Mangalore: The Rachana Catholic Chamber of Commerce and Industry held an enriching and enlightening session with its event titled “Members Social Connect” on March 17 at St Sebastian Community Hall, Bendoor, Mangalore.
Mr. John Monteiro, the President of Rachana in his welcome address outlined the objectives of the event and highlighted the importance of connecting with society as entrepreneurs, professionals, and agriculturists.
He mentioned that an entrepreneur should work to build social harmony and be cautious when handling social issues.
The esteemed guest speaker, Mr. Walter Nandalike, Managing Director of Daijiworld Media Pvt Ltd, in his enlightening address, delved into the importance of entrepreneurs’ integration within society, explaining why this connection is vital and offering guidance on navigating diverse scenarios. Drawing attention to recent occurrences, Mr. Walter underscored the significance of responding thoughtfully rather than reacting impulsively, particularly within a secular context. He emphasised that each individual, whether affiliated with a political party, institution, or association, operates within certain constraints. Thus, he advocated against the blame game, urging instead for a detailed understanding of circumstances to facilitate wise decision-making.
As custodians of societal harmony, entrepreneurs bear a profound responsibility to foster unity and cultivate tranquillity whenever the need arises. Mr Nandalike also cautioned against being swayed by heightened emotions, warning against the proliferation of inflammatory content in various media forms. In essence, he reminded us of our shared identity and the imperative to be socially connected as a united front.
The session was well moderated by Mr Leslie Rego who set a base for the topic of the event.
Former MLA Mr J R Lobo and Mr Roy Castelino, PRO of the Diocese of Mangalore, shared their views.
President Mr. John Monteiro briefed about Rachana’s Silver Jubilee Celebrations, marking its 25-year milestone and future plans. He mentioned the formation of a Silver Committee led by Ms. Marjorie Texeira as the chairman who outlined Rachana’s ambitious plans for the future, focusing on nurturing young entrepreneurs as part of its silver jubilee celebrations
The event included recognising and honouring Rachana members for their outstanding achievements.

ಮಂಗಳೂರು: ರಚನಾ ಕ್ಯಾಥೋಲಿಕ್ ಚೇಂಬರ್ ಆಫ್ ಕಾಮರ್ಸ್ ಅಂಡ್ ಇಂಡಸ್ಟ್ರಿಯು ಮಾರ್ಚ್ 17 ರಂದು ಮಂಗಳೂರಿನ ಬೆಂದೂರಿನಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಸೇಂಟ್ ಸೆಬಾಸ್ಟಿಯನ್ ಸಮುದಾಯ ಭವನದಲ್ಲಿ “ಸದಸ್ಯರ ಸಾಮಾಜಿಕ ಸಂಪರ್ಕ” ಎಂಬ ಶೀರ್ಷಿಕೆಯ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದೊಂದಿಗೆ ಶ್ರೀಮಂತ ಮತ್ತು ಪ್ರಬುದ್ಧ ಅಧಿವೇಶನವನ್ನು ನಡೆಸಿತು.
ರಚನಾ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷರಾದ ಶ್ರೀ. ಜಾನ್ ಮೊಂತ್ತೇರೊ ಅವರು ತಮ್ಮ ಸ್ವಾಗತ ಭಾಷಣದಲ್ಲಿ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದ ಉದ್ದೇಶಗಳನ್ನು ವಿವರಿಸಿದರು ಮತ್ತು ಉದ್ಯಮಿಗಳು, ವೃತ್ತಿಪರರು ಮತ್ತು ಕೃಷಿಕರಾಗಿ ಸಮಾಜದೊಂದಿಗೆ ಸಂಪರ್ಕ ಸಾಧಿಸುವ ಮಹತ್ವವನ್ನು ಎತ್ತಿ ತೋರಿಸಿದರು.
