ಮಂಗಳೂರು, ಮಾರ್ಚ್ 27, 2025 ರ ಗುರುವಾರ ಸಂಜೆ 4:00 ಗಂಟೆಗೆ ಪ್ರತಿಷ್ಠಿತ ಟೌನ್ ಹಾಲ್‌ನಲ್ಲಿ ಅಥೇನಾ ಸ್ಕೂಲ್ ಆಫ್ ನರ್ಸಿಂಗ್, ಅಥೇನಾ ಕಾಲೇಜ್ ಆಫ್ ನರ್ಸಿಂಗ್ ಮತ್ತು ಅಥೇನಾ ಇನ್ಸ್ಟಿಟ್ಯೂಟ್ ಆಫ್ ಅಲೈಡ್ ಹೆಲ್ತ್ ಸೈನ್ಸ್ ತಮ್ಮ ಪದವಿ ಪ್ರದಾನ ಸಮಾರಂಭವನ್ನು ಆಚರಿಸಲು ಒಟ್ಟಾಗಿ ಬಂದಿದ್ದರಿಂದ ವಾತಾವರಣವು ಉತ್ಸಾಹ ಮತ್ತು ಹೆಮ್ಮೆಯಿಂದ ತುಂಬಿತ್ತು. ಈ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮವನ್ನು ಗೌರವಾನ್ವಿತ ಅತಿಥಿಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ಗಣ್ಯರು ಅಲಂಕರಿಸಿದರು, ಇದರಲ್ಲಿ ಭಾರತದ ದಂತ ಮಂಡಳಿಯ ಸದಸ್ಯ, ಬೆಂಗಳೂರಿನ ರಾಜೀವ್ ಗಾಂಧಿ ಆರೋಗ್ಯ ವಿಜ್ಞಾನ ವಿಶ್ವವಿದ್ಯಾಲಯದ ಸೆನೆಟ್ ಸದಸ್ಯ ಡಾ. ಶಿವ ಶರಣ್ ಮುಖ್ಯ ಅತಿಥಿಯಾಗಿ; ಮಂಗಳೂರಿನ ಯೆನೆಪೋಯ ನರ್ಸಿಂಗ್ ಕಾಲೇಜಿನ ಡೀನ್ ಮತ್ತು ಪ್ರಾಂಶುಪಾಲ ಡಾ. ಲೀನಾ ಕೆ.ಸಿ ಗೌರವ ಅತಿಥಿಯಾಗಿ ಭಾಗವಹಿಸಿದ್ದರು; ಅಥೇನಾ ಆರೋಗ್ಯ ವಿಜ್ಞಾನ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಯ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷರಾದ ಶ್ರೀಮತಿ ಆರ್. ಎಸ್. ಶೆಟ್ಟಿಯನ್, ಅಥೇನಾ ಆರೋಗ್ಯ ವಿಜ್ಞಾನ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಯ ಕಾರ್ಯದರ್ಶಿ ಶ್ರೀಮತಿ ಆಶಾ ಶೆಟ್ಟಿಯನ್, ಅಥೇನಾ ಆರೋಗ್ಯ ವಿಜ್ಞಾನ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಯ ಟ್ರಸ್ಟಿ ಡಾ. ಆಶಿತ್ ಶೆಟ್ಟಿಯನ್, ಅಥೇನಾ ಆರೋಗ್ಯ ವಿಜ್ಞಾನ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಯ ಟ್ರಸ್ಟಿ ಡಾ. ನಿಶಿತಾ ಶೆಟ್ಟಿಯನ್ ಫೆರ್ನಾಂಡಿಸ್, ಅಥೇನಾ ಆರೋಗ್ಯ ವಿಜ್ಞಾನ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಯ ಪ್ರಾಂಶುಪಾಲರಾದ ಪ್ರೊ. ಸೀನಿಯರ್ ದೀಪಾ ಪೀಟರ್, ಡಾ. ನಂದಿನಿ ಎಂ. ಅಥೇನಾ ಆರೋಗ್ಯ ವಿಜ್ಞಾನ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಯ ಅಲೈಡ್ ಹೆಲ್ತ್ ಸೈನ್ಸ್, ಉಪ ಪ್ರಾಂಶುಪಾಲರಾದ ಪ್ರೊ. ಸುನಿತಾ ಲೋಬೊ ಸಮಾರಂಭದ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷತೆ ವಹಿಸಿದ್ದರು ಮತ್ತು ಅವರಿಗೆ ಗೌರವದ ಸಂಕೇತವಾಗಿ ಸಾಂಪ್ರದಾಯಿಕ ಭಾರತೀಯ ಶೈಲಿಯಲ್ಲಿ “ಪೂರ್ಣಕುಂಬ ಸ್ವಾಗತಮ್” ಅನ್ನು ನೀಡಲಾಯಿತು ಮತ್ತು ನಂತರ ಬಿ.ಎಸ್ಸಿ ನರ್ಸಿಂಗ್ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ಪ್ರಾರ್ಥನೆ ಹಾಡಿದರು.
