ಫೆಬ್ರವರಿ 28, 2025 ರಂದು ಹಂಗಾರಕಟ್ಟೆ-ಮಾಬುಕಳದ ಸರ್ಕಾರಿ ಹಿರಿಯ ಪ್ರಾಥಮಿಕ ಶಾಲೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೀಯ ವಿಜ್ಞಾನ ದಿನಾಚರಣೆ ಆಚರಿಸಿತು.
ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೀಯ ವಿಜ್ಞಾನ ದಿನಾಚರಣೆಯ ಸಂದರ್ಭದಲ್ಲಿ, ಹಂಗಾರಕಟ್ಟೆ-ಮಾಬುಕಳದ ಸರ್ಕಾರಿ ಹಿರಿಯ ಪ್ರಾಥಮಿಕ ಶಾಲೆಯು ಫೆಬ್ರವರಿ 28, 2025 ರಂದು ಪ್ರಸಿದ್ಧ ಭೌತಶಾಸ್ತ್ರಜ್ಞ ಮತ್ತು ನೊಬೆಲ್ ಪ್ರಶಸ್ತಿ ವಿಜೇತ ಡಾ. ಸಿ.ವಿ. ರಾಮನ್ ಅವರ ಜನ್ಮ ದಿನಾಚರಣೆಯನ್ನು ಬಹಳ ಉತ್ಸಾಹದಿಂದ ಆಚರಿಸಿತು. ಈ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮವು ಒಂದು ಗಮನಾರ್ಹವಾದ ವಿಜ್ಞಾನ ಪ್ರದರ್ಶನವನ್ನು ಪ್ರದರ್ಶಿಸಿತು, ಇದರಲ್ಲಿ ಯುವ ಮನಸ್ಸುಗಳು ರಚಿಸಿದ ನವೀನ ಮಾದರಿಗಳು ಸೇರಿವೆ, ಇದರಲ್ಲಿ ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೀಯ ಮಟ್ಟದಲ್ಲಿ ಮನ್ನಣೆ ಪಡೆದ ಯೋಜನೆಗಳು, ಒಂದೆಡೆ ಐತಿಹಾಸಿಕ ಕಲಾ ಕರಕುಶಲ ವಸ್ತುಗಳು, ಹಿಂದಿನ ಕಾಲದ ನಾಣ್ಯಗಳು, ಪ್ರಾಚೀನ ಪಾತ್ರೆಗಳು, ಕುಂಬಾರಿಕೆ ಮತ್ತು ಮರದ ಕೆಲಸಗಳು ಇತ್ಯಾದಿ ಸೇರಿವೆ.
ಈ ವರ್ಷ ಭಾರತದಾದ್ಯಂತ 22 ರಾಜ್ಯಗಳಿಂದ 70 ಕ್ಕೂ ಹೆಚ್ಚು ಮೂಲಮಾದರಿ ಆವಿಷ್ಕಾರಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಟಾಪ್ 10 ಮಾದರಿಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿ ಯೋಜನೆಗಳು ಆಯ್ಕೆಯಾಗಿವೆ ಎಂದು ಸತತ ಐದನೇ ಬಾರಿಗೆ ಗುರುತಿಸಲ್ಪಟ್ಟಿದ್ದು ಶಾಲೆಗೆ ಅಪಾರ ಹೆಮ್ಮೆಯ ವಿಷಯವಾಗಿದೆ.
ಪ್ರದರ್ಶನವನ್ನು ಲಯನ್ಸ್ ಕ್ಲಬ್ ಬಾರ್ಕೂರು ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷ ಶ್ರೀ ಶ್ರೀನಿವಾಸ ಶೆಟ್ಟಿ ಅವರು ಔಪಚಾರಿಕವಾಗಿ ಉದ್ಘಾಟಿಸಿದರು, ಅವರು ತಮ್ಮ ಒಳನೋಟವುಳ್ಳ ಭಾಷಣದಲ್ಲಿ ಈ ಗ್ರಾಮೀಣ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಯ ಉದಯೋನ್ಮುಖ ವಿಜ್ಞಾನಿಗಳನ್ನು ಶ್ಲಾಘಿಸಿದರು. ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಕುತೂಹಲ ಮತ್ತು ನಾವೀನ್ಯತೆಯನ್ನು ಬೆಳೆಸುವಲ್ಲಿ ಅಚಲವಾದ ಸಮರ್ಪಣೆಗಾಗಿ ಮುಖ್ಯೋಪಾಧ್ಯಾಯಿನಿ ಶ್ರೀಮತಿ ಪ್ರಿಸ್ಸಿಲ್ಲಾ ಮಟ್ಟಿಲ್ಡಾ ನೊರೊನ್ಹಾ, ಶ್ರೀಮತಿ ಯಶೋದಾ, ಶ್ರೀಮತಿ ರಮ್ಯಾ ಮತ್ತು ಶ್ರೀಮತಿ ಲವೀನಾ ಒಲಿವೆರಾ ಮತ್ತು ವಿಶೇಷವಾಗಿ ವಿಜ್ಞಾನ ಶಿಕ್ಷಕಿ ಶ್ರೀಮತಿ ವೀಣಾ ಶೆಟ್ಟಿ ಅವರಿಗೆ ಅವರು ತಮ್ಮ ಕೃತಜ್ಞತೆಯನ್ನು ವ್ಯಕ್ತಪಡಿಸಿದರು.
