Mr. Mohammad Sameer, Director of Physical Education, Janata Independent PU College, Hemmadi, inaugurated the meet by lighting the sports torch, saying, ‘Sports are an integral part of human being because it keeps us healthy, prosperous and active. We can have a healthy mind only when we have a healthy body’. Dr Ramakrishna Hegde, Director, Brand Building IMJ Institutions presided over the program and encouraged the students. Principal Jennifer Frieda Menezes wished the students for better sports performance.
Mr. Praveen Kharvi, Director of Physical Education presented the Annual Sports Report. Students did a Highly disciplined March fast in four teams with colourful uniforms. Principal of IMJ Institute of Science and Commerce, Dr Pratibha M Patel, Vice Principal of IMJ Institute of Science and Commerce, Prof. Jayasheel Kumar and Vice Principal of MCN, Prof. Rupshree K S were present on the occasion. Students Sona and Nishmita were MCs of the program and welcomed the dignitaries. Nishmita introduced the Chief Guest. Chetana did the invocation. Muhammad Ryan proposed the vote of thanks.
ಮೂಡ್ಲಕಟ್ಟೆ ಕಾಲೇಜ್ ಆಫ್ ನರ್ಸಿಂಗ್ ಕುಂದಾಪುರದಲ್ಲಿ ಉತ್ಕರ್ಷದ ಅಂಗವಾಗಿ ಎಂ.ಸಿ.ಎನ್ ಮೈದಾನದಲ್ಲಿ ಕ್ರೀಡೋತ್ಸವವು ಅತ್ಯುತ್ತಮವಾಗಿ ನೆರವೇರಿತು.
ಜನತಾ ಇಂಡಿಪೆಂಡೆಂಟ್ ಪಿಯು ಕಾಲೇಜ್ ಹೆಮ್ಮಾಡಿಯ ದೈಹಿಕ ಶಿಕ್ಷಣ ನಿರ್ದೇಶಕರಾದ ಶ್ರೀಯುತ ಮೊಹಮ್ಮದ್ ಸಮೀರ್ ಅವರು ಕ್ರೀಡಾ ಜ್ಯೋತಿಯನ್ನು ಬೆಳಗಿಸುವ ಮೂಲಕ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮವನ್ನು ಉದ್ಘಾಟಿಸಿ, ‘ ಕ್ರೀಡೆಯು ಮನುಷ್ಯನ ಅವಿಭಾಜ್ಯ ಅಂಗ ಏಕೆಂದರೆ ಅದು ನಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಆರೋಗ್ಯಕರವಾಗಿ, ಶ್ರೀಮಂತವಾಗಿ ಮತ್ತು ಕ್ರಿಯಾಶೀಲವಾಗಿರಿಸುತ್ತದೆ. ಆರೋಗ್ಯಕರ ದೇಹವನ್ನು ಹೊಂದಿದಾಗ ಮಾತ್ರ ನಾವು ಆರೋಗ್ಯಕರ ಮನಸ್ಸು ಹೊಂದಲು ಸಾಧ್ಯ. ನಾವು ನಮ್ಮ ದೈಹಿಕ ಮತ್ತು ಮಾನಸಿಕ ಯೋಗಕ್ಷೇಮವನ್ನು ಕಾಪಾಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವಾಗ ದೊಡ್ಡ ಸಾಧನೆಗಳು ನಮ್ಮ ದಾರಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಬರುತ್ತವೆ’ ಎಂದು ತಿಳಿಸಿದರು.
ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷತೆಯನ್ನು ಐಎಂಜೆ ಬ್ರಾಂಡ್ ಬಿಲ್ಡಿಂಗ್ ನಿರ್ದೇಶಕರಾದ ಶ್ರೀಯುತ ರಾಮಕೃಷ್ಣ ಹೆಗಡೆಯವರು ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಪ್ರೋತ್ಸಾಹದ ಮಾತುಗಳನ್ನಾಡಿ ಉತ್ತೇಜಿಸಿದರು. ಹಾಗೂ . ಪ್ರಾಂಶುಪಾಲರಾದ ಜೆನ್ನಿಫರ್ ಫ್ರೀಡ ಮೇನೇಜಸ್ ರವರು ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮಕ್ಕೆ ಶುಭ ಹಾರೈಸಿದರು.
ದೈಹಿಕ ಶಿಕ್ಷಣ ನಿರ್ದೇಶಕರಾದ ಶ್ರೀಯುತ ಪ್ರವೀಣ್ ಖಾರ್ವಿಯವರು ವಾರ್ಷಿಕ ಕ್ರೀಡಾ ವರದಿಯನ್ನು ಮಂಡಿಸಿದರು. ಹಾಗೂ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ನಾಲ್ಕು ತಂಡಗಳಾಗಿ ಪಥಸಂಚಲನವನ್ನು ಮಾಡಿ ಮನವನ್ನು ರಂಜಿಸಿದರು.
ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದಲ್ಲಿ ಐ.ಎಂ.ಜೆ ಇನ್ಸ್ಟಿಟ್ಯೂಟ್ ಆಫ್ ಸೈನ್ಸ್ ಆಂಡ್ ಕಾಮರ್ಸ್ ನ ಪ್ರಾಂಶುಪಾಲರಾದ ಡಾ I ಪ್ರತಿಭಾ ಎಂ ಪಟೇಲ್, ಐ.ಎಂ.ಜೆ ಇನ್ಸ್ಟಿಟ್ಯೂಟ್ ಆಫ್ ಸೈನ್ಸ್ ಆಂಡ್ ಕಾಮರ್ಸ್ ನ ಉಪ ಪ್ರಾಂಶುಪಾಲರಾದ ಪ್ರೊ| ಜಯಶೀಲ ಕುಮಾರ್ ಹಾಗೂ ನಮ್ಮ ಕಾಲೇಜಿನ ಉಪ ಪ್ರಾಂಶುಪಾಲರಾದ ಪ್ರೊ| ರೂಪಶ್ರೀ ಕೆ ಎಸ್ ಉಪಸ್ಥಿತರಿದ್ದರು. ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮವನ್ನು ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿನಿಯರಾದ ಸೋನಾ ಮತ್ತು ನಿಶ್ಮಿತ ನಿರೂಪಿಸಿದರು ಮತ್ತು ಗಣ್ಯರನ್ನು ಸ್ವಾಗತಿಸಿದರು. ಮುಖ್ಯ ಅತಿಥಿಯ ಪರಿಚಯವನ್ನು ನಿಶ್ಮಿತಾ ಮಾಡಿದರು. ಚೇತನ ಪ್ರಾರ್ಥಿಸಿದರು. ಸಭಾ ಪ್ರಮಾಣವಚನ ವಾಚಿಸಿದರು. ಮಹಮ್ಮದ್ ರಿಯಾನ್ ವಂದಿಸಿದರು.
