ಕುಂದಾಪುರ,ಫೆ.28;: ಸಾಸ್ತಾನದ ಬಳಿ ಗುಂಡ್ಮಿ ಎಂಬಲ್ಲಿ ಕಾರು ಮತ್ತು ಬೈಕ್ ನಡುವೆ ನಡೆದ ಅಪಘಾತದಲ್ಲಿ ಮಧ್ಯವಯಸ್ಕೊನೊಬ್ಬ ಸ್ಥಳದಲ್ಲೆ ಮೃತಪಟ್ಟ ದುರಾದ್ರಷ್ಟಕರ ಘಟನೆ ನಡೆದಿದೆ.
ಕಾರು ಮತ್ತು ಬೈಕ್ ನಡುವೆ ಡಿಕ್ಕಿಯಾದ ಪರಿಣಾಮ ಬೈಕ್ ಸವಾರ ಸ್ಥಳದಲ್ಲೇ ಮೃತಪಟ್ಟಿದ್ದಾನೆ ಎಂದು ತಿಳಿದು ಬಂದಿದೆ. ಮ್ರತಪಟ್ಟ ದುರ್ಧೈವಿ ಕೋಟ ಬನ್ನಾಡಿ ಮೂಲದ ಸುಭಾಷ್ ಅಮೀನ್ (೪೫) ಎಂದು ತಿಳಿದು ಬಂದಿದೆ. ಇವರು ವ್ರತ್ತಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಗುತ್ತಿಗೆದಾರರೆಂದು ತಿಳಿದು ಬಂದಿದೆ,
ಕುಂದಾಪುರ ಕಡೆಯಿಂದ ಉಡುಪಿಯತ್ತ ಸಾಗುತ್ತಿದ್ದ ಕಾರು ಸಾಗುತಿದ್ದಾಗ ಈ ಘಟನೆ ಟೋಲ್ ಪ್ಲಾಜಾದ ಸಮೀಪ ಭಾನುವಾರ ಸಂಭವಿಸಿದೆ. ಕುಂದಾಪುರ ಚರ್ಚ್ ಧರ್ಮಗುರುಗಳಾದ ವಂ|ಸ್ಟ್ಯಾನಿ ತಾವ್ರೊ ಅವರು ಚಲಾಯಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದರೆನ್ನಾಲಾದ ಕಾರು ಇದಾಗಿದ್ದು ಅವರು ಕಾರ್ಯನಿಮಿತ್ತ ಉಡುಪಿಗೆ ತೆರಳುತ್ತಿದ್ದರು. ಕೋಟ ಪೊಲೀಸರು ಸ್ಥಳಕ್ಕೆ ಭೇಟಿ ನೀಡಿ ಪ್ರಕರಣ ದಾಖಲಿಸಿಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ.

ನಮ್ಮಲ್ಲಿ ರಸ್ತೆಯ ನಿಯಮಗಳನ್ನು ಗೌರವಿಸುವುದಿಲ್ಲಾ. ಹೇಗೆ ಬೇಕೆಂದರೆ ವಾಹನ ಚಲಾಯಿಸುವುದು ೠಡಿಯಾಗಿದೆ. ಯಾವಗ ವಾಹನ ಚಾಲನೇಯ ಸಂದರ್ಭ ರಸ್ತೆ ಸುರಕ್ಷತೆಯ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಯೋಚಿಸುವುದಿಲ್ಲವೊ, ಹಾಗೇ ಸುರಕ್ಷಿತವಾದ ಸಂಚಾರಿ ರಸ್ತೆಗಳನ್ನು ನಿರ್ಮಿಸುವುದಿಲ್ಲವೋ ಇಂತಹ ಅಪಘಾತ ಸಾವುಗಳು ಸಂಭವಿಸುತ್ತಲೇ ಇರುತ್ತವೆ. ಮತ್ತು ಪ್ರಪಂಚದಲ್ಲಿಯೆ ಅಗಾಧ ಮಟ್ಟದಲ್ಲಿ ಸಾವು ಸಂಭವಿಸುವ ಹೆಗ್ಗಳಿಕೆ ನಮ್ಮದೆ ಆಗುತ್ತದೆ.
