ಮಂಗಳೂರಿನ ನಾಗರಿಕ ಸೌಲಭ್ಯಕ್ಕೆ ರೋಹನ್ ಕಾರ್ಪೊರೇಶನ್‌ನ ಕೊಡುಗೆ; ನೂತನ ಬಸ್ ತಂಗುದಾಣ ಉದ್ಘಾಟನೆ

ಮಂಗಳೂರು, ಆಗಸ್ಟ್ 31, 2026: ಮಂಗಳೂರಿನ ಕಪಿತಾನಿಯೊದಲ್ಲಿ ರೋಹನ್ ಕಾರ್ಪೊರೇಶನ್ ಇಂಡಿಯಾ ಪ್ರೈವೇಟ್ ಲಿಮಿಟೆಡ್ ವತಿಯಿಂದ ನೂತನವಾಗಿ ನಿರ್ಮಿಸಲಾದ ‘ರೋಹನ್ ಸ್ಕ್ವೇರ್ ಬಸ್ ತಂಗುದಾಣ’ ವನ್ನು ಉದ್ಘಾಟಿಸಲಾಯಿತು. ನಗರದ ನಾಗರಿಕ ಮೂಲಸೌಕರ್ಯವನ್ನು ಬಲಪಡಿಸುವ ಹಾಗೂ ಸಾರ್ವಜನಿಕರಿಗೆ ಹೆಚ್ಚಿನ ಅನುಕೂಲ ಕಲ್ಪಿಸುವ ಉದ್ದೇಶದಿಂದ ಈ ಕಾರ್ಯವನ್ನು ಕೈಗೊಳ್ಳಲಾಗಿದೆ.

ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ ವಿಧಾನಸಭೆಯ ಸದಸ್ಯರಾದ ಶ್ರೀ ಡಿ. ವೇದವ್ಯಾಸ ಕಾಮತ್ ಅವರು ನೂತನ ಬಸ್ ತಂಗುದಾಣವನ್ನು ಉದ್ಘಾಟಿಸಿದರು. ಈ ಸಂದರ್ಭದಲ್ಲಿ ರೋಹನ್ ಕಾರ್ಪೊರೇಶನ್ ಇಂಡಿಯಾ ಪ್ರೈವೇಟ್ ಲಿಮಿಟೆಡ್‌ನ ವ್ಯವಸ್ಥಾಪಕ ನಿರ್ದೇಶಕರಾದ ಡಾ. ರೋಹನ್ ಮೊಂತೆರೊ, ನಿರ್ದೇಶಕರಾದ ಶ್ರೀ ಡಿಯೋನ್ ಮೊಂತೆರೊ, ಕಾರ್ಪೊರೇಟರ್ ಶ್ರೀ ಸಂದೀಪ್ ಗರೋಡಿ, ರೋಹನ್ ಕಾರ್ಪೊರೇಶನ್ ನ ಜನರಲ್ ಮ್ಯಾನೇಜರ್ ಶ್ರೀಮತಿ ಸುಮನಾ, ಶ್ರೀ ಜೇಮ್ಸ್ ಸೇರಿದಂತೆ ಇತರ ಗಣ್ಯರು ಹಾಗೂ ಹಿತೈಷಿಗಳು ಉಪಸ್ಥಿತರಿದ್ದರು.

ಈ ಸಂದರ್ಭದಲ್ಲಿ ಮಾತನಾಡಿದ ಡಿ. ವೇದವ್ಯಾಸ ಕಾಮತ್ ಅವರು, “ಜನರ ಅಗತ್ಯವನ್ನು ಗಮನದಲ್ಲಿಟ್ಟುಕೊಂಡು ಮಾಡುವ ಕೆಲಸವೇ ನಿಜವಾದ ಸೇವೆ. ಆ ನಿಟ್ಟಿನಲ್ಲಿ, ಸಾರ್ವಜನಿಕರ ದೈನಂದಿನ ಪ್ರಯಾಣಕ್ಕೆ ಅನುಕೂಲವಾಗುವಂತೆ ರೋಹನ್ ಕಾರ್ಪೊರೇಶನ್ ಕೈಗೊಂಡಿರುವ ಈ ಕಾರ್ಯ ನಿಜಕ್ಕೂ ಶ್ಲಾಘನೀಯ. ಮಂಗಳೂರಿನ ಜನರಿಗೆ ಉಪಯುಕ್ತವಾಗುವ ಇಂತಹ ಕಾರ್ಯಗಳು ಇನ್ನಷ್ಟು ನಡೆಯಲಿ ಎಂದು ಆಶಿಸುತ್ತೇನೆ.” ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದರು.

