ಶ್ರೀನಿವಾಸಪುರ: ಕ್ಷೇತ್ರದ ಅಭಿವೃದ್ಧಿಗೆ ನನ್ನ ಕೊಡುಗೆ ನೋಡಿ ಚುನಾವಣೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಆಶೀರ್ವಾದ ಮಾಡಿ ಎಂದು ರಮೇಶ್ ಕುಮಾರ್ ಹೇಳಿದರು.
ತಾಲ್ಲೂಕಿನ ಅರಿಕೆರೆ ಗ್ರಾಮದಲ್ಲಿ ಭಾನುವಾರ ಏರ್ಪಡಿಸಿದ್ದ ಕಾಂಗ್ರೆಸ್ ಚುನಾವಣಾ ಪ್ರಚಾರ ಸಭೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಮಾತನಾಡಿದ ಅವರು, ಸೂಟು ಬೂಟು ಹಾಕಿಕೊಂಡು ಬಂದು ಮತ ಕೇಳುತ್ತಾರೆ. ಕ್ಷೇತ್ರಕ್ಕೆ ಅವರ ಕೊಡುಗೆ ಏನೂ ಇರುವುದಿಲ್ಲ. ಎಂದೂ ನಿಮ್ಮ ಕಷ್ಟಕ್ಕೆ ಸ್ಪಂದಿಸಿದವರು ಅವರಲ್ಲ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದರು.
ಸಂವಿಧಾನ ಸಮಾಜದ ಭಾವ ಬೆಸೆದಿದೆ. ಸಂವಿಧಾನ ಶಿಲ್ಪಿ ಡಾ. ಬಿ.ಆರ್.ಅಂಬೇಡ್ಕರ್ ಅವರ ಕೊಡುಗೆಯಾದ ಸಂವಿಧಾನ ಶಾಂತಿಯುತ ಸಹಬಾಳ್ವೆಗೆ ಅನುವು ಮಾಡಿಕೊಟ್ಟಿದೆ. ಹಾಗಾಗಿ ನಾನು ಅಂಬೇಡ್ಕರ್ ಸಿದ್ಧಾತದಲ್ಲಿ ನಂಬಿಕೆಯುಳ್ಳವನು. ಅವರ ಮಾರ್ಗದಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆಯುತ್ತಿದ್ದೇನೆ. ಕ್ಷೇತ್ರದ ಅಭಿವೃದ್ಧಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಪಕ್ಷಪಾತ ಮಾಡಿಲ್ಲ. ಸರ್ಕಾರದ ಸೌಲಭ್ಯ ಪಕ್ಷಾತೀತವಾಗಿ ನೀಡಿದ್ದೇನೆ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದರು.
ವಿಶೇಷ ಕಾಳಜಿ ವಹಿಸಿ ಕ್ಷೇತ್ರಕ್ಕೆ 23 ಸಾವಿರ ಮನೆ ತಂದಿದ್ದೇನೆ. ಕೆಸಿ ವ್ಯಾಲಿ ನೀರು ಕೆರೆಗಳಿಗೆ ಹರಿಸಿ ಅಂತರ್ಜಲ ವೃದ್ಧಿಸುವಂತೆ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದೇನೆ. ಕರೆ ಸುತ್ತಲಿನ ಗ್ರಾಮಗಳ ರೈತರು ಬೆಳೆ ಬೆಳೆದು ಜೀವನ ನಿರ್ವಹಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಅವರಿಗೆ ಸಂತೋಷವಾಗಿದೆ. ಹಾಗಾಗಿ ನನಗೂ ಸಂತೋವಾಗಿದೆ. ಅರಿಕೆರೆ ನಾಗನಾಥೇಶ್ವರ ದೇವಾಲಯ ಪ್ರಸಿದ್ಧಿ ಪಡೆದಿದೆ. ಹಾಗಾಗಿ ಪ್ರವಾಸಿ ಕೇಂದ್ರವನ್ನಾಗಿ ಮಾಡಲಾಗುವುದು. ಗ್ರಾಮಕ್ಕೆ ಅಗತ್ಯವಿರುವ ಎಲ್ಲ ಸೌಲಭ್ಯ ಕಲ್ಪಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ. ಇನ್ನೂ ಬೇಕಾದರೆ ಖಂಡಿತವಾಗಿಯೂ ಒದಗಿಸಲಾಗುವುದು ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದರು.

