ಶಿವಮೊಗ್ಗ, ಆಗಸ್ಟ್ 12, 2024; ಶಿವಮೊಗ್ಗ ಧರ್ಮಪ್ರಾಂತ್ಯವು ಆಗಸ್ಟ್ 11 ರಂದು ಶಿವಮೊಗ್ಗದ ಭದ್ರಾವತಿಯ ಕಾರೇಹಳ್ಳಿಯ ಸಂತ ಅಂತೋನಿಯವರ ಪುಣ್ಯಕ್ಷೇತ್ರದಲ್ಲಿ ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೀಯ ಯುವ ಭಾನುವಾರವನ್ನು ಆಚರಿಸಿತು. ಈ ಸಂದರ್ಭದಲ್ಲಿ ಶಿವಮೊಗ್ಗ ಧರ್ಮಪ್ರಾಂತ್ಯದ ಕಾರ್ಮೆಲ್ ಡೀನರಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮವನ್ನು ಆಯೋಜಿಸಲಾಗಿದ್ದು, ಧರ್ಮಪ್ರಾಂತ್ಯದ ಯುವ ಸಂಚಾಲಕ ಫಾ.ಫ್ರಾಂಕ್ಲಿನ್ ಡಿಸೋಜ, ಕಾರ್ಮೆಲ್ ಡೀನರಿ ಯುವ ಸಂಚಾಲಕ ಫಾ.ಕ್ರಿಸ್ತ ರಾಜ್ ಎಸ್.ಡಿ.ಬಿ. ಸಂತೋಷ ಅಲ್ಮೇಡಾ, ಕಾರೇಹಳ್ಳಿ ಸಂತ ಅಂತೋನಿ ಪುಣ್ಯಕ್ಷೇತ್ರದ ಧರ್ಮಗುರು.
ಶಿವಮೊಗ್ಗ ಧರ್ಮಪ್ರಾಂತ್ಯದ ಬಿಷಪ್ ಡಾ.ಫ್ರಾನ್ಸಿಸ್ ಸೆರಾವೋ ಎಸ್.ಜೆ.ಯವರ ನೇತೃತ್ವದಲ್ಲಿ ಬೆಳಗ್ಗೆ 9 ಗಂಟೆಗೆ ಪವಿತ್ರ ಪ್ರಸಾದದೊಂದಿಗೆ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮ ಪ್ರಾರಂಭವಾಯಿತು. ಧರ್ಮಪ್ರಾಂತ್ಯದ ಯುವ ಸಂಚಾಲಕರಾದ ವಂದನೀಯ ಫಾ.ಫ್ರಾಂಕ್ಲಿನ್ ಡಿಸೋಜ ಅವರು ಯುವಜನರ ಪರವಾಗಿ ಬಿಷಪ್ ಫ್ರಾನ್ಸಿಸ್ ಸೆರಾವೋ ಎಸ್.ಜೆ ಅವರನ್ನು ಸ್ವಾಗತಿಸಿದರು.
ಬಿಷಪ್ ಅವರು “ಜೀಸಸ್ ಜೀವನದ ಬ್ರೆಡ್” ಕುರಿತು ಬೋಧಿಸಿದರು. ನಾವು ದೇವರ ಜನರು ಲಾರ್ಡ್ ಜೀಸಸ್ನ ಬೋಧನೆಯನ್ನು ಅನುಸರಿಸುತ್ತೇವೆ ಮತ್ತು ಸುವಾರ್ತೆಯ ಮೌಲ್ಯಗಳನ್ನು ಅಳವಡಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತೇವೆ. ಅವರು ಲ್ಯೂಕ್ 16: 19-31 ಮತ್ತು ಲ್ಯೂಕ್ 22: 37-40 ರಿಂದ ಉದಾಹರಣೆಗಳನ್ನು ನೀಡಿದರು. ನಾವು ದೇವರನ್ನು ನೋಡುತ್ತಾ ಸ್ವರ್ಗವನ್ನು ಹುಡುಕುವ ಜನರು. ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೀಯ ಯುವ ಭಾನುವಾರವನ್ನು ಆಚರಿಸಲು CCBI ಯೂತ್ ಕಮಿಷನ್ ಇಂಡಿಯನ್ ಕ್ಯಾಥೋಲಿಕ್ ಚರ್ಚ್ ಅನ್ನು ಆಹ್ವಾನಿಸಿದ್ದರಿಂದ ಅವರು ಯುವಕರಿಗಾಗಿ ವಿಶೇಷವಾಗಿ ಪ್ರಾರ್ಥಿಸಿದರು.