ಉದ್ಯಮಿಯು ಸಾಮಾಜಿಕ ಸಾಮರಸ್ಯವನ್ನು ನಿರ್ಮಿಸುವ ಕೆಲಸ ಮಾಡಬೇಕು ಮತ್ತು ಸಾಮಾಜಿಕ ಸಮಸ್ಯೆಗಳನ್ನು ನಿಭಾಯಿಸುವಾಗ ಎಚ್ಚರಿಕೆ ವಹಿಸಬೇಕು ಎಂದು ಅವರು ಹೇಳಿದರು.
ಗೌರವಾನ್ವಿತ ಅತಿಥಿ ಉಪನ್ಯಾಸಕರು, Daijiworld Media Pvt Ltd ನ ವ್ಯವಸ್ಥಾಪಕ ನಿರ್ದೇಶಕರಾದ ಶ್ರೀ. ವಾಲ್ಟರ್ ನಂದಳಿಕೆ ತಮ್ಮ ಭಾಷಣದಲ್ಲಿ, ಸಮಾಜದೊಳಗೆ ಉದ್ಯಮಿಗಳ ಏಕೀಕರಣದ ಪ್ರಾಮುಖ್ಯತೆಯನ್ನು ಒತ್ತಿ ಹೇಳಿದರು, ಈ ಸಂಪರ್ಕವು ಏಕೆ ಪ್ರಮುಖವಾಗಿದೆ ಎಂಬುದನ್ನು ವಿವರಿಸಿದರು ಮತ್ತು ವೈವಿಧ್ಯಮಯ ಸನ್ನಿವೇಶಗಳನ್ನು ನ್ಯಾವಿಗೇಟ್ ಮಾಡಲು ಮಾರ್ಗದರ್ಶನ ನೀಡಿದರು. ಇತ್ತೀಚಿನ ಘಟನೆಗಳತ್ತ ಗಮನ ಸೆಳೆದ. ವಾಲ್ಟರ್, ನಿರ್ದಿಷ್ಟವಾಗಿ ಜಾತ್ಯತೀತ ಸನ್ನಿವೇಶದಲ್ಲಿ ಉದ್ವೇಗದಿಂದ ಪ್ರತಿಕ್ರಿಯಿಸುವ ಬದಲು ಚಿಂತನಶೀಲವಾಗಿ ಪ್ರತಿಕ್ರಿಯಿಸುವ ಮಹತ್ವವನ್ನು ಒತ್ತಿಹೇಳಿದರು. ಪ್ರತಿಯೊಬ್ಬ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಿಯು ರಾಜಕೀಯ ಪಕ್ಷ, ಸಂಸ್ಥೆ ಅಥವಾ ಸಂಘದೊಂದಿಗೆ ಸಂಬಂಧ ಹೊಂದಿದ್ದರೂ, ಕೆಲವು ನಿರ್ಬಂಧಗಳೊಳಗೆ ಕಾರ್ಯನಿರ್ವಹಿಸುತ್ತಾನೆ ಎಂದು ಅವರು ಒತ್ತಿ ಹೇಳಿದರು. ಹೀಗಾಗಿ, ಅವರು ಬ್ಲೇಮ್ ಗೇಮ್ ವಿರುದ್ಧ ಪ್ರತಿಪಾದಿಸಿದರು, ಬದಲಿಗೆ ಬುದ್ಧಿವಂತ ನಿರ್ಧಾರಗಳನ್ನು ಮಾಡಲು ಅನುಕೂಲವಾಗುವಂತೆ ಸಂದರ್ಭಗಳ ವಿವರವಾದ ತಿಳುವಳಿಕೆಯನ್ನು ಒತ್ತಾಯಿಸಿದರು.
