Milagres College, Kalyanpur, Udupi, Internal Quality Assurance Cell has launched a Faculty Development Program (October 04, 2024) the main objective of which is to use AI tools for innovative teaching and learning.
AI (Artificial Intelligence) can not dominate human mind said Dr Vincent Alva, the Principal addressing a gathering of faculty of the college during a faculty development programme organised by the college. Monotonous teaching doesn’t ignite fire of learning among the students he stressed. He called upon teachers to develop the quality of adaptability and positive attitude in the class rooms he continued.
Mr Royal Praveen Dsouza, Asst Professor, and Asst Dean and Dr Reji P John , Asst Professor – Economics from St Aloysius (deemed to be University) Mangalore were the resource persons.
Speaking at the inaugural Dr Reji P. John one of the resource persons said a through knowledge would facilitate an individual to become a better teacher.
Mrs Shylet Mathias welcomed the gathering and Ms Anvitha from BCA proposed vote of thanks. Ms Reshma Shetty compered the program.
Mrs Shalet Mathias, HOD of the commerce department and IQAC coordinator, Dr Jayaram Shettigar, Dean of Humanities department and faculty members were present.
