ಮೈಸೂರಿನ ದೋರ್ನಹಳ್ಳಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆಯುವ ಸಂತ ಅಂತೋನಿಯ ವಾರ್ಷಿಕ ಹಬ್ಬಕ್ಕೆ ಮುನ್ನ ನಡೆಯುವ ಒಂಬತ್ತನೇ ಭಕ್ತಿ ದಿನ

ಸಂತ ಅಂತೋನಿಯ ಭವ್ಯ ವಾರ್ಷಿಕ ಹಬ್ಬಕ್ಕೆ ಕಾರಣವಾಗುವ ನೊವೆನಾ ಭಕ್ತಿಯ ಒಂಬತ್ತನೇ ಮತ್ತು ಕೊನೆಯ ದಿನವು ಗುರುವಾರ, ಜೂನ್ 12, 2025 ರಂದು ಮೈಸೂರಿನ ಡೋರ್ನಹಳ್ಳಿಯಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಸಂತ ಅಂತೋನಿಯ ಬೆಸಿಲಿಕಾದಲ್ಲಿ ಆಳವಾದ ಆಧ್ಯಾತ್ಮಿಕ ಉತ್ಸಾಹದಿಂದ ನಡೆಯಿತು. ಭಕ್ತಿಯು ಭಕ್ತರ ದೊಡ್ಡ ಸಭೆಯನ್ನು ಸೆಳೆಯಿತು, ಎಲ್ಲರೂ ಪ್ರಾರ್ಥನೆ, ಕೃತಜ್ಞತೆ ಮತ್ತು ಮುಂಬರುವ ಹಬ್ಬದ ನಿರೀಕ್ಷೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಒಗ್ಗೂಡಿದರು.

ಯೂಕರಿಸ್ಟಿಕ್ ಆಚರಣೆಯನ್ನು ಪುಷ್ಪಗಿರಿಯ ಶಿಶು ಜೀಸಸ್ ಚರ್ಚ್‌ನ ಪ್ಯಾರಿಷ್ ಪಾದ್ರಿ ರೆವರೆಂಡ್ ಫಾದರ್ ಮಾರಿಯಾ ಕ್ಸೇವಿಯರ್ ನೇತೃತ್ವ ವಹಿಸಿದ್ದರು.

ಪ್ರೀತಿ, ಏಕತೆ ಮತ್ತು ಪರಸ್ಪರ ಕಾಳಜಿಯನ್ನು ಕೇಂದ್ರೀಕರಿಸಿ “ಭರವಸೆ ಹೊಸ ಆಜ್ಞೆಯ ಸಮುದಾಯವನ್ನು ನಿರ್ಮಿಸುತ್ತದೆ” ಎಂಬುದು ದಿನದ ವಿಷಯವಾಗಿತ್ತು.

ಪವಿತ್ರ ಬಲಿಪೂಜೆಯ ಆಚರಣೆಯ ನಂತರ, ಭಕ್ತರು ಸಂತ ಅಂತೋನಿಗೆ ನೊವೆನಾ ಪ್ರಾರ್ಥನೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಸೇರಿಕೊಂಡರು, ತಮ್ಮ ಉದ್ದೇಶಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ಅರ್ಜಿಗಳನ್ನು ಬಹಳ ನಂಬಿಕೆಯಿಂದ ಎತ್ತಿದರು. ನೊವೆನಾದ ಕೊನೆಯ ದಿನವು ಪವಿತ್ರ ಪ್ರತಿಮೆಯ ಮೆರವಣಿಗೆ ಮತ್ತು ಪೂಜ್ಯ ಸಂಸ್ಕಾರದ ಆಶೀರ್ವಾದದೊಂದಿಗೆ ಮುಕ್ತಾಯಗೊಂಡಿತು, ಇದು ಒಂಬತ್ತು ದಿನಗಳ ಭಕ್ತಿಯ ಪ್ರಯಾಣಕ್ಕೆ ಆಧ್ಯಾತ್ಮಿಕವಾಗಿ ತೃಪ್ತಿಕರವಾದ ಅಂತ್ಯವನ್ನು ಸೂಚಿಸುತ್ತದೆ.

Ninth Day of Devotion Preceding the Annual Feast of St Anthony Held at Dornahalli, Mysore

The ninth and final day of the Novena devotion leading up to the grand Annual Feast of St Anthony was held with deep spiritual fervour on Thursday, June 12, 2025, at St Anthony’s Basilica, Dornahalli, Mysore. The devotion drew a large gathering of the faithful, all united in prayer, thanksgiving, and anticipation of the upcoming feast.

The Eucharistic celebration was led by Rev. Fr. Maria Xavier, Parish Priest of Infant Jesus Church, Pushpagiri.

The theme for the day was “Hope builds a community of the new commandment,” centering on love, unity, and mutual care.

Following the celebration of the Holy Mass, the faithful joined in the Novena prayers to St Anthony, lifting their intentions and petitions with great faith. The final day of the Novena concluded with the Procession of the Holy Statue and the Benediction of the Blessed Sacrament, marking a spiritually fulfilling end to the nine-day journey of devotion.
