ಮಂಗಳೂರು ; ಫುಡಾರ್ ಪ್ರತಿಷ್ಠಾನ್ (ರಿ.) ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಯ ನೇತ್ರತ್ವದಲ್ಲಿ ಕಳೆದ 20 ರ್ಷಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಕಥೋಲಿಕ ಕ್ರೆöÊಸ್ಥ ಸಮುದಾಯಕ್ಕೆ ಸೇರಿದ ಮಂಗಳೂರು ಹಾಗೂ ಉಡುಪಿ ಧರ್ಮಪ್ರಾಂತ್ಯದ 3,000 ಕ್ಕೂ ಹೆಚ್ಚು ಶೈಕ್ಷಣಿಕ ಸಾಧಕರನ್ನು ಹಾಗೂ ಕಳೆದ 2 ರ್ಷಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ರಾಜ್ಯ, ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರ, ಅಂತರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೀಯ ಮಟ್ಟದಲ್ಲಿ ಸಾಧನೆಗೈದ ಕ್ರೀಡಾಪಟುಗಳ ಸನ್ಮಾನ ಕರ್ಯಕ್ರಮ ನೆರವೇರಿಸಿದೆ. ಈ ಬಾರಿ ಮಂಗಳೂರಿನ ಎಮ್.ಸಿ.ಸಿ ಬ್ಯಾಂಕ್ ಪ್ರಾಯೋಜಕತ್ವದಲ್ಲಿ, ಮತ್ತೊಂದು ಹೊಸ ಮೈಲುಗಲ್ಲಾಗಿ ಕ್ರೀಡೆ, ಕಲೆ ಹಾಗೂ ಇತರೆ ಕ್ಶೇತ್ರಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಸಾಧನೆಗೈದ 65 ವಿಶೇಷ ಸಾಧಕರನ್ನು ಗುರುತಿಸಿ ಪ್ರತ್ಯೇಕವಾಗಿ ಅಭಿನಂದನಾ ಕರ್ಯಕ್ರಮವನ್ನು ಮರ್ಚ್ 21 ರಂದು ಮಂಗಳೂರಿನ ಎಮ್.ಸಿ.ಸಿ ಬ್ಯಾಂಕ್ ಸಭಾಂಗಣದಲ್ಲಿ ಆಯೋಜಿಸಲಾಯಿತು.
ಎಮ್.ಸಿ.ಸಿ ಬ್ಯಾಂಕಿನ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಶರಾಗಿರುವ ಸಹಕಾರ ರತ್ನ ಅನಿಲ್ ಲೋಬೊರವರು ದೀಪ ಬೆಳಗಿಸುವ ಮೂಲಕ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮ ಉದ್ಘಾಟಿಸಿದರು. ಫುಡಾರ್ ಪ್ರತಿಷ್ಠಾನ್ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಯ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷರಾಗಿರುವ ನೈಜಿಲ್ ಪಿರೇರಾರವರು ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷತೆ ವಹಿಸಿದ್ದರು. ದಕ್ಷಿಣ ಕನ್ನಡ ಪ್ರಧಾನ ಜಿಲ್ಲಾ ರ್ಕಾರಿ ಪ್ಲೀಡರ್ ಆಗಿರುವ ನ್ಯಾಯವಾದಿ ಎಮ್.ಪಿ ನೊರೊನ್ಹಾ ರವರು ಮುಖ್ಯ ಅತಿಥಿಗಳಾಗಿದ್ದರು. ಕಥೋಲಿಕ್ ಸಭಾ ಮಂಗಳೂರು ಪ್ರದೇಶದ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷರಾಗಿರುವ ಸಂತೋಷ್ ಡಿಸೋಜ ಹಾಗೂ ಉಡುಪಿ ಪ್ರದೇಶದ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷರಾಗಿರುವ ರೊನಾಲ್ಡ್ ಅಲ್ಮೇಡಾ, ಫುಡಾರ್ ಪ್ರತಿಷ್ಠಾನ್ ಕಾರ್ಯದರ್ಶಿ ವಿವಿಡ್ ಡಿಸೋಜಾ, ನಿರ್ದೇಶಕರುಗಳಾದ ರೋರ್ಟ್ ಮಿನೇಜಸ್, ರ್ನಾಟಕ ಕೊಂಕಣಿ ಸಾಹಿತ್ಯ ಅಕಾಡೆಮಿ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಶರಾಗಿರುವ ಸ್ಟ್ಯಾನಿ ಅಲ್ವಾರಿಸ್, ಸಾಹಿತಿ ಹಾಗೂ ಪತ್ರರ್ತ ಕೇಂದ್ರ ಸಾಹಿತ್ಯ ಅಕಾಡೆಮಿ ಪ್ರಶಸ್ತಿ ವಿಜೇತ ಎಚ್. ಎಮ್ ಪರ್ನಾಲ್ ಹಾಗೂ ಜನಪ್ರಿಯ ಕೊಂಕಣಿ ಗಾಯಕರಾಗಿರುವ ವಿನ್ಸೆಂಟ್ ಫರ್ನಾಂಡಿಸ್ ರವರು ಉಪಸ್ಥಿತರಿದ್ದರು.