ಪವಿತ್ರ ಯೂಕರಿಸ್ಟ್ ಪ್ಯಾರಿಷ್‌ನ ಕೊನೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಕಾರ್ಮೆಲ್ ಡೀನರಿ ಯುವ ನಿರ್ದೇಶಕ ರೆ.ಫಾ. ಕ್ರಿಸ್ಟು ರಾಜ್ ಎಸ್‌ಡಿಬಿ ಅವರು ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೀಯ ಯುವ ಭಾನುವಾರವನ್ನು ಪವಿತ್ರ ಯೂಕರಿಸ್ಟ್‌ನೊಂದಿಗೆ ಉದ್ಘಾಟಿಸಿ ಯುವಕರಿಗಾಗಿ ಪ್ರಾರ್ಥಿಸಿದ್ದಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಬಿಷಪ್ ಅವರಿಗೆ ಧನ್ಯವಾದ ಅರ್ಪಿಸಿದರು.
ಎಂಬಿಎಯಲ್ಲಿ 8ನೇ ರ್ಯಾಂಕ್ ಪಡೆದ ಯುವತಿ ಬೆನಿಟಾ ಅವರನ್ನು ಕಾರೇಹಳ್ಳಿಯ ಸೇಂಟ್ ಅಂತೋನಿ ಚರ್ಚ್‌ನಲ್ಲಿ ಬಿಷಪ್ ಸನ್ಮಾನಿಸಿದರು. ಹೋಲಿ ಬೈಬಲ್ ಬಿಹಾರ್ಟ್‌ನ ಎಲ್ಲಾ 73 ಪುಸ್ತಕಗಳನ್ನು ಉಲ್ಲೇಖಿಸಿದ್ದಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಅವರು ಮಗು ಬೆನಿಟಾ ಅವರನ್ನು ಗೌರವಿಸಿದರು. ಧರ್ಮಗುರುಗಳಾದ ಸಂತೋಷ್ ಅಲ್ಮೇಡಾ ಬಿಷಪ್ ಧನ್ಯವಾದವಿತ್ತರು.
ಆಗಸ್ಟ್ 15 ರಂದು ಬಿಷಪ್ ಫ್ರಾನ್ಸಿಸ್ ಸೆರಾವೊ ಎಸ್ಜೆ ತಮ್ಮ ಜನ್ಮದಿನವನ್ನು ಆಚರಿಸುತ್ತಾರೆ. ಯುವಜನರು ಬಿಷಪ್ ಹಾರೈಸಿದರು ಮತ್ತು ಬಿಷಪ್ ಮತ್ತು ಧರ್ಮಪ್ರಾಂತ್ಯದ ಪರವಾಗಿ ಫ್ರಾಂಕ್ಲಿನ್ ಡಿಸೋಜ ಅವರು ವಿಶೇಷ ಪ್ರಾರ್ಥನೆ ನಡೆಸಿದರು.
ಪವಿತ್ರ ಬಲಿಪೂಜೆಯ ನಂತರ ಕಾರ್ಮೆಲ್ ಡೀನರಿ ಯೂತ್ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷ ಶ್ರೀ ವಿಜಯ್ ಆಂಟೋನಿ ಹೋಲಿ ಕ್ರಾಸ್ ಅನ್ನು ಮೆರವಣಿಗೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಮೂರನೇ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದ ಸಭಾಂಗಣಕ್ಕೆ ನಡೆಸಿದರು. ಸಭಾಂಗಣದಲ್ಲಿ ಕ್ರಾಸ್ ನಿರ್ಮಿಸಲಾಯಿತು. ಪ್ರತಿಯೊಬ್ಬ ಯುವಕರು ಪ್ರತಿಯೊಬ್ಬರ ಮೇಲೆ ಶಾಂತಿ ಮತ್ತು ಆಶೀರ್ವಾದವನ್ನು ಸಂಕೇತಿಸುವ ಬಿಳಿ ಟೇಪ್ ಅನ್ನು ಕಟ್ಟಿದರು.