ಸಾಮಾಜಿಕ ಸಾಮರಸ್ಯದ ಪಾಲಕರಾಗಿ, ಉದ್ಯಮಿಗಳು ಅಗತ್ಯ ಬಂದಾಗಲೆಲ್ಲಾ ಏಕತೆಯನ್ನು ಬೆಳೆಸಲು ಮತ್ತು ಶಾಂತಿಯನ್ನು ಬೆಳೆಸಲು ಆಳವಾದ ಜವಾಬ್ದಾರಿಯನ್ನು ಹೊರುತ್ತಾರೆ. ಶ್ರೀ ನಂದಳಿಕೆ ಅವರು ಉತ್ತುಂಗಕ್ಕೇರಿದ ಭಾವನೆಗಳಿಗೆ ಒಳಗಾಗದಂತೆ ಎಚ್ಚರಿಕೆ ನೀಡಿದರು, ವಿವಿಧ ಮಾಧ್ಯಮ ರೂಪಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಉರಿಯೂತದ ವಿಷಯಗಳ ಪ್ರಸರಣದ ವಿರುದ್ಧ ಎಚ್ಚರಿಕೆ ನೀಡಿದರು. ಮೂಲಭೂತವಾಗಿ, ಅವರು ನಮ್ಮ ಹಂಚಿಕೆಯ ಗುರುತನ್ನು ನಮಗೆ ನೆನಪಿಸಿದರು ಮತ್ತು ಯುನೈಟೆಡ್ ಫ್ರಂಟ್ ಆಗಿ ಸಾಮಾಜಿಕವಾಗಿ ಸಂಪರ್ಕ ಹೊಂದಲು ಕಡ್ಡಾಯವಾಗಿದೆ.
ಈ ವೆಂಟ್‌ನ ವಿಷಯಕ್ಕೆ ಆಧಾರವನ್ನು ಹೊಂದಿದ್ದ ಶ್ರೀ ಲೆಸ್ಲಿ ರೆಗೊ ಅವರು ಅಧಿವೇಶನವನ್ನು ಉತ್ತಮವಾಗಿ ಮಾಡರೇಟ್ ಮಾಡಿದರು. ಮಾಜಿ ಶಾಸಕರಾದ ಶ್ರೀ ಜೆ ಆರ್ ಲೋಬೋ ಮತ್ತು ಮಂಗಳೂರು ಧರ್ಮಪ್ರಾಂತ್ಯದ ಪಿಆರ್ ಓ ಶ್ರೀ ರಾಯ್ ಕ್ಯಾಸ್ತಲಿನೋ ಅವರು ತಮ್ಮ ಅಭಿಪ್ರಾಯಗಳನ್ನು ಹಂಚಿಕೊಂಡರು.
ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷ ಶ್ರೀ. ಜಾನ್ ಮೊಂಟೇರೊ ರಚನಾ ಅವರ ರಜತ ಮಹೋತ್ಸವದ ಆಚರಣೆಗಳ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ವಿವರಿಸಿದರು, ಅದರ 25 ವರ್ಷಗಳ ಮೈಲಿಗಲ್ಲು ಮತ್ತು ಭವಿಷ್ಯದ ಯೋಜನೆಗಳನ್ನು ಗುರುತಿಸಿದರು. ರಚನಾ ಅವರ ಭವಿಷ್ಯದ ಮಹತ್ವಾಕಾಂಕ್ಷೆಯ ಯೋಜನೆಗಳನ್ನು ವಿವರಿಸಿದ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷರಾಗಿ ಶ್ರೀಮತಿ ಮಾರ್ಜೋರಿ ಟೆಕ್ಸೀರಾ ಅವರ ನೇತೃತ್ವದ ರಜತ ಸಮಿತಿಯ ರಚನೆಯನ್ನು ಅವರು ಪ್ರಸ್ತಾಪಿಸಿದರು, ಅದರ ರಜತ ಮಹೋತ್ಸವದ ಅಂಗವಾಗಿ ಯುವ ಉದ್ಯಮಿಗಳನ್ನು ಪೋಷಿಸುವತ್ತ ಗಮನ ಹರಿಸಿದರು.
ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದಲ್ಲಿ ರಚನಾ ಸದಸ್ಯರನ್ನು ಅವರ ಅತ್ಯುತ್ತಮ ಸಾಧನೆಗಾಗಿ ಗುರುತಿಸಿ ಗೌರವಿಸಲಾಯಿತು.