ಪದವೀಧರರ ನೇತೃತ್ವದಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆದ ಮೆರವಣಿಗೆ, ಅಧ್ಯಾಪಕರು ಮತ್ತು ಗಣ್ಯರು, ಸಂಜೆಗೆ ಗಂಭೀರ ಮತ್ತು ಸಂಭ್ರಮದ ಸ್ವರವನ್ನು ಹೊಂದಿಸಿದರು. ವೇದಿಕೆಯ ಮೇಲಿದ್ದ ಗಣ್ಯರು ಭಾರತೀಯ ದೀಪವನ್ನು ಬೆಳಗಿಸಿ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮವನ್ನು ಅಧಿಕೃತವಾಗಿ ಉದ್ಘಾಟಿಸಿದರು.
ಅಥೇನಾ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಯು ಜಿಎನ್‌ಎಂ (ಎನ್) ನ 19 ನೇ ಬ್ಯಾಚ್, ಬಿ.ಎಸ್ಸಿ (ಎನ್) ನ 17 ನೇ ಬ್ಯಾಚ್, 13 ನೇ ಬ್ಯಾಚ್ ಅನ್ನು ಆಯೋಜಿಸಲು ಹೆಮ್ಮೆಪಡುತ್ತದೆ. ಪಿ.ಬಿ.ಬಿ.ಎಸ್ಸಿ (ಎನ್) ಬ್ಯಾಚ್, ಅಲೈಡ್ ಆರ್‌ಡಿಟಿಯ 7 ನೇ ಬ್ಯಾಚ್, ಎಂಐಟಿ, ಎಂಎಲ್‌ಟಿ, ಇಟಿಸಿಟಿ ಮತ್ತು ಅನಸ್ತೇಶಿಯಾ ಮತ್ತು ಒಟಿಯ 2 ನೇ ಬ್ಯಾಚ್.
ಅಥೇನಾ ಇನ್ಸ್ಟಿಟ್ಯೂಟ್ ಆಫ್ ಹೆಲ್ತ್ ಸೈನ್ಸಸ್‌ನ ಪ್ರೊ. ಸುನೀತಾ ಲೋಬೊ ಉಪ ಪ್ರಾಂಶುಪಾಲರು ಸಭಿಕರನ್ನು ಸ್ವಾಗತಿಸಿದರು ಮತ್ತು ಮುಖ್ಯ ಅತಿಥಿ ಮತ್ತು ಗೌರವ ಅತಿಥಿಯನ್ನು ಪರಿಚಯಿಸಿದರು. ಅಥೇನಾ ಕಾಲೇಜ್ ಆಫ್ ನರ್ಸಿಂಗ್‌ನ ಪ್ರಾಂಶುಪಾಲರಾದ ಪ್ರೊ. ಸೀನಿಯರ್ ದೀಪಾ ಪೀಟರ್ ಅವರು ಸ್ಕೂಲ್ ಆಫ್ ನರ್ಸಿಂಗ್ ಮತ್ತು ಕಾಲೇಜ್ ಆಫ್ ನರ್ಸಿಂಗ್‌ನ ವಾರ್ಷಿಕ ವರದಿಯನ್ನು ಮಂಡಿಸಿದರು ಮತ್ತು ನರ್ಸ್‌ಗಳಿಗೆ ಪ್ರಮಾಣವಚನ ಬೋಧಿಸಿದರು, ನಂತರ ಡಾ. ನಂದಿನಿ ಎಂ ಅಲೈಡ್ ಹೆಲ್ತ್ ಸೈನ್ಸಸ್‌ನ ಪ್ರಾಂಶುಪಾಲರು ಅಲೈಡ್ ಕಾಲೇಜಿನ ಕಿರು ವರದಿಯನ್ನು ಮಂಡಿಸಿದರು ಮತ್ತು ಅಲೈಡ್ ಹೆಲ್ತ್ ಸೈನ್ಸಸ್ ಪದವೀಧರರಿಗೆ ಪ್ರಮಾಣವಚನ ಬೋಧಿಸಿದರು.
