ಡಿಸೆಂಬರ್ 19, 2025 ರಂದು ಮಂಗಳೂರಿನ ಮೌಂಟ್ ಕಾರ್ಮೆಲ್ ಸೆಂಟ್ರಲ್ ಶಾಲೆಯ 17 ನೇ ನರ್ಸರಿ ಮತ್ತು ಕಿಂಡರ್ಗಾರ್ಟನ್ ವಾರ್ಷಿಕ ದಿನವನ್ನು ಬಹಳ ಸಂತೋಷ ಮತ್ತು ತೇಜಸ್ಸಿನಿಂದ ಆಚರಿಸಲಾಯಿತು, ಇದು “ARC-EN-CIEL, ಅಲ್ಲಿ ಪುಟ್ಟ ನಕ್ಷತ್ರಗಳು ಆಕಾಶವನ್ನು ಬಣ್ಣಗಳಿಂದ ಚಿಮ್ಮುತ್ತವೆ” ಎಂಬ ಮೋಡಿಮಾಡುವ ಥೀಮ್ ಅನ್ನು ಅನಾವರಣಗೊಳಿಸಿತು. ಈ ಆಚರಣೆಯು ಮುಗ್ಧತೆ, ಕಲ್ಪನೆ ಮತ್ತು ಅಪರಿಮಿತ ಸೃಜನಶೀಲತೆಯ ರೋಮಾಂಚಕ ಪ್ರತಿಬಿಂಬವಾಗಿತ್ತು.
ಮುಖ್ಯ ಅತಿಥಿ, ಪ್ರಿಯದರ್ಶನಿ ಮಾಂಟೆಸ್ಸರಿ ಮಕ್ಕಳ ಮಂದಿರದ ಸಂಸ್ಥಾಪಕಿ ಮತ್ತು ನಿರ್ದೇಶಕಿ ಶ್ರೀಮತಿ ಸ್ವರೂಪ್ ದೇವಯ್ಯ, ಪ್ರಾಂಶುಪಾಲರು, ಆಡಳಿತ ಮಂಡಳಿಯ ಸದಸ್ಯರು ಮತ್ತು ಪಿಟಿಎ ಉಪಾಧ್ಯಕ್ಷ ಶ್ರೀ ಅನಂತೇಶ್ ಪ್ರಭು ಅವರನ್ನು ಸಾಂಪ್ರದಾಯಿಕ ಪೂರ್ಣ ಕುಂಭ ಸ್ವಾಗತದೊಂದಿಗೆ ಆತ್ಮೀಯವಾಗಿ ಸ್ವಾಗತಿಸಲಾಯಿತು.
ಭಾವಪೂರ್ಣ ಪ್ರಾರ್ಥನಾ ನೃತ್ಯವು ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮಕ್ಕೆ ಭಕ್ತಿಪೂರ್ವಕ ಸ್ವರವನ್ನು ಹೊಂದಿಸಿತು, ನಂತರ ಆಕರ್ಷಕ ಸ್ವಾಗತ ನೃತ್ಯವು ಪ್ರೇಕ್ಷಕರನ್ನು ಮೋಡಿ ಮಾಡಿತು. ನಂತರ ಪ್ರಾಂಶುಪಾಲರಾದ ಶ್ರೀ ಮೆಲಿಸ್ಸಾ ಸ್ವಾಗತ ಭಾಷಣ ಮಾಡಿದರು ಮತ್ತು ಗಣ್ಯ ಮುಖ್ಯ ಅತಿಥಿಯನ್ನು ಔಪಚಾರಿಕವಾಗಿ ಪರಿಚಯಿಸಿದರು.
