The annual grand festival of Infant Mary Church in Bajjodi is celebrated with great devotion
ಫೆಬ್ರವರಿ 8 ರ ಭಾನುವಾರದಂದು ಬಜ್ಜೋಡಿಯ ಬಾಲೆ ಮೇರಿ ಚರ್ಚ್ನ ಪ್ಯಾರಿಷ್ ಹಬ್ಬವನ್ನು ಅತ್ಯಂತ ಶ್ರದ್ಧಾಪೂರ್ವಕವಾಗಿ ಆಚರಿಸಲಾಯಿತು. ಬೆಳಿಗ್ಗೆ 9.30 ಕ್ಕೆ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಜನರು OSS ಕಾನ್ವೆಂಟ್ನಲ್ಲಿ ಒಟ್ಟುಗೂಡಿದರು. ಇನ್ಫೆಂಟ್ ಮೇರಿಯ ಪ್ರತಿಮೆಯನ್ನು ಆಶೀರ್ವದಿಸಿ ಸಣ್ಣ ಪ್ರಾರ್ಥನಾ ಸೇವೆಯನ್ನು ನಡೆಸಲಾಯಿತು. ನಂತರ ಬ್ಯಾಂಡ್ನೊಂದಿಗೆ ಚರ್ಚ್ಗೆ ಭವ್ಯ ಮೆರವಣಿಗೆಯನ್ನು ಕರೆದೊಯ್ಯಲಾಯಿತು.
ಚರ್ಚ್ನಲ್ಲಿ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ದಾನಿಗಳನ್ನು ಆಶೀರ್ವದಿಸಲಾದ ಮೇಣದಬತ್ತಿಗಳಿಂದ ಸನ್ಮಾನಿಸಲಾಯಿತು. ಬೆಳಿಗ್ಗೆ 10.00 ಗಂಟೆಗೆ ಡಯೋಸಿಸನ್ ಕ್ಯಾಥೋಲಿಕ್ ಶಿಕ್ಷಣ ಮಂಡಳಿಯ ಕಾರ್ಯದರ್ಶಿ ರೆವರೆಂಡ್ ಡಾ. ಪ್ರವೀಣ್ ಲಿಯೋ ಲಸ್ರಾದೊ ಮುಖ್ಯ ಆಚರಣೆಯೊಂದಿಗೆ ಗಂಭೀರವಾದ ಯೂಕರಿಸ್ಟಿಕ್ ಆಚರಣೆಯನ್ನು ನಡೆಸಲಾಯಿತು.
ಪೋಷಕರು ತಮ್ಮ ಮಕ್ಕಳಿಗೆ ಹೇಗೆ ಶಿಕ್ಷಣ ನೀಡಬೇಕು ಮತ್ತು ಬೆಳೆಸಬೇಕು ಎಂಬುದನ್ನು ಅವರು ತಮ್ಮ ಧರ್ಮೋಪದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿ ವಿವರಿಸಿದರು. ನಾವು ಅವರನ್ನು ಪ್ರೀತಿಸಬೇಕು ಆದರೆ ಅವರನ್ನು ಮುದ್ದಿಸಬಾರದು. ಅಗತ್ಯವಿದ್ದಾಗ ನಾವು ಅವರನ್ನು ಸರಿಪಡಿಸಬೇಕು. ಪ್ರೀತಿಯಿಂದ. ಮತ್ತೊಂದೆಡೆ, ಮಕ್ಕಳು ತಮ್ಮ ಹೆತ್ತವರನ್ನು ಗೌರವಿಸಬೇಕು ಮತ್ತು ಪಾಲಿಸಬೇಕು. ಅವರು ತಮ್ಮ ವೃದ್ಧಾಪ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಅವರನ್ನು ನೋಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳಬೇಕು. ಅವರು ಹಾಗೆ ಮಾಡಿದರೆ, ಅವರು ಭಗವಂತನಿಂದ ಹೇರಳವಾದ ಅನುಗ್ರಹ ಮತ್ತು ಆಶೀರ್ವಾದಗಳನ್ನು ಪಡೆಯುತ್ತಾರೆ” ಎಂದು ರೆವರೆಂಡ್ ಡಾ. ಪ್ರವೀಣ್ ಲಿಯೋ ಲಸ್ರಾದೊ ಸಂದೇಶ ನೀಡಿದರು.
20 ಧರ್ಮಗುರುಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ಅಪಾರ ಭಕ್ತಾದಿ ಕೊನೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಹಬ್ಬದ ಆಚರಣೆಗೆ ಆಚರಣೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಭಾಗವಹಿಸಿದರು ಕೊಡುಗೆ ನೀಡಿದವರನ್ನು ಸನ್ಮಾನಿಸಲಾಯಿತು.
