Youth Red Cross wing of IMJ Institute of Science and Commerce was inaugurated by Sri Jayakar shetty President of Indian Red Cross Kundapura. Speaking on the occasion he told that every college should have youth red cross wing and objective of the society is to serve the people on humanitarian grounds irrespective of caste, creed and religion.
The coordinator of Youth Red Cross Society, Kundapur, Sri Satyanarayan Puranik facilitated the oath taking by the students and the trainer Dr. Soni D’Costa conducted a workshop on first aid. Principal IMJISC, Dr. Prathibha M Patel in her presidential speech opined if the students incorporate the values of Red Cross in their life, they can contribute immensely to the society.
Sri Shivaram Shetty treasurer Red cross Kundapura, Staff and students were present on the occasion Prof. Shabeena H, coordinator of the college youth red cross society wing welcomed the gathering. Miss Prathibha proposed vote of thanks. Miss Nethravathi was the master of ceremony.
