ಮಂಗಳೂರು; ’ಎಂಟರ್‌ಪ್ರೈನರ್‌ಶಿಪ್ ಡೆವಲಪ್‌ಮೆಂಟ್ ಪ್ರೋಗ್ರಾಂ (EDP) – 2025 ಅನ್ನು ಮೇ 8, 2025ರಂದು ಮಂಗಳೂರುದಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಸೇಂಟ್ ಅಲೋಶಿಯಸ್ (ಅಭ್ಯರ್ಥಿತ ವಿಶ್ವವಿದ್ಯಾಲಯ) ಯೂನಿಟ್‌ನ AIMIT ನಲ್ಲಿ ಶೆಣೈ ಸಭಾಂಗಣದಲ್ಲಿ ಯಶಸ್ವಿಯಾಗಿ ಆಯೋಜಿಸಲಾಯಿತು. ಬಿಸಿನೆಸ್ ಅಡ್ಮಿನಿಸ್ಟ್ರೇಶನ್ (ಎಂ.ಬಿ.ಎ) ವಿಭಾಗದ ವತಿಯಿಂದ ಈ ಪೂರ್ಣದಿನ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮವನ್ನು ಬೆಳಗ್ಗೆ 9:00ರಿಂದ ಸಂಜೆ 4:15ರ ವರೆಗೆ ನಡೆಸಲಾಯಿತು.
ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದ ಉದ್ಘಾಟನಾ ಸಮಾರಂಭವನ್ನು ಹಲವಾರು ಗಣ್ಯರ ಸಮ್ಮುಖದಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆಸಲಾಯಿತು. ಮುಖ್ಯ ಅತಿಥಿಯಾಗಿ ಪ್ರಖ್ಯಾತ ಉದ್ಯಮಿ ಮತ್ತು ಜ್ಯೋತಿ ಲ್ಯಾಬ್ಸ್‌ನ ಜಂಟಿ ವ್ಯವಸ್ಥಾಪಕ ನಿರ್ದೇಶಕರಾದ ಶ್ರೀ ಉಲ್ಲಾಸ್ ಕಾಮತ್ ಅವರು ಪಾಲ್ಗೊಂಡರು. ಇವರೊಂದಿಗೆ ರೆ। ಫಾ| ಕಿರಣ್ ಕೊತ್ ಎಸ್‌ಜೆ (AIMIT ನಿರ್ದೇಶಕ), ಡಾ. ರಜನಿ ಸುರೇಶ್ (ಅಕಾಡೆಮಿಕ್ಸ್ ಮತ್ತು ಸಂಶೋಧನಾ ಡೀನ್), ಮಿಸ್ ಬೀನಾ ಡಯಸ್ (ವಿಭಾಗದ ಮುಖ್ಯಸ್ಥೆ), ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮ ಸಂಯೋಜಕ ಡಾ. ಸ್ವಪ್ನಾ ರೋಸ್ ಮತ್ತು ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮ ಸಹ ಸಂಯೋಜಕರಾದ ಮಿಸ್ ಪ್ರಥ್ವಿ ಪ್ರಕಾಶ್ ಮತ್ತು ಮಿಸ್ ಲವೀನಾ ನೈಟಿಂಗೇಲ್ ಅವರು ಉಪಸ್ಥಿತರಿದ್ದರು.
ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದ ಆರಂಭವನ್ನು ಪರಂಪರೆಯಂತೆ ದೀಪ ಬೆಳಗಿಸುವ ಮೂಲಕ ಮಾಡಲಾಯಿತು. ಬಳಿಕ ಶ್ರೀ ಉಲ್ಲಾಸ್ ಕಾಮತ್ ಅವರು ವಿಶೇಷ ಭಾಷಣ ನೀಡಿದರು. ರೆ. ಫಾ. ಕಿರಣ್ ಕೊತ್ ಎಸ್‌ಜೆ ಅವರು ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷೀಯ ಭಾಷಣ ನೀಡಿದರು.
ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದಲ್ಲಿ ಹಲವು ಮಹತ್ವಪೂರ್ಣ ಭಾಷಣಗಳು ನಡೆಯುವ ಮೂಲಕ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಸ್ಪೂರ್ತಿದಾಯಕ ಅನುಭವವಾಯಿತು. ಫೆಡರಲ್ ಬ್ಯಾಂಕ್‌ನ ಅಸೋಸಿಯೇಟ್ ವೈಸ್ ಪ್ರೆಸಿಡೆಂಟ್‌ ಆಗಿರುವ ಶ್ರೀ ಅಜಯ್ ಕಾಮತ್ ಕೆ. ಅವರು ತಜ್ಞ ಭಾಷಣ ನೀಡಿದರು. ನಂತರ ವಥಿಕಾವ್ ಇಂಟರ್‌ನ್ಯಾಷನಲ್ ಟ್ರಾವೆಲ್ಸ್‌ನ ಮಾಲಕಿಯಾದ ಮಿಸೆಸ್ ವಥಿಕಾ ಪೈ ಅವರು ಉಪನ್ಯಾಸ ನೀಡಿದರು. ಸಂಗೀತ ಮತ್ತು ಸಾಹಸ ಕ್ರೀಡೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಸಾಧನೆ ಮಾಡಿದ ಯುವ ಉದ್ಯಮಿ ಮಾಸ್ಟರ್ ಜಿತೇನ್ ಅರುಣ್ ಅವರು ಪ್ರೇರಣಾದಾಯಕ ಪ್ರಸ್ತುತಿ ನೀಡಿದರು.
ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದ ಕೊನೆಯ ಅಧಿವೇಶನ ‘ಮೆಂಟೋಪ್ರಿಚ್’ ಎಂದು ಕರೆಯಲ್ಪಟಿದ್ದು, ಓರಾಕಲ್‌ನ ಹಿರಿಯ ವಿಶ್ಲೇಷಕ ಮಿಸೆಸ್ ಶಿಫಾಲಿ ಸಲ್ಡಾನ್ಹಾ ಅವರ ನೇತೃತ್ವದಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆಯಿತು. ಈ ಸೆಷನ್‌ನಲ್ಲಿ AIMITನ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿ ಉದ್ಯಮಿಗಳಿಗೆ ನೇರ ಮಾರ್ಗದರ್ಶನ ನೀಡಲಾಯಿತು.
Mangalore St. Aloysius-AIMIT Development Program 2025’
Mangalore; The Entrepreneurship Development Programme (EDP) – 2025 was successfully conducted on 8th May 2025 at the Arthur Shenoy Auditorium, AIMIT, St Aloysius (Deemed to be University), Mangaluru. Organized by the Department of Business Administration (MBA), the full-day programme commenced at 9:00 a.m. and concluded at 4:15 p.m.
The inaugural session was graced by the presence of esteemed dignitaries, including the Chief Guest, Mr. Ullas Kamath, a distinguished entrepreneur and Joint Managing Director of Jyothi Labs. Other notable attendees included Rev. Fr. Kiran Coth SJ, Director of AIMIT; Dr. Rajani Suresh, Dean of Academics and Research; Ms. Beena Dias, Head of the Department; faculty coordinator Dr. Swapna Rose; and event coordinators Ms. Prithvi Prakash and Ms. Laveena Nightingale.
The programme commenced with the traditional lighting of the lamp, symbolizing the inauguration of the event. This was followed by a special address delivered by Mr. Ullas Kamath, and the presidential address by Rev. Fr. Kiran Coth SJ, setting the tone for the day’s proceedings.
The event featured a series of insightful sessions by prominent speakers. Mr. Ajay Kamath K, Associate Vice President at Federal Bank, delivered an expert talk, followed by an engaging session by Mrs. Vathika Pai, Proprietor of Vathikav International Travels. An inspiring presentation was also delivered by Master Jithen Arun, a young intrapreneur with notable contributions in the fields of music and adventure sports.
The concluding session, titled ‘Mentoprich’, was moderated by Mrs. Shifali Saldanha, Senior Analyst at Oracle. This interactive session offered live mentoring to student entrepreneurs from AIMIT, providing them with practical insights and guidance. Active participants included Ms. Mahalakshmi Bhat, Ms. Bianca Saldanha, Ms. Pratheekha, and Mr. Prithvi.