ಔಪಚಾರಿಕ ವೇದಿಕೆ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮವು ಮುಖ್ಯೋಪಾಧ್ಯಾಯಿನಿ ಶ್ರೀಮತಿ ನೊರೊನ್ಹಾ ಅವರ ಆತ್ಮೀಯ ಸ್ವಾಗತದೊಂದಿಗೆ ಪ್ರಾರಂಭವಾಯಿತು, ಗೌರವಾನ್ವಿತ ಅತಿಥಿಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ಗಣ್ಯರನ್ನು ಶ್ಲಾಘಿಸಿದರು, ಆದರೆ ಶ್ರೀಮತಿ ಉಷಾ ರಾಣಿ ಇಡೀ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮವನ್ನು ಸೂಕ್ತವಾಗಿ ನಿರೂಪಿಸಿದರು. ಮುಖ್ಯ ಅತಿಥಿ ಮತ್ತು ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದ ಪ್ರಾಯೋಜಕರಲ್ಲಿ ಒಬ್ಬರಾದ ಶ್ರೀ ಪ್ರಕಾಶ್ ಗಣಾಚಾರಿ, ವ್ಯವಸ್ಥಾಪಕರು – ಸಾರ್ವಜನಿಕ ಸಂಪರ್ಕ ಮತ್ತು ಪರವಾನಗಿ – ಹಂಗಾರಕಟ್ಟೆ, ವಾಟರ್‌ವೇಸ್ ಪ್ರೈವೇಟ್ ಲಿಮಿಟೆಡ್, ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ವಿಜ್ಞಾನ ಮತ್ತು ತಂತ್ರಜ್ಞಾನದಲ್ಲಿ ಹೊಂದಿರುವ ತೀವ್ರ ಆಸಕ್ತಿಯನ್ನು ಶ್ಲಾಘಿಸಿದರು. ಈ ಭರವಸೆಯ ಯುವ ಮನಸ್ಸುಗಳಿಗೆ ನಿರಂತರ ಬೆಂಬಲವನ್ನು ಅವರು ಭರವಸೆ ನೀಡಿದರು, ವೈಜ್ಞಾನಿಕ ಅನ್ವೇಷಣೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಶ್ರೇಷ್ಠತೆಗಾಗಿ ಶ್ರಮಿಸಲು ಅವರನ್ನು ಪ್ರೋತ್ಸಾಹಿಸಿದರು.
ಪೂರ್ಣ ದಿನದ ಆಚರಣೆಯ ಭಾಗವಾಗಿ, ತಜ್ಞ ಸಂಪನ್ಮೂಲ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಿಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ಶಿಕ್ಷಕರು ಸಂವಾದಾತ್ಮಕ ವಿಜ್ಞಾನ ಕಾರ್ಯಾಗಾರಗಳನ್ನು ನಡೆಸಿ, ಕೆಜಿಯಿಂದ 7 ನೇ ತರಗತಿಯವರೆಗಿನ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳನ್ನು ತೊಡಗಿಸಿಕೊಂಡರು. ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೀಯ ಮಟ್ಟದಲ್ಲಿ ಭಾಗವಹಿಸಿದ ಮೂವರು ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳನ್ನು ಅವರ ಅತ್ಯುತ್ತಮ ಸಾಧನೆಗಳಿಗಾಗಿ ಗೌರವಿಸಲು ವಿಶೇಷ ಸನ್ಮಾನ ಸಮಾರಂಭವನ್ನು ನಡೆಸಲಾಯಿತು, ಇದು ಅವರ ಗೆಳೆಯರನ್ನು ಮತ್ತಷ್ಟು ಪ್ರೇರೇಪಿಸಿತು.
