Mangaluru:, f.15: Most Rev Dr Aloysius Paul D’Souza the emeritus Bishop of Mangalore offered the Holy Mass in honour of the Relic of Saint Anthony. The Bishop in his message said that St Anthony in his short life through his tounge , preached the word of God continuously. He sacrificed his life and made other’s life beautiful. He called on the people gathered to take example from the life of Saint Anthony and contribute to make other’s life comfortable.
Rev. Boniface Pinto professor of prepedutic year St Jospeh’s Seminary Jeppu preached the homily during the mass. He spoke on the days theme tounge is gift from God, Saint Anthony made use of his tongue to preach the word of God and to fill hope in the life of people. He spent himself fully in performing miracles, all for God in return has blessed Saint Anthony by keeping his tongue fresh even after eight centuries of his demise. This is an indication that whenever people obey God, love Him and serve Him, He in return blesses them.Earlier during the day a Holy Mass was offered for the inmates at the Ashram at 6 am by Fr Larry pinto. At 8.15 am Holy Mass was offered in Milagres Fr Rupesh Tauro . Very Rev Fr Daniel Veigas offered Holy Mass at the Ashram for all the benefactors and invites. After which food was served to all. 4.30 pm in Malayalam at Milagres Church for all malayalm speaking people.
All donors were honoured with a candle as a gratitude. Special prayers were offered for the souls of all those who died in turkey and syria earthquake by lighting up the candles. A number of priests from and around Mangalore City, Religious Sisters and thousands of people participated in the Celebration.
Fr Jb. Crasta the director of the Ashram thanked all those extended their support to organize the feast. Fr Rupesh Tauro and Fr Larry Pinto the Asst directors co-operated to make the celebration successful.

15.2.2023 ಬುಧವಾರದಂದು ಸಂತ ಅಂತೋನಿ ಆಶ್ರಮ ಜಪ್ಪು ವತಿಯಿಂದ ಸಂತ ಅಂತೋನಿಯರ ಪುಣ್ಯ ಸ್ಮರಣೆಗೆ ಹಬ್ಬವನ್ನು ಆಚರಿಸಲಾಯಿತು ಮಂಗಳೂರಿನ ವಿಶ್ರಾಂತ ಬಿಷಪ್ ವಂದನೀಯ ಡಾ ಅಲೋಶಿಯಸ್ ಪಾವ್ಲ್ ಡಿಸೋಜ ಅವರು ಸಂತ ಅಂತೋನಿಯವರ ಪುಣ್ಯ ಸ್ಮರಣೆಯ ಹಬ್ಬದ ಬಲಿ ಪೂಜೆಯನ್ನು ನೆರವೇರಿಸಿದರು. ಬಿಷಪ್ ತಮ್ಮ ಸಂದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿ ಸಂತ ಅಂತೋನಿಯವರು ತಮ್ಮ ಅಲ್ಪಾವಧಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ತಮ್ಮ ನಾಲಿಗೆಯ ಮೂಲಕ ನಿರಂತರವಾಗಿ ದೇವರ ವಾಕ್ಯವನ್ನು ಬೋಧಿಸಿದರು ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದರು. ಅವರು ತಮ್ಮ ಜೀವನವನ್ನು ತ್ಯಾಗ ಮಾಡಿದರು ಮತ್ತು ಇತರರ ಜೀವನವನ್ನು ಸುಂದರಗೊಳಿಸಿದರು. ಸಂತ ಅಂತೋನಿಯವರ ಜೀವನದಿಂದ ಉತ್ತಮ ಮಾದರಿಯನ್ನು ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಂಡು ಇತರರ ಜೀವನವನ್ನು ಆರಾಮದಾಯಕವಾಗಿಸಲು ಸಹಕರಿಸುವಂತೆ ಅವರು ನೆರೆದವರಿಗೆ ಕರೆ ನೀಡಿದರು.
ಸಂತ ಜೋಸೆಫ್ ಸೆಮಿನರಿ ಜೆಪ್ಪು ಪ್ರಾಧ್ಯಾಪಕರಾದ ರೆ.ಫಾ.ಬೋನಿಫೇಸ್ ಪಿಂಟೊ ದೇವರ ವಾಕ್ಯದ ಮೇಲೆ ಪ್ರವಚನ ನೀಡಿದರು. ದಿನದ ವಿಷಯವಾಗಿ ಮಾತನಾಡಿದ ಅವರು, ನಾಲಿಗೆಯು ದೇವರ ಕೊಡುಗೆಯಾಗಿದೆ, ಸಂತ ಅಂತೋನಿಯವರು ದೇವರ ವಾಕ್ಯವನ್ನು ಬೋಧಿಸಲು ಮತ್ತು ಜನರ ಜೀವನದಲ್ಲಿ ಭರವಸೆಯನ್ನು ತುಂಬಲು ತಮ್ಮ ನಾಲಿಗೆಯನ್ನು ಬಳಸಿದರು. ಪವಾಡಗಳನ್ನು ಮಾಡುವುದರಲ್ಲಿ ಅವರು ತಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಸಂಪೂರ್ಣವಾಗಿ ತೊಡಗಿಸಿಕೊಂಡನು, ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ಪ್ರತಿಯಾಗಿ ದೇವರು ಸಂತ ಅಂತೋನಿಯವರ ನಿಧನದ ಎಂಟು ಶತಮಾನಗಳ ನಂತರವೂ ಅವರ ನಾಲಿಗೆಯನ್ನು ತಾಜಾವಾಗಿರಿಸುವ ಮೂಲಕ ಆಶೀರ್ವದಿಸಿದ್ದಾನೆ. ಜನರು ದೇವರಿಗೆ ವಿಧೇಯರಾದಾಗ, ಆತನನ್ನು ಪ್ರೀತಿಸಿ ಮತ್ತು ಆತನಿಗೆ ಸೇವೆ ಸಲ್ಲಿಸಿದಾಗ, ಆತನು ಪ್ರತಿಯಾಗಿ ಅವರನ್ನು ಆಶೀರ್ವದಿಸುತ್ತಾನೆ ಎಂಬುದಕ್ಕೆ ಇದು ಸೂಚನೆಯಾಗಿದೆ. ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದರು.
