ಮೈಸೂರಿನ ದೋರ್ನಹಳ್ಳಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆದ ಸಂತ ಅಂತೋನಿಯ ವಾರ್ಷಿಕ ಹಬ್ಬಕ್ಕೆ ಮುಂಚಿತವಾಗಿ ನಡೆದ ಎಂಟನೇ ಭಕ್ತಿ ದಿನ

ಸಂತ ಅಂತೋನಿಯ ವಾರ್ಷಿಕ ಹಬ್ಬಕ್ಕೆ ಸಿದ್ಧತೆಯಾಗಿ ನಡೆದ ನೊವೆನಾ ಭಕ್ತಿಯ ಎಂಟನೇ ದಿನವನ್ನು ಬುಧವಾರ, ಜೂನ್ 11, 2025 ರಂದು ಮೈಸೂರಿನ ದೋರ್ನಹಳ್ಳಿಯಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಸಂತ ಅಂತೋನಿಯ ಬೆಸಿಲಿಕಾದಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರಾರ್ಥನಾಪೂರ್ವಕವಾಗಿ ಆಚರಿಸಲಾಯಿತು. ಪವಿತ್ರ ಆಚರಣೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಭಾಗವಹಿಸಲು ಹೆಚ್ಚಿನ ಸಂಖ್ಯೆಯ ಭಕ್ತರು ಒಟ್ಟುಗೂಡಿದರು, ಆಳವಾದ ನಂಬಿಕೆ ಮತ್ತು ಭಕ್ತಿಯಿಂದ ತಮ್ಮ ಪ್ರಾರ್ಥನೆಗಳನ್ನು ಸಲ್ಲಿಸಿದರು.

ಈ ದಿನದ ಯೂಕರಿಸ್ಟಿಕ್ ಆಚರಣೆಯ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷತೆಯನ್ನು MDES (ಮೈಸೂರು ಡಯೋಸಿಸನ್ ಎಜುಕೇಷನಲ್ ಸೊಸೈಟಿ) ನ ಖಜಾಂಚಿ ರೆವರೆಂಡ್ ಫಾದರ್ ನವೀನ್ ಕುಮಾರ್ ಎ ವಹಿಸಿದ್ದರು.

“ಭರವಸೆಯೇ ದೇವರ ರಾಜ್ಯಕ್ಕೆ ದಾರಿ” ಎಂಬ ದಿನದ ವಿಷಯವು ನಮ್ಮ ಆಧ್ಯಾತ್ಮಿಕ ಪ್ರಯಾಣದಲ್ಲಿ ಭರವಸೆಯನ್ನು ಪೋಷಿಸುವ ಪ್ರಾಮುಖ್ಯತೆಯ ಮೇಲೆ ಕೇಂದ್ರೀಕರಿಸಿದೆ. ಕಷ್ಟದ ಸಮಯದಲ್ಲೂ ನಮ್ಮನ್ನು ದೇವರಿಗೆ ಹತ್ತಿರವಾಗಿಸುವಂತಹ ಭರವಸೆಯು ಹೇಗೆ ಮಾರ್ಗದರ್ಶಿ ಬೆಳಕಾಗಿ ಕಾರ್ಯನಿರ್ವಹಿಸುತ್ತದೆ ಎಂಬುದರ ಕುರಿತು ಫಾದರ್ ನವೀನ್ ತಮ್ಮ ಸಂದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿ ಸಂಕ್ಷಿಪ್ತವಾಗಿ ಪ್ರತಿಬಿಂಬಿಸಿದರು.

ಪವಿತ್ರ ಬಲಿದಾನದ ನಂತರ, ಸಂತ ಅಂತೋನಿಯ ಗೌರವಾರ್ಥ ನೊವೆನಾ ಪ್ರಾರ್ಥನೆಗಳನ್ನು ಪಠಿಸಲಾಯಿತು, ಹಾಜರಿದ್ದ ಎಲ್ಲರ ಉದ್ದೇಶಗಳಿಗಾಗಿ ಅವರ ಮಧ್ಯಸ್ಥಿಕೆಯನ್ನು ಕೋರಲಾಯಿತು. ಸಂತ ಅಂತೋನಿಯ ಪವಿತ್ರ ಪ್ರತಿಮೆಯ ಮೆರವಣಿಗೆ ಮತ್ತು ಪೂಜ್ಯ ಸಂಸ್ಕಾರದ ಆಶೀರ್ವಾದದೊಂದಿಗೆ ಭಕ್ತಿಯು ಮುಕ್ತಾಯವಾಯಿತು, ಭಕ್ತರು ಆಧ್ಯಾತ್ಮಿಕವಾಗಿ ಶ್ರೀಮಂತರು ಮತ್ತು ಭರವಸೆಯಿಂದ ತುಂಬಿದರು.

Eighth Day of Devotion Preceding the Annual Feast of St Anthony Held at Dornahalli, Mysore

The eighth day of the Novena devotion in preparation for the Annual Feast of St Anthony was prayerfully observed on Wednesday, June 11, 2025, at St Anthony’s Basilica, Dornahalli, Mysore. A large number of devotees gathered to take part in the sacred celebrations, offering their prayers with deep faith and devotion.

The Eucharistic celebration for the day was presided over by Rev. Fr. Naveen Kumar A, Treasurer of MDES (Mysore Diocesan Educational Society).

The theme of the day, “Hope is the way to the Kingdom of God,” focused on the importance of nurturing hope in our spiritual journey. In his message, Fr. Naveen briefly reflected on how hope acts as a guiding light, leading us closer to God even in times of difficulty.

After the Holy Mass, the Novena prayers in honour of St Anthony were recited, invoking his intercession for the intentions of all present. The devotion concluded with the Procession of the Holy Statue of St Anthony and the Benediction of the Blessed Sacrament, leaving the faithful spiritually enriched and hopeful.
