ಉಡುಪಿ: ಕೊಳಲಗಿರಿ ಹಾವಂಜೆಯ ಸಮೀಪ ಸಂಬಂಧಿಕರ ರೋಸ್ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮಕ್ಕೆ ಆಗಮಿಸಿದ್ದ ಯುವತಿಯೋರ್ವಳು ಕುಸಿದು ಬಿದ್ದು ಅಸ್ಥಸ್ಥಗೊಂಡಿದ್ದು, ಚಿಕಿತ್ಸೆ ಫಲಿಸದೆ ಮೃತಪಟ್ಟ ಘಟನೆ ನಡೆದಿದೆ. ದುರ್ಧೈವಿ ಮ್ರತ ಯುವತಿಯನ್ನು ಕುಂದಾಪುರ ಸಮೀಪದ ಆನಗಳ್ಳಿಯ ಜೋಸ್ನಾ ಮರಿಯಾ ಕೊತಾ (23) ಎಂದು ಎಂದು ತಿಳಿದು ಬಂದಿದೆ.
ಜೋಸ್ನಾ ಅವರು ಮೂಲತ ಬಸ್ರೂರು ಚರ್ಚಿನ ಅಧೀನಕ್ಕೆ ಒಳಪಟ್ಟವರಾಗಿದ್ದು, ಬುಧವಾರ ರಾತ್ರಿ ಕೊಳಲಗಿರಿ ಸಮೀಪದ ಹಾಂವಜೆಯ ತನ್ನ ಸಂಬಂಧಿಕರ ಮನೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆದ ರೋಸ್ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮಕ್ಕೆ ತೆರಳಿದ್ದು, ಅಲ್ಲಿ ಸುಮಾರು 8.30 ರ ಹೊತಿಗೆ ರೋಸ್ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದಲ್ಲಿ ಹೊರೆ ಕಾಣಿಕೆಯ ಸಂದರ್ಭದಲ್ಲಿ ನ್ರತ್ಯ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಾ ಬರುತ್ತಿರುವಾಗ ಹಠಾತ್ತಾನೆ ಕುಸಿದು ಬಿದ್ದಿದ್ದಳು, ಕೂಡಲೇ ಅವಳನ್ನು ಮಣಿಪಾಲದ ಖಾಸಗಿ ಆಸ್ಪತ್ರೆಗೆ ದಾಖಲಿಸಲಾಗಿತ್ತು. ರೋಸ್ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮ ನಡೆಯುತಿದ್ದಲ್ಲಿ ಕರಾಳ ವಾತವರಣ ಸ್ರಷ್ಟಿಯಾಯ್ತು, ರೋಸ್ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮ ತಟಸ್ಥಗೊಳಿಸಿ, ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮಕ್ಕೆ ಬಂದ ಜನರಿಗೆ ಭೋಜನ ನೀಡಿ ರೋಸ್ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮ ಮುಗಿಸಲಾಯಿತು ಎಂದು ತಿಳಿದು ಬಂದಿದೆ.
ಮರುದಿನ ಚಿಕಿತ್ಸೆ ಫಲಕಾರಿಯಾಗದೆ ಗುರುವಾರ ಬೆಳಿಗ್ಗೆ ಜೊಸ್ನಾ ಸಾವಿನ್ನಪ್ಪಿದಾಳೆಂದು ಖಚಿತವಾಯಿತು.
ಜೊಸ್ನಾ ಕೋತಾ ಆನಗಳ್ಳಿಯ ಜಾರ್ಜ್ ಕೋತಾ ಮತ್ತು ಐರಿ ಕೋತಾಳ ಮಗಳಾಗಿದ್ದು, ಒರ್ವ ತಮ್ಮನಿದ್ದು, ಜೊಸ್ನಾ ಇವರನ್ನು ಅಪಾರ ಬಂಧುಗಳನ್ನು ಅಗಲಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಜೊಸ್ನಾ ಕುಂದಾಪುರದಲ್ಲಿ ವಿಧ್ಯಾಭಾಸ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದು, ಅವಳು ಹಾವಂಜೆಯಲ್ಲಿರು ಚಿಕ್ಕಮ್ಮನ ಮನೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಉಳಿದು ವ್ಯಾಸಂಹ ಮಾಡುತಿದ್ದು, ಕಲ್ಯಾಣಪುರ ಮಿಲಾಗ್ರೆಸ್ ಕಾಲೇಜಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಎಂ.ಕೋಮ್ ಪದವಿ ಮುಗಿದಿದ್ದಳು.
ಈ ದುರ್ಘಟನೆ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಬ್ರಹ್ಮಾವರ ಪೊಲೀಸ್ ಠಾಣೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರಕರಣ ದಾಖಲಾಗಿದೆ.
A young woman collapsed and died during the ‘Roce’ ceremony
Udupi: An incident took place near Kolalagiri Havanje where a young woman who had arrived for a relative’s roce program collapsed and fell unconscious and died without treatment. unlucky has identified the dead young woman as Josna Maria Kota (23) of Anagalli near Kundapur.
Josna, who originally belonged to the Basrur Church, had gone to a rose ceremony at her relative’s house in Hamvaje near Kolalagiri on Wednesday night, where she suddenly collapsed while dancing during the roce ceremony at around 8.30 p.m. She was immediately admitted to a private hospital in Manipal. It is learned that a dark atmosphere was created when the Rose program was going on, the Rose program was neutralized and the people who came to the program were given dinner and the roce program ended.
The next day the treatment failed and on Thursday morning it was confirmed that Josna had died.
Josna Kota is the daughter of George Kota and Airi Kota of Anangalli and has one son, Josna is survived by many relatives. Josna did her graduation in Kundapur, she studied at her aunt’s house in Havanje and completed her M.Com degree from Milagres College, Kalyanpur.
A case has been registered in Brahmavar police station regarding this mishap.
