ಎಲಿಯಾರ್ ಪದವ್ ಪ್ಯಾರಿಷ್‌ನ ಫಾದರ್ ಸಂತೋಷ್ ಮಿನೇಜಸ್ ಅವರನ್ನು ಮಂಗಳೂರು ಧರ್ಮಪ್ರಾಂತ್ಯದ ಬಿಷಪ್ ಡಾ.ಪೀಟರ್ ಪೌಲ್ ಸಲ್ಡಾನ್ಹಾ ಅವರು ಫಾದರ್ ಕ್ಲಿಫರ್ಡ್ ರೋಡ್ರಿಗಸ್ (ಗುರ್ಪುರ ಪ್ಯಾರಿಷ್) ಮತ್ತು ಫ್ರಾ ಪ್ರಣಾಮ್ ಫೆರ್ನಾಂಡಿಸ್ (ಪೆರ್ಮಾಯಿ ಪ್ಯಾರಿಷ್) ಅವರೊಂದಿಗೆ ಜನವರಿ 23 ರಂದು ಶಿಶು ಜೀಸಸ್ ಪುಣ್ಯಕ್ಷೇತ್ರ ಬಿಕರ್ನಕಟ್ಟೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ದೀಕ್ಷೆ ಸ್ವೀಕರಿಸಿದರು.
ಜನವರಿ 27 ರ ಶನಿವಾರದಂದು ಹೋಲಿ ಕ್ರಾಸ್ ಚರ್ಚ್‌ನಲ್ಲಿ ಫಾದರ್ ಸಂತೋಷ್ ಮೆನೇಜಸ್ ಅವರು ತಮ್ಮ ಮೊದಲ ಕೃತಜ್ಞತಾ ಸಾಮೂಹಿಕ ಅರ್ಪಿಸಿದರು.
ಫಾದರ್ ದೀಪ್ ಫೆರ್ನಾಂಡಿಸ್ ಅವರು ಧರ್ಮೋಪದೇಶವನ್ನು ಬೋಧಿಸಿದರು, ಇತರ ಅನೇಕ ಧರ್ಮಗುರುಗಳು ಧನ್ಯವಾದ ಅರ್ಪಿಸಿದರು. ಫಾದರ್ ಪ್ರದೀಪ್ ಪಿಂಟೋ ಒಸಿಡಿ ಅವರು ಟೋಸ್ಟ್ ಏರಿಸಿದ ಸಂದರ್ಭದಲ್ಲಿ ಸಾಮೂಹಿಕ ಅಭಿನಂದನೆಗಳು ನಡೆದವು, ಧರ್ಮಾಧಿಕಾರಿ ಫಾದರ್ ಜಾನ್ ಡಿಸೋಜ ಅವರು ನೂತನವಾಗಿ ದೀಕ್ಷೆ ಪಡೆದ ಧರ್ಮಗುರುಗಳಿಗೆ ಶುಭ ಹಾರೈಸಿದರು, ನಂತರ ಪೋಷಕರು, ಹಿತೈಷಿಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ಹಿತೈಷಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಅಭಿನಂದನೆ ಸಲ್ಲಿಸಿದರು. ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ ಗೋವಾ ಪ್ರಾಂತ್ಯದ ಪ್ರಾಂತೀಯರಾದ ಫಾದರ್ ಸಿಲ್ವೆಸ್ಟ್ರೆ ಡಿಸೋಜಾ ಅವರಿಗೂ ಪುಷ್ಪಗುಚ್ಛ ನೀಡಿ ಕೃತಜ್ಞತೆ ಸಲ್ಲಿಸಲಾಯಿತು. ಇದೇ ಸಂದರ್ಭದಲ್ಲಿ ನೂತನ ಅರ್ಚಕರನ್ನು ಸನ್ಮಾನಿಸಲಾಯಿತು.
ಫಾದರ್ ರುಡಾಲ್ಫ್ ಪಿಂಟೊ ಒಸಿಡಿ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮ ನಿರೂಪಿಸಿದರು.
Fr Santosh becomes the first carmalite priest of Eliar Padav Parish.
Fr Santhosh Menezes of Eliyarpadav parish was ordained by Bishop of Mangalore diocese Dr Peter Paul Saldanha at Infant jesus shrine Bikarnakatte on January 23rd along with Fr Clifford Rodrigues (Gurpur Parish) and Fr Pranam Fernandes (Permai parish).
Fr Santhosh Menezes offered his first thanksgiving mass at Holy cross church on Saturday January 27.
Fr Deep Fernandes preached the sermon, many other priests joined him in thanksgiving. Mass felicitation was held on the occasion Fr Pradeep Pinto OCD raised the toast, parish priest Fr John Dsouza wished the newly ordained priests, followed by a felicitation to the parents, benefactors, & well wishers. Fr Silvestre Dsouza , provincial of Karnataka Goa province was also felicitated and thanked by giving flower bouquet. The new priests were also felicitated during the occasion. Fr Rudolph Pinto OCD compered the program.
