Second Day of Novena at Stella Maris Church, Kalmady
The nine-day novena prayers in preparation of the proclamation and Dedication of Our Lady of
Vailankanni centre at Kalmady as a diocesan Shrine, began on Saturday, August 6. On the Second
Day of Novena Rev. Fr Royson Fernandes, Editor of Uzvaad, an Udupi Diocesan Newsletter,
conducted the novena prayers on the Second day for the intentions of Youth.
The WhatsApp group by name DISHA (Digital Infohub of Stella Maris Church for Helping All) was
inaugurated by the Rev. Fr Ronson D’Souza, Director, ICYM, Udupi Deanery. The WhatsApp group
was created to give information to the Youth on Scholarship, various courses and Job Openings.
The Parish Priest of Stella Maris Church, Kalmady Rev. Fr Baptist Menezes, Asst Parish Priest
Rev. Fr Roy Lobo, the Convener of the Youth Commission, Kalmady Unit Sri. Sandeep Andrade
was present.
Feast of Our Lady of Vailankanni, proclamation and dedication of Our Lady of Vailanknni as a
diocesan Shrine and the Golden Jubilee Celebration of Stella Maris Church, Kalmady will be
celebrated on August 15 th , 2022.
ಕಲ್ಮಾಡಿ ಚರ್ಚಿನ ಪ್ರತಿಷ್ಠಾಪನಾ ಮಹೋತ್ಸವದ ಎರಡನೇ ದಿನದ ನೊವೆನಾ ಪ್ರಾರ್ಥನೆ
ಕಲ್ಮಾಡಿ ವೆಲಂಕಣಿ ಮಾತೆ ಚರ್ಚಿನ ವಾರ್ಷಿಕ ಪ್ರತಿಷ್ಠಾಪನೆ ಮಹೋತ್ಸವದ ಪ್ರಯುಕ್ತ ಒಂಬತ್ತು ದಿನಗಳ ನೊವೆನಾ
ಪ್ರಾರ್ಥನೆಯು ಶನಿವಾರ ಅಗೋಸ್ಟ್‌ ೬ ರಂದು ಪ್ರಾರಂಭವಾಗಿರುತ್ತದೆ.
ಎರಡನೇ ದಿನವಾದ ನಿನ್ನೆ ಉಡುಪಿ ಧರ್ಮಪ್ರಾಂತ್ಯದ ಪತ್ರಿಕೆ “ಉಜ್ವಾಡ್” ಇದರ ಸಂಪಾದಕರಾಗಿರುವ ವಂ|
ರೊಯ್ಸನ್‌ ಫೆರ್ನಾಂಡಿಸ್ ಅವರು ಯುವಜನರಿಗಾಗಿ ನೊವೆನಾ ಪ್ರಾರ್ಥನೆಯನ್ನು ನಡೆಸಿದರು.
ಈ ಸಂಧರ್ಭದಲ್ಲಿ ಯುವಕರಿಗಾಗಿ “ದಿಶಾ” ಎಂಬ ವಾಟ್ಸ್‌ ಆಪ್‌ ಗ್ರೂಪನ್ನು ಉಡುಪಿ ವಲಯದ ಐಸಿವೈಎಮ್‌ ನ
ನಿರ್ದೇಶಕರಾದ ವಂ| ರೊನ್ಸನ್‌ ಡಿʼಸೋಜಾ ರವರು ಉದ್ಘಾಟಿಸಿದರು. ಇದು ಯುವಕರಿಗೆ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿ ವೇತನ, ವಿವಿಧ
ಕೋರ್ಸ್‌ ಮತ್ತು ಉದ್ಯೋಗಾವಕಾಶಗಳ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಮಾಹಿತಿ ನೀಡಲಿರುವುದು.
ಈ ವೇಳೆ ಚರ್ಚಿನ ಪ್ರಧಾನ ಧರ್ಮಗುರು ವಂ| ಬ್ಯಾಪ್ಟಿಸ್ಟ್ ಮಿನೇಜಸ್, ಸಹಾಯಕ ಧರ್ಮಗುರು ವಂ| ರೋಯ್
ಲೋಬೊ, ಚರ್ಚಿನ ಯುವ ಆಯೋಗದ ಸಂಚಾಲಕರಾದ ಸಂದೀಪ್ ಅಂದ್ರಾದೆ ಉಪಸ್ಥಿತರಿದ್ದರು.
ಕಲ್ಮಾಡಿಯಲ್ಲಿರುವ ವೆಲಂಕಣಿ ಮಾತೆ ಕೇಂದ್ರವನ್ನು ಉಡುಪಿ ಧರ್ಮಪ್ರಾಂತ್ಯದ ಅಧಿಕೃತ ಪುಣ್ಯಕ್ಷೇತ್ರವೆಂದು ಅಗೋಸ್ತ್ 15
ರಂದು ಘೋಷಣೆ ಮಾಡಲಾಗುವುದು ಮತ್ತು ಚರ್ಚಿನ ಸುವರ್ಣ ಮಹೋತ್ಸವ ವರ್ಷದ ಆಚರಣೆಯನ್ನು ಆಯೋಜಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ.
