ಸಂತೆಕಟ್ಟೆ, ಮೇ 4, 2025: ಬೆಳಿಗ್ಗೆ 8:00 ಗಂಟೆಗೆ ನಡೆದ ಗಂಭೀರವಾದ ಯೂಕರಿಸ್ಟಿಕ್ ಆಚರಣೆಯ ಸಂದರ್ಭದಲ್ಲಿ ಹತ್ತು ಆಕರ್ಷಕ ಮಕ್ಕಳು ತಮ್ಮ ಮೊದಲ ಪವಿತ್ರ ಕಮ್ಯುನಿಯನ್ ಸ್ವೀಕರಿಸಿದಾಗ ಕಲ್ಯಾಣಪುರದ ಸಂತೆಕಟ್ಟೆಯ ಮೌಂಟ್ ರೋಸರಿ ಚರ್ಚ್‌ನಲ್ಲಿ ಸಂತೋಷ ಮತ್ತು ಭಕ್ತಿಯ ಚೈತನ್ಯ ತುಂಬಿತು. ಈ ಸ್ಮರಣೀಯ ಮತ್ತು ಆಧ್ಯಾತ್ಮಿಕವಾಗಿ ಮಹತ್ವದ ದಿನವನ್ನು ಯುವ ಸಂವಹನಕಾರರು ಮತ್ತು ಅವರ ಕುಟುಂಬಗಳ ಹೃದಯಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಶಾಶ್ವತವಾಗಿ ಕೆತ್ತಲಾಗುತ್ತದೆ.
ಪವಿತ್ರ ಬಲಿದಾನವನ್ನು ಪ್ಯಾರಿಷ್ ಪಾದರ್ ರೆವರೆಂಡ್ ಡಾ. ರೋಕ್ ಡಿ’ಸೋಜಾ ಅವರು ಆಚರಿಸಿದರು, ಸಹಾಯಕ ಪ್ಯಾರಿಷ್ ಫಾದರ್ ರೆವರೆಂಡ್ ಫಾದರ್ ಆಲಿವರ್ ನಜರೆತ್ ಅವರು ಆತ್ಮವನ್ನು ಕಲಕುವ ಧರ್ಮೋಪದೇಶವನ್ನು ನೀಡಿದರು. ಹದಿಹರೆಯದ ಸಂತ ಕಾರ್ಲೊ ಅಕ್ಯುಟಿಸ್ ಮತ್ತು ಮಹಾನ್ ಮಿಲಿಟರಿ ಜನರಲ್ ನೆಪೋಲಿಯನ್ ಬೊನಪಾರ್ಟೆ ಅವರಂತಹ ಸಂತರು ಮತ್ತು ಐತಿಹಾಸಿಕ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಿಗಳಿಂದ ಸ್ಫೂರ್ತಿ ಪಡೆದ ಫಾದರ್ ಆಲಿವರ್, ಮಕ್ಕಳು ತಮ್ಮ ಕ್ರಿಶ್ಚಿಯನ್ ಪ್ರಯಾಣವನ್ನು ಧೈರ್ಯ, ನಂಬಿಕೆ ಮತ್ತು ಜವಾಬ್ದಾರಿಯೊಂದಿಗೆ ಸ್ವೀಕರಿಸಲು ಪ್ರೋತ್ಸಾಹಿಸಿದರು.
ದೇವದೂತರ ಬಿಳಿ ಉಡುಪನ್ನು ಧರಿಸಿ, ಮೊದಲ ಪರಮ ಪ್ರಸಾದ ಸ್ವೀಕರಿಸುವ ಮಕ್ಕಳು, ಸಿಸ್ಟರ್ ಆನ್ಸಿಲ್ಲಾ ಡಿ’ಮೆಲ್ಲೊ ಮತ್ತು ಸಮರ್ಪಿತ ಕ್ರೈಸ್ತ ಶಿಕ್ಷಣ ಶಿಕ್ಷಕರ ಮಾರ್ಗದರ್ಶನದಲ್ಲಿ ಸಿದ್ಧಪಡಿಸಲಾದ ಪ್ರಾರ್ಥನೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಸಕ್ರಿಯವಾಗಿ ಭಾಗವಹಿಸಿದರು. ಅವರ ಪೂಜ್ಯ ವರ್ತನೆ ಮತ್ತು ಪ್ರಾರ್ಥನಾಪೂರ್ವಕ ಒಳಗೊಳ್ಳುವಿಕೆ ಆಚರಣೆಗೆ ಅನುಗ್ರಹ ಮತ್ತು ಅರ್ಥವನ್ನು ಸೇರಿಸಿತು.