ಪವಿತ್ರ ಯೂಕರಿಸ್ಟ್ ನಂತರ ವಿವಿಧ ಮಳಿಗೆಗಳು, ಆಟಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ಆಹಾರ ಪದಾರ್ಥಗಳೊಂದಿಗೆ ಫೆನ್ಸಿ ಉತ್ಸವ ನಡೆಯಿತು.
ಸಂಜೆ ಎಂಸಿಸಿ ಬ್ಯಾಂಕಿನ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷರಾದ ಶ್ರೀ ಅನಿಲ್ ಲೋಬೊ, ಬೆಂಗಳೂರಿನ ಅಲ್ಪಸಂಖ್ಯಾತ ನಿಗಮದ ನಿರ್ದೇಶಕರಾದ ಶ್ರೀ ಮೆಲ್ವಿನ್ ಲಸ್ರಾದೊ ಅವರು ಮುಖ್ಯ ಅತಿಥಿಗಳಾಗಿ ಸಾಂಸ್ಕೃತಿಕ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮವನ್ನು ಆಯೋಜಿಸಲಾಗಿತ್ತು. ಅನೇಕ ನೃತ್ಯಗಳು, ಕಿರುನಾಟಕಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ಹಾಡುಗಳನ್ನು ಪ್ರದರ್ಶಿಸಲಾಯಿತು. ಕಳೆದ ವರ್ಷಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ತಮ್ಮ ಸೇವೆಗಳನ್ನು ಸಲ್ಲಿಸಿದ ಅನೇಕ ಗುರ್ಕಾರ್ , ಪ್ರತಿನಿಧಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಸನ್ಮಾನಿಸಲಾಯಿತು.
ಅದೇ ರೀತಿ ಉತ್ತಮ ಸಾಧನೆ ಮಾಡಿದವರನ್ನು ಸನ್ಮಾನಿಸಲಾಯಿತು. ನಮ್ಮ ಪ್ಯಾರಿಷ್ಗೆ ತಮ್ಮ ಶ್ರೇಷ್ಠ ಸೇವೆಗಳನ್ನು ಸಲ್ಲಿಸಿದ ಹಿಂದಿನ ಉಪಾಧ್ಯಕ್ಷ ಶ್ರೀ ಪ್ರಕಾಶ್ ಸಲ್ದಾನ ಮತ್ತು ಕಾರ್ಯದರ್ಶಿ ಎಲಿಜಬೆತ್ ಪೆರೇರಾ ಅವರನ್ನು ಶ್ಲಾಘಿಸಿ ಸನ್ಮಾನಿಸಲಾಯಿತು. ಇಡೀ ದಿನ ಚರ್ಚ್ನ ಪೋಷಕಿ ಬಾಲೆ ಮೇರಿಗೆ ಗೌರವ ಸಲ್ಲಿಸಲಾಯಿತು.
The annual grand festival of Infant Mary Church in Bajjodi is celebrated with great devotion
The parish feast of Infant Mary church, Bajjodi, was celebrated in a very solemn manner on Sunday, February 8th. At 9.30 am all the people gathered together at OSS convent. A small prayer service was held blessing the statue of Infant Mary. Then with band a grand procession was taken to the church.
In church all the donours were felicitated with blessed candles. At 10.00 am a solemn Eucharistic celebration was held with Rev. Dr. Praveen Leo Lasrado, secretary, diocesan Catholic board of education, as the main celebrant.
In his homily he explained how the parents have to educate and bring up their children. We should love them but don’t pamper them. When needed we should correct them
Lovingly. On the other hand, the children should respect and obey their parents. They should look after them in their old age. If they do, they will obtain abundant graces and blessings from the Lord.
20 priest participated in the celebration and hundreds of people. In the end those who contributed towards the feast celebration were honoured.
The Holy Eucharist was followed with a Fency fete with varied stalls, games and food items.
In the evening a cultural program was organised with Mr. Anil Lobo, Chairman of MCC bank, Mr. Melwyn Lasrado, Director, Minority Nigama, Bangaluru, were the chief guests. Many dances, skits and song were enacted. Many gurkars, Pratinidhis who rendered their services during the past years were thanked and honoured.
Likewise those who had great achievements to their credit were honoured. The past vice president Sri Prakash saldhana and secretary Elizabeth Pereira who had rendered their yeomen services to our parish were appreciated and honoured.
The whole day was a great tribute and honour to Infant Mary, the patroness of the church.