ಮುಖ್ಯ ಅತಿಥಿ ಡಾ. ಶಿವ ಶರಣ್ ಅವರು ಪದವೀಧರರನ್ನು ಅಭಿನಂದಿಸಿದರು ಮತ್ತು ಆರೋಗ್ಯ ರಕ್ಷಣಾ ವ್ಯವಸ್ಥೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ದಾದಿಯರು ಮುಖ್ಯ, ರೋಗಿಗಳ ಆರೈಕೆ ಮೊದಲು, ಜ್ಞಾನವನ್ನು ಬುದ್ಧಿವಂತಿಕೆಯಾಗಿ, ಅನಿಶ್ಚಿತತೆಯನ್ನು ಖಚಿತವಾಗಿ ಪರಿವರ್ತಿಸಿ ಮತ್ತು ನೀವು ಪರಿಪೂರ್ಣ ನರ್ಸ್, ಉದಾತ್ತ ನರ್ಸ್ ಆಗಿರುತ್ತೀರಿ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದರು.
ಗೌರವ ಅತಿಥಿ ಡಾ. ಲೀನಾ ಕೆ.ಸಿ. ಅವರು ಈ ವೃತ್ತಿಯಲ್ಲಿರುವುದು ಗೌರವ ಮತ್ತು ಸವಾಲುಗಳನ್ನು ಸ್ವೀಕರಿಸಲು ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳನ್ನು ಪ್ರೋತ್ಸಾಹಿಸಿ ಮತ್ತು ನಿಮ್ಮ ಜೀವನದಲ್ಲಿ ನೀವು ಯಶಸ್ಸನ್ನು ಪಡೆಯುತ್ತೀರಿ ಎಂದು ಒತ್ತಿ ಹೇಳಿದರು.
ಶ್ರೀ ಆರ್ ಎಸ್ ಶೆಟ್ಟಿಯನ್ ಅವರ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷೀಯ ಭಾಷಣದಲ್ಲಿ, ಅವರು ಪದವೀಧರರನ್ನು ಅಭಿನಂದಿಸಿದರು ಮತ್ತು ಅವರಿಗೆ ಶುಭ ಹಾರೈಸಿದರು. ಅವರು ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ಆರೈಕೆಯ ಗುಣಮಟ್ಟವನ್ನು ಎಂದಿಗೂ ರಾಜಿ ಮಾಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳದಂತೆ ಮತ್ತು ರಾಯಭಾರಿಗಳಾಗಿರಬೇಕೆಂದು ಪ್ರೋತ್ಸಾಹಿಸಿದರು.
ಪದವೀಧರರ ಪಟ್ಟಿಯನ್ನು ಆಯಾ ತರಗತಿ ಸಂಯೋಜಕರು ಓದಿದರು ಮತ್ತು ಅತಿಥಿಗಳು ಪ್ರಮಾಣಪತ್ರಗಳನ್ನು ಹಸ್ತಾಂತರಿಸಿದರು.
ಶ್ರೀಮತಿ ಪ್ರಿಯಾಂಕಾ ಡಿಸೋಜಾ, ಶ್ರೀಮತಿ ಹನಿ ಗುಂಡಮಿ ಮತ್ತು ಶ್ರೀಮತಿ ಕವನಾ ಪ್ರಶಸ್ತಿ ಪುರಸ್ಕೃತರ ಪಟ್ಟಿ, ಕ್ರೀಡೆ ಮತ್ತು ಸಾಂಸ್ಕೃತಿಕ ಚಾಂಪಿಯನ್‌ಶಿಪ್ ಅನ್ನು ಪ್ರದಾನ ಮಾಡಿದರು ಮತ್ತು ಬಿ.ಎಸ್ಸಿ ಪದವೀಧರರ ಮೊದಲ ಕಾಲೇಜು ಬ್ಯಾಂಡ್‌ಗೆ ಮೆಚ್ಚುಗೆಯ ಸಂಕೇತವನ್ನು ಪ್ರದಾನ ಮಾಡಿದರು.
ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಪದವೀಧರರ ಪರವಾಗಿ, ನರ್ಸಿಂಗ್ ಕಾಲೇಜಿನ ಸೀನಿಯರ್ ದೀನಾ ಅಲ್ಮೇಡಾ ಮತ್ತು ಮಿತ್ರ ಕಾಲೇಜಿನ ಶ್ರೀಮತಿ ತ್ರಿಶಾಲಿ ಕಾಲೇಜಿನಲ್ಲಿ ತಮ್ಮ ದಿನಗಳ ಹಳೆಯ ಭಾವನೆಗಳನ್ನು ವ್ಯಕ್ತಪಡಿಸಿದರು ಮತ್ತು ಶಿಕ್ಷಕರು ತಮ್ಮ ಉತ್ತಮ ಬೆಳವಣಿಗೆಗೆ ಅವರನ್ನು ಹೇಗೆ ರೂಪಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ ಎಂಬುದನ್ನು ವ್ಯಕ್ತಪಡಿಸಿದರು.
2020 – 2024 ರ ಸಾಲಿನ ಬಿ.ಎಸ್ಸಿ (ಎನ್) ವಿಭಾಗದಲ್ಲಿ ಅತ್ಯುತ್ತಮ ಹೊರಹೋಗುವ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿನಿ ಪ್ರಶಸ್ತಿಯನ್ನು ಶ್ರೀಮತಿ ಏಂಜೆಲಾ ಟಾಮಿ, ಜಿ.ಎನ್.ಎಂ (ಎನ್) ವಿಭಾಗದಲ್ಲಿ ಶ್ರೀಮತಿ ಅಶ್ವತಿ ರಾಜೇಶ್, ಪಿ.ಬಿ.ಬಿ.ಎಸ್ಸಿ (ಎನ್) ವಿಭಾಗದಲ್ಲಿ ಶ್ರೀಮತಿ ಪ್ರೀತಿ ಮತ್ತು ಅಲೈಡ್ ವಿಭಾಗದಲ್ಲಿ ಶ್ರೀಮತಿ ತ್ರಿಶಾಲಿ ಅವರಿಗೆ ನೀಡಲಾಯಿತು. ಇದು ಅವರ ಅಸಾಧಾರಣ ಪ್ರದರ್ಶನ ಮತ್ತು ಶ್ರೇಷ್ಠತೆಯ ಬದ್ಧತೆಯನ್ನು ಎತ್ತಿ ತೋರಿಸುತ್ತದೆ.
ಪ್ರಸೂತಿ ಮತ್ತು ಸ್ತ್ರೀರೋಗ ಶಾಸ್ತ್ರ ನರ್ಸಿಂಗ್ ವಿಭಾಗದ ಜಿ.ಎಚ್.ಒ.ಡಿ. ಪ್ರೊ. ಹೇಮಲತಾ ಧನ್ಯವಾದಗಳನ್ನು ಅರ್ಪಿಸಿದರು. ಶ್ರೀಮತಿ ಶರೋನ್ ಮತ್ತು ಶ್ರೀಮತಿ ರೆಬೀಕಾ ಪದವಿ ಪ್ರದಾನ ಸಮಾರಂಭವನ್ನು ನಿರೂಪಿಸಿದರು. ಸಾಂಸ್ಥಿಕ ಗೀತೆಯನ್ನು ಹಿಂಜರಿತವಾಗಿ ನುಡಿಸಲಾಯಿತು.
ಅಥೇನಾ ಇನ್ಸ್ಟಿಟ್ಯೂಟ್ ಆಫ್ ಹೆಲ್ತ್ ಸೈನ್ಸಸ್‌ನಲ್ಲಿ 2025 ರ ಪದವಿ ಪ್ರದಾನ ಸಮಾರಂಭದ ಕೊನೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಸಾಧನೆಗಳ ಆಚರಣೆ, ಶ್ರೇಷ್ಠತೆಯ ಬದ್ಧತೆಗೆ ಸಾಕ್ಷಿ ಮತ್ತು ಸಹಾನುಭೂತಿ ಮತ್ತು ಸಮರ್ಪಣೆಯೊಂದಿಗೆ ಸೇವೆ ಸಲ್ಲಿಸುವ ಉದಾತ್ತ ಧ್ಯೇಯದ ಜ್ಞಾಪನೆಯಾಗಿತ್ತು. ಪದವೀಧರರ ಹಿಂಜರಿತದ ನಂತರ ಸಭೆಗಾಗಿ ಸಾಂಸ್ಕೃತಿಕ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮಗಳನ್ನು ಆಯೋಜಿಸಲಾಗಿತ್ತು. ಪದವೀಧರರು, ಪೋಷಕರು, ಹಳೆಯ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು, ಅತಿಥಿಗಳು, ಸಿಬ್ಬಂದಿ ಮತ್ತು ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ಸೇರಿದಂತೆ ಸುಮಾರು 1000 ಜನರು ಗಂಭೀರ ಆಚರಣೆಗೆ ಸಾಕ್ಷಿಯಾದರು. ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದ ನಂತರ ಎಲ್ಲರಿಗೂ ಪದವಿ ಪ್ರದಾನ ಭೋಜನವನ್ನು ನೀಡಲಾಯಿತು.

