ಕೊಂಕಣಿ ಏಕಲಿಪಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಬರೆಯುವ ,ಏಕ ಧರ್ಮದ ಜನರು ಮಾತನಾಡುವ ಭಾಷೆಗಳ ಪೈಕಿಯಲ್ಲ.ಕೊಂಕಣಿ ಮಾತೃಭಾಷಿಗರು ತಮ್ಮ ಭಾಷಾ ಅಸ್ಮಿತತೆ ಉಳಿಸಲು ತಾವು ಹೋದ ಕಡೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ತಮ್ಮ ಛಾಪು ಒತ್ತಲು ಅಲ್ಲಿನ ರಾಜ್ಯಭಾಷೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಅಪಾರ ಸಾಹಿತ್ಯವನ್ನು ಬರೆದರು. ಇದರಿಂದ ಕೊಂಕಣಿ ನಿರಂತರ ವಿಶ್ವ ಮಟ್ಟಕ್ಕೆ ಎಂದೂ ಸಾಯದ ಮಟ್ಟಕ್ಕೆ ಬೆಳೆದಿದೆ ಎಂದು ರೇಮಂಡ್ ಡಿಕೂನಾ ತಾಕೊಡೆ ನುಡಿದರು.
ಅವರು ಬೆಂಗಳೂರು ಜಾಲಹಳ್ಳಿ ಕುವೆಂಪುನಗರದ ಶ್ರೀರಾಮ ಸಮೀಕ್ಷ ಕ್ಲಬ್ ಹೌಸ್ನ ಸಭಾಂಗಣದಲ್ಲಿ ಕೊಂಕಣಿ ಭಾಷೆಗೆ ಸಂವಿಧಾನದ ಎಂಟನೇ ಪರಿಚ್ಛೇದದಲ್ಲಿ ಮಾನ್ಯತೆ ಸಿಕ್ಕಿದ 35 ವರ್ಷಾಚರಣೆಯ ಕೊಂಕಣಿ ಭಾಷಾ ಮಂಡಳ್ ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ ಮತ್ತು ಕೊಂಕಣಿ ಕುಟಮ್ ಜಾಲಹಳ್ಳಿ ಜಂಟಿ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮ ದೀಪಬೆಳಗಿಸಿ ಉದ್ಘಾಟನೆ ಮಾಡಿ ಮಾತನಾಡಿದರು .
ಕೊಂಕಣಿ ದೇವರ ಭಾಷೆ ಆಗಿದೆ.”ದೇವ್ ಬರೆಂ ಕರುಂ”, “ದೇವ್ ಬರೊ ದೀಸ್ ದೀಂವ್” ಹೀಗೆ ಆಶಯಗಳನ್ನು ದೇವರ ಹೆಸರಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಕೊಡುವ ಕೊಂಕಣಿಯು ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರದ ಮಾನ್ಯತೆ ಪಡೆದ ಹಿಂದಿ ಲಿಪಿಯನ್ನು ದೇವ್ನಗರಿ ಲಿಪಿ ಎಂದು ಕರೆಯುವ ಏಕೈಕ ಭಾಷೆಯು ಕೊಂಕಣಿಯಾಗಿದೆ ಎಂದು ಧೃಡೀಕರಿಸಿದರು.ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷರಾದ ಸೈಂಟ್ ಬೆನೆಡಿಕ್ಟ್ ಪದವಿಪೂರ್ವ ಕಾಲೇಜಿನ ಪ್ರಾಂಶುಪಾಲ ಪ್ರೊಫೆಸರ್ ಉರ್ಬನ್ ಡಿಸೋಜ ಮಾತನಾಡಿ, ಹಳೆಯ ಸಾಹಿತ್ಯದ ಡಿಜಿಟಲ್ ಅವತರಣಿಕೆ ಈಗಿನ ಪೀಳಿಗೆಯ ಸಾಹಿತಿ,ಸಂಗೀತಗಾರರು ತರಬೇಕು.ರೀಮಿಕ್ಸ್ ಇಂದು ನಡೆಯುತ್ತದೆ. ಡಿಜಿಟಲ್ ಗ್ರಂಥಾಲಯಗಳ ಅವಶ್ಯಕತೆ ಯೂ ಇದೆ ಎಂದರು.
ಕೊಂಕಣಿ ಕುಟಮ್ ಇದರ ಪರವಾಗಿ ನಿತಿನ್ ಡಿಸೋಜ ಸ್ವಾಗತಿಸಿ ರೋಹಿತ್ ಡಿಸೋಜ ವಂದಿಸಿದರು ನೀತ ಡಿಸೋಜ ನಿರೂಪಿಸಿದರು ಜೆನೆಟ್ ವಾಸ್ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮ ಸಂಯೋಜನೆ ಮಾಡಿದರು.
ಪ್ರಾರ್ಥನೆಯನ್ನು ಪ್ರೆಸಿಲ್ಲಾ ಪಿಂಟೊ, ಪ್ರಾರ್ಥನಾ ನೃತ್ಯ ಅಲಿನಾ ಮತ್ತು ಅಲಿಶಾ ಡಿಸೋಜ ಪ್ರದರ್ಶಿಸಿದರು ನಂತರ ನಡೆದ ಸಾಂಸ್ಕೃತಿಕ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮಗಳನ್ನು ಪದ್ಯ ಸಿಯಾನಾ ಕಾರ್ಡೋಜಾ, ನೃತ್ಯ ಪದ್ಯ ಫಿಯೊನಾ ಮತ್ತು ಅಯೊನಾ ಅಲ್ಮೇಡಾ, ಹುಮಿಣೊ ಜೆಸಿಂತ ಲೋಬೊ, ಕವಿತಾ ವಾಚನ್ ಪ್ರೆಸಿಲ್ಲಾ, ಪದ್ಯ ಈಥನ್ ಪ್ರದರ್ಶನ ಮಾಡಿದರು.