ಈ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದ ಪ್ರಮುಖ ಅಂಶವೆಂದರೆ ಶ್ರೀಮತಿ ವೀಣಾ ಶೆಟ್ಟಿ ಅವರ ಗೌರವಾರ್ಥ ಸನ್ಮಾನ, ಅವರ ವಿಜ್ಞಾನ ಶಿಕ್ಷಣದ ಮೇಲಿನ ಅವರ ಬದ್ಧತೆ ಮತ್ತು ಉತ್ಸಾಹವು ಯುವ ನಾವೀನ್ಯಕಾರರನ್ನು ರೂಪಿಸುವಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರಮುಖ ಪಾತ್ರ ವಹಿಸಿದೆ. ತಮ್ಮ ಹೃತ್ಪೂರ್ವಕ ಕೃತಜ್ಞತೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿ, ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಬಲವಾದ ವೈಜ್ಞಾನಿಕ ಮನೋಭಾವವನ್ನು ಬೆಳೆಸುವಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರಮುಖ ಪಾತ್ರ ವಹಿಸಿದ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಬೆಂಬಲಿಗರು, ಹಿತೈಷಿಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ಕೊಡುಗೆದಾರರಿಗೆ ಅವರು ಕೃತಜ್ಞತೆಗಳನ್ನು ವ್ಯಕ್ತಪಡಿಸಿದರು.
ಈ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮವನ್ನು ಬಿಆರ್‌ಪಿ ಶ್ರೀ ಉದಯ್ ಕೋಟ, ಸಿಆರ್‌ಪಿ ಶ್ರೀಮತಿ ಮಾಲಿನಿ ಸಂಸದ, ಚೇತನ ಪ್ರೌಢಶಾಲೆಯ ಮುಖ್ಯೋಪಾಧ್ಯಾಯಿನಿ ಶ್ರೀಮತಿ ಕಲ್ಪನಾ ಶೆಟ್ಟಿ, ಶಾಲಾ ನಿರ್ವಹಣಾ ಸಮಿತಿ ಕಾರ್ಯದರ್ಶಿ ಶ್ರೀ ರಾಜಶೇಖರ್ ಹೆಬ್ಬಾರ್, ಲಯನ್ಸ್ ಬಾರ್ಕೂರು ಕಾರ್ಯದರ್ಶಿ ಶ್ರೀ ಉದಯ ಕುಮಾರ್ ಶೆಟ್ಟಿ ಮತ್ತು ಅನೇಕ ಪೋಷಕರು, ಪದಾಧಿಕಾರಿಗಳು, ಲಯನ್ಸ್ ಕ್ಲಬ್ ಸದಸ್ಯರು, ಲೋಕೋಪಕಾರಿಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ಶಾಲಾ ನಿರ್ವಹಣಾ ಸಮಿತಿ ಸದಸ್ಯರು ಉಪಸ್ಥಿತರಿದ್ದರು. ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷತೆಯನ್ನು ಎಸ್‌ಡಿಎಂಸಿ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷೆ ಶ್ರೀಮತಿ ರೇಖಾ ಉಡುಪ ವಹಿಸಿ, ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಯ ಸೃಜನಶೀಲ ಮತ್ತು ಪ್ರತಿಭಾನ್ವಿತ ಶಿಕ್ಷಕರ ತಂಡದ ಸಹಯೋಗದೊಂದಿಗೆ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ಸಾಧಿಸಿದ ಗಮನಾರ್ಹ ಸಾಧನೆಗಳನ್ನು ವೀಕ್ಷಿಸಲು ಅಪಾರ ತೃಪ್ತಿ ಮತ್ತು ಸಂತೋಷವನ್ನು ವ್ಯಕ್ತಪಡಿಸುತ್ತಾ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮವು ಉನ್ನತ ಮಟ್ಟದಲ್ಲಿ ಮುಕ್ತಾಯವಾಯಿತು.
ಹಂಗಾರಕಟ್ಟೆ-ಮಾಬುಕಳದ ಸರ್ಕಾರಿ ಹಿರಿಯ ಪ್ರಾಥಮಿಕ ಶಾಲೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆದ ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೀಯ ವಿಜ್ಞಾನ ದಿನಾಚರಣೆಯು ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಯ ವೈಜ್ಞಾನಿಕ ಕಲಿಕೆ ಮತ್ತು ನಾವೀನ್ಯತೆಗೆ ಬದ್ಧತೆಗೆ ನಿಜವಾದ ಪುರಾವೆಯಾಗಿದ್ದು, ಯುವ ಮನಸ್ಸುಗಳು ವಿಜ್ಞಾನದ ಆಕರ್ಷಕ ಜಗತ್ತಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಅನ್ವೇಷಿಸಲು, ಪ್ರಯೋಗಿಸಲು ಮತ್ತು ಶ್ರೇಷ್ಠತೆಯನ್ನು ಸಾಧಿಸಲು ಪ್ರೇರೇಪಿಸಿತು.