St Agnes PU College feels immensely proud of the heartwarming results garnered by the students in the Karnataka School Examination and Assessment Board 2023. Samruddhi D topped the Science stream with a praiseworthy total of 578 marks. From the Commerce stream Renisha Viola DSouza has secured an impressive 593 marks and a gratifying Centum in Accountancy, Statistics & Basic Maths. She is also the recipient of the 5^th Rank at the State Level. The topper from the Arts stream is SamhitaPrabhuwho has got an outstanding total of 575 marks and scored hundred percent in Political Science. The overall pass percentage of 98 is also a remarkable one. We have an outstanding 222 Distinctions, 339 First Classes and 67 students have scored Centum in various subjects.

The Management, Principal SrNorineDSouza, Vice Principal Sr Janet Sequiera& the faculty congratulate the students for acing the exam and bringing laurels to the institution with their laudable academic accomplishment.

Mangalore : Milagres Super Cup 2023, 5-A-Side, football tournament was held on April 23rd, 2023 at Jeppu Seminary Grounds. The tournament was organized by Our Lady of Miracles Church in association with Goal Academy Foundation and Gonzaga Football Club. The tournament saw 20 teams from across the region compete.

It was a huge success supported by youth from ICYM. All the teams played with great enthusiasm and sportsmanship, making it a memorable event for everyone involved.

The main sponsor for the event was Mr John Errol Samuel, Proprietor of Aquamater Laboratory. The organizers express their gratitude to all the participants and congratulates the winners.

The winners are Cordel Parish youth with Jeshsay scoring the winning goal and the runners-up Bejai Parish youth.

The tournament was organized under the guidance of Fr Bonaventure Nazareth – Parish priest, Fr Michael Santhamayor, Fr Uday Fernandes, Fr Kenneth Crasta and Fr Ivan D’Souza.

ಭಾರತೀಯ ರೆಡ್ ಕ್ರಾಸ್ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆ ಮತ್ತು ಜನತಾ ಫಿಶ್ ಮಿಲ್ ಫೇಕ್ಟರಿ ಇವರ ಸಹಯೋಗದೊಂದಿಗೆ ಬ್ರಹತತ ರಕ್ತ ದಾನ ಶಿಬಿರವನ್ನು ಪಡುಕೆರೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಆಯೋಜಿಸಲಾಯಿತು. ಇದರ ಉದ್ಘಾಟನೆಯನ್ನು ರೆಡ್ ಕ್ರಾಸ್ ಸಭಾಪತಿ ಶ್ರೀ ಎಸ್ ಜಯಕರ ಶೆಟ್ಟಿ ನೆರವೇರಿಸಿದರು ಮತ್ತು ರಕ್ತ ದಾನದ ಮಹತ್ವ ವನ್ನು ಹೇಳಿದರು. ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದಲ್ಲಿ ಖಜಾಂಚಿ ಶಿವರಾಮ ಶೆಟ್ಟಿ, ಯುವ ರೆಡ್ ಕ್ರಾಸ್ ಸಂಯೋಜಕ ಸತ್ಯನಾರಾಯಣ ಪುರಾಣಿಕ ಮತ್ತು ರೆಡ್ ಕ್ರಾಸ್ ಸಿಭಂದಿಗಳು ಉಪಸ್ಥಿತರಿದ್ದರು. 102 ಯುನಿಟ್ ರಕ್ತ ವನ್ನು ಸಂಗ್ರಹಿಸಲಾಯಿತು.

