ಸಂತೇಕಟ್ಟೆಯ ಮೌಂಟ್ ರೋಸರಿ ಚರ್ಚ್, ‘ಬೈಬಲ್ ಗಾಜವ್ಣಿ’ (ಇಡೀ ದಿನ ಬೈಬಲ್ ಘೋಷಣೆ) ಭಾನುವಾರ, ಮಾರ್ಚ್ 2, 2025 ರಂದು ಬೆಳಿಗ್ಗೆ 7:30 ರಿಂದ ಸಂಜೆ 6:00 ರವರೆಗೆ ನಡೆದಾಗ, ನಂಬಿಕೆ ಮತ್ತು ಭಕ್ತಿಯ ಆಳವಾದ ದಿನಕ್ಕೆ ಸಾಕ್ಷಿಯಾಯಿತು. ಆಧ್ಯಾತ್ಮಿಕವಾಗಿ ಸಮೃದ್ಧಗೊಳಿಸುವ ಈ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮವು ಪಾದ್ರಿಗಳು, ಪ್ಯಾರಿಷ್ ನಾಯಕರು ಮತ್ತು ನಿಷ್ಠಾವಂತರನ್ನು ಒಟ್ಟುಗೂಡಿಸಿ ‘ದೇವರ ವಾಕ್ಯ’ವನ್ನು ಭಕ್ತಿ ಮತ್ತು ಸಮರ್ಪಣೆಯೊಂದಿಗೆ ಘೋಷಿಸಲು ಸಾಮೂಹಿಕ ಪ್ರಯತ್ನ ಮಾಡಿತು.
ದಿನವು ಗಂಭೀರ ಮೆರವಣಿಗೆಯೊಂದಿಗೆ ಪ್ರಾರಂಭವಾಯಿತು, ಅಲ್ಲಿ ಪುರೋಹಿತರು, ಬೈಬಲ್ ಆಯೋಗದ ಸಂಚಾಲಕಿ ಶ್ರೀಮತಿ ಸಿಂಥಿಯಾ ಡಿಸಿಲ್ವಾ ಮತ್ತು ಚರ್ಚ್ ಸಾಮಾನ್ಯ ನಾಯಕತ್ವವು ಬೈಬಲ್ ಅನ್ನು ಭಕ್ತಿಯಿಂದ ಬಲಿಪೀಠಕ್ಕೆ ಕೊಂಡೊಯ್ದರು. ಪವಿತ್ರ ಗ್ರಂಥದ ಮೂರು ಮಹತ್ವದ ಭಾಗಗಳನ್ನು ಘೋಷಿಸಲು ವ್ಯವಸ್ಥಿತ ವೇಳಾಪಟ್ಟಿಯೊಂದಿಗೆ ಈ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮವನ್ನು ನಿಖರವಾಗಿ ಯೋಜಿಸಲಾಗಿತ್ತು:

ಇವುಗಳನ್ನು ಮೂರು ಅವಧಿಗಳಾಗಿ ವಿಂಗಡಿಸಲಾಯಿತು, ಸುಮಾರು 60 ತರಬೇತಿ ಪಡೆದ ಓದುಗರಿಂದ ಸುಗಮ ಮತ್ತು ಅರ್ಥಪೂರ್ಣ ಘೋಷಣೆಯನ್ನು ಖಚಿತಪಡಿಸಲಾಯಿತು. ಧರ್ಮಗ್ರಂಥಗಳ ಓದುವಿಕೆಯು ಕೀರ್ತನೆಗಳ ಹಾಡುವಿಕೆಯಿಂದ ಪೂರಕವಾಗಿತ್ತು, ಇದು ಸಭೆಗೆ ಆಧ್ಯಾತ್ಮಿಕ ಅನುಭವವನ್ನು ಹೆಚ್ಚಿಸಿತು.
ಈ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದ ಗಮನಾರ್ಹ ಅಂಶವೆಂದರೆ 18 ವಾರ್ಡ್ ಗುರ್ಕಾರ್‌ಗಳ ಸಕ್ರಿಯ ಭಾಗವಹಿಸುವಿಕೆ, ಅವರು ತಲಾ ಮೂರರಿಂದ ನಾಲ್ಕು ಓದುಗರ ತಂಡಗಳನ್ನು ಎಚ್ಚರಿಕೆಯಿಂದ ಆಯ್ಕೆ ಮಾಡಿದರು ಮತ್ತು ಭಕ್ತಿ ಮತ್ತು ಸ್ಪಷ್ಟತೆಯೊಂದಿಗೆ ವಾಕ್ಯವನ್ನು ಘೋಷಿಸುವ ಜವಾಬ್ದಾರಿಯನ್ನು ವಹಿಸಿಕೊಂಡರು. ಅವರ ಬದ್ಧತೆಯು ಧರ್ಮಗ್ರಂಥಗಳ ಸಂದೇಶವು ಹಾಜರಿದ್ದ ಎಲ್ಲರೊಂದಿಗೆ ಆಳವಾಗಿ ಪ್ರತಿಧ್ವನಿಸುವುದನ್ನು ಖಚಿತಪಡಿಸಿತು.
