ಮಂಗಳೂರು: ಸಂತ ಅಲೋಶಿಯಸ್ ಗೊನ್ಝಾಗ ಶಾಲೆಯ 7ನೇ ತರಗತಿಯ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿನಿ ಏಂಜಲೀನಾ ಕ್ರಿಸ್ಟಿ ಪ್ರದೀಪ್ ಅವರು ಉಡುಪಿಯ ಎಂ.ಜಿ.ಎಂ ಕಾಲೇಜಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಅಕ್ಟೋಬರ್ 2 ರಂದು ನಡೆದ ಶೈನ್ ಓಪನ್ ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೀಯ ಟೇಬಲ್ ಟೆನಿಸ್ ಪಂದ್ಯಾಟದಲ್ಲಿ  13 ವರ್ಷದೊಳಗಿನ ವಿಭಾಗದಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರಥಮ ಸ್ಥಾನ ಪಡೆದು

  ಚಿನ್ನದ ಪದಕವನ್ನು  ಗೆದ್ದಿದ್ದಾರೆ. 17 ವರ್ಷದೊಳಗಿನ ವಿಭಾಗದಲ್ಲಿ ತೃತೀಯ ಸ್ಥಾನ ಪಡೆದು ಕಂಚಿನ ಪದಕವನ್ನು ತಮ್ಮದಾಗಿಸಿಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ.

ಏಂಜಲೀನಾ ಕ್ರಿಸ್ಟಿ ಪ್ರದೀಪ್ ಅವರ ಈ ಅದ್ಭುತ ಸಾಧನೆಗೆ ಶಾಲೆಯ ಆಡಳಿತ ಮಂಡಳಿ, ಪ್ರಾಂಶುಪಾಲರಾದ  ವಂ.ಫಾ. ರೋಹನ್ ಡಿ ಅಲ್ಮೇಡಾ ಎಸ್.ಜೆ ಶ್ಲಾಘಿಸಿದರು . ಉಪ ಪ್ರಾಂಶುಪಾಲರಾದ ಲಾರೆಲ್ ಡಿ’ ಸೋಜಾ ಅಪರ್ಣಾ ಸುರೇಶ್ ಶಿಕ್ಷಕರು ಹಾಗೂ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ಅಭಿನಂದನೆ ಸಲ್ಲಿಸಿ, ಮುಂದಿನ ಕ್ರೀಡಾ ಸಾಧನೆಗಳಿಗೆ ಶುಭ ಹಾರೈಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ.

Mangaluru: Angelina Christy Pradeep of Class VII, St Aloysius Gonzaga School, Mangaluru, brought laurels to the school with an impressive performance at the Shine Open National Table Tennis Tournament held at MGM College, Udupi, on October 2 and 3, 2026.

Competing in the Under-13 category, Angelina secured the first place, showcasing her skill and determination. She also secured the third place in the Under-17 category, competing against players in a higher age group.

The Principal, Rev. Fr Rohan D’Almeida SJ, Vice-Principals Ms Laurel D’Souza and Ms Aparna Suresh, along with the staff and students, congratulated Angelina and wished her greater laurels in the future.
