Kundapur,August 23: The inauguration of orientation programme for the first year students
“Deeksharamba” was held at IMJ Institute of Science & Commerce, Moodlakatte, Kundapur.
“Parents always wish for their child’s overall development and each child should be adequately educated to realize his/her special strengths.
Also, to learn, students should first have diligence and interest.
Only then, they can reach their goal.” said the chief guest,Mr. CA Muralidhara Kini, Practicing Chartered Accountant, Manipal.
Speaking on the occasion, the guest of honour , Professor Ramakrishna B G, Principal of Government P U College, Kundapur said “With the mission of preserving our rich heritage, IMJ institute of Science& Commerce is an institution that has a very conducive environment for pursuing education.” He also said that only marks do not define our life, there is a need for qualitative education.
Dr. Pratibha M Patel ,Principal of IMJISC ,presided over the programme and opined, “Education is needed to make one’s life more meaningful. Life becomes a success only when you try and find answers to the queries that arise in your minds about life’s layout . A student should keep the mission of learning alive in him/her while prioritising their lives with values.”
She also emphasised The call of the hour is that youth of today should develop an eye to differentiate between right and wrong.”
Vice Principal Prof.Jaysheel Kumar,Head of BCA Department Swarna Rani were present on the occasion.
The Programme was conducted by Prof. Sumana, Head of Kannada Department. Prof.Pavana of English department introduced the dignitaries.
