ನೆಲ್ಲೂರು: ತಮ್ಮ ತವರೂರು ಕುಂದಾಪುರ ಪಡುಕೋಣೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಕಲಿತು MA, Bed ಪದವಿ ಪಡೆದು, ದೈವಿಕ ಗುರುವಿನ ಧರ್ಮನಿಷ್ಠ ಶಿಷ್ಯರ ಸಭೆಯಿಂದ (Pious Disciples of the Divine Master) ಭಗಿನಿಯ ದೀಕ್ಷೆ ಪಡೆದು, ಆಂದ್ರದ ನೆಲ್ಲೂರಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಸೇಂಟ್ ಜಾನ್ಸ್ ಆಂಗ್ಲ (Play School to High school) ಮಾಧ್ಯಮ ಪ್ರೌಢಶಾಲೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಮುಖ್ಯೋಪಾಧ್ಯಾಯಿನಿಯಾಗಿ ಸೇವೆ ಸಲ್ಲಿಸುತ್ತೀರುವ ಶಿಕ್ಷಕಿ ಭಗಿನಿ ಶಾಂತಿ ಪ್ರಿಯಾ ಲೂಯಿಸ್ ಇವರು ಅನುದಾನ ರಹಿತ ಶಾಲಾ ನಿರ್ವಹಣ ಸಂಘದಿಂದ (APPUSMA) (Andhra Pradesh Private Unaided School Management Association) ಅತ್ಯುತ್ತಮ ಮುಖ್ಯೋಪಾಧ್ಯಾಯರ ಪ್ರಶಸ್ತಿಗೆ ಭಾಜನರಾಗಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
ಭಗಿನಿ ಶಾಂತಿ ಪ್ರಿಯಾ ಲೂಯಿಸ್ ಇವರು ಮೂಲತಹ ಕುಂದಾಪುರ ಸಮೀಪದ ತ್ರಾಸಿಯ ದೇವಳ್ಳಿಯವರಾಗಿದ್ದು, ಇವರು ಪಡುಕೋಣೆ ಸಂತ ಅಂತೋನಿ ಚರ್ಚಿನವರಾಗಿದ್ದಾರೆ, ಇವರು ತಮ್ಮ ಶಿಕ್ಷಣವನ್ನು ಮೋವಾಡಿ ಸರ್ಕಾರಿ ಪ್ರಾಥಮಿಕ ಶಾಲೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಮುಗಿಸಿ, ಕುಂದಾಪುರ ಸಂತ ಜೋಸೆಫ್ ಬಾಲಕಿಯರ ಪ್ರೌಢಶಾಲೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಕಲಿತು, ಮುಂದೆ, ಕುಂದಾಪುರ ಸರಕಾರಿ ಜೂನಿಯರ್ ಕಾಲೇಜು ಪಿಯುಸಿ ನ್ನು ಓದಿದರು. ನಂತರ ಮುಂಬಯಿಯ ಸೇಂಟ್ ಆಂಡ್ರ್ಯೂಸ್ ಕಾಲೇಜಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಪದವಿ ಪಡೆದು, ನಾರಾಯಣ ಶಿಕ್ಷಣ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಬಿ ಎಡ್ ತರಬೇತಿಯನ್ನು ಪಡೆದರು.
ತಮ್ಮ ಶಿಕ್ಷಣ ಜೀವನ ಮತ್ತು ಧಾರ್ಮಿಕ ಜೀವನವನ್ನು ಆಂದ್ರದ ನೆಲ್ಲೂರಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಆರಂಭಿಸಿದರು. 20 ವರ್ಷದ ಶಿಕ್ಷಕ – ಭಗಿನಿಯ ಜೀವನ ಸಾರಿದ ಇವರು ನೆಲ್ಲೂರಿನ ಅನುದಾನ ರಹಿತ 170 ಶಾಲೆಗಳ ಮಧ್ಯೆ ಇವರಿಗೆ ನೆಲ್ಲೂರಿನ ಅನುದಾನ ರಹಿತ ಶಾಲಾ ನಿರ್ವಹಣ ಸಂಘದಿಂದ ಅತ್ಯುತ್ತಮ ಮುಖ್ಯೋಪಾಧ್ಯಾಯರ ಪ್ರಶಸ್ತಿಗೆ ಆಯ್ಕೆಯಾಗಿ ಸೆಪ್ಟೆಂಬರ್ 5, 2023 ರಂದು ನೆಲ್ಲೂರು ಶಾಸಕ ಡಾ.ಅನಿಲ್ ಕುಮಾರ್ ಯಾದವ್ ಅವರ ಸಮ್ಮುಖದಲ್ಲಿ ಈ ಪ್ರಶಸ್ತಿಯನ್ನು ಪಡೆದುಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
ಇವರನ್ನು ಇವರ ಸಭೆಯ (PDDM) ಪ್ರಾಂತೀಯ ಸುಪೀರಿಯರ್, ಮದರ್ ಜನರಲ್, ಸಭೆಯ ಸಹೋದರಿಯರು, ಪೋಷಕರು ಅಭಿನಂದಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ. “ನನ್ನ ಸಾಧನೆಗೆ ಪ್ರಾಂತೀಯ ಸುಪೀರಿಯರ್, ಮದರ್ ಜನರಲ್, ನನ್ನ ಸಭೆಯ ಸಹೋದರಿಯರು, ಪೋಷಕರ ಬೆಂಬಲಕ್ಕೆ, ಭಗಿನಿ ಶಾಂತಿ ಪ್ರಿಯಾ ಧನ್ಯವಾದಗಳನ್ನು ಅರ್ಪಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
Sister Shanhti Priya Lewis, a teacher from Padukone, was awarded the Best Headmistress Award in Nellore, Andhra Pradesh.
Nellore: Sister Shanti Priya Lewis, who studied in her hometown Kundapura Padukone and obtained her MA, Bed degree, received her ordination as a nun from the Pious Disciples of the Divine Master, and serves as the headmistress of St. John’s English Medium High School (Play School to High school) in Nellore, Andhra, is a teacher who runs a non-grant school. Awarded the Best Headmaster Award by APPUSMA (Andhra Pradesh Private Unaided School Management Association).
Sister Shanti Priya Louise, originally from Thrasi Devalli near Kundapur, belongs to Saint Anthony’s Church, Padukone, completed her education at Movadi Government Primary School, studied at Saint Joseph’s Girls’ High School, Kundapur and further, Kundapur Government Junior College, PUC. He then graduated from St. Andrew’s College, Mumbai and received his B.Ed training from Narayana Institute of Education.
He started his educational life and religious life in Nellore, Andhra Pradesh. A 20-year-old teacher – who has lived a life of a sister-in-law, was selected for the best headmaster award by the Nellore Non-Granted School Management Association among 170 non-grant schools in Nellore and received this award in the presence of Nellore MLA Dr. Anil Kumar Yadav on September 5, 2023.
