ನೆಲ್ಲೂರು: ತಮ್ಮ ತವರೂರು ಕುಂದಾಪುರ ಪಡುಕೋಣೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಕಲಿತು MA, Bed ಪದವಿ ಪಡೆದು, ದೈವಿಕ ಗುರುವಿನ ಧರ್ಮನಿಷ್ಠ ಶಿಷ್ಯರ ಸಭೆಯಿಂದ (Pious Disciples of the Divine Master) ಭಗಿನಿಯ ದೀಕ್ಷೆ ಪಡೆದು, ಆಂದ್ರದ ನೆಲ್ಲೂರಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಸೇಂಟ್ ಜಾನ್ಸ್ ಆಂಗ್ಲ (Play School to High school) ಮಾಧ್ಯಮ ಪ್ರೌಢಶಾಲೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಮುಖ್ಯೋಪಾಧ್ಯಾಯಿನಿಯಾಗಿ ಸೇವೆ ಸಲ್ಲಿಸುತ್ತೀರುವ ಶಿಕ್ಷಕಿ ಭಗಿನಿ ಶಾಂತಿ ಪ್ರಿಯಾ ಲೂಯಿಸ್ ಇವರು ಅನುದಾನ ರಹಿತ ಶಾಲಾ ನಿರ್ವಹಣ ಸಂಘದಿಂದ (APPUSMA) (Andhra Pradesh Private Unaided School Management Association) ಅತ್ಯುತ್ತಮ ಮುಖ್ಯೋಪಾಧ್ಯಾಯರ ಪ್ರಶಸ್ತಿಗೆ ಭಾಜನರಾಗಿದ್ದಾರೆ.

   ಭಗಿನಿ ಶಾಂತಿ ಪ್ರಿಯಾ ಲೂಯಿಸ್ ಇವರು ಮೂಲತಹ ಕುಂದಾಪುರ ಸಮೀಪದ ತ್ರಾಸಿಯ ದೇವಳ್ಳಿಯವರಾಗಿದ್ದು, ಇವರು ಪಡುಕೋಣೆ ಸಂತ ಅಂತೋನಿ ಚರ್ಚಿನವರಾಗಿದ್ದಾರೆ, ಇವರು ತಮ್ಮ ಶಿಕ್ಷಣವನ್ನು ಮೋವಾಡಿ ಸರ್ಕಾರಿ ಪ್ರಾಥಮಿಕ ಶಾಲೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಮುಗಿಸಿ, ಕುಂದಾಪುರ ಸಂತ  ಜೋಸೆಫ್ ಬಾಲಕಿಯರ ಪ್ರೌಢಶಾಲೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಕಲಿತು, ಮುಂದೆ, ಕುಂದಾಪುರ ಸರಕಾರಿ ಜೂನಿಯರ್ ಕಾಲೇಜು ಪಿಯುಸಿ ನ್ನು ಓದಿದರು. ನಂತರ ಮುಂಬಯಿಯ ಸೇಂಟ್ ಆಂಡ್ರ್ಯೂಸ್ ಕಾಲೇಜಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಪದವಿ ಪಡೆದು, ನಾರಾಯಣ ಶಿಕ್ಷಣ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಬಿ ಎಡ್ ತರಬೇತಿಯನ್ನು ಪಡೆದರು.

   ತಮ್ಮ ಶಿಕ್ಷಣ ಜೀವನ ಮತ್ತು ಧಾರ್ಮಿಕ ಜೀವನವನ್ನು ಆಂದ್ರದ ನೆಲ್ಲೂರಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಆರಂಭಿಸಿದರು. 20 ವರ್ಷದ ಶಿಕ್ಷಕ – ಭಗಿನಿಯ ಜೀವನ ಸಾರಿದ ಇವರು ನೆಲ್ಲೂರಿನ ಅನುದಾನ ರಹಿತ 170 ಶಾಲೆಗಳ ಮಧ್ಯೆ ಇವರಿಗೆ ನೆಲ್ಲೂರಿನ ಅನುದಾನ ರಹಿತ ಶಾಲಾ ನಿರ್ವಹಣ ಸಂಘದಿಂದ ಅತ್ಯುತ್ತಮ ಮುಖ್ಯೋಪಾಧ್ಯಾಯರ ಪ್ರಶಸ್ತಿಗೆ ಆಯ್ಕೆಯಾಗಿ ಸೆಪ್ಟೆಂಬರ್ 5, 2023 ರಂದು ನೆಲ್ಲೂರು ಶಾಸಕ ಡಾ.ಅನಿಲ್ ಕುಮಾರ್ ಯಾದವ್ ಅವರ ಸಮ್ಮುಖದಲ್ಲಿ ಈ ಪ್ರಶಸ್ತಿಯನ್ನು ಪಡೆದುಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ.