ಮಧ್ಯಾಹ್ನ 1:00 ಗಂಟೆಗೆ, ಒಂದು ಸಣ್ಣ ವಿರಾಮವನ್ನು ಆಚರಿಸಲಾಯಿತು, ಅಲ್ಲಿ ಹಾಜರಿದ್ದವರಿಗೆ ನಮ್ರತೆ ಮತ್ತು ಸಹಭಾಗಿತ್ವದ ಮನೋಭಾವವನ್ನು ಪ್ರತಿಬಿಂಬಿಸುವ ಬ್ರೆಡ್ ಮತ್ತು ತಂಪು ಪಾನೀಯಗಳ ಸರಳ ಆದರೆ ಸಾಂಕೇತಿಕ ಊಟವನ್ನು ನೀಡಲಾಯಿತು.
ಘೋಷಣೆಯ ದಿನವು ಮುಗಿಯುತ್ತಿದ್ದಂತೆ, ಪವಿತ್ರ ಯೂಕರಿಸ್ಟ್ ಅನ್ನು ಸಂಜೆ 4:30 ಕ್ಕೆ ಸಹಾಯಕ ಪ್ಯಾರಿಷ್ ಫಾದರ್ ರೆವರೆಂಡ್ ಆಲಿವರ್ ನಜರೆತ್ ಅವರು ಸಭೆಗೆ ಕೃತಜ್ಞತೆ ಮತ್ತು ಆಧ್ಯಾತ್ಮಿಕ ಪೋಷಣೆಯನ್ನು ನೀಡಿದರು.
ಸಂಜೆ 5:15 ಕ್ಕೆ ಪವಿತ್ರ ಶಿಲುಬೆಯನ್ನು ಅಳವಡಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವುದರೊಂದಿಗೆ ಮಹತ್ವದ ಮತ್ತು ಭಾವನಾತ್ಮಕ ಕ್ಷಣವೊಂದು ನಡೆಯಿತು. 18 ವಾರ್ಡ್ ನಾಯಕರು ತಮ್ಮ ತಮ್ಮ ಶಿಲುಬೆಗಳನ್ನು ಉನ್ನತ ಬಲಿಪೀಠಕ್ಕೆ ತಂದರು. ಅಲ್ಲಿ ಅವರು ಗಂಭೀರ ಸಮಾರಂಭದಲ್ಲಿ ಆಶೀರ್ವದಿಸಲ್ಪಟ್ಟರು. ಪ್ಯಾರಿಷ್ ಪಾದರ್ ರೆವರೆಂಡ್ ಡಾ. ರೋಕ್ ಡಿ’ಸೋಜಾ ಅವರು ಸ್ಪೂರ್ತಿದಾಯಕ ಸಂದೇಶವನ್ನು ನೀಡಿದರು, ಶಿಲುಬೆಯನ್ನು ಕ್ರಿಶ್ಚಿಯನ್ ಜೀವನದ ಅವಿಭಾಜ್ಯ ಅಂಗವೆಂದು ಒತ್ತಿ ಹೇಳಿದರು ಮತ್ತು ನಂಬಿಗಸ್ತರು ತಮ್ಮ ದೈನಂದಿನ ನಂಬಿಕೆಯ ಪ್ರಯಾಣದಲ್ಲಿ ಅದರಿಂದ ಶಕ್ತಿ ಮತ್ತು ಸ್ಫೂರ್ತಿಯನ್ನು ಪಡೆಯಬೇಕೆಂದು ಒತ್ತಾಯಿಸಿದರು.
ಬೈಬಲ್ ಗಜಾವ್ಣಿ 2025 ಏಕತೆ, ನಂಬಿಕೆ ಮತ್ತು ಭಕ್ತಿಯ ನಿಜವಾದ ಪುರಾವೆಯಾಗಿದ್ದು, ಪ್ಯಾರಿಷ್ ಸಮುದಾಯದ ಮೇಲೆ ಆಳವಾದ ಆಧ್ಯಾತ್ಮಿಕ ಪ್ರಭಾವವನ್ನು ಬೀರಿತು. ದೇವರ ವಾಕ್ಯವು ಮಾರ್ಗದರ್ಶಕ ಬೆಳಕಾಗಿ ಉಳಿದಿದೆ, ಅದನ್ನು ಮುಕ್ತ ಹೃದಯದಿಂದ ಸ್ವೀಕರಿಸುವ ಎಲ್ಲರನ್ನು ಬಲಪಡಿಸುತ್ತದೆ ಮತ್ತು ಉನ್ನತಿಗೇರಿಸುತ್ತದೆ ಎಂಬ ಪ್ರಬಲ ಜ್ಞಾಪನೆಯಾಗಿ ಇದು ಕಾರ್ಯನಿರ್ವಹಿಸಿತು.