ಶ್ರೀ ಅಂತೋನಿ ನಿಖಿಲ್, ಫಾದರ್ ಕ್ರಿಸ್ಟು ರಾಜ್ ಎಸ್‌ಡಿಬಿ ಮತ್ತು ತಂಡವು ಅನಿಮೇಷನ್ ನೇತೃತ್ವ ವಹಿಸಿದೆ.
ಬೆಳಗ್ಗೆ 11 ಗಂಟೆಗೆ ಆರಂಭವಾದ ವೇದಿಕೆ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದ ಮುಖ್ಯ ಅತಿಥಿಗಳಾಗಿ ಶಿವಮೊಗ್ಗ ಧರ್ಮಪ್ರಾಂತ್ಯದ ಯುವ ಸಂಚಾಲಕ ಫಾ.ಫ್ರಾಂಕ್ಲಿನ್ ಡಿಸೋಜ, ಕಾರ್ಮೆಲ್ ಡೀನರಿಯ ಯುವ ನಿರ್ದೇಶಕ ಫಾ.ಕ್ರಿಸ್ತ ರಾಜ್ ಎಸ್.ಡಿ.ಬಿ. ಸಂತೋಷ್ ಅಲ್ಮೇಡಾ, ಪ್ಯಾರಿಷ್ ಅರ್ಚಕ ಸಂತ ಅಂತೋನಿ ಪುಣ್ಯಕ್ಷೇತ್ರ, ಕಾರೇಹಳ್ಳಿ, ಸೀನಿಯರ್ ಜಯಂತಿ, ಕಾರ್ಮೆಲ್ ಡೀನರಿ ಲೇಡಿ ಅನಿಮೇಟರ್, ಕಾರೇಹಳ್ಳಿ, ಶ್ರೀಮತಿ ಪ್ರಿಯಾ ಮರಿಯಾ ಡಿಸೋಜಾ, ಐಸಿವೈಎಂ ಡಯೋಸಿಸನ್ ಯುವ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷೆ, ಶ್ರೀಮತಿ ಜೆಸ್ವಿತಾ ಡಿಸೋಜಾ, ವೈಸಿಎಸ್/ವೈಎಸ್‌ಎಂ ಪ್ರಾದೇಶಿಕ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷರು, ಕಾರ್ಮೆಲ್ ಡೀನರಿ ಯೂತ್ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷ ವಿಜಯ್ ಆಂಟೋನಿ ಮತ್ತು ಕಾರೇಹಳ್ಳಿಯ ಐಸಿವೈಎಂ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷೆ ಸ್ಮಿತಾ.
ಫ್ರಾಂಕ್ಲಿನ್ ಡಿಸೋಜ ಅವರು ನಾಯಕನ ಗುಣಗಳ ಕುರಿತು ಮಾತನಾಡಿದರು. ಪ್ರಭು ಯೇಸುವಿನಂತೆ ನಾಯಕನು ಮಾದರಿಯಾಗಬೇಕು ಎಂದರು. ಅವರು ಅಕ್ಷರದ ನಾಯಕನ ಪ್ರತಿಯೊಂದು ವರ್ಣಮಾಲೆಯನ್ನು ವಿವರಿಸಿದರು; ಪ್ರೀತಿಸುವ, ಪ್ರೋತ್ಸಾಹಿಸುವ, ಸಮರ್ಥ, ಶಿಸ್ತು, ಉತ್ಸಾಹಿ ಮತ್ತು ವಿಶ್ವಾಸಾರ್ಹ. ಋಣಾತ್ಮಕತೆಯನ್ನು ಸೋಲಿಸಿ ಸಕಾರಾತ್ಮಕ ಮನಸ್ಸಿನಿಂದ ಮುನ್ನಡೆಯಲು ಯುವ ನಾಯಕರನ್ನು ಆಹ್ವಾನಿಸಿದರು.
