ಲಯನ್ಸ್ ಇಂಟರ್‌ನ್ಯಾಶನಲ್‌ನ ಆಶ್ರಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಎರಡು ಘಟಕಗಳು – ಲಯನ್ಸ್ ಬಾರ್ಕೂರು ಮತ್ತು ಲಯನ್ಸ್ ಉಡುಪಿ – ಅಮೃತ್ ನ್ಯಾಷನಲ್ ಹರ್ ಪ್ರೈ ಜೊತೆ ಕೈಜೋಡಿಸಿತು. ಶಾಲೆ, ಹನೇಹಳ್ಳಿ ಬಾರ್ಕೂರ್‌ನಲ್ಲಿ ‘ಬೀಜಂಪ್ರಾತ’ ಆಯೋಜಿಸಲು ಚಿಕ್ಕ ಮಕ್ಕಳಿಗೆ ವಿವಿಧ ಸಸ್ಯಗಳು, ಮರಗಳು, ಗಿಡಮೂಲಿಕೆಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ತರಕಾರಿಗಳನ್ನು ವಿತರಿಸುವ ಅದ್ಭುತ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮ.
ಸೋಮವಾರ, 5ನೇ ಆಗಸ್ಟ್, 2024, ಬೆಳಗ್ಗೆ 10.30ಕ್ಕೆ ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೀಯ ಸಭಾಂಗಣದಲ್ಲಿ ಔಪಚಾರಿಕ ವೇದಿಕೆ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮವನ್ನು ಏರ್ಪಡಿಸಲಾಗಿತ್ತು. ಲಯನ್ಸ್ ಕ್ಲಬ್‌ನ ಪದಾಧಿಕಾರಿಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ಸದಸ್ಯರು ಮತ್ತು ಇತರ ಆಹ್ವಾನಿತ ಅತಿಥಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಲಯನ್ಸ್ ಕ್ಲಬ್ ಬಾರ್ಕೂರು ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷ ಶ್ರೀ ಶ್ರೀನ್ವಾಸ ಶೆಟ್ಟಿ ಅವರು ಔಪಚಾರಿಕವಾಗಿ ತಾಜಾ ಗುಲಾಬಿಗಳನ್ನು ನೀಡಿ ಅವರನ್ನು ಆತ್ಮೀಯವಾಗಿ ಸ್ವಾಗತಿಸಿದರು.
ಲಯನ್ಸ್ ಕ್ಲಬ್ ಉಡುಪಿ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷ ಅಮೃತ್ ಶ್ರೀ ಗೋಪಾಲ ಅಂಚನ್ ಮತ್ತು ಬಾರ್ಕೂರು ಎಜುಕೇಶನಲ್ ಸೊಸೈಟಿಯ ಉಪಾಧ್ಯಕ್ಷ ಶ್ರೀ ಸೀತಾರಾಮ ಶೆಟ್ಟಿ ಜಂಟಿಯಾಗಿ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮವನ್ನು ಉದ್ಘಾಟಿಸಿ, ನೆರೆದಿದ್ದ ಎಲ್ಲರಿಗೂ ಬೀಜ ಪೊಟ್ಟಣಗಳನ್ನು ವಿತರಿಸಿದರು. ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೀಯ ಪ್ರಾಥಮಿಕ ಶಾಲೆಯ ಕಾರ್ಯದರ್ಶಿ ಮತ್ತು ಎಚ್‌ಎಂ ಶ್ರೀ ಉದಯ ಎಸ್ ಶೆಟ್ಟಿ ಅವರು ವಿಶೇಷವಾಗಿ ಚಿಕ್ಕ ಮಕ್ಕಳಿಗೆ ಶಿಕ್ಷಣ ನೀಡಲು ಇಂತಹ ಜಾಗೃತಿ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮಗಳ ಅಗತ್ಯವನ್ನು ಸೂಕ್ತವಾಗಿ ವಿವರಿಸಿದರು. ಅವರ ಪ್ರಮುಖ ಟಿಪ್ಪಣಿಗಳು ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳ ಮನಸ್ಸಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಕುತೂಹಲ ಮತ್ತು ಆಸಕ್ತಿಯನ್ನು ಹುಟ್ಟುಹಾಕಿದವು ಮತ್ತು ನಂತರದ ಸಮಾರಂಭದಲ್ಲಿ ಶಾಲಾ ಆವರಣದಲ್ಲಿ ಸಸಿಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ಬೀಜಗಳನ್ನು ನೆಡಲು ಪ್ರೇರೇಪಿಸಿತು.
ಬಾರ್ಕೂರಿನ ಮಾಜಿ ವಲಯಾಧ್ಯಕ್ಷ ಶ್ರೀ ಸುಧಾಕರ ಹೆಗಡೆ, ವಲಯ 2, ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷೆ ಶ್ರೀಮತಿ ಭಾರತಿ ಎಚ್, ಎನ್‌ಎಚ್‌ಎಸ್‌ನ ಎಚ್‌ಎಂ ಶ್ರೀಮತಿ ಹೇಮಾವತಿ ಪಿ.ಎಸ್ ಮತ್ತಿತರರು ಉಪಸ್ಥಿತರಿದ್ದರು. ನ್ಯಾಷನಲ್ ಪಿಯು ಕಾಲೇಜಿನ ಪ್ರಾಂಶುಪಾಲ ಪ್ರೊ.ಯು.ಕೊಟ್ರಸ್ವಾಮಿ ವಂದಿಸಿದರು. ಶ್ರೀಮತಿ ಶೈಲಜಾ ಟೀಚರ್ ಎನ್‌ಎಚ್‌ಪಿಎಸ್ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮ ನಿರೂಪಿಸಿದರು.
Beejamrata – Seeds Distribution & Vanamahotsava in NHPS Barkur
Under the aegis of Lions International two Units – Lions Barkur and Lions Udupi -Amrith joined their hands together with National Hr Pry. School, Hanehalli Barkur to organise’ BEEJAAMPRATA’ a wonderful programme to distribute various seeds of plants, trees, herbs and vegetables to young children.
Monday, 5th August, 2024, at 10.30 am a formal stage program was arranged in the National Auditorium. Office bearers and Members of Lions Club, and other invited guests were formally presented fresh roses by the President Lions Club Barkur Mr Sreenvasa Shetty to extend them a cordial and homely welcome.
President of Lions Club Udupi Amrith Mr Gopala Anchan and Vice President of The Barkur Educational Society Retired Principal Mr Seetharama Shetty jointly inaugurated the program and distributed the seed packets to all gathered. Secretary and the HM of National Primary School, Mr Udaya S Shetty aptly explained the need for such awareness programmes especially to educate young children. His key notes address evoked curiosity and interest in the minds of students and motivated them to plant saplings and seeds in the School compound in the followed event.
Among others former Zone President of Barkur Mr Sudhakara Hegde, Zone 2, President Mrs Bharathi H, HM of the NHS Mrs Hemavathy PS and others were present. Principal Prof U. Kottraswamy of National PU College proposed vote of thanks and Mrs Shailaja Teacher NHPS meticulously presented the event.
