ದಾವಣಗೆರೆ, ಸೆಪ್ಟೆಂಬರ್ 1, 2026: ಶಿವಮೊಗ್ಗ ಡಯಾಸಿಸ್‌ನ ದಾವಣಗೆರೆ ಜಿಲ್ಲೆಯ ಹರಿಹರದಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಅವರ್ ಲೇಡಿ ಆಫ್ ಹೆಲ್ತ್ ಮೈನರ್ ಬೆಸಿಲಿಕಾದಲ್ಲಿ ಮೂರನೇ ದಿನದ ನೊವೆನಾ ಸೆಪ್ಟೆಂಬರ್ 1, 2026 ರಂದು ಸಂಜೆ 5:30 ಕ್ಕೆ ರೆಕ್ಟರ್ ಮತ್ತು ಪ್ಯಾರಿಷ್ ಪಾದ್ರಿ ಫಾದರ್ ಜಾರ್ಜ್ ಕೆ.ಎ. ನೇತೃತ್ವದಲ್ಲಿ ಜಪಮಾಲೆ, ಮೆರವಣಿಗೆ ಮತ್ತು ನೊವೆನಾದೊಂದಿಗೆ ಪ್ರಾರಂಭವಾಯಿತು.

ಸಂಜೆ 6 ಗಂಟೆಗೆ, ಚಿಕ್ಕಮಗಳೂರು ಡಯಾಸಿಸ್‌ನ ತರೀಕೆರೆಯ ಸೇಂಟ್ ಥಾಮಸ್ ಚರ್ಚ್‌ನ ಪ್ಯಾರಿಷ್ ಪಾದ್ರಿ ರೆವರೆಂಡ್ ಫಾದರ್ ವಿಲಿಯಂ ಪೆರೇರಾ ಅವರು ಪವಿತ್ರ ಯೂಕರಿಸ್ಟ್ ಅನ್ನು ಅರ್ಪಿಸಿದರು. ಅವರ ಧರ್ಮೋಪದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿ, “ಕರ್ತನಾದ ಯೇಸು ಅಂಚಿನಲ್ಲಿರುವವರಿಗೆ ತಂದೆಯಾದ ದೇವರ ಮುಖ” ಎಂಬ ವಿಷಯವಿತ್ತು. ಅವರು ತಮ್ಮ ಧರ್ಮೋಪದೇಶವನ್ನು ಯೆಶಾಯ 42:1-4, 7-9 ಮತ್ತು ಲೂಕ 4:16-21 ರ ಆಧಾರದ ಮೇಲೆ ಆಧರಿಸಿದ್ದರು.

Third day’s Novena at Our Lady of Health Minor Basilica, Harihara, Diocese of Shimoga

Davanagere, September 1, 2026: The third day’s Novena at Our Lady of Health Minor Basilica in Harihara, Davanagere district, Diocese of Shimoga, commenced with a rosary, procession, and Novena led by Rector and Parish Priest Fr. George K.A. at 5:30 pm on September 1, 2026.

At 6 p.m., Rev. Fr. William Pereira, Parish Priest of St. Thomas Church, Tarikere of the Diocese of Chikmagalur, offered the Holy Eucharist. In his homily, the theme was “Lord Jesus is the face of God the Father for the marginalized.” He based his preaching on Isaiah 42:1-4, 7-9 and Luke 4:16-21.

After the Mass, Fr. William Pereira led the benediction, and priests prayed over the pilgrims. Floral homage to the Blessed Virgin Mary, led by Fr. George K. A., was paid to Harihara Matha, followed by food being served to all.

The event was a significant spiritual experience for the devotees, fostering a deeper connection with their faith and the message of hope embodied by Our Lady of Health.