ಮುಂಬರುವ ‘ಪವಿತ್ರ ಲೆಂಟ್ ಋತು’ಕ್ಕೆ ಅರ್ಥಪೂರ್ಣ ಪೂರ್ವಗಾಮಿಯಾಗಿ, ಮಾರ್ಚ್ 5, 2025 ರಂದು ‘ಬೂದಿ ಬುಧವಾರ’ ದಿಂದ ಪ್ರಾರಂಭವಾಗುವ ಮಾರ್ಚ್ 2, ಭಾನುವಾರ, ಕಲ್ಯಾಣಪುರದ ಸಂತೆಕಟ್ಟೆಯ ಮೌಂಟ್ ರೋಸರಿ ಚರ್ಚ್‌ನಲ್ಲಿ ಸಂಜೆ 7.30 ರಿಂದ ಸಂಜೆ 6.00 ರವರೆಗೆ ಇಡೀ ದಿನ ‘ಬೈಬಲ್ ಗಝವ್ನಿ’ ನಡೆಯಿತು, ಚರ್ಚ್ ಗಾಯಕವೃಂದ, ಸೀನಿಯರ್ ಅನ್ಸಿಲ್ಲಾ ಆರ್. ಡಿಮೆಲ್ಲೊ, ಕನ್ವೀನರ್ ಲಿಟರ್ಜಿ ಕಮಿಷನ್ ಇತ್ಯಾದಿಗಳ ಭಾಗವಹಿಸುವಿಕೆಯೊಂದಿಗೆ ಪ್ಯಾರಿಷಿಯನ್ನರು ಉತ್ಸಾಹದಿಂದ ಭಾಗವಹಿಸಿದರು ಮತ್ತು ನಂಬಿಕಸ್ಥರಿಂದ ಮೆಚ್ಚುಗೆ ಪಡೆದರು, ಇದು ಸ್ಮರಣೀಯ ಅನುಭವವಾಗಿತ್ತು.
Bible Gazavnni 2025’ at Mount Rosary Church, Santhekatte – A Day ‘of Spiritual Enrichmen
The Mount Rosary Church, Santhekatte, witnessed a profound day of faith and devotion as the Bible Gazavnni (Whole Day Bible Proclamation) was held on Sunday, 2nd March 2025, from 7:30 am to 6:00 pm. This spiritually enriching event brought together the clergy, parish leaders, and faithful in a collective effort to proclaim the ‘Word of God’ with reverence and dedication.
The day began with a solemn procession, where the Bible was reverently carried to the altar by the priests, the convenor of the Bible Commission, Mrs Cynthia DSilva and the Church laity leadership. The event was meticulously planned with a systematic schedule to proclaim three significant portions of the Holy Scripture:
The Book of Exodus
The Gospel According to St. Matthew
St. Paul’s Letter to the Romans
These were divided into three sessions, ensuring a smooth and meaningful proclamation by nearly 60 trained readers. The reading of the scriptures was complemented by the singing of psalms, enhancing the spiritual experience for the congregation.
A remarkable aspect of the event was the active participation of 18 Ward Gurkars, who carefully selected their respective teams of three to four readers each and shouldered the responsibility of proclaiming the Word with devotion and clarity. Their commitment ensured that the message of the Scriptures resonated deeply with all present.
At 1:00 pm, a short break was observed, where the attendees were served a simple yet symbolic meal of bread and soft drinks, reflecting the spirit of humility and fellowship.
As the day of proclamation drew to a close, the Holy Eucharist was celebrated at 4:30 pm by Rev. Fr. Oliver Nazareth, Assistant Parish Priest, offering thanksgiving and spiritual nourishment to the congregation.
A significant and moving moment followed at 5:15 pm, with the adoption of the Holy Cross. Each of the 18 Ward leaders brought their respective Crosses to the High Altar, where they were blessed in a solemn ceremony. Parish Priest Rev. Dr. Roque D’Souza delivered an inspiring message, emphasizing the Cross as an integral part of Christian life, and urging the faithful to draw strength and inspiration from it in their daily journey of faith.
The Bible Gazavnni 2025 was a true testament of unity, faith, and devotion, leaving a deep spiritual impact on the parish community. It served as a powerful reminder that the Word of God remains a guiding light, strengthening and uplifting all who embrace it with an open heart.
As a meaningful precursor to the forthcoming ‘Holy Season of Lent’, starting from ‘Ash Wednesday’, 5th March, 2025, on Sunday 2nd March, whole day ‘Bible Gazzavnni’ was held in the Mount Rosary Church Santekatte – Kallianpur from 7.30 pm to 6.00 pm, was enthusiastically participated by the parishioners with the due involvement of Church Choir, Sr Ancilla R. DMello, Convenor Liturgy Commission etc and appreciated by the faithful, as a memorable experience.
