ಕುಂದಾಪುರ; ಯುಬಿಎಂಸಿ ಕುಂದಾಪುರ : ಕುಂದಾಪುರದ ಯುಬಿಎಂಸಿ ಇಂಗ್ಲಿಷ್ ಮಾಧ್ಯಮ ಶಾಲೆಯು 18.01.2025 ರಂದು “ಸಾಂಪ್ರದಾಯಿಕ ದಿನ”ವನ್ನು ಸಂತೋಷ ಮತ್ತು ಸಂಭ್ರಮದಿಂದ ಆಚರಿಸಿತು. ಅಂದು “ಬ್ಯಾಗ್‌ಲೆಸ್ (ಪುಸ್ತಕವಿಲ್ಲದ) ದಿನವಾಗಿತ್ತು. ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ಅಧ್ಯಾಪಕರು ಸಾಂಪ್ರದಾಯಿಕ ಉಡುಪಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಅಲಂಕೃತರಾಗಿದ್ದರು.
ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳ ಪ್ರಾರ್ಥನೆಯೊಂದಿಗೆ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮ ಪ್ರಾರಂಭವಾಯಿತು. ಗಣ್ಯರು ದೀಪ ಬೆಳಗಿಸುವ ಮೂಲಕ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮವನ್ನು ಉದ್ಘಾಟಿಸಿದರು. ಮುಖ್ಯ ಅತಿಥಿಯಾಗಿ ಸಿಎಸ್‌ಐ ಕೃಪಾ ಚರ್ಚ್‌ನ ಪ್ರೆಸ್‌ಬೈಟರ್ ಇನ್‌ಚಾರ್ಜ್ ರೆವರೆಂಡ್ ಇಮ್ಯಾನುಯೆಲ್ ಜಯಕರ್ ಅವರು “ವೈವಿಧ್ಯತೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಏಕತೆ” ಕುರಿತು ಮಾತನಾಡಿದರು.
ಸಿಎಸ್‌ಐ ಕೃಪಾ ವಿದ್ಯಾಲಯದ ಮುಖ್ಯೋಪಾಧ್ಯಾಯಿನಿ ಶ್ರೀಮತಿ ಸವಿತಾ ಅವರು ಈ ಸಂದರ್ಭದಲ್ಲಿ ಶುಭಾಶಯ ಕೋರಿದರು. ಯುಬಿಎಂಸಿ ಇಂಗ್ಲಿಷ್ ಮಾಧ್ಯಮ ಶಾಲೆ ಮತ್ತು ಸಿಎಸ್‌ಐ ಕೃಪಾ ವಿದ್ಯಾಲಯದ ಪ್ರಾಂಶುಪಾಲರಾದ ಶ್ರೀಮತಿ ಅನಿತಾ ಆಲಿಸ್ ಡಿಸೋಜಾ ಅವರು ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ನಮ್ಮ ಶ್ರೀಮಂತ ಮತ್ತು ವೈವಿಧ್ಯಮಯ ಸಂಪ್ರದಾಯವನ್ನು ಪಾಲಿಸಬೇಕು ಮತ್ತು ಮುಂದಿನ ಪೀಳಿಗೆಗೆ ಸಾಗಿಸಬೇಕೆಂದು ಒತ್ತಾಯಿಸಿದರು.
ಶಾಲೆಯ ಸಂಚಾಲಕಿ ಶ್ರೀಮತಿ ಐರೀನ್ ಸಾಲಿನ್ಸ್ ನಮ್ಮ ಸಂಸ್ಕೃತಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಸಂಪ್ರದಾಯಗಳ ಮಹತ್ವವನ್ನು ವಿವರಿಸಿದರು. ಸಹಾಯಕ ಶಿಕ್ಷಕಿ ಶ್ರೀಮತಿ ಲತಾ ಸ್ವಾಗತಿಸಿದರು ಮತ್ತು ಸಹಾಯಕ ಶಿಕ್ಷಕಿ ಶ್ರೀಮತಿ ಸವಿತಾ ಆರ್ ಕೃತಜ್ಞತೆ ಸಲ್ಲಿಸಿದರು. ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ಹಾಡುಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ನೃತ್ಯಗಳ ಮೂಲಕ ತಮ್ಮ ಪ್ರತಿಭೆಯನ್ನು ಪ್ರದರ್ಶಿಸಿದರು.
ಸಹಾಯಕ ಶಿಕ್ಷಕಿ ಶ್ರೀಮತಿ ಉಜ್ವಲಾ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮವನ್ನು ನಿರೂಪಿಸಿದರು. ನಂತರ, ಗಣ್ಯರು ಮತ್ತು ಸಿಬ್ಬಂದಿಗಳು ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ತಮ್ಮ ಮನೆಗಳಿಗೆ ತಂದಿದ್ದ ಪ್ರಾಚೀನ ವಸ್ತುಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ಸಾಂಪ್ರದಾಯಿಕ ಪಾಕ ತಿಂಡಿ ಇತ್ಯಾರ್ತಿಗಳ ಪ್ರದರ್ಶನ ವೀಕ್ಷಿಸಿ ಅವರ ಕಣ್ಣು ಮತ್ತು ನಾಲಿಗೆಗೆ ಹಬ್ಬದಂತೆ ಕಂಡಿತು. ಇದು ಎಲ್ಲರಿಗೂ ಒಂದು ದೊಡ್ಡ ಹಬ್ಬದಂತೆ ಭಾಸವಾಯಿತು.
Traditional day celebration at Kundapur UBMC School
Kundapura : UBMC English Medium School, Kundapura, celebrated ” The Traditional Day” with joy and excitement on 18.01.2025. It was “Bagless(Bookless) day. Students and faculty were decked up in traditional attire. The event commenced with a prayer by students.The dignitaries inaugurated the event by Lighting the Lamp. The Chief Guest Rev. Immanuel Jayakar ,Pressbyter Incharge CSI Krupa Church, in his address, stressed on ” Unity in Diversity.” Smt. Savitha , Headmistress CSI Krupa Vidyalaya, conved grreetings on the occasion . Mrs. Anita Alice Dsouza Principal of UBMC English Medium School and CSI Krupa Vidyalaya, urged the students to cherish and carry on our rich and diverse tradition to the next generation. Smt. Irene Salins Correspondent of the school explained the importance of traditions in our culture. Smt.Latha , Asst Teacher welcomed and Smt.Savitha R , Asst teacher expressed words of gratitude. Students showcased their talents through songs, and dances.
Smt. Ujwala , Asst. Teacher anchored the event. Later, the dignitaries and staff had a Feast tobtheir eyes and palate at the exhibition that was put up by students on the antique items and traditional cuisines that they had brought to their respective homes. Everybody felt like a grand feast.