ಬೆಳಗಿನ ಪ್ರಮುಖ ಆಕರ್ಷಣೆಯೆಂದರೆ “ದಿ ಮ್ಯಾಜಿಕ್ ಆಫ್ ಕ್ರಿಸ್ಮಸ್” ಎಂಬ ಶೀರ್ಷಿಕೆಯ ಕ್ರಿಸ್ಮಸ್ ಸಂಗೀತ ನಾಟಕ, ಇದು ಕ್ರಿಸ್ಮಸ್ನ ಮೂರು ಸಂಪತ್ತುಗಳನ್ನು – ಪ್ರೀತಿ, ಶಾಂತಿ ಮತ್ತು ದಯೆಯನ್ನು ಹರಡುವ ಸಂದೇಶವನ್ನು ತಿಳಿಸಿತು. ಇದರ ನಂತರ ವಾರ್ಷಿಕ ವರದಿಯನ್ನು ಮಂಡಿಸಲಾಯಿತು.
ನಂತರ ಮುಖ್ಯ ಅತಿಥಿ ಸಭೆಯನ್ನುದ್ದೇಶಿಸಿ ತಮ್ಮ ಅಮೂಲ್ಯವಾದ ಒಳನೋಟಗಳನ್ನು ಹಂಚಿಕೊಂಡರು, ಬಾಲ್ಯದ ಶಿಕ್ಷಣಕ್ಕೆ ಶಾಲೆಯ ಸಮಗ್ರ ವಿಧಾನವನ್ನು ಶ್ಲಾಘಿಸಿದರು ಮತ್ತು ಕಿಂಡರ್ಗಾರ್ಟನ್ ಮಟ್ಟದಲ್ಲಿ ಕಲಿಕೆಯು ಶೈಕ್ಷಣಿಕತೆಯನ್ನು ಮೀರಿ ಮೌಲ್ಯಗಳು, ಆತ್ಮವಿಶ್ವಾಸ ಮತ್ತು ಭಾವನಾತ್ಮಕ ಯೋಗಕ್ಷೇಮವನ್ನು ಪೋಷಿಸಲು ವಿಸ್ತರಿಸುತ್ತದೆ ಎಂದು ಒತ್ತಿ ಹೇಳಿದರು. ಈ ಮೌಲ್ಯಗಳನ್ನು ಬಲಪಡಿಸುವ ಮತ್ತು ಮಕ್ಕಳ ಒಟ್ಟಾರೆ ಬೆಳವಣಿಗೆಯನ್ನು ಪ್ರೋತ್ಸಾಹಿಸುವ ಪ್ರೀತಿಯ, ಬೆಂಬಲ ನೀಡುವ ಮನೆಯ ವಾತಾವರಣವನ್ನು ಒದಗಿಸುವ ಮೂಲಕ ಶಾಲೆಯೊಂದಿಗೆ ಸಕ್ರಿಯವಾಗಿ ಪಾಲುದಾರರಾಗಲು ಪೋಷಕರನ್ನು ಒತ್ತಾಯಿಸಿದರು.
ಮತ್ತೊಂದು ಪ್ರಮುಖ ಆಕರ್ಷಣೆಯೆಂದರೆ “ARC-EN-CIEL, ದಿ ರೇನ್ಬೋ ಆಫ್ ಫ್ರೆಂಡ್ಶಿಪ್” ಎಂಬ ವಿಷಯಾಧಾರಿತ ಸ್ಕಿಟ್, ಅಲ್ಲಿ ನರ್ಸರಿ ಮತ್ತು ಕಿಂಡರ್ಗಾರ್ಟನ್ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ಸ್ನೇಹದ ಸೌಂದರ್ಯವನ್ನು ಪ್ರಸ್ತುತಪಡಿಸಲು ನಾಟಕ, ನೃತ್ಯ ಮತ್ತು ಅಭಿವ್ಯಕ್ತಿಶೀಲ ಕ್ರಿಯೆಗಳನ್ನು ಸಂಯೋಜಿಸಿದರು. ಮಳೆಬಿಲ್ಲಿನ ಏಳು ಬಣ್ಣಗಳನ್ನು ಸೃಜನಾತ್ಮಕವಾಗಿ ಚಿತ್ರಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ, ಪ್ರತಿಯೊಂದು ಬಣ್ಣವು ಪ್ರೀತಿ, ದಯೆ, ಶಾಂತಿ ಮತ್ತು ಏಕತೆಯನ್ನು ಪ್ರೇರೇಪಿಸುವ ಮೌಲ್ಯವನ್ನು ಪ್ರತಿಬಿಂಬಿಸುತ್ತದೆ.