ಗಾಯಕವೃಂದ, ಪೋಷಕರು ಮತ್ತು ಕುಟುಂಬ ಸದಸ್ಯರು ಸೇರಿದಂತೆ ಇಡೀ ಪ್ಯಾರಿಷ್ ಸಮುದಾಯವು ಸಂತೋಷದಾಯಕ ಸಾಮರಸ್ಯದಿಂದ ಒಟ್ಟುಗೂಡಿತು, ಚರ್ಚ್‌ನಲ್ಲಿ ಹಬ್ಬದ ಮತ್ತು ಆಧ್ಯಾತ್ಮಿಕವಾಗಿ ಉನ್ನತಿಗೇರಿಸುವ ವಾತಾವರಣವನ್ನು ಸೃಷ್ಟಿಸಿತು.
ಬಲಿದಾನದ ಕೊನೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಈ ಹೃದಯಸ್ಪರ್ಶಿ ಕ್ಷಣದಲ್ಲಿ, ರೆವರೆಂಡ್ ಡಾ. ರೋಕ್ ಡಿ’ಸೋಜಾ ಹತ್ತು ‘ಪುಟ್ಟ ದೇವತೆಗಳನ್ನು’ ಅಭಿನಂದಿಸಿದರು ಮತ್ತು ಅವರಿಗೆ ಆಶೀರ್ವದಿಸಿದ ರೋಸರಿಗಳು, ಮೌಂಟ್ ಕಾರ್ಮೆಲ್‌ನ ಸ್ಕ್ಯಾಪುಲರ್‌ಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ಮೊದಲ ಪವಿತ್ರ ಕಮ್ಯುನಿಯನ್ ಪ್ರಮಾಣಪತ್ರಗಳನ್ನು ನೀಡಿದರು. ಅವರು ಈಗ ಅವರು ಹೊಂದಿರುವ ಪವಿತ್ರ ಜವಾಬ್ದಾರಿಯನ್ನು ಪ್ರೀತಿಯಿಂದ ನೆನಪಿಸಿದರು – ನಂಬಿಕೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಬೆಳೆಯಲು ಮತ್ತು ನಿಜವಾದ ಕ್ರಿಶ್ಚಿಯನ್ ಜೀವನವನ್ನು ನಡೆಸಲು.
ವಾಸ್ತವವಾಗಿ, ಮೇ 4, 2025, ಈ ಹತ್ತು ಮಕ್ಕಳು ಮತ್ತು ಮೌಂಟ್ ರೋಸರಿ ಪ್ಯಾರಿಷ್ ಕುಟುಂಬಕ್ಕೆ ಅನುಗ್ರಹ, ಏಕತೆ ಮತ್ತು ಹೊಸ ಆರಂಭದ ದಿನವಾಗಿ ಸ್ಮರಿಸಲಾಗುತ್ತದೆ.
Ten children from Mount Rosary Church received their first Holy Communion
Santhekatte, May 4, 2025:A spirit of joy and devotion filled Mount Rosary Church, Santhekatte, Kallianpur, as ten graceful children received their First Holy Communion during a solemn Eucharistic celebration at 8:00 a.m. This memorable and spiritually significant day will forever be etched in the hearts of the young communicants and their families.
The Holy Mass was celebrated by the Parish Priest, Rev. Dr. Roque D’Souza, with Rev. Fr. Oliver Nazareth, Assistant Parish Priest, delivering a soul-stirring homily. Drawing inspiration from saints and historical figures like teenager Saint Carlo Acutis and a great Military General Napoleon Bonaparte, Fr. Oliver encouraged the children to embrace their Christian journey with courage, faith, and responsibility.
Clad in angelic white attire, the First Communicants actively participated in the liturgy, beautifully prepared under the guidance of Sr. Ancilla D’Mello and dedicated catechism teachers. Their reverent demeanor and prayerful involvement added grace and meaning to the celebration.
The entire parish community, including the Choir, parents, and family members, came together in joyful harmony, creating a festive and spiritually uplifting atmosphere in the church.
In a touching moment at the end of the Mass, Rev. Dr. Roque D’Souza congratulated the ten ‘little angels’ and presented them with blessed Rosaries, Scapulars of Mount Carmel, and Certificates of First Holy Communion. He lovingly reminded them of the sacred responsibility they now bear — to grow in faith and lead an authentic Christian life.
Indeed, May 4, 2025, will be remembered as a day of grace, unity, and new beginnings for these ten children and the Mount Rosary parish family.