‘ಸಂಭ್ರಮ’ ಸಭಾಂಗಣದಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆದಕಿರು ಸನ್ಮಾನ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದಲ್ಲಿ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಗೆ ಸೇವೆ ಸಲ್ಲಿಸಿದ ನಿರ್ದೇಶಕರು, ಹಿತಚಿಂತಕರು, ದಾನಿಗಳು ಹಾಗೂ ಹಿತೈಷಿಗಳನ್ನು ಸನ್ಮಾನಿಸಲಾಯಿತು. ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಹಿತ ಚಿಂತಕರಿಗೆ ಕೃತಜ್ಞತೆಯ ಸಂಕೇತವಾಗಿ ಸಚಿತ ಅಂತೋನಿಯವರ ಪ್ರತಿಮೆಯನ್ನು ಕಾಣಿಕೆ ನೀಡಲಾಯಿತು.
ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದ ಆಧ್ಯಕ್ಷರಾಗಿ ಅತೀ ವಂದನೀಯ ಮ್ಯಾಕ್ಸಿಮ್‍ಎಲ್ ನೊರೊನ್ಹಾ ಮತ್ತು ಮುಖ್ಯ ಅತಿಥಿಯಾಗಿ ಶ್ರೀ ಮಾರ್ಸೆಲ್ ಮೊಂತೇರೊ ಅವರು ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಯ ನಿರ್ದೇಶಕರುಗಳೊಂದಿಗೆ ವೇದಿಕೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಉಪಸ್ಥಿತರಿದ್ದರು.

ಹಿತಚಿಂತಕರನ್ನು ಸ್ಮರಿಸುವ ಮತ್ತು ದೇವರಿಗೆಕೃತಜ್ಞತೆ ಸಲ್ಲಿಸುವ ಈ ದಿನವನ್ನು ಆಚರಿಸುವ ಈ ಹೊಸ ಉಪಕ್ರಮವು ಸಚಿತ ಅಂತೋನಿ ಆಶ್ರಮದಲ್ಲಿ ಇದೇ ಮೊದಲನೆಯದು. “ನಿರ್ದೇಶಕರು ಮತ್ತು ಸಹಾಯಕರ ಚಿಂತನಶೀಲತೆಗೆ ನಾನು ಧನ್ಯವಾದಿಸುತ್ತೇನೆ ಮತ್ತು ಪ್ರಶಂಸಿಸುತ್ತೇನೆ” ಎಚಿದು ಶ್ರೇಷ್ಠಗುರು ಮ್ಯಾಕ್ಸಿಮ್ ಹೇಳಿದರು.
ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಯ ಮರು ವಿನ್ಯಾಸಗೊಳಿಸಲಾದ ವೆಬ್‍ಸೈಟ್‍ಅನ್ನುಇದೇ ಸಂದರ್ಭದಲ್ಲಿ ಶ್ರೇಷ್ಠಗುರು ಮ್ಯಾಕ್ಸಿಮ್ ನೊರೊನ್ಹಾ ಅವರು ಮರು ಪ್ರಕಟಿಸಿದರು.
ನಿಸರ್ಗ ಪ್ರೇಮಿಯಾಗಿದ್ದ ಪಾದುವ ಸಂತ ಅಂತೋನಿಯವರ ಸವಿನೆನಪಿಗೆ ಸಚಿತ ಅಂತೋನಿ ಚಾರಿಟಿ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಯಗಣ್ಯರು, ಹಿತೈಷಿಗಳು ಹಾಗೂ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳಿಂದ 10 ಫಲ ನೀಡುವ ಗಿಡಗಳನ್ನು ನೆಡಲಾಯಿತು.
ಫಾದರ್ ಲ್ಯಾರಿ ಪಿಂಟೋಅವರು ಚಟುವಟಿಕೆಗಳ ಸಂಕ್ಷಿಪ್ತ ವರದಿಯನ್ನು ದಾಖಲಿಸಿದರು ಮತ್ತು ಆಶ್ರಮ ಮತ್ತು ಅದರ ನಿವಾಸಿಗಳ ಕೆಲವು ಅವಶ್ಯಕತೆಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ಅಗತ್ಯಗಳನ್ನು ಪಟ್ಟಿ ಮಾಡಿದರು.
ಫಾದರ್ ಜೆ ಬಿ ಕ್ರಾಸ್ತಾ ಸ್ವಾಗತಿಸಿ, ಫಾದರ್ ರೂಪೇಶ್ ತಾವ್ರೊ ವಂದಿಸಿದರು. ಫಾದರ್ ತ್ರಿಶಾನ್ ಡಿಸೋಜಾ ಭೋಜನದ ಪ್ರಾರ್ಥನೆ ಮಾಡಿದರು.
ಶ್ರೀ ಸೈಮನ್ ಪಾಯ್ಸ್, ಬಜಾಲ್ ಮತ್ತು ತಂಡದಿಂದ ಬಲಿಪೂಜೆಯ ಗಾಯನವನ್ನು ಹಾಡಿ ಸಹಕರಿಸಿತು.

