ಕಳೆದ 20 ವರ್ಷ ಗಳಿಂದ ಉದ್ಯೋಗ ನಡೆಸಿ ಜನರೊಂದಿಗೆ ಬೆರೆತು ಸಮಾಜ ಸೇವೆ ಮಾಡುತ್ತ ಯುವಕರಿಗೆ ಉದ್ಯೋಗ ನೀಡುವಲ್ಲಿ ಸಹಕರಿಸುತ್ತ ಬಂದಿರುವ ಜೆಸಿಐ ಕುಂದಾಪುರ ಸಿಟಿ ಯಾ ಸ್ಥಾಪಕ ಸದ್ಯಸ್ಯ ಪೂರ್ವ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷರು ಪೂರ್ವ ವಲಯ ಉಪಾಧ್ಯಕ್ಷ ರಾದ ನಾಗೇಶ್ ನಾವಡ ಇವರಿಗೆ ಉದ್ಯೋಗ ರತ್ನ ಪ್ರಶಸ್ತಿ ನೀಡಿ ಸನ್ಮಾನಿಸಲಾಯಿತು

ಕೊಂಕಣಿ ಸಂಗೀತ ಲೋಕದ ಖ್ಯಾತ ಗಾಯಕ, ಗೀತರಚನೆಕಾರ ಮತ್ತು ಸಂಯೋಜಕ ಕ್ಲೋಡ್ ಡಿ’ಸೋಜಾ(67) ಅವರು ಜುಲೈ 24ರ ಸೋಮವಾರದಂದು ಅಲ್ಪಕಾಲದ ಅನಾರೋಗ್ಯದಿಂದಾಗಿ ಮಂಗಳೂರಿನಲ್ಲಿ ನಿಧನರಾಗಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಈ ಮೂಲಕ ಅವರು ಗಾಯನವನ್ನು ನಿಲ್ಲಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ.. ಸುಮಾರು 61 ಸಂಗೀತ ‘ನೈಟ್ಸ್’ ಗಳನ್ನು ಪ್ರಸ್ತುತ ಪಡಿಸಿರುವ ಕ್ಲೋಡ್ ಡಿಸೋಜಾ ಅವರು ಗಾಯಕ ಮಾತ್ರವಲ್ಲದೆ  ಗೀತರಚನೆಕಾರ ಮತ್ತು ಸಂಯೋಜಕರಾಗಿಯೂ ಸೇವೆ ಸಲ್ಲಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ ಡ್ರಮ್ಸ್ ಮತ್ತು ಗಿಟಾರ್‌‌ನಂತಹ ಸಂಗೀತ ವಾದ್ಯಗಳನ್ನು ನುಡಿಸಿಯು ಅವರು ಕೊಂಕಣಿ ಸಂಗೀತ ಕ್ಷೇತ್ರಕ್ಕೆ ಕೊಡುಗೆ ನೀಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ.

ಇನ್ನು ಕ್ಲೋಡ್ ಅವರು ಬರಹಗಾರ ಕೂಡ ಆಗಿದ್ದು 40 ಕ್ಕೂ ಹೆಚ್ಚು ಕೊಂಕಣಿ ನಾಟಕಗಳನ್ನು ಪ್ರದರ್ಶಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಸಂಗೀತ ನಿರ್ದೇಶಕ ಮತ್ತು ನಟರಾಗಿ ಸಾಧನೆ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಕ್ಲೌಡ್ ಅವರು 15 ಸಂಗೀತ ಸಿಡಿಗಳನ್ನು ಬಿಡುಗಡೆಗೊಳಿಸಿದ್ದು,  ಇತರ ಕಲಾವಿದರ ಆಲ್ಬಮ್‌ಗಳಿಗೆ ರಿದಮ್ ಸಂಯೋಜಕರಾಗಿ ಸೇವೆ ಸಲ್ಲಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ.

     ಕ್ಲೋಡ್ ಅವರ ಧ್ವನಿ ಮತ್ತು ಧಾರ್ಮಿಕ ನಾಟಕಗಳಿಗೆ ‘ಸಂದೇಶ ಪ್ರಶಸ್ತಿ’ ಮತ್ತು ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ ಸಾಹಿತ್ಯ ಅಕಾಡೆಮಿ ಪ್ರಶಸ್ತಿ ಸೇರಿದಂತೆ ಹಲವಾರು ಪುರಸ್ಕಾರಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ಪ್ರಶಸ್ತಿಗಳು ಲಭಿಸಿದೆ.ಈ ಬಹುಮುಖ ಪ್ರತಿಭೆಯ ಕಲಾವಿದನನ್ನು ಕಳೆದುಕೊಂಡ ಕೊಂಕಣಿ ಸಂಗೀತ ಲೋಕ ಸಂತಾಪ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಪಡಿಸಿದೆ.

ಜನನುಡಿ ಮಾಧ್ಯಮ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆ ಅವರಿಗೆ ಅಂತರಾಳದ ಶ್ರದ್ದಾಂಜಲಿ ಅರ್ಪಿಸುತ್ತದೆ.

Famous Konkani singer Claude D’Souza stopped the song

Renowned Konkani music singer, lyricist and composer Claude D’Souza (67) passed away in Mangalore on Monday, July 24 after a brief illness. With this he has stopped singing.. Claude D’Souza, who has presented around 61 musical ‘nights’, has not only served as a singer but also as a lyricist and composer playing musical instruments like drums and guitar and has contributed to the Konkani music scene.

Claude is also a writer and has staged more than 40 Konkani plays. Accomplished as music director and actor. Claude has released 15 music CDs and served as a rhythm composer for other artists’ albums.

Claude has received several accolades and awards including the ‘Sandesh Award’ and the Karnataka Sahitya Academy Award for his voice and religious dramas. The Konkani music world has mourned the loss of this multi-talented artiste.

ಕುಂದಾಪುರ:ಜು.24. ಜಲಪಾತ ವೀಕ್ಷಣೆಗೆ ತೆರಳಿದ್ದ ವೇಳೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಜು.23 ರಂದು ಯುವಕನೋರ್ವ ಕಾಲು ಜಾರಿ ಬಿದ್ದು ನೀರುಪಾಲಾದ ಘಟನೆ ಕೊಲ್ಲೂರು ಪೊಲೀಸ್ ಠಾಣಾ ವ್ಯಾಪ್ತಿಯ ಅರಶಿನಗುಂಡಿ ಜಲಪಾತದಲ್ಲಿ ಸಂಭವಿಸಿದೆ. ನೀರುಪಾಲಾದ ಯುವಕ. ಭದ್ರಾವತಿ ಮೂಲದ ಶರತ್ ಕುಮಾರ್ (23) ಎಂದು ತಿಳಿದು ಬಂದಿದೆ.

ಭಾನುವಾರ ಮಧ್ಯಾಹ್ನ ಕೊಲ್ಲೂರಿಗೆ ತನ್ನ ಸ್ನೇಹಿತ ಗುರುರಾಜ್ ನೊಂದಿಗೆ ಕಾರಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಬಂದಿದ್ದ ಶರತ್ ಅರಶಿನಗುಂಡಿ ಜಲಪಾತಕ್ಕೆ ತೆರಳಿದ್ದರು. ಈ ವೇಳೆ ಬಂಡೆಕಲ್ಲಿನ ಮೇಲೆ ನಿಂತು ಜಲಪಾತದಿಂದ ನೀರು ಧುಮ್ಮಿಕ್ಕುವ ದೃಶ್ಯ ನೋಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದ ವೇಳೆ ಕಾಲು ಜಾರಿ ನೀರಿನ ಸೆಳೆತದಲ್ಲಿ ಕೊಚ್ಚಿ ಹೋಫಿದ್ದಾನೆ.

  ಅವಘಡ ನಡೆದ ಕೂಡಲೇ ಶರತ್ ಸ್ನೇಹಿತ ಗುರುರಾಜ್ ಸಮೀಪದಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಅರಣ್ಯ ಇಲಾಖೆ ಸಿಬ್ಬಂದಿಗೆ ಸುದ್ದಿ ಮುಟ್ಟಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಕಾರ್ಯಪ್ರವೃತ್ತರಾದ ಸಿಬ್ಬಂದಿಗಳು ಪೊಲೀಸರಿಗೆ ಮಾಹಿತಿ ನೀಡಿ ಸ್ಥಳೀಯರ ಸಹಕಾರದಿಂದ ಕಾರ್ಯಾಚರಣೆ ನಡೆಸಿದರು, ಆದರೂ ಶರತ್ ಪತ್ತೆಯಾಗಲಿಲ್ಲ. ಅಗ್ನಿಶಾಮಕ ದಳ, ಅರಣ್ಯ ಇಲಾಖೆ‌ ಸಿಬ್ಬಂದಿಗಳು, ಕೊಲ್ಲೂರು ಪೊಲೀಸರು ಸೋಮವಾರ ಬೆಳಿಗ್ಗೆನಿಂದಲೂ ಪುನ: ಕಾರ್ಯಾಚರಣೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ತೊಡಗಿಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದು, ಈಜುಪಟು ಈಶ್ವರ್ ಮಲ್ಪೆ ಮತ್ತವರ ತಂಡವೂ ಆಗಮಿಸಿದೆ.