ಫಾದರ್ ಕ್ರಿಸ್ಟು ರಾಜ್ ಎಸ್‌ಡಿಬಿ ಅವರು “ಪ್ಯಾರಿಷ್‌ಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಯುವ ಗುಂಪುಗಳನ್ನು ಹೇಗೆ ನಿರ್ಮಿಸುವುದು” ಕುರಿತು ಮಾತನಾಡಿದರು. ಅದರ ಅನುಕೂಲಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ನಮ್ಮ ಪ್ಯಾರಿಷ್, ಡೀನರಿ ಮತ್ತು ಧರ್ಮಪ್ರಾಂತ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಯುವಜನರನ್ನು ಏಕೆ ಸಂಘಟಿಸಬೇಕೆಂದು ವಿವರಿಸಿದರು.
Fr ಸಂತೋಷ್ ಅಲ್ಮೇಡಾ ಅವರು “ಸಾಮಾಜಿಕ ಜಾಲತಾಣಗಳ ಅನುಕೂಲಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ಅನಾನುಕೂಲಗಳು” ಕುರಿತು ಮಾತನಾಡಿದರು. ಸಾಮಾಜಿಕ ಜಾಲತಾಣಗಳ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಯುವಕರ ಭಾಷೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ವ್ಯವಸ್ಥಿತವಾಗಿ ವಿವರಿಸಿದರು. ನಾವು ಬಳಕೆಯಾಗಬಾರದು ಆದರೆ ನಾವು ಯುವ ಜೀವನದಲ್ಲಿ ಸಾಮಾಜಿಕ ಮಾಧ್ಯಮವನ್ನು ಸಂಯೋಜಿಸಬೇಕು ಎಂದು ಅವರು ಹೇಳಿದರು.
ಧರ್ಮಪ್ರಾಂತ್ಯದ ಯುವ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷೆ ಪ್ರಿಯಾ ಮರಿಯಾ ಡಿಸೋಜಾ ಅವರು “ಯುವ ಕೂಟದ ಮಹತ್ವ ಮತ್ತು ಅದರ ಅನುಕೂಲಗಳು” ಕುರಿತು ಮಾತನಾಡಿದರು. ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೀಯ ಯುವ ಭಾನುವಾರವನ್ನು ಆಚರಿಸಲು ಯುವಕರು ಹೆಚ್ಚಿನ ಸಂಖ್ಯೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಸೇರಿದ್ದಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಅವರು ಅಭಿನಂದಿಸಿದರು.
ಮಧ್ಯಾಹ್ನ 12 ಗಂಟೆಗೆ ಸಂಪನ್ಮೂಲ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಿಗಳು; ಶಿವಮೊಗ್ಗದ ಮೇಡಂ ಬ್ರಿಡ್ಗಿಟ್ ವರ್ಗೀಸ್ ಅವರು ತಮ್ಮ ಅನುಭವಗಳನ್ನು ಹಂಚಿಕೊಂಡರು ಮತ್ತು ಅಲ್ಪಸಂಖ್ಯಾತರ ಇಲಾಖೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಲಭ್ಯವಿರುವ ಸೌಲಭ್ಯಗಳನ್ನು ಹೇಗೆ ಬಳಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳಬೇಕು ಮತ್ತು ಭವಿಷ್ಯದ ವೃತ್ತಿ ಮಾರ್ಗದರ್ಶನಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಹೇಗೆ ಯೋಜಿಸಬೇಕು ಎಂಬುದರ ಕುರಿತು ಸಲಹೆಗಳನ್ನು ನೀಡಿದರು. ನಂತರ ಬೆಂಗಳೂರಿನ ಶ್ರೀ ಬರ್ಟಿನ್ ಎಡ್ವರ್ಡ್ ಮೆಂಡೋನ್ಸಾ ಅವರು ಐಟಿ ಕ್ಷೇತ್ರದಲ್ಲಿ ಯುವಕರಿಗೆ ಅವಕಾಶಗಳು ಕುರಿತು ಮಾತನಾಡಿದರು.
