ಕಲ್ಯಾಣಪುರ,ಮೇ 23, 2025 ರಂದು, ಮಿಲಾಗ್ರಿಸ್ ಕಾಲೇಜಿನ ಕಲ್ಲಿನ್‌ಪುರದ ವಾಣಿಜ್ಯ ವಿಭಾಗವು ಒಂದು ಮಹತ್ವದ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮವನ್ನು ಆಯೋಜಿಸಿತು, ಇದು ಇಲಾಖೆಯ ಇತಿಹಾಸದಲ್ಲಿ ಮಹತ್ವದ ಮೈಲಿಗಲ್ಲನ್ನು ಗುರುತಿಸುತ್ತದೆ. ಈ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದಲ್ಲಿ ಕೈಗಾರಿಕಾ ಭೇಟಿ ವರದಿ ಬಿಡುಗಡೆ ಮತ್ತು “ಲೆಕ್ಕಪತ್ರ ನಿರ್ವಹಣೆಗೆ ಮೂಲಭೂತ ಅಂಶಗಳು” ಎಂಬ ಆಡ್-ಆನ್ ಕೋರ್ಸ್‌ಗಾಗಿ ಪ್ರಮಾಣಪತ್ರಗಳ ವಿತರಣೆ ನಡೆಯಿತು.
ಏಪ್ರಿಲ್ 12, 2025 ರಂದು ನಡೆಸಲಾದ ಕೈಗಾರಿಕಾ ಭೇಟಿಯು ಅಂತಿಮ ವರ್ಷದ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳನ್ನು ಗುರುಚರಣ್ ಇಂಡಸ್ಟ್ರೀಸ್ ಮತ್ತು ದಕ್ಷಿಣ ಕನ್ನಡ ಜಿಲ್ಲಾ ಸಹಕಾರಿ ಹಾಲು ಉತ್ಪಾದಕರ ಸಂಘಗಳ ಒಕ್ಕೂಟ ಲಿಮಿಟೆಡ್, ಮಂಗಳೂರಿನಲ್ಲಿಗೆ ಕರೆದೊಯ್ದಿತು. ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ಮಾರ್ಗದರ್ಶಕರೊಂದಿಗೆ ಸಂವಹನ ನಡೆಸಿದರು ಮತ್ತು ವಿವಿಧ ಇಲಾಖೆಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ಉತ್ಪಾದನಾ ಘಟಕಗಳಿಂದ ಡೇಟಾವನ್ನು ಸಂಗ್ರಹಿಸಿದರು, ಉದ್ಯಮದ ಅಭ್ಯಾಸಗಳ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಅಮೂಲ್ಯವಾದ ಒಳನೋಟಗಳನ್ನು ಪಡೆದರು.
ಅಂತಿಮ ವರ್ಷದ ಬಿ.ಕಾಂ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳಾದ ಶ್ರೀಮತಿ ಕಾವ್ಯಾ ಶೆಟ್ಟಿ ಮತ್ತು ಶ್ರೀಮತಿ ಪೂನಂ ಎನ್. ಪೂಜಾರಿ ತಮ್ಮ ಅನುಭವಗಳ ಆಧಾರದ ಮೇಲೆ ಸಮಗ್ರ ವರದಿಗಳನ್ನು ಸಿದ್ಧಪಡಿಸಿದರು. ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದ ಸಮಯದಲ್ಲಿ, ಅವರು ತಮ್ಮ ಸಂಶೋಧನೆಗಳನ್ನು ಪ್ರಸ್ತುತಪಡಿಸಿದರು, ತಮ್ಮ ಅನುಭವದ ಕಲಿಕೆಯ ಅನುಭವಗಳನ್ನು ಹಂಚಿಕೊಂಡರು ಮತ್ತು ಪ್ರಾಯೋಗಿಕ ಜ್ಞಾನವನ್ನು ಪಡೆಯುವ ಅವಕಾಶಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಕೃತಜ್ಞತೆಯನ್ನು ವ್ಯಕ್ತಪಡಿಸಿದರು.
ಉಪ ಪ್ರಾಂಶುಪಾಲೆ ಶ್ರೀಮತಿ ಸೋಫಿಯಾ ಡಯಾಸ್ ಅವರು ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷತೆ ವಹಿಸಿ, ಕ್ಷೇತ್ರ ಭೇಟಿ ವರದಿಯನ್ನು ಅಧಿಕೃತವಾಗಿ ಬಿಡುಗಡೆ ಮಾಡಿದರು. ವಿಶೇಷ ಆಹ್ವಾನಿತರಾದ ಡಾ. ಜಯರಾಮ್ ಶೆಟ್ಟಿಗಾರ್ ಅವರು ಗುರುಚರಣ್ ಇಂಡಸ್ಟ್ರೀಸ್ ಸಂಸ್ಥಾಪಕ ಶ್ರೀ ಜಯಕರ್ ಶೆಟ್ಟಿಗಾರ್ ಅವರ ಸಾಧನೆಗಳನ್ನು ಎತ್ತಿ ತೋರಿಸಿದರು ಮತ್ತು ದೇಶದ ಹಾಲು ಕ್ರಾಂತಿಗೆ ದಕ್ಷಿಣ ಕನ್ನಡ ಜಿಲ್ಲಾ ಸಹಕಾರಿ ಹಾಲು ಉತ್ಪಾದಕರ ಒಕ್ಕೂಟದ ಕೊಡುಗೆಗಳನ್ನು ಶ್ಲಾಘಿಸಿದರು.