ಅನಿಲ್ ಲೋಬೊರವರು ತಮ್ಮ ಉದ್ಘಾಟನಾ ಭಾಷಣದಲ್ಲಿ ಮಾತನಾಡುತ್ತಾ ಸನ್ಮಾನ ಸ್ವೀಕರಿಸಿದ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳಿಗೂ ಮತ್ತು ಅವರ ಹೆತ್ತವರಿಗೂ ಅಭಿನಂದಿಸಿದರು. ಯುವಜನರು ಸ್ವದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿಯೇ ಇದ್ದು ವಿವಿಧ ಕ್ಶೇತ್ರಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ವ್ರತ್ತಿಜೀವನವನ್ನು ಆಯ್ಕೆ ಮಾಡಿ, ಈ ಸಮಾಜಕ್ಕೆ ನಿಮ್ಮ ಕೊಡುಗೆಯನ್ನು ನೀಡುವಂತಾಗಲಿ ಎಂದು ಕಿವಿ ಮಾತು ನುಡಿದರು. ವಿಶೇಷ ಸಾಧನೆ ಮಾಡಿದ ನಿಮ್ಮನ್ನೆಲ್ಲಾ ಪ್ರತ್ಯೇಕವಾಗಿ ಗುರುತಿಸಿ ನಿಮ್ಮ ಸಾಧನೆ ಬೇರೆಯವರಿಗೂ ಪ್ರೇರಣೆಯಾಗಲಿ ಎನ್ನುವ ಉದ್ದೇಶದಿಂದ ಎಮ್.ಸಿ.ಸಿ ಬ್ಯಾಂಕ್ ಈ ಕರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದಲ್ಲಿ ಫುಡಾರ್ ಪ್ರತಿಶ್ಟಾನ್ ಜೊತೆ ಕೈ ಜೋಡಿಸಿದೆ ಎಂದು ರ್ಷ ವ್ಯಕ್ತ ಪಡಿಸಿದರು.
ಮುಖ್ಯ ಅತಿಥಿಗಳಾದ ಎಮ್.ಪಿ ನೊರೊನ್ಹಾ ರವರು ರವರು ತಮ್ಮ ದಿಕ್ಸೂಚಿ ಭಾಷಣದಲ್ಲಿ ಮಾತನಾಡುತ್ತಾ ಮಾನವೀಯ ಮೌಲ್ಯಗಳು ಅಳವಡಿಕೊಂಡು ಸಮಾಜದ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಜನಸಾಮಾನ್ಯರ ಒಳಿತನ್ನು ಬಯಸುವುದಕ್ಕಿಂತ ದೊಡ್ಡ ಸಾಧನೆ ಬೇರೊಂದಿಲ್ಲ. ನಿಮ್ಮ ಹ್ರದಯ ಶ್ರೀಮಂತಿಕೆಯಿಂದ ಇತರರ ಸೇವೆ ಮಾಡಲು ನಿಮ್ಮ ಸಾಧನೆಯು ಮೆಟ್ಟಿಲಾಗಲಿ ಎಂದು ಶುಭ ಹಾರೈಸಿದರು. ಇಂತಹ ಒಂದು ಸುಂದರವಾದ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮವನ್ನು ಹಮ್ಮಿಕೊಂಡು ಪ್ರತಿಭಾನ್ವಿತರನ್ನು ಸನ್ಮಾನಿಸಿದ ಫುಡಾರ್ ಪ್ರತಿಷ್ಠಾನ್ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆ ಹಾಗೂ ಎಮ್.ಸಿ.ಸಿ ಬ್ಯಾಂಕ್ ಆಡಳಿತ ಮಂಡಳಿಯನ್ನು ಪ್ರಶಂಸಿಸಿದರು.
ಪುರಸ್ಕçತರ ಪರವಾಗಿ ರೂಬೆನ್ ಮಚಾದೊ. ರೋಶ್ವಿತ ಡಿಸೋಜ ಹಾಗೂ ವಿನಿತಾ ಡೆಸ್ಸಾ ತಮ್ಮ ಯಶಸ್ಸಿನ ಕತೆಯನ್ನು ಹಂಚಿಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತಾ, ಸನ್ಮಾನ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮ ಆಯೋಜಿಸಿದ ಫುಡಾರ್ ಪ್ರತಿಷ್ಠಾನ್ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಯನ್ನು ವಂದಿಸಿದರು.
