ಚಿತ್ರದುರ್ಗ, ಜೂನ್ 17, 2024: ರೆ.ಫಾ. ರೊನಾಲ್ಡ್ ಡಿ’ಕುನ್ಹಾ ಅವರು ಜೂನ್ 16 ರಂದು ಸಂಜೆ 5:30 ಕ್ಕೆ ಶಿವಮೊಗ್ಗದ ಧರ್ಮಪ್ರಾಂತ್ಯದ ಚಿತ್ರದುರ್ಗ ಜಿಲ್ಲೆಯ ಹಿರಿಯೂರಿನ ಅವರ್ ಲೇಡಿ ಆಫ್ ಅಸಂಪ್ಷನ್ ಚರ್ಚ್‌ನ ಪ್ಯಾರಿಷ್ ಅರ್ಚಕರಾಗಿ ಅಧಿಕಾರ ವಹಿಸಿಕೊಂಡರು.
ನಿಷ್ಠಾವಂತರು ಫ್ರಾ ರೊನಾಲ್ಡ್ ಡಿ’ಕುನ್ಹಾ ಅವರನ್ನು ಗೇಟ್‌ನಲ್ಲಿ ಬರಮಾಡಿಕೊಂಡರು. ಹೊರಹೋಗುವ ಧರ್ಮಗುರು ಫ್ರಾಂಕ್ಲಿನ್ ಡಿಸೋಜ ಅವರನ್ನು ಹಾರ ಹಾಕಿ ಸ್ವಾಗತಿಸಿದರು.
ಬಿಷಪ್ ಅವರ ಪ್ರತಿನಿಧಿ ರೆ.ಫಾ.ರಿಚರ್ಡ್ ಅನಿಲ್ ಡಿಸೋಜ, ಹೋಲಿ ಫ್ಯಾಮಿಲಿ ಡೀನ್‌ನ ಸಮ್ಮುಖದಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರಮಾಣ ವಚನ ಸ್ವೀಕಾರ ಸಮಾರಂಭ ನಡೆಯಿತು. ಹೊರಹೋಗುವ ಪ್ಯಾರಿಷ್ ಪ್ರೀಸ್ಟ್ ರೆ.ಫಾ.ಫ್ರಾಂಕ್ಲಿನ್ ಡಿಸೋಜ ಅವರು ಧರ್ಮಗುರು ಫಾ.ರೊನಾಲ್ಡ್ ಡಿ’ಕುನ್ಹಾ ಅವರಿಗೆ ಹಸ್ತಾಂತರ ಸಮಾರಂಭದ ವಿಧಿವಿಧಾನದ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ಸ್ಟೋಲ್ ಮತ್ತು ಬೈಬಲ್ ಅನ್ನು ನೀಡಿದರು. ನಂತರ ಅವರು ಜಾನ್ 10:11-18 ರಿಂದ ದೇವರ ವಾಕ್ಯವನ್ನು ಓದಿದರು. ಅವರು ನಂಬಿಕೆಯ ವೃತ್ತಿಯೊಂದಿಗೆ ಪ್ರಮಾಣವಚನ ಸ್ವೀಕರಿಸಿದರು. ನಂತರ ಗುಡಾರದ ಕೀಲಿಕೈ ಅವರಿಗೆ ಹಸ್ತಾಂತರಿಸಲಾಯಿತು. ಫ್ರಾಂಕ್ಲಿನ್ ಡಿಸೋಜ ಅವರು ಲೆಕ್ಕಪತ್ರ ಹಾಗೂ ಪಾಲಿಕೆ ಸದಸ್ಯರ ದಾಖಲೆ ಪುಸ್ತಕವನ್ನು ಹಸ್ತಾಂತರಿಸಿದರು.
ಹಸ್ತಾಂತರ ಸಮಾರಂಭದಲ್ಲಿ ಫಾದರ್ ಯುಜಿನ್ ಲೋಬೋ ಎಸ್‌ಜೆ, ಫಾದರ್ ರೋಶನ್ ಪಿಂಟೋ, ವೆನಿಲ್ ಡಿಸಿಲ್ವಾ, ಫಾದರ್ ಕ್ಲಾರೆನ್ಸ್ ಡಯಾಸ್, ಫಾದರ್ ಜಾರ್ಜ್ ಕೆ ಎ, ಫಾದರ್ ಆಲ್ವಿನ್ ಸ್ಟಾನಿಸ್ಲಾಸ್ ಮತ್ತು ಫಾದರ್ ಪೌಲ್ ಕ್ರಾಸ್ತಾ ಉಪಸ್ಥಿತರಿದ್ದರು.
ಸಂಜೆ 6:30ಕ್ಕೆ ಫಾದರ್ ರೊನಾಲ್ಡ್ ಡಿ’ಕುನ್ಹಾ ಅವರು ಪವಿತ್ರ ಬಾಹುಬಲಿ ಆಚರಿಸಿದರು. ಫಾದರ್ ಆಲ್ವಿನ್ ಸ್ಟಾನಿಸ್ಲಾಸ್ ಪ್ರವಚನ ಬೋಧಿಸಿದರು. ಈ ದಿನವನ್ನು ಫಾದರ್ಸ್ ಡೇ ಎಂದು ಆಚರಿಸಿದ ಕಾರಣ ಮಾಸ್ ಫ್ರಾಂಕ್ಲಿನ್ ಡಿಸೋಜ ಅವರು ತಂದೆಯರಿಗಾಗಿ ವಿಶೇಷ ಪ್ರಾರ್ಥನೆ ಸಲ್ಲಿಸಿದರು.