ಗುಮ್ಟಾಂ ಸಾಂಪ್ರದಾಯಿಕ ಗಾಯನವನ್ನು ಶರಣ್ ರೇಗೊ ಮತ್ತು ಅನು ಡಿಸೋಜ ಮತ್ತು ಪಂಗಡ ಸಾಧರಪಡಿಸಿಸರು.
ನೃತ್ಯ ಮಿಶೆಲ್ ಮತ್ತು ಮೆಲಿಟಾ ಡಿಸೋಜ ಪ್ರಸ್ತುತ ಪಡಿಸಿದರು. ಜೆನೆಟ್ ವಾಸ್ ಕಥೆ ಹೇಳಿದರು.

ಸಂಗೀತ ಮೆಡ್ಲಿ ಡಿಸೋಜ ಕುಟುಂಬದವರು ಅನ್ಸನ್, ಆನ್ನ್, ಅಲೆಕ್, ನೀತ, ರೋಹಿತ್, ನಿತಿನ್, ಜೆನೆಟ್ ಪ್ರಸ್ತುತ ಪಡಿಸಿದರು.
ಹಾಡುಗಳನ್ನು ವಿಪಿನ್ ಡಿಸೋಜ, ವಬಾಬ್ವಿಯಾನ್ ಶೈನಿ , ಅನೋರಾ ಡಿಸೋಜ ಪ್ರಸ್ತುತ ಪಡಿಸಿದರು
ಸಾಂಪ್ರದಾಯಿಕ ವೊವ್ಯೊ ವೇರ್ಸ್ ಅನ್ನು ಲವಿನಾ ಫೆರ್ನಾಂಡೆಸ್, ಡಿಂಪಲ್ ಪಾಯ್ಸ್, ಐಡಾ ಪಿಂಟೊ, ಜೆಸ್ಸಿ ಲೋಬೊ, ಜೆನೆಟ್ ವಾಸ್ ಮತ್ತು ನವೀನ್ ಪಿಂಟೊ, ರೊಲ್ಫಿ ಪಿಂಟೊ ಸಾಧರ ಪಡಿಸಿದರು.
ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮ ಸಂಯೋಜನೆಗೆ ಶ್ವೇತಾ ಡಿಸೋಜ, ಮೀರ ಡಿಸೋಜ, ಆಂಟನಿ ಡಿಸೋಜ, ಡಾಯ್ನೆಟ್ ಕಾರ್ಡೋಜ, ಫೆಲಿಕ್ಸ್ ವಾಸ್ ಮತ್ತು ಫಾತಿಮಾ ಕೊಂಕಣಿ ಕುಟಾಮ್ ಸಹಕರಿಸಿದರು.
Konkani is a Rich, Divine Language of Multiple Scripts and Dialects: Raymond D’Cunha Taccode
Konkani is not a language confined to a single script or spoken by people belonging to a single religion. Konkani-speaking communities have preserved their linguistic identity wherever they have settled by making significant contributions to literature in the respective regional languages. This has helped Konkani continue to grow and establish itself at the global level, making it a language that can never die, said Raymond D’Cunha Taccode.
He was speaking after inaugurating, by lighting the traditional lamp, a joint programme organised by Konkani Bhasha Mandal Karnataka and Konkani Kutam Jalahalli at the Srirama Sameeksha Club House auditorium in Kuvempunagar, Jalahalli, Bengaluru, to commemorate 35 years of Konkani receiving recognition under the Eighth Schedule of the Constitution of India.
Raymond D’Cunha Taccode.emphasised that Konkani is a divine language. Expressions such as “Dev Borem Korum” and “Dev Boro Dis Dinv” invoke God while conveying good wishes. He also pointed out that Konkani is the only language that refers to the nationally recognised Hindi as the Devanagari script, deriving its name from Dev (God).
Presiding over the programme, Prof. Urban D’Souza, Principal of St. Benedict Pre-University College, said that the older literary works of Konkani should be digitally preserved and made available to the present generation of writers and musicians. He stressed the need for digital libraries, noting that remixing and adapting older works is already a growing practice today.
On behalf of Konkani Kutam, Nitin D’Souza welcomed the gathering, Rohit D’Souza proposed the vote of thanks, Neeta D’Souza compered the programme, and Janet Vas coordinated the event.
The programme began with a prayer by Precilla Pinto, followed by a prayer dance performed by Alina and Alisha D’Souza.
The cultural programme featured a poem by Siyana Cardoza, a dance-poem performance by Fiona and Ayona Almeida, a Huminno by Jacinta Lobo, poetry recitation by Precilla, and a poem presented by Ethan.
Traditional Ghumta singing was presented by Sharan Rego and Anu D’Souza, along with members of the group. Michelle and Melita D’Souza presented a dance, while Jeanette Vass narrated a story.
Raymond D’Cunha Taccode entertained the audience with his poetry.
A musical medley was presented by members of the D’Souza family — Anson, Ann, Alek, Neeta, Rohit, Nitin and Janet. Songs were performed by Vipin D’Souza, Vababbian Shiny and Anora D’Souza.
Traditional Voviyo verses were presented by Lavina Fernandes, Dimple Poyes, Ida Pinto, Jessie Lobo, Janet Vass, Naveen Pinto and Rolfy Pinto.
Shweta D’Souza, Meera D’Souza, Antony D’Souza, Doynet Cardoza, Felix Vas and Fatima extended their support in coordinating the programme on behalf of Konkani Kutam.
