ಕಲ್ಯಾಣಪುರದ ಸಂತೆಕಟ್ಟೆಯ ಮೌಂಟ್ ರೋಸರಿ ಚರ್ಚ್ನಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆದ ಗಂಭೀರ ಮತ್ತು ಆಕರ್ಷಕ ಸಮಾರಂಭದಲ್ಲಿ, ಹೊಸದಾಗಿ ಆಯ್ಕೆಯಾದ ಪ್ಯಾರಿಷ್ ಪ್ಯಾಸ್ಟೋರಲ್ ಕೌನ್ಸಿಲ್ (ಪಿಪಿಸಿ) ಜನವರಿ 11, 2026 ರ ಭಾನುವಾರ ಬೆಳಿಗ್ಗೆ 8.00 ಗಂಟೆಗೆ ಪವಿತ್ರ ಬಲಿದಾನದ ಸಮಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಔಪಚಾರಿಕವಾಗಿ ಅಧಿಕಾರ ವಹಿಸಿಕೊಂಡಿತು.
ಪ್ಯಾರಿಷ್ ಈ ಹಿಂದೆ ಡಿಸೆಂಬರ್ 2025 ರಲ್ಲಿ ತನ್ನ ಹೊಸ ಕೌನ್ಸಿಲ್ ಅನ್ನು ಆಯ್ಕೆ ಮಾಡಿತ್ತು ಮತ್ತು ಇಂದು ಚರ್ಚ್ ಮತ್ತು ಸಮಾಜಕ್ಕೆ ತಮ್ಮ ಸಮರ್ಪಿತ ಸೇವೆಯ ಅಧಿಕೃತ ಆರಂಭವನ್ನು ಗುರುತಿಸಿತು.
ಬದ್ಧತೆ ಮತ್ತು ನಂಬಿಕೆಯ ಮನೋಭಾವದಿಂದ, ಪ್ರಮುಖ ಪದಾಧಿಕಾರಿಗಳು ತಮ್ಮ ಪ್ರಮಾಣವಚನ ಸ್ವೀಕರಿಸಿದರು:

2026–2028 ರ ಮೂರು ವರ್ಷಗಳ ಅವಧಿಗೆ ಅವರು ಕೌನ್ಸಿಲ್ ಅನ್ನು ಮುನ್ನಡೆಸುತ್ತಾರೆ,
ಪ್ಯಾರಿಷ್ ಜೀವನ ಮತ್ತು ಪ್ರಭಾವವನ್ನು ಬಲಪಡಿಸಲು ಶ್ರಮಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
ಅವರೊಂದಿಗೆ, ಹಣಕಾಸು ಸಮಿತಿಯ ಸದಸ್ಯರು, ಗುರ್ಕರ್ಗಳು, ಪ್ರತಿನಿಧಿಗಳು, ವಿವಿಧ ಧಾರ್ಮಿಕ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಗಳ ಮುಖ್ಯಸ್ಥರು ಮತ್ತು ವಿಕಾರ್ ನಾಮನಿರ್ದೇಶನ ಮಾಡಿದ ವಿಶೇಷ ಸದಸ್ಯರು ಸಹ ಹಾಜರಿದ್ದರು. ಎಲ್ಲರೂ ಸಮರ್ಪಣೆ, ಏಕತೆ ಮತ್ತು ನಿಸ್ವಾರ್ಥ ಬದ್ಧತೆಯೊಂದಿಗೆ ಪ್ಯಾರಿಷ್ ಸಮುದಾಯಕ್ಕೆ ಸೇವೆ ಸಲ್ಲಿಸುವುದಾಗಿ ಪ್ರತಿಜ್ಞೆ ಮಾಡಿದರು.