ಶ್ರೀಮತಿ ಲವಿನಾ ಮೊಂತೇರೊ ಅವರು ಗೌರವ ಪುರಸ್ಕೃತರನ್ನು ಪರಿಚಯಿಸಿದರು. ವಿಶ್ವದಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಟ್ರಾವೆಲ್ ಏಜೆಂಟ್ಸ್ ಮತ್ತು ಟೂರ್ ಆಪರೇಟರ್ಸ್ ಅಸೋಸಿಯೇಶನ್‌ಗಳ ಅಪೆಕ್ಸ್ ಬಾಡಿಯಾಗಿರುವ ಯುನೈಟೆಡ್ ಫೆಡರೇಶನ್ ಆಫ್ ಟ್ರಾವೆಲ್ ಏಜೆಂಟ್ಸ್ ಅಸೋಸಿಯೇಷನ್, ಮೊನಾಕೊದ ಹಣಕಾಸು ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಯ ಉಪಾಧ್ಯಕ್ಷರಾಗಿ ನಾಮನಿರ್ದೇಶನಗೊಂಡಿರುವ ಶ್ರೀ ವಿಲಿಯಂ ಡಿಸೋಜಾ. ಶ್ರೀ ನೆಲ್ಸನ್ ಮೊಂಟೆರೊ, ಭೂ ನ್ಯಾಯಮಂಡಳಿಯ ಸದಸ್ಯರಾಗಿ ನೇಮಕಗೊಂಡಿದ್ದಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಕಾಂಗ್ರೆಸ್ ಪಕ್ಷದ ಸಕ್ರಿಯ ನಾಯಕ, ಡಿಕೆ ಶ್ರೀ ಸ್ಟ್ಯಾನಿ ಅಲ್ವಾರೆಸ್, ಕೊಂಕಣಿ ಸಾಹಿತ್ಯ ಅಕಾಡೆಮಿ, ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ ಸರ್ಕಾರದ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷರಾಗಿ ನೇಮಕಗೊಂಡಿದ್ದಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಮಾಂಡ್ ಸೊಭಾಣ್ ಮಾಜಿ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷರು ಕೊಂಕಣಿ ಸಾಹಿತ್ಯ ಅಕಾಡೆಮಿಯ ಸದಸ್ಯರಾಗಿ ನೇಮಕಗೊಂಡಿರುವ ಶ್ರೀ ನವೀನ್ ಲೋಬೋ, ಉಪಾಧ್ಯಕ್ಷ ಮಾಂಡ್ ಸೊಭಾಣ್ ಸಿಎ ವಿಕ್ರಮ್ ಜೂಡ್ ಸಲ್ಡಾನ್ಹಾ ರಚನಾ ಕುಟುಂಬದ ಬೆಳವಣಿಗೆ ಮತ್ತು ಒಳಗೊಳ್ಳುವಿಕೆಯನ್ನು ಸಂಕೇತಿಸುವ ಹೊಸ ಸದಸ್ಯರನ್ನು ಪರಿಚಯಿಸಿದರು.
ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮವನ್ನು ಯಶಸ್ವಿಗೊಳಿಸಲು ಸಹಕರಿಸಿದ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಭಾಗವಹಿಸಿದವರಿಗೆ ಮತ್ತು ಭಾಗವಹಿಸಿದವರಿಗೆ ಶ್ರೀ ವಿಜಯ್ ವಿಶ್ವಾಸ್ ಲೋಬೋ ಹೃತ್ಪೂರ್ವಕ ಕೃತಜ್ಞತೆಗಳನ್ನು ವ್ಯಕ್ತಪಡಿಸಿದರು. ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮವನ್ನು ಶ್ರೀ ರೋಶನ್ ಡಿಸೋಜ ನಿರೂಪಿಸಿದರು.
