Regional Seminar on Quality Indicators in Health Care was organized by S.C.S College of Nursing Sciences on 6th September 2023 at KAMC Auditorium, Mangaluru.
The inauguration of the programme commenced with a prayer song by nursing students followed by lighting the lamp.
Mrs.Freeda D’Souza, Manager, Hospital Operations, Srinivas Hospital, Mukka was the Chief Guest for the ceremony and resource person for the seminar. Mr. Anil Kumar C.M, Vice Principal, welcomed the gathering. Dr. Abhinay Sorake, Secretary and presiding Officer, Mr. U K Khalid, Administrative Officer, Prof ( Mrs.) Lolita S.M D’souza, Principal, Prof. Mrs. Ambika J R, Organizing Chairperson, and Mrs. Shifali Jyoshna Bhagyan, Organizing Secretary were present on this occasion.
The college has completed 30 successful years of imparting education and training in the field of Nursing. On the occasion the college Anthem was released by the chief guest Mrs. Freeda D’souza. The students who had won in the State Level SNA cultural and sports competitions were felicitated.
Mrs. Shifali Jyoshna Bhagyan, Organsing Secretary deleivered the vote of thanks. Mr. Rekith Pinto compered the programme. Followed by this the seminar started with a pre-test. Mrs. Freeda D’souza, delivered session on the topic Quality Accreditation and Certifications, Patient Safety Environment and Overview on NABH chapters. Pot-test was conducted at the end of the session. As many as 180 delegates were present. The certificates were distributed during the valedictory programme.
