ಭಾರತೀಯ ರೆಡ್ ಕ್ರಾಸ್ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆ ಕುಂದಾಪುರ ಘಟಕ ದಿಂದ ಮೂಡ್ಲಕಟ್ಟೆ ತಾಂತ್ರಕ ವಿದ್ಯಾಲಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಯುವ ರೆಡ್ ಕ್ರಾಸ್ ಘಟಕ ಉದ್ಘಾಟನೆ ಹಾಗೂ ಪ್ರಥಮ ಚಿಕಿತ್ಸಾ ಶಿಭಿರವನ್ನು ಆಯೋಜಿಸಲಾಯಿತು. ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷತೆಯನ್ನು IMJISC ಪ್ರಾಂಶುಪಾಲರಾದ ಪ್ರತಿಭಾ ಪಾಟಿಲ್ ಎಮ್ ಇವರು ವಹಿಸಿದ್ದರು. ರೆಡ್ ಕ್ರಾಸ್ ಸಭಾಪತಿ ಶ್ರೀ ಎಸ್ ಜಯಕರ ಶೆಟ್ಟಿ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮ ವನ್ನು ಉದ್ಘಾಟಿಸಿದರು ಮತ್ತು ಪ್ರಾಸ್ತಾವಿಕ ಮಾತನಾಡಿದರು. ಯುವ ರೆಡ್ ಕ್ರಾಸ್ ಸಂಯೋಜಕ ಶ್ರೀ ಸತ್ಯನಾರಾಯಣ ಪುರಾಣಿಕ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿ ಗಳಿಗೆ ಪ್ರತಿಜ್ನಾ ವಿಧಿ ಬೋಧಿಸಿದರು. ಸಂಪನ್ಮೂಲ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಿ ಡಾ. ಸೋನಿ ಡಿಕೊಸ್ಟಾ ಪ್ರಥಮ ಚಿಕಿತ್ಸಾ ತರಬೇತಿ ನೀಡಿದರು. ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮ ದಲ್ಲಿ ರೆಡ್ ಕ್ರಾಸ್ ಖಜಾಂಚಿ ಶಿವರಾಮ ಶೆಟ್ಟಿ, ಮತ್ತು IMJISC ಪ್ರೊಫೆಸರ್ ಶಬೀನಾ ಎಚ್. ಉಪಸ್ಥಿತರಿದ್ದರು.

Youth Red Cross wing of IMJ Institute of Science and Commerce was inaugurated by Sri Jayakar shetty President of Indian Red Cross Kundapura. Speaking on the occasion he told that every college should have youth red cross wing and objective of the society is to serve the people on humanitarian grounds irrespective of caste, creed and religion.

The coordinator of Youth Red Cross Society, Kundapur, Sri Satyanarayan Puranik facilitated the oath  taking by the students and the trainer Dr. Soni D’Costa conducted a workshop on  first aid. Principal IMJISC, Dr. Prathibha M Patel in her presidential speech opined if the students incorporate the values of Red Cross in their life, they can contribute immensely to the society.

Sri Shivaram Shetty treasurer Red cross Kundapura, Staff and students were present on the occasion Prof. Shabeena H, coordinator of the college youth red cross society wing welcomed the gathering. Miss Prathibha proposed vote of thanks. Miss Nethravathi was the master of ceremony.

Temporary Profession of four Novices of Rosa Mystica Novitiate, Kinnikambla took place on the  18 of  April 2023.  The Eucharistic celebration was officiated by Fr Daniel Veigas OP, the Episcopal Vicar for Religious of Mangalore Diocese, along with ten other Priest. Sr CiciliaMendonca the Provincial Superior of Mangalore Province accepted the Vows of Sr Amitha D’Souza, Sr Devi Priya. Sr SukanayaKonda and Sr Tima Das in the name of Church for the congregation of the Sisters of the Little Flower of Bethany. Sr JudyVarghese the Provincial Superior of Southern Province was present. The Parents of the Novices  who were hailing from Mangalore, Kerala and Andra Pradesh were present  to witness the great event of Religious consecration of their daughters. A short programme was organized  after the Mass to felicitate the Newly Professed Sisters,. They gratefully acknowledged the loving accompaniment of  Sr Rose Celine the Superior General of the Congregation, the Provincial Superiors of Mangalore and Southern Provinces, Formators, Sisters and their Parents  during the past years their formation.