ಸನ್ಮಾನ ಕರ್ಯಕ್ರಮ ಯಶಸ್ವಿಗೊಳಿಸಲು ಉದಾರ ಮನಸ್ಸಿನ ಧನ ಸಹಾಯ ನೀಡಿದ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ದಾನಿಗಳನ್ನು, ಕಥೋಲಿಕ್ ಸಭಾ ಮಂಗಳೂರು ಪ್ರದೇಶ, ಉಡುಪಿ ಪ್ರದೇಶ ಹಾಗೂ ಹಾಗೂ ಫುಡಾರ್ ಪ್ರತಿಷ್ಠಾನ್ (ರಿ.) ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಯ ಆಡಳಿತ ಮಂಡಳಿಯ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಸದಸ್ಯರ ಸಹಕಾರವನ್ನು ಸ್ಮರಿಸಿ, ಸ್ಮರಣಿಕೆ ನೀಡಿ ಗೌರವಿಸಲಾಯಿತು. ನರ್ಬರ್ಟ್ ಮಿಸ್ಕಿತ್ ಹಾಗೂ ಐಡಾ ಫರ್ಟಾಡೊ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮ ನಿರೂಪಿಸಿದರು. ಫುಡಾರ್ ಪ್ರತಿಷ್ಠಾನ್ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಶರಾಗಿರುವ ನೈಜಿಲ್ ಪಿರೇರಾ ರವರು ಸ್ವಾಗತ ಕೋರಿದರು. ಕಾರ್ಯದರ್ಶಿ ವಿವಿಡ್ ಡಿಸೋಜರವರು ಧನ್ಯವಾದ ಸರ್ಪಣೆ ಮಾಡಿದರು. ನೆರೆದ ಎಲ್ಲರಿಗೂ ಭೋಜನದ ವ್ಯವಸ್ಥೆಯನ್ನು ಮಾಡಲಾಗಿತ್ತು.
Food Foundation and MCC Bank felicitate 65 special achievers
Mangalore; For the last 20 years Fuddar Prathisttan has felicitated over 3000 academic achievers from the catholic community and for the last two years sports achievers at the international, national and state level were also added to the list. This year as another milestone, Fuddar Prathisttan (R.) under the aegis of MCC bank Mnaglore, for the first time recognized and felicitated 65 special achievers in sports, literary arts, performing arts and PhD awardees, to give special recognition to the top achievers of our community on a separate platform.
Sahakaari Rathna Mr Anil Lobo, Chairman of MCC Bank inaugurated the programme by lighting the lamp. Nigel Pereira, president of Fuddar Prathisttan presided over the programme. Chief Guest and keynote speaker, advocate M P Noronha, Principal district government pleader of Dakshina Kannada, Catholic sabha Mangalore Pradesh and Udupi Pradesh presidents Santhosh DSouza and Ronald D’almeida, Secretary Vivid DSouza and management committee member Robert Menezes, President of Karnataka Konkani sahithya academy Stany Alvares, renowned writer and journalist H M Pernal ad well known Konkani Singer Vincent Fernandes were present.
Anil Lobo in his inaugural address congratulated all the awardees and their parents on receiving the recognition. He urged the awardees to stay in the country and stay connected with their families; live a value based life and serve the society in all possible ways. For the first time Fuddar prathistaan has come up with a thought of separately honouring the special achievers in various fields and MCC bank supports recognizing these special talents who have brought laurels to our community, he added.
M P Noronha, in his keynote address, congratulated Fuddar Prathistan Trust for organizing a beautiful programme to felicitate the achievers and for motivating them. In his keynote address he emphasized on the need of choosing a career through which you remain grounded and connected to your roots and that will help you to serve the mankind. Its not the achievements or medals that will make you valuable but the empathy and richness of heart will make the place around you beautiful for which the present generation must focus on, he added.
On behalf of the felicitated students Reuban Machado, Roshvitha DSa and Vinitha DSouza shared their success story and expressed their gratitude to the organizers of the felicitation programme.
The management committee members and donors who supported generously for the success of the event were honored. The support and suggestions of Catholic Sabha Mangalore Pradesh and Udupi Pradesh were greatly acknowledged. Nigel Pereira, president of Fuddar Prathisttan welcomed the gathering. Vivid DSouza, the secretary rendered the vote of thanks. Norbert Misquith and Ida Furtado compered the event. The programme concluded with fellowship meal.