The atmosphere was one of excitement and pride as Athena School of Nursing, Athena College of Nursing and Athena Institute of Allied Health Science, came together to celebrate their graduation ceremony on Thursday, March 27, 2025 at 4: 00 p.m at the prestigious Town Hall. The event was graced by esteemed guests and dignitaries, including Dr. Shiv Sharan, Member of Dental Council of India, Senate Member of Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Science, Bengaluru as a Chief Guest; Dr. Leena K C Dean and Principal, of Yenepoya Nursing College, Mangalore as a Guest of Honour; Mr, R. S Shettian Chairman, Athena Institute of Health Sciences, Mrs. Asha Shettian Secretary, Athena Institute of Health Science, Dr. Ashith Shettian Trustee, Athena Institute of Health Science, Dr. Nishitha Shettian Fernandez, Trustee, Athena Institute of Health Science, Prof. Sr Deepa Peter Principal, Athena Institute of Health Science , Dr. Nandini M Athena Institute of Allied Health Science, Prof, Sunitha Lobo Vice Principal who presided over the ceremony and were offered a traditional Indian style with “Poornakumba Swagatham as a sign of respect and followed by the prayer song performed by the B. Sc nursing students.
The procession, led by the graduands, followed by the faculty and dignitaries, set a solemn and celebratory tone for the evening. The Dignitaries on the dais lighted the Indian Lamp and officially inaugurated the Program.
Athena Institute is proud to host the 19th batch of GNM (N), 17th batch of B.Sc (N), 13th batch of P.B.B.Sc (N), 7th batch of Allied RDT, 2nd batch of MIT, MLT, ETCT, and Anesthesia and OT.
Prof. Sunitha Lobo Vice Principal, of Athena Institute of Health Sciences welcomed the gathered and introduced the Chief Guest and Guest of Honor. Prof. Sr. Deepa Peter Principal, Athena College of Nursing presented the annual report of the school of nursing and college of nursing and administered the oath to nurses followed by Dr. Nandini M Principal of Allied Health Sciences presented a short report of the allied college and administered the oath to Allied Health Sciences graduates.
The Chief Guest Dr. Shiv Sharan on the occasion congratulated the graduates, and said that nurses are important in health care system, patient care is first, convert the knowledge into wisdom, uncertainty to certainty and you will be a perfect nurse, a noble nurse.
The Guest of Honor, Dr. Leena K C on the occasion she stressed that being in this profession is a honor and encourage the students to embrace the challenges and you will have the success in your life.
The presidential address by Mr. R S Shettian, he congratulated the graduates and wished them good luck and success. He encouraged the students to never compromise quality of care and be the ambassadors.
The List of the graduates was read out by respective class coordinator, and the certificates were handed by the Guests.
Mrs. Priyanka Dsouza, Mrs. Honey Gundami and Ms. Kavana presented the list of awardees, sports and cultural championship and presented the token of appreciation for first college band from B.Sc graduands.
On behalf of all graduates, Sr Deena Almeda from college of nursing and Ms. Trishali from allied college voiced the nostalgic feelings of their days in the college and expressed how the teachers have moulded them for their better growth.
The Best Outgoing students of the year 2020 – 2024 in B.Sc (N) was awarded to Ms. Angela Tomy, GNM (N) was awarded to Ms. Ashwathi Rajesh, P.B.B.Sc (N) was awarded to Ms. Preethi and In allied was awarded to Ms. Trishali in MLT Dept. As it is highlighting their exceptional performance and commitment to excellence.
Prof. Hemalatha G HOD of Obstetrics and Gynecology Nursing Department proposed the vote of thanks. Mrs. Sharon and Ms. Rebeeca compered the graduation ceremony. The Institutional Anthem was played as the recessional.
In closing the Graduation Ceremony 2025 at Athena Institute of Health Sciences was a celebration of achievements, a testament to the commitment to excellence, and a reminder of the noble mission to serve with compassion and dedication. After the recession of the graduates cultural events were organized for the gathering. Around 1000 people consisting of graduates, parents, alumni, guests, staff and students witnessed the solemn celebration. Graduation dinner was served for all after the program.