NSS Unit of Father Muller Homoeopathic Medical College in association with Chair in Christianity of Mangalore University organized a lecture on “Sustainable Waste management” on 21^stApril 2023 at the College Auditorium.

Mr. Jeeth Milan Roche, Social Entrepreneur and Environmentalist spoke to the NSS volunteers and students of the institute on managing various types of waste. He conscientised the participants on responsible managing four kinds of waste: wet waste, dry waste, e-waste and hazardous waste. He further noted, “No doubt, we have got good education but we should get good air, good water and good air.” Mr Jeeth interacted and enlightened the students, with his experience in the field and called everyone to practice waste management and then educate it to others. He responded to the questions raised by the students and created ecological awareness in their minds.

Rev. Dr Ivan Souza, Head of Chair in Christianity welcomed and introduced the speaker Mr. Jeeth Milan Roche. Dr. ESJ Prabhu Kiran, the principal of the college welcomed Mr Jeeth with a floral bouquet and Rev. Fr RoshanCrasta, the director of the Homeopathic institute felicitated him for his achievement.Dr NishalPreemal compered the program. It was well organised by NSS unit of the college under the leadership of Dr DeerajFernandes.Around 350 students of the college were part of the program.

ಮೂಡ್ಲಕಟ್ಟೆ ಐಎಂಜೆ ವಿದ್ಯಾಸಂಸ್ಥೆಗಳ ಆಶ್ರಯದಲ್ಲಿ ದೆಹಲಿ ಐಐಟಿಯ ಪೂರ್ವ ಪ್ರಾಧ್ಯಾಪಕರಾದ ಹಾಗೂ ಸ್ಪಿಕ್‍ಮಕೆ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಯು ಸ್ಥಾಪಕರಾದ ಪದ್ಮಶ್ರೀ ಡಾ. ಕಿರಣ್ ಸೇತ್‍ರವರೊಂದಿಗೆ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ಸಂವಾದ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮವನ್ನು ಏರ್ಪಡಿಸಲಾಗಿತ್ತು. ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದಲ್ಲಿ ಮಾತನಾಡುತ್ತಾ ಶ್ರೀಯುತರು ಮನಸ್ಸನ್ನು ಬೇಕಾದಕಡೆ ಕೇಂದ್ರಿಕರಿಸುವುದು ಹೇಗೆಂದು ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳಿಗೆ ತಿಳಿಸಿದರು. ಈ ದಿಸೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಯೋಗ ಹಾಗೂ ಶಾಸ್ತ್ರೀಯ ಸಂಗೀತದ ಮಹತ್ವವನ್ನು ಅವರು ಯಾವ ತರಬೇತಿ ಇಲ್ಲದೇ ಐಐಟಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರಥಮ ರ್ಯಾಂಕ್ ಪಡೆದ ಗ್ರಾಮೀಣ ಪ್ರದೇಶದ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಯ ಉದಾಹರಣೆಯನ್ನು ನೀಡಿ ಮನದಟ್ಟು ಮಾಡಿದರು.
ಮನಸ್ಸು ಹುಚ್ಚು ಮಂಗನ ಹಾಗೆ ಅತ್ಯಂತ ಬಹಳ ಆದರೆ ಮಂಗನನ್ನು ಹತೋಟಿಗೆ ತಂದು ಹೇಗೆ ಕುಣಿಯಲು ಕಲಿಸಬಹುದೋ ಹಾಗೆಯೇ ಮನಸ್ಸನ್ನು ಹತೋಟಿಯಲ್ಲಿಟ್ಟು ಸಾಧಿಸಬೇಕಾದದನ್ನು ಸಾಧಿಸಬಹುದು, ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ನಮ್ಮ ಯೋಗ ಮತ್ತು ಶಾಸ್ತ್ರೀಯ ಸಂಗೀತ ಮುಂತಾದವುಗಳು ಅತ್ಯಂತ ಸಹಾಯಕಾರಿ ಎಂದರು. ಐನ್‍ಸ್ಟಿನ್‍ನಿಂದ ಹಿಡಿದು ಡಾ. ಅಬ್ದುಲ್‍ಕಲಾಂರವರೆಗೆ ಬಹಳಷ್ಟು ಮಹಾಸಾಧಕರು ಸಂಗೀತ ಕಲಾವಿದರೂ ಕೂಡಾ ಆಗಿದ್ದರು ಎಂದು ತಿಳಿಸಿದರು. ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ಹೆಚ್ಚಿನ ಸಂಖ್ಯೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಯೋಗ, ಸಂಗೀತ ಮುಂತಾದವನ್ನು ಕಲಿತು ಸರ್ವತೋಮುಖ ಅಭಿವೃದ್ಧಿ ಪಡೆಯಲೆಂದು ಆಶಿಸಿದರು.