   ಇವರನ್ನು ಇವರ ಸಭೆಯ (PDDM) ಪ್ರಾಂತೀಯ ಸುಪೀರಿಯರ್,  ಮದರ್ ಜನರಲ್, ಸಭೆಯ ಸಹೋದರಿಯರು, ಪೋಷಕರು ಅಭಿನಂದಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ. “ನನ್ನ ಸಾಧನೆಗೆ ಪ್ರಾಂತೀಯ ಸುಪೀರಿಯರ್,  ಮದರ್ ಜನರಲ್, ನನ್ನ ಸಭೆಯ ಸಹೋದರಿಯರು, ಪೋಷಕರ ಬೆಂಬಲಕ್ಕೆ, ಭಗಿನಿ ಶಾಂತಿ ಪ್ರಿಯಾ ಧನ್ಯವಾದಗಳನ್ನು ಅರ್ಪಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ.

Sister Shanhti Priya Lewis, a teacher from Padukone, was awarded the Best Headmistress Award in Nellore, Andhra Pradesh.

Nellore: Sister Shanti Priya Lewis, who studied in her hometown Kundapura Padukone and obtained her MA, Bed degree, received her ordination as a nun from the Pious Disciples of the Divine Master, and serves as the headmistress of St. John’s English Medium High School (Play School to High school) in Nellore, Andhra, is a teacher who runs a non-grant school. Awarded the Best Headmaster Award by APPUSMA (Andhra Pradesh Private Unaided School Management Association).
Sister Shanti Priya Louise, originally from Thrasi Devalli near Kundapur, belongs to Saint Anthony’s Church, Padukone, completed her education at Movadi Government Primary School, studied at Saint Joseph’s Girls’ High School, Kundapur and further, Kundapur Government Junior College, PUC. He then graduated from St. Andrew’s College, Mumbai and received his B.Ed training from Narayana Institute of Education.
He started his educational life and religious life in Nellore, Andhra Pradesh. A 20-year-old teacher – who has lived a life of a sister-in-law, was selected for the best headmaster award by the Nellore Non-Granted School Management Association among 170 non-grant schools in Nellore and received this award in the presence of Nellore MLA Dr. Anil Kumar Yadav on September 5, 2023.
She was felicitated by the Provincial Superior of her Congregation (PDDM), Mother General, Sisters of the Congregation, Parents. “The Provincial Superior, Mother General, Sisters of my Congregation, Parents for their support, Sister Shanti Priya thanked for my achievement.

ಮಂಗ್ಳೂರು: ಅ.23: ಕಥೊಲಿಕ್ ಸಭಾ ಮಂಗ್ಳುರ್ ಪ್ರದೇಶ್(ರಿ) ಇವರು ಕಥೊಲಿಕ ಕೈಸ್ತ ಪತ್ರಕರ್ತರನ್ನು ಗುರುತಿಸುವ ಸಲುವಾಗಿ ಕಥೊಲಿಕ ಕ್ರೈಸ್ತ ಪತ್ರಕರ್ತರ ಸಹಮಿಲನ ಹಾಗೂ ಸನ್ಮಾನ ಕಾರ್ಯವನ್ನು ತಾರೀಖು 22-10-2023 ರಂದು ರವಿವಾರ ಸಾಯಂಕಾಲ ಮಂಗಳೂರಿನ ಜೆಪ್ಪು ಸಂತ ಅಂತೋಣಿಯವರ ಆಶ್ರಮದ ‘ಸಂಭ್ರಮ’ ಮಂಗಳೂರು ಸಭಾಂಗಣದಲ್ಲಿ ಆಯೋಜಿಸಲಾಗಿತ್ತು.

ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮವನ್ನು ಉದ್ಘಾಟಿಸಿದ ಧರ್ಮಪ್ರಾಂತ್ಯದ ಧರ್ಮಾಧ್ಯಕ್ಷರಾದ ಅತೀ ವಂದನೀಯ ಡಾ|ಪೀಟರ್ ಪಾವ್ಲ್ ಸಲ್ಡಾನ್ಹಾರವರು “ಬರೆದದ್ದು ಶಾಸ್ವತ, ಕೇಳಿದ್ದು ಗಾಳಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ತೇಲಿ ಹೋಗುತ್ತೆ, ಸಮಾಜದಲ್ಲಿ ಮಾಧ್ಯಮದವರ ಸೇವೆ ಅಮೂಲ್ಯವಾಗಿದೆ. ನಮ್ಮ ಸಮುದಾಯದ ಮಾಧ್ಯಮ ಮಿತ್ರರಿಗೆ ನಾವು ಅವರ ಸಮಸ್ಯೆಗೆ ಸ್ಪಂದಿಸುತ್ತೇವೆ’ ಎಂದು ಸನ್ಮಾಕ್ಕೆ ಕಾರಣರಾದವರಿಗೆ ಮತ್ತು ಸನ್ಮಾನಿತರಾದವರಿಗೆ ಅಭಿನಂದಿಸಿದರು.
ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದಲ್ಲಿ ಕ್ರೈಸ್ತ ಸಮುದಾಯದವರಾಗಿ ಪತ್ರಿಕಾ, ಟಿ.ವಿ. ಇತರ ಮಾದ್ಯಮದ ಸಂಸ್ಥಾಪಕರಿಗೆ, ಸಂಪಾದಕರಿಗೆ ಮತ್ತು ವರದಿಗಾರರನ್ನು ಶಾಲು ಹೊದಿಸಿ, ಫಲಪುಷ್ಪ ಮತ್ತು ಸ್ಮರಣಿಕೆ ನೀಡಿ ಗೌರವಿಸಲಾಯಿತು.
ವೇದಿಕೆ ಹಂಚಿಕೊಂಡ ಅತಿಥಿಗಳು ತಮ್ಮ ಸಂದೇಶವನ್ನು ನೀಡಿ ಮಾಧ್ಯಮ ಮಿತ್ರರನ್ನು ಹುರಿದುಂಬಿಸಿ “ಮಾಧ್ಯಮದವರು ಸಮಾಜದ ಬೆಳಕಾಗಿದ್ದಾರೆ” ಎಂಬ ಅರ್ಥದಲ್ಲಿ ಮಾಧ್ಯದವರಿಗೆ ಅವರ ಸೇವೆ ಕೈಗೊಳ್ಳಲು ಎಲ್ಲರ ಸಹಕಾರ ಅಗತ್ಯವಿದೆಯೆಂಬ, ನಿಲುವನ್ನು ವ್ಯಕ್ತಪಡಿಸಿದರು.
ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದ ಸಂಚಾಲಕರಾದ. ರೋಲ್ಫಿ ಡಿಕೋಸ್ತಾರವರು ಪ್ರಸ್ತಾವಿಸಿ ಸ್ವಾಗತಗೈದು ಈ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮ ಹಲವಾರು ವರ್ಷಗಳ ಕನಸು. ಮಾಧ್ಯಮದವರನ್ನು ಗೌರವಿಸಲು ಅತ್ಯಂತ ಸಂತೋಷವಾಗುತ್ತಿದೆ ಎಂದು ತಿಳಿಸಿದರು. ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷರು, ಕಥೊಲಿಕ್ ಸಭಾ ಮಂಗ್ಳುರ್ ಪ್ರದೇಶ್(ರಿ) ಇದರ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷರಾದ ಶ್ರೀ ಆಲ್ವಿನ್ ಡಿ ಸೋಜಾರವರು “ಮಾಧ್ಯಮ ಮಿತ್ರರೊಂದಿಗೆ ತಾವು ಕಥೊಲಿಕ್ ಸಭಾ ಸದಾ ಇರಲು ಸಿದ್ಧರಿದ್ದೇವೆ, ಹಾಗೇ ಎಲ್ಲರೂ ಕೂಡ ಮಾಧ್ಯಮದವರ ಅಗತ್ಯೆಯನ್ನು ತಿಳಿದುಕೊಳ್ಳಬೇಕು” ಎಂದು ತಿಳಿಸಿದರು. ಶ್ರೀ ನೋರ್ಬರ್ಟ್ ಮಿಸ್ಕಿತ್ ಮತ್ತು ಶ್ರೀಮತಿ ಲವೀನಾ ಗ್ರೆಟ್ಟಾ ಡಿಸೋಜಾರವರು ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮವನ್ನು ನಿರೂಪಿಸಿದರು.

Mangaluru: A. 23: Catholic Sabha Mangaluru Pradesh (RI) organized a meeting and honor function of Catholic Christian Journalists in order to recognize the journalists of Catholic Church on the date 22-10-2023 on Sunday evening at ‘Sambhrama’ Mangaluru Hall of Jeppu Sant Antoni’s Ashram, Mangaluru.

The program was inaugurated by Most Venerable Bishop of Manglore Dr Peter Paul Saldanha along with other dignitaries by lighting the lamp. Mr. Alvin D Souza, President of Catholic Sabha Mangalore Pradesh(ri) presided over the programme. Venerable Dr. J.B. Saldanha, Spiritual Director of Catholic Sabha Mangalore Pradesh(ri) and Venerable Fr.J.B. Crasta, Director of Jeppu Sant Antoni’s Ashram participated in the forum as chief guests. Daijiworld Media Pvt. Ltd. Founder Mr. Walter Nandalike, President of Karnataka Journalists Association, Maharashtra Mr. Rones Bantwal, Editor and Publisher of karavali suddi Mr. Roshan Boniface Martis, Central Secretary of Catholic Sabha Ms. Vilma Monteiro, Program Organizer Mr. Paul Rolfi DCosta He was the guest of honor for the program.

Rev. Bishop, Dr. Peter Paul Saldanha, the Dean of the diocese who inaugurated the program said, “What is written is eternal, What is heard floats in the air,, the service of the media is invaluable in the society. We will respond to the media friends of our community and congratulated those who were responsible for the award and those who received the award.

Press, TV as members of the Christian community in the program. Other media founders, editors and reporters were felicitated with shawls, flowers and souvenirs.
The guests who shared the stage gave their message and cheered up the media friends and expressed the stand that “media is the light of society” meaning that media needs everyone’s cooperation to do their service.

Chairman of the program, Mr. Alvin D Souza, President of Catholic Sabha Mangalore Pradesh(R) said, “Catholic Sabha is always ready to be with media friends, and everyone should know the need of media”.
