ದಿನಾಂಕ 11.02.2026 ರಂದು ತಲ್ಲೂರು ಸಂತ ಫ್ರಾನ್ಸಿಸ್ ಆಸ್ಸಿಸಿ ಚರ್ಚಿನಲ್ಲಿ ರೋಗಿಗಳ ಪಾಲಕಿಯಾದ ಲೂರ್ದ ಮಾತೆಯ ಹಬ್ಬವನ್ನು ಆರೋಗ್ಯ ಆಯೋಗದ ನೇತೃತ್ವದಲ್ಲಿ ಭಕ್ತಿಭಾವದಿಂದ ಆಚರಿಸಲಾಯಿತು.
ಸಂಜೆ ಜಪಮಾಲೆ ಪ್ರಾರ್ಥನೆಯೊಂದಿಗೆ ವಿಧಿಯನ್ನು ಆರಂಭಿಸಲಾಯಿತು. ಸಂತ ಫಿಲಿಪ್ ನೇರಿ ಆಂಗ್ಲ ಮಾಧ್ಯಮ ಶಾಲೆಯ ಪ್ರಾಂಶುಪಾಲರಾದ ವಂ। ಫಾ. ಡ್ಯಾನ್ಸಿ ಡಿಸೋಜರವರು ಪ್ರಧಾನ ಗುರುಗಳಾಗಿ ಆಗಮಿಸಿ ದಿವ್ಯ ಬಲಿ ಪೂಜೆಯನ್ನು ನೆರವೇರಿಸಿದರು. ತಮ್ಮ ಪ್ರವಚನದಲ್ಲಿ ಅವರು, ಲೂರ್ದ ಮಾತೆಯ ಹಬ್ಬವನ್ನು ಆಚರಿಸುವುದರಿಂದ ದೇವರ ಮೇಲಿನ ನಮ್ಮ ಭರವಸೆ ಮತ್ತು ನಂಬಿಕೆ ದೃಢವಾಗುತ್ತದೆ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದರು. ರೋಗಿಗಳಿಗೆ ನೆಮ್ಮದಿ ದೊರಕುತ್ತದೆ ಎಂದರು. ಮೇರಿ ಮಾತೆ ಜಪಮಾಲೆ ಪ್ರಾರ್ಥನೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಭಕ್ತಿ ಇಡಲು, ವಿಧೇಯತೆಯಿಂದ ಜೀವನ ನಡೆಸಲು, ನೆರೆಹೊರೆಯವರು ಮತ್ತು ಕುಟುಂಬದವರೊಂದಿಗೆ ಪ್ರೀತಿಯಿಂದ ಇರಲು ಹಾಗೂ ಜೀವನ ಪರಿವರ್ತನೆಗೆ ಕರೆ ನೀಡುತ್ತಾಳೆ’ ಎಂದು ತಿಳಿಸಿ ನಿರಂತರ ಜಪಮಾಲೆ ಪ್ರರ್ಥನೆ ಮಾಡುವುದರಿಂದ ನಮ್ಮ ಕಾಯಿಲೆಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ದರ್ಬಲ್ಯಗಳನ್ನು ಮಾತೆ ನಿವಾರಿಸುತ್ತಾಳೆ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದರು. ಸಾಸಿವೆ ಕಾಳಿನಷ್ಟು ಭಕ್ತಿ ನಮ್ಮಲ್ಲಿ ಇದ್ದರೆ ಖಂಡಿತವಾಗಿಯೂ ಆಕೆ ಅದ್ಭುತಗಳನ್ನು ಮಾಡುತ್ತಾಳೆ ಎಂದರು. ಇದಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ನಿರಂತರ ಜಪಮಾಲೆ ಪ್ರರ್ಥನೆ, ಪಾಪವಿಮೋಚನೆ, ಕಷ್ಟಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ಕಾಯಿಲೆಗಳು ಬಂದಾಗ ಕಂಗೆಡದೆ ದೇವರ ಬಳಿ ಪ್ರರ್ಥಿಸುವುದು ಮುಂತಾದ ಭಕ್ತಿ ಮರ್ಗಗಳನ್ನು ಜೀವನದಲ್ಲಿ ಅಳವಡಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳಬೇಕು ಎಂದು ಸಂದೇಶ ನೀಡಿದರು. ಎಲ್ಲರೂ ಒಬ್ಬರನ್ನೊಬ್ಬರು ಪ್ರೀತಿಸಬೇಕು ಎಂದೂ ತಿಳಿಸಿದರು.. ಚರ್ಚಿನ ಧರ್ಮಗುರುಗಳಾದ ವಂ। ಎಡ್ವಿನ್ ಡಿಸೋಜರವರು ಸಹಕರಿಸಿದರು
ದಿವ್ಯ ಬಲಿ ಪೂಜೆಯ ಪ್ರಾರ್ಥನಾ ವಿಧಿಗಳನ್ನು ಆರೋಗ್ಯ ಆಯೋಗದ ಸದಸ್ಯರು ನೆರವೇರಿಸಿದರು. ಬಲಿ ಪೂಜೆಯ ನಂತರ ಲೂರ್ದ ಮಾತೆಯ ಪ್ರತಿಮೆಯನ್ನು ಮೇಣದಬತ್ತಿಯ ಮೆರವಣಿಗೆಯೊಂದಿಗೆ ಗೌರವದಿಂದ ಚರ್ಚಿನ ಒಳಗೆ ತಂದು, ಧರ್ಮಗುರುಗಳು ಭಕ್ತಾಧಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಪವಿತ್ರ ತೈಲ ಹಚ್ಚಿಒಳ್ಳೆಯ ಆರೋಗ್ಯಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಪ್ರಾರ್ಥಿಸಿದರು. ಹೆಚ್ಚಿನ ಸಂಖ್ಯೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಭಾಗವಹಿಸಿ ಆಶಿರ್ವಾದ ಪಡೆದರು.

On 11.02.2026, the Feast of Our Lady of Lourdes, Patroness of the Sick, was celebrated devoutly under the leadership of the Health Commission at St. Francis Assisi Church, Tallur.
The celebration began at 5:30 p.m. with the Rosary prayer. At 6:00 p.m., Rev. Fr. Dancy Martis OFM Cap, Principal of St. Philip Neri English Medium School, was the main celebrant and offered the Holy Mass. He was assisted by the Parish Priest, Rev. Fr. Edwin D’Souza.
In his homily, the main celebrant said that celebrating the Feast of Our Lady of Lourdes strengthens our faith and trust in God and brings comfort to the sick. He emphasized that Mother Mary calls us to be devoted in praying the Rosary, to live obediently, to love our neighbours and family members, and to undergo a transformation in life.
He further stated that through continuous Rosary prayer, Mother Mary heals our illnesses and weaknesses. If we have faith even as small as a mustard seed, she will surely perform miracles. He encouraged the faithful to adopt devotional practices in their lives such as regular Rosary prayer, repentance, and turning to God in prayer during difficulties and sickness without losing hope. He also reminded everyone to love one another.
The prayer services during the Holy Mass were conducted by the members of the Health Commission. After the Mass, the statue of Our Lady of Lourdes was brought into the church with a candlelight procession. The priests anointed all the faithful present with holy oil. More than 200 devotees participated in the celebration and received God’s blessings.