ಪ್ರಾರಂಭದಲ್ಲಿ ಡಾ. ರಾಮಕೃಷ್ಣ ಹೆಗ್ಡೆಯವರು ಸ್ವಾಗತ ಕೋರಿದರು, ಶ್ರೀ ರಾಕೇಶ್ ಎಸ್. ಸೋನ್ಸ್‍ರವರು, ಡಾ. ಕಿರಣ್ ಸೇತ್‍ರವರನ್ನು ಪರಿಚಯಿಸಿದರು. ಐಎಂಜೆಐಎಸ್‍ಸಿ ಪ್ರಾಂಶುಪಾಲೆ ಡಾ. ಪ್ರತಿಭಾ ಎಂ. ಪಟೇಲ್‍ರವರು ವಂದನಾರ್ಪಣೆ ಗೈದರು, ಡೀನ್ ಟಿ.ಪಿ.ಐ.ಆರ್. ಶ್ರೀಮತಿ ಅಮ್ರತಮಾಲಾರವರು ನಿರೂಪಿಸಿದರು ಹಾಗೂ ಎಂಐಟಿಕೆಯ ಉಪಪ್ರಾಂಶುಪಾಲ ಪ್ರೊ ಮೆಲ್ವಿನ್ ಡಿಸೋಜರವರು ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮ ನಿರ್ವಹಿಸಿದರು.

Mangalore 21 April 2023: The Congregation of the Sisters of the Little Flower of Bethany, Mangalore celebrated the perpetual profession of 08 Sisters on 21^st April 2023 at Rosa Mystica Convent, Kinnikambla. The Eucharistic celebration was at 9.30 am, officiated by Most Rev Dr Peter Paul Saldanha and 6 priests concelebrated.

In his homily Bishop explained in brief the sacrifices that a religious is called upon to make as consecrated person and live the vow of chastity, poverty and obedience. Religious profession is an act of final submission of one’s will, possession and love. We are called to embrace the world with the love of Christ.

Sr Rose Celine BS the Superior General of the Congregation received the vows and accepted them as perpetual members of Bethany family. She congratulated the parents of the Sisters and thanked them profusely for offering their daughters in the service of the Lord through Bethany. She invited everyone to be an evangelical witness and continue the mission of Jesus.

She also thanked God for the gifts of 19 tertians who belong to 13 dioceses in India who underwent intense preparation for their final vows.

Sr Cicilia Mendonca the provincial of Mangalore Province welcomed the gathered members for the felicitation programme. Sr Sharon Preethi compered the programme. The family members of the newly perpetual professed, relatives and a large number of sisters participated in this sacred and joyful event. 

The perpetually sisters were greeted in the presence of their parents and relatives. Superior General thanked their parents for their gift to Bethany. These sisters are belonging to different provinces.