ದಿನವಿಡೀ ನೆರೆಯ ಚೇತನ ಪ್ರೌಢಶಾಲೆ ಮತ್ತು ಇತರ ಪ್ರಾಥಮಿಕ ಶಾಲೆಗಳ ಮುಖ್ಯ ಶಿಕ್ಷಕರು ಮತ್ತು ಶಿಕ್ಷಕರು, ಉಡುಪಿ ಜಿಲ್ಲೆಯ ಶಿಕ್ಷಣ ಇಲಾಖೆ ಮತ್ತು ಬ್ರಹ್ಮಾವರ ಕ್ಲಸ್ಟರ್‌ನ ಅಧಿಕಾರಿಗಳು, ಪೋಷಕರು, ಹಳೆಯ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ಹಿತೈಷಿಗಳು – ಅನೇಕ ಜನರು ಹೆಚ್ಚಿನ ಸಂಖ್ಯೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ವಿಜ್ಞಾನ ಪ್ರದರ್ಶನಕ್ಕೆ ಭೇಟಿ ನೀಡಿ ತಮ್ಮ ಆಳವಾದ ಮೆಚ್ಚುಗೆ ಮತ್ತು ಪ್ರಶಂಸೆಯನ್ನು ವ್ಯಕ್ತಪಡಿಸಿದರು.
Science Exhibition & Workshop for Young Children in Govt Primary School Hangarkatte – Mabukala.
National Science Day was celebrated at Government Higher Primary School, Hangarakatte-Mabukall on February 28, 2025.
On the occasion of National Science Day, Government Higher Primary School, Hangarkatte-Mabukala, celebrated the birth anniversary of the renowned physicist and Nobel Laureate Dr. C.V. Raman with great enthusiasm on 28th February 2025. The event showcased a remarkable Science Exhibition, featuring innovative models created by young minds, including projects that had gained National-level recognition, on the one hand and historical art crafts, coins of yester years, age-old utensils, pottery and wood works etc.
A matter of immense pride for the school, on Top Ten Schools in this year as it marked the fifth consecutive time that student projects were selected among the top 10 models, out of more than 70 prototype inventions from 22 states across India.
The exhibition was formally inaugurated by Lions Club Barkur President, Mr. Srinivasa Shetty, who, in his insightful address, lauded the budding scientists of this rural institution. He extended his appreciation to the Headmistress, Mrs Priscilla Mattilda Noronha, faculty including Mrs Yashoda, Mrs Ramya and Mrs Laveena Olivera and especially Science teacher Mrs. Veena Shetty for her unwavering dedication in nurturing curiosity and innovation among students.
The formal stage program commenced with a warm welcome by the Headmistress, Mrs Noronha acknowledging the esteemed guests and dignitaries, while Mrs Usha Rani aptly anchored the whole event so meticulously. The Chief Guest and one of the event sponsors, Mr. Prakash Ganachari, Manager – Public Relation and Licensing – Waterways Private Limited, Hangarkatte commended the students for their keen interest in science and technology. He assured continued support to these promising young minds, encouraging them to strive for excellence in scientific pursuits.
As part of the full-day celebration, interactive science workshops were conducted by expert resource persons and teachers, engaging students from KG to Class VII. A special recognition ceremony was held to honour the three National-level participants for their outstanding achievements, further motivating their peers.
The highlight of the event was the well-deserved felicitation of Mrs. Veena Shetty, whose commitment and passion for science education have played a pivotal role in shaping young innovators. In her heartfelt vote of thanks, she expressed gratitude to all supporters, well-wishers, and contributors who have been instrumental in fostering a strong scientific temperament among students.
The event was graced by the presence of BRP Mr Uday Kota, CRP Mrs Malini MP, HM of Chetana High School Mrs Kalpana Shetty, School Mgmt Committee Secretary Mr Rajshekhar Hebbar, Lions Barkur Secretary Mr Udaya Kumar Shetty and many parents, office bearers, Lions Club members, philanthropists, and school management committee members. The program concluded on a high note as SDMC President Mrs. Rekha Udupa, presided over the function, expressing her immense satisfaction and joy in witnessing the remarkable achievements of the students in collaboration with team of creative and talented teachers of the Institution.
The National Science Day celebration at Government Higher Primary School, Hangarkatte-Mabukala, was a true proof to the institution’s commitment to scientific learning and innovation, inspiring young minds to explore, experiment, and excel in the fascinating world of science.
Throughout the day many people – HM and Teachers from the neighbouring Chetana High School, and other Primary Schools, Officers from Education Dept, Udupi District and Brahmmavar Cluster, parents, old students and well-wishers paid visit to Science Exhibition in large number and expressed their deep appreciation and praises.