ಹೋಲಿ ಯೂಕರಿಸ್ಟ್ ಔಟ್ ಗೋಯಿಂಗ್ ಕೊನೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ಯಾರಿಷ್ ಪಾದ್ರಿ ಫ್ರಾಂಕ್ಲಿನ್ ಡಿಸೋಜಾ ಅವರು ಫಾದರ್ ರೊನಾಲ್ಡ್ ಡಿ’ಕುನ್ಹಾ ಮತ್ತು ಅವರ್ ಲೇಡಿ ಆಫ್ ಹೆಲ್ತ್ ಮೈನರ್ ಬೆಸಿಲಿಕಾದ ರೆಕ್ಟರ್ ಫಾದರ್ ಜಾರ್ಜ್ ಕೆ ಎ ಅವರನ್ನು ಪರಿಚಯಿಸಿದರು.
ಮತ್ತು ದಾವಣಗೆರೆಯ ಲೂರ್ಡ್ಸ್ ಬಾಲಕರ ಶಾಲೆಯ ವ್ಯವಸ್ಥಾಪಕ ಮತ್ತು ಕರೆಸ್ಪಾಂಡೆಂಟ್ ಫಾದರ್ ಆಲ್ವಿನ್ ಸ್ಟಾನಿಸ್ಲಾಸ್ ಅವರನ್ನು ಪ್ಯಾರಿಷಿಯನ್ನರ ಪರವಾಗಿ ಸನ್ಮಾನಿಸಿದರು.
ಫಾದರ್ ಜಾರ್ಜ್ ಕೆ ಎ ಅವರು ಫಾದರ್ ರೊನಾಲ್ಡ್ ಡಿ’ಕುನ್ಹಾ ಅವರಿಗೆ ಅಭಿನಂದನಾ ಮಾತುಗಳನ್ನಾಡಿದರು.
ಫ್ರಾಂಕ್ಲಿನ್ ಡಿಸೋಜ ಅವರು ಧರ್ಮಪ್ರಾಂತ್ಯದ ಯುವಜನ, ವೃತ್ತಿ ಮತ್ತು ರಚನಾ ಆಯೋಗದ ಅಧಿಕಾರ ವಹಿಸಿಕೊಂಡಾಗ, ಪ್ಯಾರಿಷ್ ಪಾದ್ರಿ ಫಾ.ರೊನಾಲ್ಡ್ ಡಿ’ಕುನ್ಹಾ ಅವರನ್ನು ಅಭಿನಂದಿಸಿ ಶಾಲು ಹೊದಿಸಿ, ಹಾರ ಹಾಕಿ ಗೌರವಿಸಿದರು.

Chitradurga, June 17, 2024: Rev. Fr Ronald D’Cunha takes charge as Parish Priest of Our Lady of Assumption Church, Hiriyur, Chitradurga District, Diocese of Shimoga on June 16th 5:30pm.
Faithful received Fr Ronald D’Cunha at the gate. Out going Parish Priest Fr Franklin D’Souza welcomed him with garland.
Oath taking ceremony took place in the presence of Bishop’s representative Rev. Fr Richard Anil D’Souza, Dean of Holy Family Deanery. Out going Parish Priest Rev. Fr Franklin D’Souza presented stole and Bible as per the ritual of handing over ceremony to Rev. Fr Ronald D’Cunha. Then he read the Word of God from John 10:11-18. He took Oath together with the profession of faith. Then tabernacle key was handed over to him. Fr Franklin D’Souza also handed over books of accounts as well as the record book of Parish members.
Fr Eugene Lobo SJ, Fr Roshan Pinto, Fr Venil D’Silva, Fr Clarence Dias, Fr George K A, Fr Alvin Stanislaus and Fr Paul Crasta were present for the handing over ceremony.
At 6:30pm Fr Ronald D’Cunha celebrated Holy Eucharist. Fr Alvin Stanislaus preached the homily. End of the Mass Fr Franklin D’Souza led special prayers for the Fathers because this day was celebrated as Fathers day.
At the end of the Holy Eucharist Out going Parish Priest Fr Franklin D’Souza introduced Fr Ronald D’Cunha and Fr George K A, Rector of Our Lady of Health Minor Basilica
and Fr Alvin Stanislaus, Manager and Corresspondent of Lourdes Boys School, Davanagere felicitated him on behalf of the Parishioners.
Fr George K A spoke felicitatory words for Fr Ronald D’Cunha.
As Fr Franklin D’Souza took charge of Diocesan Youth, Vocation and Formation Commission, Parish Priest Fr Ronald D’Cunha Congratulated and honoured him with a Shawl and garland.
