Udupi : Mary D’Souza of Udyavar newly elected as President of Catholic Sabha Udupi Pradesh(Reg) of Udupi Diocese for the year 2021/22. She became the first woman president of the very strong Catholic Organization after inauguration of Udupi Diocese.
Other office-bearers elected are Rev Fr. Ferdinand Gonsalves as Spiritual Director, Robert Menezes Immediate Past President, Santhosh Cornelio Kallianpur as Assigned Presdent, Ronald D’Almeida, Udyavara as Vice President, Gregory Prabhudh Kumar D’Souza as General Secretary, Olivia D’Mello, Karkala as Joint Secretary, Jerald Roadrigues Shirva as Hon. Treasurer, Michael Pinto Kundapur as Joint Treasurer and Felix Pinto Kemmannu as Internal Auditor.
The election process for the new office bearers was held at Catholic Sabha Udupi Pradesh office at Our Lady of Sorrows Church premises here which election process was conducted by former President Alwyn Quadros.
