ಬೆಂಗಳೂರು, ಫೆಬ್ರವರಿ 13, 2025: “ಸಾಮಾನ್ಯರ ಹೆಚ್ಚಿನ ಭಾಗವಹಿಸುವಿಕೆಯೊಂದಿಗೆ ಸಿನೊಡಲ್ ಚರ್ಚ್ ಈಗಿನ ಅಗತ್ಯ” ಎಂದು ಬೆಂಗಳೂರಿನ ಸುಬೋಧನ ಪ್ಯಾಸ್ಟೋರಲ್ ಸೆಂಟರ್‌ನಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆದ ಘೋಷಣೆ ಆಯೋಗದ ಪರಿಶೀಲನಾ ಸಭೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಬಿಷಪ್ ರಾಬರ್ಟ್ ಎಂ. ಮಿರಾಂಡಾ ಒತ್ತಿ ಹೇಳಿದರು. ಸುವಾರ್ತಾಬೋಧನೆಯ ಹೊಸ ಮಾರ್ಗಗಳನ್ನು ಕಂಡುಹಿಡಿಯಲು ನಿರ್ಧಾರ ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಳ್ಳುವಲ್ಲಿ ಸಾಮಾನ್ಯ ಜನರನ್ನು ಸಕ್ರಿಯವಾಗಿ ಸಮಾಲೋಚಿಸುವ ಮೂಲಕ ವರ್ತನೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಬದಲಾವಣೆಯನ್ನು ಬೆಳೆಸಬೇಕೆಂದು ಅವರು ಚರ್ಚ್ ನಾಯಕರನ್ನು ಒತ್ತಾಯಿಸಿದರು. ಅವರ ಪ್ರಕಾರ, ಚರ್ಚ್‌ನ ಧ್ಯೇಯ ಮತ್ತು ಪ್ರಭಾವಕ್ಕೆ ಸಾಮಾನ್ಯರ ಹೆಚ್ಚಿನ ಒಳಗೊಳ್ಳುವಿಕೆ ಅತ್ಯಗತ್ಯ.
ಸಭೆಯ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷತೆಯನ್ನು ಬಿಷಪ್ ರಾಬರ್ಟ್ ವಹಿಸಿದ್ದರು ಮತ್ತು KRPPIC ನ ಸಂಯೋಜಕರಾದ ಫಾದರ್ ಅನಿಲ್ ಜೋಯಲ್ ಪ್ರಸಾದ್ ಮತ್ತು ಪ್ರಾದೇಶಿಕ ಕಾರ್ಯದರ್ಶಿ ಫಾದರ್ ಮ್ಯಾಕ್ಸಿಮ್ ಡಯಾಸ್ ಸೇರಿದಂತೆ ಡಯೋಸಿಸನ್ ಕಾರ್ಯದರ್ಶಿಗಳು ಭಾಗವಹಿಸಿದ್ದರು. ಅಧಿವೇಶನದಲ್ಲಿ, ಡಯೋಸಿಸನ್ ಕಾರ್ಯದರ್ಶಿಗಳು ತಮ್ಮ ಪಾಸ್ಟೋರಲ್ ಚಟುವಟಿಕೆಗಳ ಕುರಿತು ವರದಿಗಳನ್ನು ಮಂಡಿಸಿದರು. ಪ್ರಾದೇಶಿಕ ಪಾಸ್ಟೋರಲ್ ಯೋಜನೆಯನ್ನು ಪ್ರಸಾರ ಮಾಡಲಾಯಿತು ಮತ್ತು 2025 ರ ವಾರ್ಷಿಕ ಯೋಜನೆಯನ್ನು ಪ್ರಸ್ತುತಪಡಿಸಲಾಯಿತು ಮತ್ತು ಸರ್ವಾನುಮತದಿಂದ ಅಂಗೀಕರಿಸಲಾಯಿತು.
ಘೋಷಣೆ ಆಯೋಗವು ಈ ಪ್ರದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿ ಸುವಾರ್ತಾ ಪ್ರಚಾರ ಮತ್ತು ಗ್ರಾಮೀಣ ಪ್ರಚಾರವನ್ನು ಉತ್ತೇಜಿಸುವ ಗುರಿಯನ್ನು ಹೊಂದಿದೆ ಮತ್ತು ಈ ಸಭೆಯು ಅದರ ಧ್ಯೇಯವನ್ನು ಮುಂದುವರಿಸುವಲ್ಲಿ ಮಹತ್ವದ ಹೆಜ್ಜೆಯನ್ನು ಗುರುತಿಸಿತು.
Synodal Church with Greater Lay Participation is the Need of the Hour” – Bishop Robert
Bangalore, February 13, 2025: “A Synodal Church with greater lay participation is the need of the hour,” emphasized Bishop Robert M. Miranda at the Proclamation Commission Review Meeting held at Subodhana Pastoral Centre, Bangalore. He urged Church leaders to foster a change in attitude by actively consulting laypeople in decision-making to discover new paths of evangelization. According to him, greater involvement of the laity is essential for the Church’s mission and outreach.
The meeting was chaired by Bishop Robert and attended by diocesan secretaries, including Fr. Anil Joel Prasad, Coordinator of KRPPIC, and Fr. Maxim Dias, Regional Secretary. During the session, diocesan secretaries presented reports on their pastoral activities. The Regional Pastoral Plan was disseminated, and the Year Plan 2025 was presented and unanimously approved.
The Proclamation Commission aims to promote evangelization and pastoral outreach in the region, and the meeting marked a significant step in advancing its mission.
