ವೈಬ್ರಂಟ್ ವಾರ್ಷಿಕ ಸ್ಪೋರ್ಟ್ಸ್ 2025 ಅಥೇನಾ ಇನ್‌ಸ್ಟಿಟ್ಯೂಟ್ ಆಫ್ ಹೆಲ್ತ್ ಸೈನ್ಸ್‌ನಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆಯಿತು
ಅಥೇನಾ ಇನ್‌ಸ್ಟಿಟ್ಯೂಟ್ ಆಫ್ ಹೆಲ್ತ್ ಸೈನ್ಸ್‌ನ ವಾರ್ಷಿಕ ಕ್ರೀಡಾ ಮತ್ತು ಅಥ್ಲೆಟಿಕ್ ಮೀಟ್ ಅನ್ನು 24 ಫೆಬ್ರವರಿ 2025 ರಂದು ಮಂಗಳೂರಿನ ಮಂಗಳಾ ಸ್ಟೇಡಿಯಂನಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆಸಲಾಯಿತು.
ಉದ್ಘಾಟನಾ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮವು ಪ್ರಥಮ ವರ್ಷದ ಬಿಎಸ್ಸಿ(ಎನ್) ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳಿಂದ ಪ್ರಾರ್ಥನಾ ಗೀತೆಯ ಮೂಲಕ ದೇವರ ಆಶೀರ್ವಾದವನ್ನು ಕೋರುವ ಮೂಲಕ ಪ್ರಾರಂಭವಾಯಿತು. ಅಥೇನಾ ಆರೋಗ್ಯ ವಿಜ್ಞಾನ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಯ ಟ್ರಸ್ಟಿ ಡಾ.ಆಶಿತ್ ಶೆಟ್ಟಿಯಾನ್ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷತೆ ವಹಿಸಿದ್ದರು. ಎಐಎಎಚ್‌ಎಸ್ ಉಪನ್ಯಾಸಕರಾದ ಕವನ ಪೂಜಾರಿ ಅವರು ಸಭೆಗೆ ಆತ್ಮೀಯವಾಗಿ ಸ್ವಾಗತಿಸಿದರು. ಅಥೇನಾ ಕಾಲೇಜ್ ಆಫ್ ನರ್ಸಿಂಗ್‌ನ ಭಗಿನಿ. ದೀಪಾ ಪೀಟರ್ ಪ್ರಾಂಶುಪಾಲರು, ಅಥೇನಾ ಇನ್‌ಸ್ಟಿಟ್ಯೂಟ್ ಆಫ್ ಅಲೈಡ್ ಹೆಲ್ತ್ ಸೈನ್ಸಸ್‌ನ ಪ್ರಾಂಶುಪಾಲರು ಡಾ. ನಂದಿನಿ ಎಂ. ವೇದಿಕೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರೊ.ಸುನಿತಾ ಲೋಬೋ ಉಪ ಪ್ರಾಂಶುಪಾಲರು, ಶ್ರೀಮತಿ ಪ್ರಿಯಾಂಕಾ ಡಿಸೋಜ ಮತ್ತು ಶ್ರೀಮತಿ ವಿಯೋಲಾ ಡಿಸೋಜ ಎಸ್‌ಎನ್‌ಎ ಸಲಹೆಗಾರರು, ಶ್ರೀ ಪ್ರವೀಣ್ ಕುಮಾರ್ ಮತ್ತು ಶ್ರೀ ಕರುಣಾಕರನ್ ದೈಹಿಕ ಶಿಕ್ಷಣ ನಿರ್ದೇಶಕರು ಉಪಸ್ಥಿತರಿದ್ದರು. ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದಲ್ಲಿ ನರ್ಸಿಂಗ್ ಮತ್ತು ಮಿತ್ರ ಕಾಲೇಜು ಅಧ್ಯಾಪಕರು ಮತ್ತು ಬ್ಯಾಂಡ್ ಮಾಸ್ಟರ್ ಶ್ರೀ ವಿಜಯ್ ಒಲಿವೇರಾ ಉಪಸ್ಥಿತರಿದ್ದರು.
ಕಾಲೇಜು ಬ್ಯಾಂಡ್ ನೇತೃತ್ವದ ಮಾರ್ಚ್-ಪಾಸ್ಟ್‌ನೊಂದಿಗೆ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮವು ಪ್ರಾರಂಭವಾಯಿತು, ನಂತರ ಕ್ರೀಡಾಪಟುಗಳು, ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಬ್ಯಾಚ್‌ಗಳ ಮಿತ್ರ ಕೋರ್ಸ್‌ಗಳು, GNM & B.Sc. ನರ್ಸಿಂಗ್ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು.
ಡಾ. ಆಶಿತ್ ಶೆಟ್ಟಿಯವರು ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷೀಯ ಭಾಷಣ ಮಾಡಿದರು ಮತ್ತು ಕಾಲೇಜು ಧ್ವಜವನ್ನು ಹಾರಿಸುವ ಮೂಲಕ ಮತ್ತು ಸುಂದರವಾದ ಬಲೂನ್‌ಗಳನ್ನು ಕಟ್ಟಿರುವ ಬ್ಯಾನರ್ ಅನ್ನುಬಿಡುಗಡೆ ಮಾಡುವ ಮೂಲ ಕ್ರೀಡಾಕೂಟ 2025 ಅನ್ನು ಮುಕ್ತಗೊಳಿಸಿದರು.
