿಶ್ವವಿದ್ಯಾಲಯವು ತನ್ನ ವಾರ್ಷಿಕ ಶೈಕ್ಷಣಿಕ ಪ್ರದರ್ಶನವಾದ ‘ಓಪನ್ ಡೇ 2026’ ((Open Day-2026) ಅನ್ನು ಜುಲೈ 27, ಸೋಮವಾರ 2026 ರಂದು ಬೆಳಿಗ್ಗೆ 8:00 ರಿಂದ ಸಂಜೆ 4:00 ರವರೆಗೆ ಆಯೋಜಿಸಿದೆ. ಮುಂಬರುವ ವರ್ಷಗಳಲ್ಲ್ಲಿ ಈ ವಿಶ್ವವಿದ್ಯಾಲಯವನ್ನು ಪ್ರವೇಶಿಸಲು ಬಯಸುವ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು, ಅವರ ಪೋಷಕರು ಹಾಗೂ ಸಾರ್ವಜನಿಕರಿಗೆ ವಿಶ್ವವಿದ್ಯಾಲಯದ ಶೈಕ್ಷಣಿಕ ಕೊಡುಗೆಗಳು, ಸಂಶೋಧನೆ ಮತ್ತು ಕ್ಯಾಂಪಸ್ ಜೀವನವನ್ನು ಪರಿಚಯಿಸುವ ಉದ್ದೇಶದಿಂದ ಈ ಬೃಹತ್ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮವನ್ನು ಹಮ್ಮಿಕೊಳ್ಳಲಾಗಿದೆ. ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ, ಶಾಲೆಗಳು, ಕಾಲೇಜುಗಳು, ಶಿಕ್ಷಣ ತಜ್ಞರು ಮತ್ತು ಕೈಗಾರಿಕಾ ವಲಯದ ನಾಯಕರನ್ನು ಒಂದೇ ವೇದಿಕೆಯಡಿ ತರುವ ಮೂಲಕ ಶೈಕ್ಷಣಿಕ ಹಾಗೂ ಉದ್ಯಮ ವಲಯದ ನಡುವೆ ಮಹತ್ವದ ಸಂವಾದವನ್ನು ಬೆಳೆಸುವ ವಿಶಿಷ್ಟ ಸಹಯೋಗದ ವೇದಿಕೆಯಾಗಿ ಈ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮ ರೂಪುಗೊಳ್ಳಲಿದೆ.
ಈ ಬಾರಿಯ ’ಓಪನ್ ಡೇ 2026’ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರಾಂಶುಪಾಲರ ಸಮಾವೇಶ (Principal conclave), ಟೆಡ್ಎಕ್ಸ್ (TEDx) ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿ ಭಾಷಣಗಳು, ಪ್ರೌಢಶಾಲಾ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳ ವಸ್ತುಪ್ರದರ್ಶನ ಮತ್ತು ಮೌಲ್ಯಮಾಪನ, ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿ ಸಂಸದೀಯ ಅಧಿವೇಶನ, ಬಹುಮಾನ ವಿತರಣೆ ಮತ್ತು ಸಮಾರೋಪ ಸಮಾರಂಭಗಳು ಪ್ರಮುಖ ಆಕರ್ಷಣೆಯಾಗಿರಲಿವೆ.

Bengaluru; St Joseph’s University to Host ‘Open Day 2026’ on July 27
Bengaluru, July 25: St Joseph’s University, located on Lalbagh Road, Bengaluru, will host its annual academic showcase, ‘Open Day 2026’, on Monday, July 27, 2026, from 8.00 a.m. to 4.00 p.m.
The event is designed to introduce prospective students, parents and the general public to the University’s academic programmes, research initiatives and vibrant campus life. It also aims to serve as a collaborative platform bringing together schools, colleges, educationists and industry leaders to promote meaningful interaction between academia and industry.
The highlights of Open Day 2026 include the Principal Conclave, TEDx student talks, an exhibition and evaluation of projects by high school students, a Student Parliamentary Session, and the prize distribution and valedictory ceremony.
Visitors will have the opportunity to gain first-hand insights into the University’s academic and co-curricular ecosystem while interacting with faculty members, students and representatives from various industries.