ಆಂತರಿಕ ಗುಣಮಟ್ಟ ಭರವಸೆ ಕೋಶದ ಸಂಯೋಜಕರಾದ ಶ್ರೀಮತಿ ಶೈಲೆಟ್ ಮಥಿಯಾಸ್, ವಾಣಿಜ್ಯ ವಿಭಾಗದ ಉಪನ್ಯಾಸಕಿಯರಾದ ಶ್ರೀಮತಿ ಚೈತ್ರ ಮತ್ತು ಶ್ರೀ ಗಣೇಶ್ ನಾಯಕ್ ಅವರ ಪ್ರಯತ್ನಗಳನ್ನು ಶ್ಲಾಘಿಸಿ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳ ಕಠಿಣ ಪರಿಶ್ರಮ ಮತ್ತು ಶಿಸ್ತನ್ನು ಶ್ಲಾಘಿಸಿದರು. ವಾಣಿಜ್ಯ ವಿಭಾಗವು ಆಯೋಜಿಸಿದ್ದ “ಲೆಕ್ಕಪತ್ರಕ್ಕೆ ಮೂಲಭೂತ ಅಂಶಗಳು” ಎಂಬ ಕಿರು ಕೋರ್ಸ್ ಅನ್ನು ಪೂರ್ಣಗೊಳಿಸಿದ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಪ್ರಮಾಣಪತ್ರಗಳನ್ನು ವಿತರಿಸಲಾಯಿತು.
ಅಂತಿಮ ವರ್ಷದ ಬಿ.ಕಾಂ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿನಿ ಶ್ರೀಮತಿ ವರ್ಷಿಣಿ ಅವರು ಸಮಾರಂಭವನ್ನು ನಿರೂಪಿಸಿದರು, ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದ ಸುಗಮ ಅನುಷ್ಠಾನವನ್ನು ಖಚಿತಪಡಿಸಿಕೊಂಡರು. ಈ ಮೈಲಿಗಲ್ಲು ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮವು ಪ್ರಾಯೋಗಿಕ ಕಲಿಕೆಯ ಅನುಭವಗಳನ್ನು ಒದಗಿಸಲು ಮತ್ತು ಶೈಕ್ಷಣಿಕ ಶ್ರೇಷ್ಠತೆಯನ್ನು ಬೆಳೆಸಲು ವಾಣಿಜ್ಯ ಇಲಾಖೆಯ ಬದ್ಧತೆಯನ್ನು ಪ್ರದರ್ಶಿಸುತ್ತದೆ, ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ಅಧ್ಯಾಪಕರ ಸಮರ್ಪಣೆಯನ್ನು ಪ್ರದರ್ಶಿಸುತ್ತದೆ.
Milagres College Kallinpur’s Department of Commerce Hosts Historic Event
On May 23, 2025, Milagres College Kallinpur’s Department of Commerce organized a landmark event, marking a significant milestone in the department’s history. The program featured the release of the Industrial Visit Report and the distribution of certificates for the Add-on Course in “Basics to Accounting.”
The industrial visit, conducted on April 12, 2025, took final-year students to Gurucharan Industries and Dakshina Kannada District Cooperative Milk Producers Societies Union Ltd., Mangalore. Students interacted with guides and collected data from various departments and manufacturing units, gaining valuable insights into industry practices.
Ms. Kavya Shetty and Ms. Poonam N. Poojary, final-year B.Com students, prepared comprehensive reports based on their experiences. During the program, they presented their findings, sharing their experiential learning experiences and gratitude for the opportunity to gain practical knowledge.
Vice Principal Mrs. Sophia Dias presided over the event, officially releasing the field visit report. Dr. Jayaram Shettigar, a special invitee, highlighted the achievements of Shri Jayakar Shettigar, founder of Gurucharan Industries, and appreciated the contributions of the Dakshina Kannada District Cooperative Milk Producers’ Union to the country’s milk revolution.
Mrs. Shailet Mathias, Internal Quality Assurance Cell Coordinator, praised the students’ hard work and discipline, acknowledging the efforts of Commerce Department lecturers Mrs. Chaithra and Mr. Ganesh Nayak. Certificates were distributed to students who completed the short course on “Basics to Accounting,” organized by the Commerce Department.
The ceremony was compered by Ms. Varshini, a final-year B.Com student, ensuring the smooth execution of the event. This milestone event demonstrates the Department of Commerce’s commitment to providing practical learning experiences and fostering academic excellence, showcasing the dedication of students and faculty.