ಭಗಿನಿ. ದೀಪಾ ಪೀಟರ್ ಅವರು ತಮ್ಮ ಭಾಷಣದಲ್ಲಿ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ಉತ್ಸಾಹ, ಪರಿಶ್ರಮ ಮತ್ತು ಉತ್ಸಾಹದಿಂದ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಭಾಗವಹಿಸಲು ಅತ್ಯುತ್ತಮವಾದದ್ದನ್ನು ನೀಡುವಂತೆ ಪ್ರೇರೇಪಿಸಿದರು.
ಕ್ರೀಡಾಜ್ಯೋತಿಯನ್ನು ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಯ ಅತ್ಯುತ್ತಮ ಕ್ರೀಡಾಪಟುಗಳು ಮಾಡಿದರು ಮತ್ತು ಜ್ಯೋತಿಯು ನಿಜವಾದ ಕ್ರೀಡಾ ಮನೋಭಾವವನ್ನು ಸೂಚಿಸುತ್ತದೆ. ನಂತರ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿ ಪ್ರತಿನಿಧಿಗಳು, ಶ್ರೀಮತಿ ವಿಯೋಲಾ ಡಿಸೋಜಾ ಅವರು ಪ್ರಮಾಣ ವಚನ ಸ್ವೀಕಾರ ಸಮಾರಂಭವನ್ನು ಪ್ರಸ್ತಾಪಿಸಿದರು.
3ನೇ ವರ್ಷದ ಬಿ.ಎಸ್ಸಿ. ನರ್ಸಿಂಗ್ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ಫ್ಲಾಶ್ ಮಾಬ್ ನೃತ್ಯದ ಮೂಲಕ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮಕ್ಕೆ ಸೊಬಗನ್ನು ನೀಡಿದರು.
ಪುರುಷರು ಮತ್ತು ಮಹಿಳೆಯರ ವರ್ಗಕ್ಕೆ ಪ್ರತಿ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮಗಳನ್ನು ನಡೆಸಲಾಯಿತು ಮತ್ತು ಸಕ್ರಿಯ ಭಾಗವಹಿಸುವಿಕೆ ಮತ್ತು ಉತ್ಸಾಹವನ್ನು ಒಳಗೊಂಡಿರುವ ಕಾಲೇಜಿನ ಸಿಬ್ಬಂದಿಗಳಿಗಾಗಿ ಕೆಲವು ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮಗಳನ್ನು ಸಹ ನಡೆಸಲಾಯಿತು. ಪ್ರತಿ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದ ಮಧ್ಯಸ್ಥಿಕೆಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ಪ್ರಮಾಣಪತ್ರಗಳನ್ನು ನೀಡಿದ ನಂತರ ವಿಜೇತರಿಗೆ I,II ಮತ್ತು III ಬೆಲೆಗಳೊಂದಿಗೆ ಗೌರವಿಸಲಾಯಿತು. ಸಮಾರೋಪ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದಲ್ಲಿ
ಭಗಿನಿ. ದೀಪಾ ಪೀಟರ್ ವಿಜೇತರನ್ನು ಗೌರವಿಸಿದರು, ಶ್ರೀಮತಿ ಪ್ರಿಯಾಂಕಾ ಧನ್ಯವಾದಗಳನ್ನು ಅರ್ಪಿಸಿದರು ಮತ್ತು ಕಾಲೇಜು ಧ್ವಜಾ ಸಮಾರೋಪ ಮಾಡುವ ಮೂಲಕ ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರ ಗೀತೆಯೊಂದಿಗೆ ಮುಕ್ತಾಯಗೊಂಡಿತು. 4ನೇ ವರ್ಷದ B.Sc ನ ಕುಮಾರಿ ರೋಸ್ ಮೇರಿ ಮತ್ತು ಕುಮಾರಿ ಸಂಪ್ರೀತಾ. ನರ್ಸಿಂಗ್ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿನಿ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮ ನಿರೂಪಿಸಿದರು.
VIBRANT ANNUAL SPORTS 2025 HELD AT ATHENA INSTITUTE OF HEALTH SCIENCES
The Annual Sports and Athletic Meet of Athena Institute of Health Science was conducted on 24th February 2025 at Mangala Stadium Mangaluru.
The inaugural programme began by invoking God’s blessing through prayer song by I year B.Sc.(N) students. Dr. Ashith Shettian, Trustee of Athena Institute of Health Sciences presided over the event. Ms. Kavana Poojary Lecturer, AIAHS extended a warm welcome to the gathering. Prof. Sr. Deepa Peter Principal of Athena College of Nursing, Dr. Nandini M Principal of Athena Institute of Allied Health Sciences, Prof. Sunitha Lobo Vice Principal, Mrs. Priyanka D’souza & Mrs. Viola D’souza SNA Advisors, Mr. Praveen Kumar & Mr. Karunakaran physical education directors were present on the dais. The faculty of the nursing, allied college and the bandmaster Mr. Vijay Olivera were present during the event.
The program began with a march-past led by the college band followed by the athletes, all the batches of allied courses, GNM & B.Sc. Nursing students.
Dr. Ashith Shettian delivered the presidential address and declared the sports meet 2025 open by hosting the college flag and releasing balloons.
Sr. Deepa peter in her speech motivated the students to give the best to participate in all the events with passion, perseverance and enthusiasm.
The Krida Jyothi was done by the best athletes of the institution and the torch signified the spirit of the true sportsmanship. The students representatives then pledged the oath which was administered by Mrs. Viola Dsouza .
Events each for men and women category were conducted and a few events also conducted for the staffs of the college involving active participation and enthusiasm. The winners were honoured with I, II & III prices after each event meddles and certificates were given. At the valedictory programme
Sr. Deepa Peter honerd the winners, Mrs. Priyanka delivered vote of thanks and the meet closed to by lowering the college flag and concluded with the college anthem. The program was compered by Ms. Rosemaria and Ms. Sampritha of IVth B.Sc. nursing students.