ಮಧ್ಯಾಹ್ನ 2 ಗಂಟೆಗೆ ಊಟದ ನಂತರ, ICYM ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷೆ ಶ್ರೀಮತಿ ಮರಿಯಾ ಪ್ರಿಯಾ ಡಿಸೋಜಾ ಮತ್ತು YCS/YSM ಪ್ರಾದೇಶಿಕ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷೆ ಶ್ರೀಮತಿ ಜೆಸ್ವಿತಾ ಡಿಸೋಜಾ ಮತ್ತು ತಂಡದವರು ಅನಿಮೇಷನ್ ನೇತೃತ್ವ ವಹಿಸಿದರು. ಯುವಜನರ ಕ್ರೀಡಾಕೂಟಕ್ಕೆ ಫಾದರ್ ಕ್ರಿಸ್ತು ರಾಜ್ ಎಸ್ ಡಿಬಿ ನೇತೃತ್ವ ನೀಡಿದ್ದು, ವಿಜೇತರಿಗೆ ಫ್ರಾಂಕ್ಲಿನ್ ಡಿಸೋಜ ಬಹುಮಾನ ವಿತರಿಸಿದರು.
ನಂತರ ICYM & YCS/YSM ಯುವ ಆಂದೋಲನವು ತಮ್ಮ ಜೀವನದಲ್ಲಿ ಭಯದ ಸಂಕೀರ್ಣವನ್ನು ಸೋಲಿಸಿ ಮತ್ತು ವೇದಿಕೆಯ ಭಯವನ್ನು ಹೋಗಲಾಡಿಸುವ ಮೂಲಕ ಹೆಚ್ಚು ಸಕ್ರಿಯ ಮತ್ತು ರೋಮಾಂಚಕರಾಗಲು ಹೇಗೆ ಸಹಾಯ ಮಾಡಿದೆ ಎಂಬುದರ ಕುರಿತು ಯುವಕರು ತಮ್ಮ ಸಾಕ್ಷ್ಯ ಮತ್ತು ಅನುಭವಗಳನ್ನು ಹಂಚಿಕೊಂಡರು. ಇದು ಕಣ್ಣು ತೆರೆಸುವ ಮತ್ತು ಪ್ರೇರೇಪಿಸುವ ಅಧಿವೇಶನವಾಗಿತ್ತು.
ಶಿವಮೊಗ್ಗ ಧರ್ಮಪ್ರಾಂತ್ಯದ ಯುವ ಸಂಚಾಲಕರಾದ ವಂದನೀಯ ಫ್ರಾಂಕ್ಲಿನ್ ಡಿಸೋಜ ಅವರ ನೇತೃತ್ವದ ಭಾವಪೂರ್ಣ ಆರಾಧನೆಯೊಂದಿಗೆ ದಿನವು ಮುಕ್ತಾಯಗೊಂಡಿತು. ಅವರು ಯೆಶಾಯ 40:31 ಎಂಬ ವಿಷಯದ ಕುರಿತು ಮಾತನಾಡಿದರು ಮತ್ತು ಲಾರ್ಡ್ ಜೀಸಸ್ ಕ್ರೈಸ್ಟ್ ಅನ್ನು ಪ್ರೀತಿಸಲು ಮತ್ತು ಅವರ ಮಾರ್ಗವನ್ನು ಸತ್ಯವಾಗಿ ಮತ್ತು ಉದ್ದೇಶಪೂರ್ವಕವಾಗಿ ಅನುಸರಿಸಲು ಯುವಕರನ್ನು ಆಹ್ವಾನಿಸಿದರು. ಅವರು ಯುವಕರನ್ನು ಪಶ್ಚಾತ್ತಾಪಕ್ಕೆ ಕರೆದೊಯ್ದರು ಮತ್ತು ಯುವಕರಿಗಾಗಿ ಪ್ರಾರ್ಥಿಸುವ ಮೂಲಕ ಅವರು ಗುಣಪಡಿಸುವ ಅಧಿವೇಶನವನ್ನು ನಡೆಸಿದರು.
ಕಾರ್ಮೆಲ್ ಡೀನರಿ ಉಪಾಧ್ಯಕ್ಷೆ ಲೆನ್ನಿ ಡೇಸಾ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮ ನಿರೂಪಿಸಿದರು. ಕಾರ್ಮೆಲ್ ಡೀನರಿ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮ ಸಂಯೋಜಕ ಶ್ರೀ ಗಗನ್ ರಾಜ್ ವಂದಿಸಿದರು.