ಜೋಆನ್ನೆ, ಕೌಶಿಕ್ ಮತ್ತು ಪ್ರಣ್ವಿ ಅವರು ಧನ್ಯವಾದಗಳನ್ನು ನಿರರ್ಗಳವಾಗಿ ನೀಡಿದರು. ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮವನ್ನು ಯುವ ಎಮ್ಸಿಗಳಾದ ನೊವಾರಾ, ಜೇಶಿಕ್, ನೈಫಾ, ಕ್ರಿಸೆಲ್, ಫ್ಲಿಯಾನಾ, ಪೆಟ್ರಿನಾ, ಸೋಹನ್, ಲಿಯಾನ್, ಚಿರಾಂತ್ ಮತ್ತು ಕ್ರಿಸ್ಟಲ್ ಆಕರ್ಷಕವಾಗಿ ನಿರೂಪಿಸಿದರು.
ಈ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮವು ಸಂತೋಷದಾಯಕ ಟಿಪ್ಪಣಿಯೊಂದಿಗೆ ಮುಕ್ತಾಯಗೊಂಡಿತು, ನಗು, ಚಪ್ಪಾಳೆ ಮತ್ತು ಆಕಾಶದಾದ್ಯಂತ ಪುಟ್ಟ ನಕ್ಷತ್ರಗಳು ಚಿತ್ರಿಸಿದ ಮಳೆಬಿಲ್ಲಿನ ಮಾಂತ್ರಿಕತೆಯನ್ನು ಬಿಟ್ಟು ಹೋಯಿತು.
“ARC-EN-CIEL”, the Tiny Tots of Mount Carmel Central School Celebrate their Kindergarten Day
The 17th Nursery and Kindergarten Annual Day of Mount Carmel Central School, Mangaluru was celebrated with great joy and brilliance on December 19, 2025, unfolding the enchanting theme “ARC-EN-CIEL, Where Little Stars Splash the Sky with Colours”. The celebration was a vibrant reflection of innocence, imagination, and boundless creativity.
The Chief Guest, Mrs Swaroop Devaiah, Founder and Director of Priyadarshani Montessori House of Children, along with the Principal, members of the Management and the PTA Vice President Mr Ananthesh Prabhu, was warmly welcomed with the traditional Poorna kumbha Swagatham.
A soulful prayer dance set a reverent tone for the programme, after which a graceful welcome dance enthralled the audience. The Principal, Sr Melissa, then delivered the welcome address and formally introduced the distinguished Chief Guest.
The highlight of the morning was the Christmas musical drama titled “The Magic of Christmas”, and conveyed the message of spreading the three treasures of Christmas – love, peace and kindness. This was followed by the presentation of the Annual Report.
The Chief Guest then addressed the gathering and shared her valuable insights, appreciating the school’s holistic approach to early childhood education, and emphasizing that learning at the kindergarten level extends beyond academics to nurture values, confidence, and emotional well-being. She also urged parents to actively partner with the school by providing a loving, supportive home environment that reinforces these values and encourages children’s overall growth.
Another major attraction was the thematic skit “ARC-EN-CIEL, the Rainbow of Friendship”, where the nursery and kindergarten students blended drama, dance and expressive actions to present the beauty of friendship. The seven colours of the rainbow were creatively portrayed, with each colour reflecting a value that inspired love, kindness, peace and unity.
The Vote of Thanks was eloquently delivered by Joanne, Kaushik, and Pranvi. The programme was charmingly compered by the young emcees Novara, Jeshik, Naifa, Chrisel, Fliana, Petrina, Sohan, Leon, Chiranth, and Christle.
The event concluded on a joyful note, leaving behind smiles, applause, and the lingering magic of a rainbow painted by little stars across the sky.
