ಕಲ್ಯಾಣಪುರ ; ಮಿಲಾಗ್ರಿಸ್ ಕಾಲೇಜಿನ ಕಲ್ಯಾಣಪುರ ಪೋಷಕ-ಶಿಕ್ಷಕರ ಸಂಘದ (ಪಿಟಿಎ) ಸಭೆಯು ಮೇ 3, 2025 ರಂದು ನಡೆಯಿತು. ಈ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮವು ಐಕ್ಯೂಎಸಿ ಸಂಯೋಜಕಿ ಶ್ರೀಮತಿ ಶೈಲೆಟ್ ಮಥಿಯಾಸ್ ಅವರ ಆತ್ಮೀಯ ಸ್ವಾಗತ ಭಾಷಣದೊಂದಿಗೆ ಪ್ರಾರಂಭವಾಯಿತು, ಸಭೆಗೆ ಸಕಾರಾತ್ಮಕ ಮನೋಭಾವವನ್ನು ಮೂಡಿಸಿತು. ನಂತರ ಪಿಟಿಎ ಕಾರ್ಯದರ್ಶಿ ಶ್ರೀಮತಿ ರಾಧಿಕಾ ಪಾಟ್ಕರ್ ಅವರು ಹಿಂದಿನ ವರ್ಷದ ಸಭೆಯ ನಿಮಿಷಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ಲೆಕ್ಕಪತ್ರ ವಿವರಗಳನ್ನು ಮಂಡಿಸಿದರು, ಪಾರದರ್ಶಕತೆ ಮತ್ತು ಹೊಣೆಗಾರಿಕೆಯನ್ನು ಖಚಿತಪಡಿಸಿದರು.
ಪ್ರಾಂಶುಪಾಲ ಡಾ. ವಿನ್ಸೆಂಟ್ ಆಳ್ವ ಸಭೆಯನ್ನುದ್ದೇಶಿಸಿ ಮಾತನಾಡಿದರು, ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ಕ್ಯಾಂಪಸ್‌ನಲ್ಲಿ ಅವರ ಅನುಕರಣೀಯ ನಡವಳಿಕೆಯನ್ನು ಶ್ಲಾಘಿಸಿದರು ಮತ್ತು ಪೋಷಕರು ತಮ್ಮ ಮಕ್ಕಳ ಪ್ರಗತಿಯನ್ನು ಸಕ್ರಿಯವಾಗಿ ಮೇಲ್ವಿಚಾರಣೆ ಮಾಡಲು ಪ್ರೋತ್ಸಾಹಿಸಿದರು. ಅವರು ರಸ್ತೆ ಸುರಕ್ಷತೆಯ ಮಹತ್ವವನ್ನು ಒತ್ತಿ ಹೇಳಿದರು, ಚಾಲನಾ ಪರವಾನಗಿಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ಹೆಲ್ಮೆಟ್‌ಗಳ ಅಗತ್ಯವನ್ನು ಒತ್ತಿ ಹೇಳಿದರು ಮತ್ತು ತಂಬಾಕು ಬಳಕೆಯ ಅಪಾಯಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ಅದರ ಬದಲಿಗಳ ವಿರುದ್ಧ ಎಚ್ಚರಿಕೆ ನೀಡಿದರು. ಹೆಚ್ಚುವರಿಯಾಗಿ, ಡಾ. ಆಳ್ವ ಅವರು ಶ್ರೀ ಪ್ರಜ್ವಲ್ ಕುಮಾರ್, ಶ್ರೀಮತಿ ಬೂಮಿಕಾ ಮೇಸ್ತಾ, ಶ್ರೀ ಬುವಾನ್ ಮೇಸ್ತಾ ಮತ್ತು ಶ್ರೀ ಮಾರ್ಕ್ ಆಂಥೋನಿ ಡಿಕಾಸ್ಟಾ ಸೇರಿದಂತೆ ಎನ್‌ಸಿಸಿ ಮತ್ತು ಕ್ರೀಡಾ ಸಾಧಕರನ್ನು ಅವರ ಅತ್ಯುತ್ತಮ ಸಾಧನೆಗಳನ್ನು ಗುರುತಿಸಿ ಅಭಿನಂದಿಸಿದರು.
ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷರಾದ ರೆವರೆಂಡ್ ರೆವರೆಂಡ್ ಶ್ರೀಮತಿ ಫರ್ಡಿನಾಂಡ್ ಗೊನ್ಸಾಲ್ವಿಸ್ ಅವರು ಹೃತ್ಪೂರ್ವಕ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷೀಯ ಹೇಳಿಕೆಯನ್ನು ನೀಡಿ, ಪೋಷಕರ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಯ ಮೇಲಿನ ನಂಬಿಕೆಗೆ ಕೃತಜ್ಞತೆಯನ್ನು ವ್ಯಕ್ತಪಡಿಸಿದರು ಮತ್ತು ಶಿಕ್ಷಣದ ಪರಿವರ್ತನಾ ಶಕ್ತಿಯನ್ನು ಎತ್ತಿ ತೋರಿಸಿದರು. ಸಭೆಯ ಪ್ರಮುಖ ಅಂಶವೆಂದರೆ ಉಪ ಪ್ರಾಂಶುಪಾಲರಾದ ಶ್ರೀಮತಿ ಸೋಫಿಯಾ ಡಯಾಸ್ ಅವರು 2025-26 ಶೈಕ್ಷಣಿಕ ವರ್ಷದ ಪಿಟಿಎ ಪದಾಧಿಕಾರಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಚುನಾವಣಾ ಪ್ರಕ್ರಿಯೆ ನಡೆಸಿದರು. ಫಲಿತಾಂಶಗಳು ಈ ಕೆಳಗಿನಂತಿವೆ: ಶ್ರೀ ಗಣೇಶ್ ಮೇಸ್ತಾ ಅವರನ್ನು ಪಿಟಿಎ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷರನ್ನಾಗಿ ಮರು ಆಯ್ಕೆ ಮಾಡಲಾಯಿತು, ಶ್ರೀ ಪಿಯೂಸ್ ಫ್ರಾಂಕ್ ಮತ್ತು ಶ್ರೀಮತಿ ಟ್ರೀಸಾ ಡಿಸೋಜಾ ಅವರನ್ನು ಉಪಾಧ್ಯಕ್ಷರನ್ನಾಗಿ ಆಯ್ಕೆ ಮಾಡಲಾಯಿತು. ಸಂಘದ ಹೊಸ ಸದಸ್ಯರಲ್ಲಿ ಶ್ರೀಮತಿ ಬವಿತಾ ರೆಬೆಲ್ಲೊ, ಶ್ರೀಮತಿ ಡೈಜಿ ಲೆಸ್ರಾಡೊ ಮತ್ತು ಶ್ರೀ ಜನಾರ್ಧನ್ ಪೂಜಾರಿ ಸೇರಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
ಕಂಪ್ಯೂಟರ್ ಅಪ್ಲಿಕೇಶನ್ ವಿಭಾಗದ ಸಹಾಯಕ ಪ್ರಾಧ್ಯಾಪಕಿ ಶ್ರೀಮತಿ ಅನ್ವಿತಾ ಅವರು ಕೃತಜ್ಞತೆ ಸಲ್ಲಿಸುವ ಮೂಲಕ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮವು ಮೆಚ್ಚುಗೆ ಮತ್ತು ಕೃತಜ್ಞತೆಯ ಟಿಪ್ಪಣಿಯೊಂದಿಗೆ ಮುಕ್ತಾಯವಾಯಿತು. ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮವು ಸುಗಮವಾಗಿ ನಡೆಯುವಂತೆ ನೋಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವಲ್ಲಿ ಪಿಆರ್‌ಒ ಶ್ರೀ ರವಿನಂದನ್ ಭಟ್ ಪ್ರಮುಖ ಪಾತ್ರ ವಹಿಸಿದರು, ಸಭೆಯ ಉದ್ದಕ್ಕೂ ನಿರೂಪಕರಾಗಿ ಸೇವೆ ಸಲ್ಲಿಸಿದರು. ಪಿಟಿಎ ಸಭೆಯು ಅದ್ಭುತ ಯಶಸ್ಸನ್ನು ಕಂಡಿತು, ಪೋಷಕರು, ಶಿಕ್ಷಕರು ಮತ್ತು ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಸಮುದಾಯ ಮತ್ತು ಸಹಯೋಗದ ಪ್ರಜ್ಞೆಯನ್ನು ಬೆಳೆಸಿತು.
Milagris College Kalyanpur Parent-Teacher Association (PTA) meeting
The Parent-Teacher Association (PTA) meeting of Milagres College Kallinpur was held on May 3, 2025. The event began with a warm welcome speech by Mrs. Shylet Mathias, IQAC Coordinator, setting a positive tone for the gathering. Mrs. Radhika Patkar, PTA Secretary, then presented the minutes of the previous year’s meeting and accounting details, ensuring transparency and accountability.
Principal Dr. Vincent Alva addressed the gathering, commending students for their exemplary behavior on campus and encouraging parents to actively monitor their children’s progress. He also emphasized the importance of road safety, stressing the need for driving licenses and helmets, while cautioning against the dangers of tobacco use and its substitutes. Additionally, Dr. Alva congratulated the NCC and sports achievers, including Mr. Prajwal Kumar, Ms. Boomika Mesta, Mr. Buvan Mesta, and Mr. Mark Anthony Dcasta, recognizing their outstanding accomplishments.
Rt Rev. Msgr Ferdinand Gonsalves, President of the program, delivered a heartfelt presidential remark, expressing gratitude to parents for their trust in the institution and highlighting the transformative power of education. The highlight of the meeting was the election process, conducted by Mrs. Sophia Dias, Vice Principal, for the PTA office bearers for the academic year 2025-26. The results were as follows: Mr. Ganesh Mesta was re-elected as PTA President, with Mr. Peus Frank and Ms. Treesa Dsouza elected as Vice Presidents. New members of the association include Mrs. Bavitha Rebello, Mrs. Daizy Lesrado, and Mr. Janardhan Poojary.
The program concluded on a note of appreciation and gratitude with a vote of thanks delivered by Ms. Anvitha, Assistant Professor, Department of Computer Application. Mr. Ravinandan Bhat, PRO, played a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth execution of the event, serving as the compere throughout the meeting. The PTA meeting was a resounding success, fostering a sense of community and collaboration among parents, teachers, and students.