ದೇವರ ಬಲಿಪೀಠದಲ್ಲಿ ವಿಕಾರ್ ರೆವರೆಂಡ್ ಡಾ. ರೋಕ್ ಡಿಸೋಜಾ ಅವರು ಅಧಿಕಾರ ಮತ್ತು ಗೌಪ್ಯತೆಯ ಪ್ರಮಾಣವಚನವನ್ನು ಭಕ್ತಿಪೂರ್ವಕವಾಗಿ ಬೋಧಿಸಿದರು. ತಮ್ಮ ಸ್ಪೂರ್ತಿದಾಯಕ ಭಾಷಣದಲ್ಲಿ, ಅವರು ಹೊಸದಾಗಿ ಸೇರ್ಪಡೆಗೊಂಡ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಸದಸ್ಯರನ್ನು ಅಭಿನಂದಿಸಿದರು ಮತ್ತು ಅವರ ಕಲ್ಯಾಣ, ಬೆಳವಣಿಗೆ ಮತ್ತು ಆಧ್ಯಾತ್ಮಿಕ ಪ್ರಗತಿಯಿಂದ ಗುರುತಿಸಲ್ಪಟ್ಟ ಫಲಪ್ರದ ಮತ್ತು ಪರಿಣಾಮಕಾರಿ ಅಧಿಕಾರಾವಧಿಯನ್ನು ಹಾರೈಸಿದರು. ಪ್ಯಾರಿಷ್ಗೆ ಅವರ ಅನುಕರಣೀಯ ಮತ್ತು ಶ್ರದ್ಧಾಪೂರ್ವಕ ಸೇವೆಗಾಗಿ ಹಿಂದಿನ ಪಿಪಿಸಿ ಸದಸ್ಯರಿಗೆ ಅವರು ಹೃತ್ಪೂರ್ವಕ ಕೃತಜ್ಞತೆಯನ್ನು ವ್ಯಕ್ತಪಡಿಸಿದರು.
ಪ್ಯಾರಿಷ್ ಪಾದ್ರಿಯು ಸಹಾಯಕ ಪ್ಯಾರಿಷ್ ಫಾದರ್ ರೆವರೆಂಡ್ ಫಾದರ್ ರೋಹನ್ ಮಸ್ಕರೆನ್ಹಸ್ ಅವರಿಂದ ಸಮರ್ಥವಾಗಿ ಸಹಾಯ ಪಡೆದರು, ಸಮಾರಂಭದ ಸುಗಮ ಮತ್ತು ಪ್ರಾರ್ಥನಾಪೂರ್ವಕ ನಡವಳಿಕೆಯನ್ನು ಖಚಿತಪಡಿಸಿಕೊಂಡರು.
ಚರ್ಚ್ ಇಂದು ಯೇಸುವಿನ ಬ್ಯಾಪ್ಟಿಸಮ್ ಹಬ್ಬವನ್ನು ಆಚರಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದಂತೆ, ಹೊಸ ನಾಯಕತ್ವವು ಪವಿತ್ರಾತ್ಮದಿಂದ ಮಾರ್ಗದರ್ಶಿಸಲ್ಪಡಲಿ ಮತ್ತು ಅವರು ನಮ್ರತೆ, ಉತ್ಸಾಹ ಮತ್ತು ಅಚಲ ನಂಬಿಕೆಯಿಂದ ಚರ್ಚ್ಗೆ ಸೇವೆ ಸಲ್ಲಿಸುವುದನ್ನು ಮುಂದುವರಿಸಲಿ.
Laity Leadership Takes Oath of Service at Mount Rosary Church.
In a solemn and grace-filled ceremony, Mount Rosary Church, Santhekatte – Kallianpur witnessed a significant milestone as the newly elected Parish Pastoral Council (PPC) formally assumed office on Sunday, 11th January 2026, during the Holy Mass at 8.00 a.m.
The Parish had earlier chosen its new council in December 2025, and today marked the official commencement of their dedicated service to the Church and society.
In a spirit of commitment and faith, the key office bearers took their oath:
Mr. Baptist Dias – Vice President
Mrs. Priya Furtado – Secretary
Mr. Valerian Fernandes – Coordinator of 20 Pastoral Commissions
They will lead the council for the three years tenure 2026–2028,
striving to strengthen parish life and outreach.
Along with them, members of the Finance Committee, Gurkars, Pratinidhis, heads of various pious organisations, and special members nominated by the Vicar were also present. All solemnly vowed to serve the parish community with dedication, unity, and selfless commitment.
The oath of office and secrecy was reverently administered by Vicar Rev. Dr. Roque D’Souza at the Altar of God. In his inspiring address, he congratulated all the newly inducted members and wished them a fruitful and impactful tenure marked by welfare, growth, and spiritual progress. He also expressed heartfelt appreciation to the previous PPC members for their exemplary and devoted service to the parish.
The Parish Priest was ably assisted by Asst. Parish Priest Rev. Fr. Rohan Muscarenhas, ensuring the smooth and prayerful conduct of the ceremony.
As the Church observed the feast of Baptism of Jesus today, May the new leadership be guided by the Holy Spirit as they continue to serve the Church with humility, zeal, and unwavering faith.