ಶರತ್ ಸ್ವ ಉದ್ಯೋಗಿಯಾಗಿದ್ದು, ಅವರ ಸ್ನೇಹಿತ ಗುರುರಾಜ್ ಐಟಿ ಕಂಪೆನಿಯೊಂದರಲ್ಲಿ ಕೆಲಸ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದು, ಭಾನುವಾರ ರಜೆ ಹಿನ್ನೆಲೆ ಜಲಪಾತ ವೀಕ್ಷಣೆಗೆ ಬಂದಿದ್ದರು. ಕಳೆದ‌ ಕೆಲ ದಿನಗಳಿಂದ‌ ಮಳೆ ಜೋರಾಗಿ ಸುರಿಯುತ್ತಿದ್ದರಿಂದ ಅರಶಿನಗುಂಡಿ ಜಲಪಾತದಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರವಾಸಿಗರಿಗೆ ನಿಷೇಧ ಹೇರಲಾಗಿತ್ತು. ಆದರೂ ಅರಣ್ಯ ಇಲಾಖೆಯ ಸಿಬ್ಬಂದಿಗಳು ಪ್ರವೇಶ ದ್ವಾರದಲ್ಲಿರುವುದನ್ನು ನೋಡಿ ಶರತ್ ಹಾಗೂ ಆತನ‌ ಸ್ನೇಹಿತ ಬೇರೊಂದು ದಾರಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಜಲಪಾತಕ್ಕೆ‌ ತೆರಳಿದ್ದರು ಎನ್ನಲಾಗಿದೆ.

Kolluru Arashinagundi Falls View Tragedy: A young man slipped and got swept away in the falls

Kundapur: Ju.24. On June 23, while going to see the waterfall, a young man slipped and fell into the water at the Arashinagundi waterfall under Kollur police station. A young man from Neerupala. It has been learned that Sarath Kumar (23) hails from Bhadravati.
Sarath, who had come to Kolluri with his friend Gururaj in a car on Sunday afternoon, had gone to Arashinagundi waterfall. At this time, while standing on a rock and watching the water gushing from the waterfall, he slipped and was crushed by the water.
Soon after the accident happened, Sharath’s friend Gururaj informed the forest department personnel nearby.   ಪ್ರತಿಭಟನೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಕಾಂಗ್ರೆಸ್,CPI, CPIM ಪಕ್ಷಗಳು ಸೇರಿದಂತೆ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿ, ಯುವಜನ,ಮಹಿಳಾ,ದಲಿತ, ಆದಿವಾಸಿ,ವಕೀಲ, ಸಾಂಸ್ಕೃತಿಕ ಸಂಘಟನೆಗಳ ಮುಖಂಡರು ಹಾಗೂ ಕಾರ್ಯಕರ್ತರು ಹೆಚ್ಚಿನ ಸಂಖ್ಯೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಭಾಗವಹಿಸಿದ್ದರು.

Massive protest by like-minded people condemning Mangalore Manipur incident

He addressed the gathering.

A large number of leaders and activists of Congress, CPI, CPIM parties, students, youth, women, dalit, adivasi, lawyers, cultural organizations participated in the protest.

ಕುಂದಾಪುರ: ಮಣಿಪುರ ಮಹಿಳೆಯರ ಬೆತ್ತಲೆ ಮೆರವಣಿಗೆ ಭಾರತದ ಆತ್ಮವನ್ನು ಘಾಸಿಗೊಳಿಸಿದೆ. ನಾವೆಲ್ಲರೂ ತಲೆ ತಗ್ಗಿಸಿ ನಿಲ್ಲುವಂತಾಗಿದೆ* ಹಿಂಸಾಚಾರದಲ್ಲಿ ನಲುಗಿರುವ ಮಣಿಪುರ ಜನತೆ, ಅತ್ಯಾಚಾರಕ್ಕೊಳಗಾದ ಮಹಿಳೆಯರ ಜೊತೆ ನಾವೆಲ್ಲರೂ ನಿಲ್ಲಬೇಕಿದೆ. ಈ ಹಿಂಸಾಚಾರಕ್ಕೆ ಅಂತ್ಯ ಹಾಡುವಂತೆ ಸರ್ಕಾರವನ್ನು ಒತ್ತಾಯಿಸಬೇಕಿದೆ.
ಆ ನಿಟ್ಟಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಕುಂದಾಪುರದ ಸಮಾನ ಮನಸ್ಕ ಸಂಘಟನೆಗಳ ವತಿಯಿಂದ ಪ್ರತಿಭಟನಾ ಸಭೆ ಹಮ್ಮಿಕೊಳ್ಳಲಾಗಿದೆ. ತಾವುಗಳು ಹೆಚ್ಚಿನ ಸಂಖ್ಯೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಭಾಗವಹಿಸಬೇಕಾಗಿ ವಿನಂತಿಸುವೆವು.

Protest for Manipur today in Kundapur

Kundapur: Naked procession of Manipur women has hurt the soul of India. We all have to stand with our heads down. We all have to stand with the people of Manipur who are suffering from violence and the women who have been raped. The government should be urged to put an end to this violence.
In this regard, a protest meeting has been organized on behalf of like minded organizations of Kundapur. We request them to participate in large numbers.