ಇದಕ್ಕೂ ಮೊದಲು ಆಶ್ರಮದಲ್ಲಿ ನಿವಾಸಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಬೆಳಿಗ್ಗೆ 6 ಗಂಟೆಗೆ ಫಾದರ್ ಲ್ಯಾರಿ ಪಿಂಟೊ ಅವರು ಪೂಜೆ ನೆರವೇರಿಸಿದರು. ಬೆಳಿಗ್ಗೆ 8.15 ಮಿಲಾಗ್ರಿಸ್‌ನಲ್ಲಿ ಚರ್ಚಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಫಾದರ್ ರೂಪೇಶ್ ವೂರೊ ಪವಿತ್ರ ಪೂಜೆ ಸಲ್ಲಿಸಲಾಯಿತು. ಬೆಳಿಗ್ಗೆ 11 ಗಂಟೆಗೆ ಅತಿ ವಂದನೀಯ ಡೇನಿಯಲ್ ವೆಗಾಸ್ ಆಶ್ರಮದಲ್ಲಿ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಆಹ್ವಾನಿತರಿಗೆ ಪವಿತ್ರ ಪೂಜೆ ಅರ್ಪಿಸಿದರು. ಬಳಿಕ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಭಕ್ತಾದಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಹಬ್ಬದ ಊಟ ಬಡಿಸಲಾಯಿತು. ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಮಲಯಾಳಂ ಮಾತನಾಡುವ ಭಕ್ತರಿಗೆ ಮಿಲಾಗ್ರೆಸ್ ಚರ್ಚ್‌ನಲ್ಲಿ ಮಲಯಾಳಂನಲ್ಲಿ ಸಂಜೆ 4.30 ಪೂಜೆ ನೆರವೇರಿತು.
ಎಲ್ಲಾ ದಾನಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಧನ್ಯತಾ ಭಾವದಿಂದ ಮೇಣದ ಬತ್ತಿ ನೀಡಿ ಗೌರವಿಸಲಾಯಿತು . ಟರ್ಕಿ ಮತ್ತು ಸಿರಿಯಾ ಭೂಕಂಪದಲ್ಲಿ ಮಡಿದ ಎಲ್ಲರ ಆತ್ಮಕ್ಕೆ ಶಾಂತಿ ಕೋರಿ ಮೇಣದಬತ್ತಿಗಳನ್ನು ಬೆಳಗಿಸಿ ವಿಶೇಷ ಪ್ರಾರ್ಥನೆ ಸಲ್ಲಿಸಲಾಯಿತು. ಮಂಗಳೂರು ನಗರ ಮತ್ತು ಸುತ್ತಮುತ್ತಲಿನ ಹಲವಾರು ಧರ್ಮಗುರುಗಳು, ಧರ್ಮ ಭಗಿನಿಯರು ಮತ್ತು ಸಾವಿರಾರು ಭಕ್ತರು ಸಂಭ್ರಮದಲ್ಲಿ ಪಾಲ್ಗೊಂಡರು.
ಆಶ್ರಮದ ನಿರ್ದೇಶಕರಾದ ವಂದನೀಯ ಜೆಬಿ ಕ್ರಾಸ್ತಾ ಅವರು ಹಬ್ಬವನ್ನು ಆಯೋಜಿಸಲು ಬೆಂಬಲ ನೀಡಿದ ಎಲ್ಲರಿಗೂ ಧನ್ಯವಾದಗಳನ್ನು ಅರ್ಪಿಸಿದರು. ವಂದನೀಯ ರೂಪೇಶ್ ತಾವ್ರೊ ಮತ್ತು ವಂದನೀಯ ಲ್ಯಾರಿ ಪಿಂಟೊ ಸಹಾಯಕ ನಿರ್ದೇಶಕರು ಆಚರಣೆಯನ್ನು ಯಶಸ್ವಿಗೊಳಿಸಲು ಸಹಕರಿಸಿದರು.
