ಕುಂಬಕೋಣಂ, ಮೇ 17, 2025: ತಂಜಾವೂರು ಜಿಲ್ಲೆಯ ಕುಂಬಕೋಣಂನ ಮೇಲಕವೇರಿ ಗ್ರಾಮದ ಪೆರುಮಂಡಿ ಉತ್ತರ ಬೀದಿಯ ನಿವಾಸಿ ಶ್ರೀ ಗಿರಿ ಅವರು ಆರು ತಿಂಗಳು ನಾಪತ್ತೆಯಾಗಿದ್ದ ನಂತರ, ಮೇ 15, 2025 ರಂದು ತಮ್ಮ ಕುಟುಂಬದೊಂದಿಗೆ ಅತೀ ಸಂತೋಷದಿಂದ ಪುನರ್ಮಿಲನಗೊಂಡರು. ಕಾಸರಗೋಡಿನ ಮಂಜೇಶ್ವರದ ಸ್ನೇಹಾಲಯ ಚಾರಿಟೇಬಲ್ ಟ್ರಸ್ಟ್ನ ಸಹಾಯದಿಂದ ನಡೆದ ಈ ಪುನರ್ಮಿಲನವು ಅವರ ತಂದೆ, ತಾಯಿ ಮತ್ತು ಇಬ್ಬರು ಸಹೋದರಿಯರಿಗೆ ಅಪಾರ ಆನಂದ ತಂದಿತು.

The Joyous Reunion of Mr. Giri with Family in Tamil Nadu Kumbakonam
May 17, 2025: In a heartwarming moment, Mr. Giri, a resident of Perumandi North Street, Melkavaeri village in Kumbakonam, Tanjavur district, was happily reunited with his family on May 15, 2025, after being missing for six months. The reunion, facilitated by Snehalaya Charitable Trust, Kasargod, brought immense joy to his father, mother, and two sisters.
Mr. Giri, who is single, had been struggling with mental health issues for the past two years. Despite receiving treatment, his condition did not improve as he was not taking his prescribed medicines. This was not the first time he went missing; he had disappeared once before. On March 22, 2025, Mr. Giri was admitted to Snehalaya Charitable Trust. Thanks to the efforts of Eshwar Malpe, popularly known as Aqua Man, a self-taught underwater searcher and the Proud Son of Karnataka, who played a key role in admitting Mr. Giri to Snehalaya Charitable Trust. After the comprehensive treatment Mr. Giri was later shifted to Shraddha Foundation on April 11, 2025, for care and support. After weeks of dedicated efforts, the trust successfully reunited Mr. Giri with his family.
His father, a painter, and their poor family were thrilled when he returned. The villagers and neighbors in Melkavaeri joined the celebration, warmly welcoming Mr. Giri. To help him recover, Mr. Giri received two months of medicines for aftercare. The community’s response was very positive, showing the village’s unity and kindness. This reunion highlights the hard work of Snehalaya Charitable Trust, which has reunited over 1,600 people across the country.
