ಕುಂದಾಪುರ:ಜು.24. ಜಲಪಾತ ವೀಕ್ಷಣೆಗೆ ತೆರಳಿದ್ದ ವೇಳೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಜು.23 ರಂದು ಯುವಕನೋರ್ವ ಕಾಲು ಜಾರಿ ಬಿದ್ದು ನೀರುಪಾಲಾದ ಘಟನೆ ಕೊಲ್ಲೂರು ಪೊಲೀಸ್ ಠಾಣಾ ವ್ಯಾಪ್ತಿಯ ಅರಶಿನಗುಂಡಿ ಜಲಪಾತದಲ್ಲಿ ಸಂಭವಿಸಿದೆ. ನೀರುಪಾಲಾದ ಯುವಕ. ಭದ್ರಾವತಿ ಮೂಲದ ಶರತ್ ಕುಮಾರ್ (23) ಎಂದು ತಿಳಿದು ಬಂದಿದೆ.
ಭಾನುವಾರ ಮಧ್ಯಾಹ್ನ ಕೊಲ್ಲೂರಿಗೆ ತನ್ನ ಸ್ನೇಹಿತ ಗುರುರಾಜ್ ನೊಂದಿಗೆ ಕಾರಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಬಂದಿದ್ದ ಶರತ್ ಅರಶಿನಗುಂಡಿ ಜಲಪಾತಕ್ಕೆ ತೆರಳಿದ್ದರು. ಈ ವೇಳೆ ಬಂಡೆಕಲ್ಲಿನ ಮೇಲೆ ನಿಂತು ಜಲಪಾತದಿಂದ ನೀರು ಧುಮ್ಮಿಕ್ಕುವ ದೃಶ್ಯ ನೋಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದ ವೇಳೆ ಕಾಲು ಜಾರಿ ನೀರಿನ ಸೆಳೆತದಲ್ಲಿ ಕೊಚ್ಚಿ ಹೋಫಿದ್ದಾನೆ.