ಕಾರ್ಪೊರೇಟರ್ ಶ್ರೀ ಸಂದೀಪ್ ಗರೋಡಿ ಅವರು ಮಾತನಾಡಿ, “ಮಂಗಳೂರಿನ ಬೆಳವಣಿಗೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ರೋಹನ್ ಕಾರ್ಪೊರೇಶನ್ ನ ಕೊಡುಗೆ ಗಮನಾರ್ಹವಾಗಿದೆ. ತಮ್ಮ ಯೋಜನೆಗಳ ಜೊತೆಗೆ ನಗರದ ಜನಜೀವನಕ್ಕೂ ಉಪಯೋಗವಾಗುವ ಕೆಲಸಗಳಿಗೆ ಆದ್ಯತೆ ನೀಡುತ್ತಿರುವುದು ನಿಜಕ್ಕೂ ಅಭಿನಂದನಾರ್ಹ . ಈ ರೀತಿಯ ಜನಪರ ಕಾರ್ಯಗಳು ಮುಂದಿನ ದಿನಗಳಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಇನ್ನಷ್ಟು ನಡೆಯಲಿ, ಮಂಗಳೂರಿನ ಅಭಿವೃದ್ಧಿಗೆ ಇನ್ನಷ್ಟು ಕೊಡುಗೆ ನೀಡಲಿ.” ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದರು.

ಇದೇ ಸಂದರ್ಭದಲ್ಲಿ ಡಾ. ರೋಹನ್ ಮೊಂತೆರೊ ಅವರು ಮಾತನಾಡಿ, “ಮಂಗಳೂರಿನೊಂದಿಗೆ ನಿಕಟವಾಗಿ ಬೆಸೆದುಕೊಂಡಿರುವ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಯಾಗಿ, ನಮ್ಮ ಜವಾಬ್ದಾರಿ ನಮ್ಮ ಯೋಜನೆಗಳಿಗಷ್ಟೇ ಸೀಮಿತವಾಗಿಲ್ಲ ಎಂದು ನಾವು ನಂಬುತ್ತೇವೆ. ಸಾರ್ವಜನಿಕರ ದೈನಂದಿನ ಬದುಕಿಗೆ ಅನುಕೂಲವಾಗುವಂತಹ ಕಾರ್ಯಗಳ ಮೂಲಕ ನಗರಕ್ಕೆ ಕೊಡುಗೆ ನೀಡುವುದು ನಮ್ಮ ಬದ್ಧತೆಯ ಭಾಗವಾಗಿದೆ. ಈ ಬಸ್ ತಂಗುದಾಣವು ಆ ನಿಟ್ಟಿನಲ್ಲಿ ನಮ್ಮ ಒಂದು ಅರ್ಥಪೂರ್ಣ ಹೆಜ್ಜೆಯಾಗಿದೆ.” ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದರು.

Rohan Corporation hands over new bus shelter at Capitanio in civic service to Mangaluru

Mangaluru, August 31, 2026: Rohan Corporation India Pvt. Ltd. inaugurated the new “Rohan Square Bus Shelter” at Capitanio, as part of its continued commitment to contributing to the city’s civic infrastructure and public convenience.

The bus shelter was inaugurated by Mr. D. Vedavyas Kamath, Member of the Karnataka Legislative Assembly, in the presence of Dr. Rohan Monteiro, Managing Director, Rohan Corporation India Pvt. Ltd.; Mr. Dion Monteiro, Director, Rohan Corporation India Pvt. Ltd.; Mr. Sandeep Garodi, Corporator; Mrs. Sumana, General Manager, Rohan Corporation; Mr. James, along with other guests and well-wishers.

The newly inaugurated facility is intended to provide commuters with a safer, more comfortable and convenient space while waiting for public transport. The facility is expected to benefit residents, commuters and visitors in the area, while adding to the convenience of daily travel.

Speaking on the occasion, D. Vedavyas Kamath said, “Good work that is done with the intention of serving people always has a lasting value. I appreciate Rohan Corporation for coming forward with this initiative and contributing to a more comfortable and commuter-friendly Mangaluru.”
