Eighth Day Novena at Stella Maris Church, Kalmady
The Eighthday Novena prayers in preparation of the proclamation and Dedication of Our Lady of Vailankanni centre at Kalmady as a diocesan Shrine, was held on August 13th, Saturday. V. Rev. Fr Alban D’Souza, Rector of St. Lawrence Minor Basilica, Attur, conducted the novena prayers for the intentions of the Children. In his Homily Fr Alban said that, “parents should correct the children when they are wrong and children should not disobey their parents. Don’t make your children inactive, give them religious values and moral values, increase their faith in God”.
The Parish Priest of Stella Maris Church, Kalmady Rev. Fr Baptist Menezes, Asst Parish Priest Rev. Fr Roy Lobo, con-celebrated the Mass alongwith V. Rev. Fr Alban D’Souza.The choir was from the St. Lawrence Minor Basilica, Attur.
Feast of Our Lady of Vailankanni, Proclamation and Dedication of Our Lady of Vailanknni Centre at Kalmady as a diocesan Shrine and the Golden Jubilee Celebration of Stella Maris Church, Kalmady will be celebrated on August 15th, 2022.
ಕಲ್ಮಾಡಿ ಸ್ಟೆಲ್ಲಾ ಮಾರಿಸ್ ಚರ್ಚಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಎಂಟನೇ ದಿನದ ನೊವೆನಾ ಪ್ರಾರ್ಥನೆ
ಕಲ್ಮಾಡಿ ವೆಲಂಕಣಿ ಮಾತೆಯ ವಾರ್ಷಿಕ ಪ್ರತಿಷ್ಠಾಪನಾ ಮಹೋತ್ಸವದ ಪ್ರಯುಕ್ತ ಎಂಟನೇ ದಿನದ ನೊವೆನಾ ಪ್ರಾರ್ಥನೆಯನ್ನು ಅತ್ತೂರು ಮೈನರ್‌ ಬಸಿಲಿಕಾದ ರೆಕ್ಟರ್‌ ಆಗಿರುವವಂ|ಆಲ್ಬನ್‌ ಡಿʼಸೋಜಾ ಅವರು ಮಕ್ಕಳಿಗಾಗಿ ನಡೆಸಿದರು. ಅವರು ತಮ್ಮ ಸಂದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿ, ಪೋಷಕರು ತಮ್ಮ ಮಕ್ಕಳು ತಪ್ಪು ಮಾಡುವಾಗ ತಿದ್ದಬೇಕು, ಹಾಗೆನೇ ಮಕ್ಕಳು ತಮ್ಮ ಪೋಷಕರನ್ನು ಗೌರವಿಸಬೇಕು. ಮಕ್ಕಳು ಸದಾ ಚುರುಕಾಗಿರಬೇಕು, ಮಕ್ಕಳಿಗೆ ದಾರ್ಮಿಕ ಮೌಲ್ಯಗಳನ್ನು ನೀಡಬೇಕು ಎಂದರು.
ಈ ವೇಳೆ ಚರ್ಚಿನ ಪ್ರಧಾನ ಧರ್ಮಗುರುಗಳಾದ ವಂ| ಬ್ಯಾಪ್ಟಿಸ್ಟ್ ಮಿನೇಜಸ್, ಸಹಾಯಕ ಧರ್ಮಗುರುಗಳಾದ ವಂ|ರೋಯ್ ಲೋಬೊ, ಇವರು ಬಲಿಪೂಜೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಪಾಲ್ಗೊಂಡರು.ಅತ್ತೂರು ಚರ್ಚಿನ ಗಾಯನ ಮಂಡಳಿಯು ಬಲಿಪೂಜೆಯ ವೇಳೆಗಾಯನಕ್ಕೆ ನೆರವಾದರು.
ಕಲ್ಮಾಡಿಯಲ್ಲಿರುವ ವೆಲಂಕಣಿ ಮಾತೆಯ ಕೇಂದ್ರವನ್ನು ಉಡುಪಿ ಧರ್ಮಪ್ರಾಂತ್ಯದ ಅಧಿಕೃತ ಪುಣ್ಯಕ್ಷೇತ್ರವೆಂದು ಘೋಷಣೆ ಮತ್ತು ಚರ್ಚಿನ ಸುವರ್ಣ ಮಹೋತ್ಸವನ್ನು ಆಗೋಸ್ಟ್15 ರಂದು ಆಯೋಜಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ.
