ಕುಂದಾಪುರ: ಸ್ಥಳೀಯ UBMC & CSI ಕೃಪಾ ಆಂಗ್ಲ ಮಾಧ್ಯಮ ಶಾಲೆಯಲ್ಲಿ 21 ಜೂನ್, 2024 ರಂದು ಹತ್ತನೇ ಅಂತರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೀಯ ಯೋಗ ದಿನಾಚರಣೆಯನ್ನು ಸಂಭ್ರಮದಿಂದ ಆಚರಿಸಲಾಯಿತು.
ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮವು ಆವಾಹನೆಯೊಂದಿಗೆ ಪ್ರಾರಂಭವಾಯಿತು. ಸಹಾಯಕ ಶಿಕ್ಷಕಿ ಹಾಗೂ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮ ಸಂಯೋಜಕಿ ಶ್ರೀಮತಿ ಸವಿತಾ ಸ್ವಾಗತಿಸಿದರು. ಉದ್ಘಾಟನಾ ಸಮಾರಂಭದಲ್ಲಿ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳೊಂದಿಗೆ ಗಣ್ಯರು ದೀಪ ಬೆಳಗಿಸಿದರು.ಸಂಪನ್ಮೂಲ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಿಗಳಾದ ಶ್ರೀಮತಿ ಲತಾ ಮತ್ತು ಶ್ರೀಮತಿ ವೀಣಾ, ಯೋಗ ತರಬೇತುದಾರರು ಪ್ರತಿ ಆಸನದ ವಿವರವಾದ ವಿವರಣೆಯನ್ನು ನೀಡಿದರು ಮತ್ತು ತೆಗೆದು ಕೊಳ್ಳಬೇಕಾದ ಮುನ್ನೆಚ್ಚರಿಕೆಗಳ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಮಾರ್ಗದರ್ಶನ ನೀಡಿದರು. ಯೋಗಾಸನವು ಯೋಗ ಪ್ರಾರ್ಥನೆ, ವಾರ್ಮಿಂಗ್ ಮತ್ತು ಉಸಿರಾಟದ ವ್ಯಾಯಾಮಗಳೊಂದಿಗೆ ಪ್ರಾರಂಭವಾಯಿತು. ಅದರ ನಂತರ ನಿಲ್ಲುವುದು, ಬಾಗುವುದು, ಚಾಚುವುದು, ಸಮತೋಲನ ಮಾಡುವುದು ಮತ್ತು ಕುಳಿತುಕೊಳ್ಳುವ ಆಸನಗಳು. ಸ್ಕೌಟ್ ಶಿಕ್ಷಕಿ ಮತ್ತು ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮ ಸಂಯೋಜಕಿ ಶ್ರೀಮತಿ ಸವಿತಾ ಮತ್ತು ಶಿಕ್ಷಕ ವೃಂದದ ಮೇಲ್ವಿಚಾರಣೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಸಂಪನ್ಮೂಲ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಿಗಳು ವಿವಿಧ ಆಸನಗಳ ಮೂಲಕ ವಿವಿಧ ಆಸನಗಳ ಮಹತ್ವವನ್ನು ವಿವರಿಸಿದರು.
ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮವು ಒಂದೂವರೆ ಗಂಟೆಗೂ ಹೆಚ್ಚು ಕಾಲ ನೆಡೆಯಿತು, ಹಾಜರಿದ್ದವರಬರಲ್ಲರು ಸಕ್ರಿಯ ಭಾಗವಹಿಸುವಿಕೆಗೆ ಸಾಕ್ಷಿಯಾಯಿತು.
ಪ್ರಾಂಶುಪಾಲರಾದ ಅನಿತಾ ಆಲಿಸ್ ಡಿಸೋಜಾ ತಮ್ಮ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷೀಯ ಭಾಷಣದಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರಾಚೀನ ಭಾರತೀಯ ಆಚರಣೆಗಳ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಜಾಗೃತಿ ಮೂಡಿಸಿದರು ಮತ್ತು ಯೋಗವು ಜಗತ್ತಿಗೆ ತಂದ ದೈಹಿಕ ಮತ್ತು ಆಧ್ಯಾತ್ಮಿಕ ಪರಾಕ್ರಮವನ್ನು ಆಚರಿಸಲು. ಯೋಗವು ಮನಸ್ಸು ಮತ್ತು ದೇಹವನ್ನು ವಿಶ್ರಾಂತಿ ಮಾಡಲು ಮತ್ತು ಜನರ ರೋಗನಿರೋಧಕ ಶಕ್ತಿಯನ್ನು ಹೆಚ್ಚಿಸಲು ಪ್ರಮುಖ ಪಾತ್ರವನ್ನು ವಹಿಸುವ ಅಭ್ಯಾಸವಾಗಿದೆ.ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮವನ್ನು ಸಹಾಯಕ ಶಿಕ್ಷಕಿ ಶ್ರೀಮತಿ ಪವಿತ್ರಾ ನಿರೂಪಿಸಿದರು.
ಕೆಜಿ ವಿಭಾಗದ ಮುಖ್ಯೋಪಾಧ್ಯಾಯಿನಿ ಸವಿತಾ ಅವರ ವಂದನಾರ್ಪಣೆಯೊಂದಿಗೆ ಸಂಭ್ರಮಾಚರಣೆ ಮುಕ್ತಾಯವಾಯಿತು.
UBMC & CSI Krupa English Medium School, Kundapura, celebrated the tenth International Yoga Day with great enthusiasm.
The event commenced with an invocation. Mrs. Savitha , Asst.Teacher and Programme coordinator welcomed the gathering.
The dignitaries along with a student joined in the lighting of lamp at the Inaugural Ceremony.
The Resource Persons, Mrs.Latha and Mrs. Veena , the yoga instructors provided a detailed explanation of each pose and offered guidance on precautions to be taken.
The Yogasana started with yoga prayer, warming up and breathing exercises. It was followed by standing , bending, stretching , balancing and sitting asanas.
The Resource persons with the supervision of Scout teacher and Programme Coordinator, Mrs.Savitha and the teaching faculty guided through various asanas explaining the significance of various asanas.
The session lasted over one and half hour witnessing active participation from all attendees.
The Princioal in her Presidential Address raised the awareness about the ancient Indian practices and to celebrate the physical and spiritual prowess that Yoga has brought to the world. Yoga is a practice that plays important role in relaxing the mind and body and boosting people’s immune system.
The celebration concluded with a vote of thanks by Mrs.Savitha , Headmistress of the KG section.
The event’s success can be attributed to the collective efforts of the faculty under the guidance of the programme coordinator and the Principal. The event was anchored by Mrs.Pavithra , Asst.Teacher.