Diocese of Shimoga celebrated National Youth Day
Shivamogga, August 12, 2024; Diocese of Shimoga celebrated National Youth Sunday on August 11th at St. Anthony’s Shrine, Karehalli, Bhadravati, Shivamogga. On this occasion, a program was organized at the Carmel Deanary in the Diocese of Shimoga, under the guidance of of Rev. Fr Franklin D’Souza, Diocesan Youth Director, Rev. Fr Christu Raj SDB, Carmel Deanery Youth Director and Rev. Fr Santhosh Almeida, Parish Priest of St. Anthony shrine, Karehalli.
The program began with Holy Eucharist at 9am led by Most Rev. Dr Francis Serrao SJ, Bishop of Diocese of Shimoga. Rev. Fr Franklin D’Souza, Diocesan Youth Director welcomed Bishop Francis Serrao SJ on behalf of the Youth.
Bishop preached on “Jesus is the bread of Life”. We the people of God follow the teaching of Lord Jesus and inculcate values of the Gospel. He gave examples from Luke 16:19-31 and Luke 22: 37-40. We are people who seek heaven by looking at God. He specially prayed for the Youth as CCBI Youth Commission invited Indian Catholic Church to celebrate National Youth Sunday.
End of the Holy Eucharist Parish Priest Rev. Fr Christu Raj SDB, Carmel Deanery Youth Director, thanked Bishop for inaugurating National Youth Sunday with Holy Eucharist and praying for the youth.
Bishop felicitated Youth Ms. Benita from St. Anthony’s Church, Karehalli as she secured 8th Rank in MBA. He also honoured child Benita for mentioning all the 73 books of Holy Bible biheart. Parish Priest Fr Santhosh Almeida thanked Bishop.
As Bishop Francis Serrao SJ celebrates his birthday on August 15th. Youth wished Bishop and Fr Franklin D’Souza led special prayer for the Bishop and for the Diocese.
After the Holy Eucharist, Carmel Deanery Youth President Mr. Vijay Antony led Holy Cross in the procession to thd programme hall. Cross was erected in the Hall. Every Youth tied the white tape symbolising peace and blessings on each one of them.

Fr Franklin D’Souza spoke on “Qualities of a leader”. He said that a leader should be a role model like Lord Jesus. He explained each alphabet of the letter leader saying that; Loving, Encouraging, Able, Discipline, Enthusiastic and Reliable. He invited young leaders to defeat negativity and go ahead with positive mind.
Fr Christu Raj SDB spoke on “How to build Youth groups in the Parishes”. He explained its advantages and why Youth need to be organised in our Parishes, Deanery and in the Diocese.
Fr Santhosh Almeida spoke on “Advantages and Disadvantages of social networks”. He systematically explained in the language of the youth about Social media. He said we shouldn’t be used but we should integrate social media in Youth life.
Diocesan Youth President Ms. Priya Maria D’Souza spoke on “Importance of Youth gathering and it’s advantages “. She congratulated Youth for gathering in a big number to celebrate the National Youth Sunday.
At 12pm Resource persons; Madam Bridgit Varghese from Shivamogga shared her experiences and offered suggestions on how to utilize the available facilities in Minority Department and plan for future Career Guidance. Then Mr. Bertin Edward Mendonsa from Bangalore, spoke on Opportunities for the youth in the IT field.
After the Lunch at 2pm, ICYM President Ms. Maria Priya D’Souza and YCS/YSM Regional President Ms. Jesvita D’Souza and team led the animation. Fr Christu Raj SDB led the games for the youth and Fr Franklin D’Souza distributed the prizes for the winners.
Then Youth shared their testimonies and experiences on how the ICYM & YCS/YSM Youth movement has helped them to be more active and vibrant by defeating fear complex and overcoming the stage fear in their lives. It was a eye-opening and motivating session.
The day concluded with a soulful Adoration led by Rev. Fr Franklin D’Souza, Youth Director of Shimoga Diocese. He spoke on the theme Isaiah 40:31 and invited Youth to love Lord Jesus Christ and follow his path truthfully and willfully. He led the youth in to Repentance and he led the healing session by praying for the youth.
Carmel Deanery Vice President Ms. Lenny Desa compered the Program. Carmel Deanery Program Coordinator Mr. Gagan Raj proposed vote of thanks.