ಮೂಡ್ಲಕಟ್ಟೆ ತಾಂತ್ರಿಕ ಮಹಾವಿದ್ಯಾಲಯ, ಕುಂದಾಪುರ ಇಲ್ಲಿಯ ಎಲೆಕ್ಟ್ರಾನಿಕ್ಸ್ & ಕಮ್ಯೂನಿಕೇಷನ್ ವಿಭಾಗದ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳಾದ ಅಮರ್ ಮತ್ತು ವಿಷ್ಣುಮೂರ್ತಿಯವರು ತಮಿಳುನಾಡಿನ ರಾಮಪುರದ ಎಸ್.ಆರ್.ಎಮ್. ವಿಶ್ವವಿದ್ಯಾಲಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಆಯೋಜಿಸಿದ ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರಮಟ್ಟದ “ಪ್ರಾಜೆಕ್ಟ್ ಕಲ್ಪನಾ ಪ್ರಸ್ತುತಿ” ಸ್ಫರ್ಧೆಯಲ್ಲಿ “ಸ್ವಯಂಚಾಲಿತ ಘನತ್ಯಾಜ್ಯ ಸಂಸ್ಕರಣೆ” ಎಂಬ ಪ್ರಾಜೆಕ್ಟ್‍ಗೆ “ಭವಿಷ್ಯದ ತಂತ್ರಜ್ಞಾನ ಪ್ರಶಸ್ತಿ”ಯನ್ನು ಪಡೆದು ಕಾಲೇಜಿನ ಹಿರಿಮೆ ಹೆಚ್ಚಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಒಂದು ಸಾವಿರಕ್ಕೂ ಅಧಿಕ ತಂಡಗಳು ಭಾಗವಹಿಸಿದ ಈ ಸ್ಫರ್ಧೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ದೇಶದ 50 ತಂಡಗಳು ಮಾತ್ರ ಅಂತಿಮ ಸುತ್ತಿಗೆ ತೇರ್ಗಡೆ ಹೊಂದಿದ್ದು, ಅದರಲ್ಲಿ ಕರ್ನಾಟಕದಿಂದ ಎರಡು ತಂಡಗಳಿಗೆ ಮಾತ್ರ ಅವಕಾಶ ಸಿಕ್ಕಿತ್ತು. ಈ ಎರಡು ತಂಡಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಮೂಡ್ಲಕಟ್ಟೆ ತಂಡವು ಒಂದಾಗಿದ್ದು, ಫೈನಲ್ ಸ್ಫರ್ಧೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಎಂ.ಐ.ಟಿ.ಯ ತಂಡವು ಪ್ರಶಸ್ತಿಯನ್ನು ಪಡೆಯುವಲ್ಲಿ ಯಶ್ವಸಿಯಾಯಿತು. ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳ ತಂಡಕ್ಕೆ ಕಾಲೇಜಿನ ಪ್ರಾಂಶುಪಾಲರಾದ ಡಾ. ಅಬ್ದುಲ್ ಕರೀಂ ಅವರು ಮಾರ್ಗದರ್ಶನ ನೀಡಿದ್ದು, ಪ್ರಾಧ್ಯಾಪಕರಾದ ಅಕ್ಷತಾ ನಾಯಕ್ ಮತ್ತು ವರುಣ ಕುಮಾರ್‍ರವರು ಸಹಾಯ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದರು. ವಿಜೇತ ತಂಡವು ಕುಂದಾಪುರದ ಪುರಸಭೆಯ ಘನತ್ಯಾಜ್ಯ ವಿಲೇವಾರಿ ಸಂಬಂಧಪಟ್ಟ ಯೋಜನೆ ಕೂಡ ತಯಾರಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದು, ಹಲವರ ಮೆಚ್ಚುಗೆಗೆ ಕಾರಣವಾಗಿದೆ. ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳ ಸಾಧನೆಗೆ, ಆಡಳಿತ ಮಂಡಳಿ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷ ಸಿದ್ಧಾರ್ಥ್ ಜೆ. ಶೆಟ್ಟಿ, ಪ್ರಾಶುಂಪಾಲರಾದ ಡಾ. ಅಬ್ದುಲ್ ಕರೀಂ, ಉಪ ಪ್ರಾಂಶುಪಾಲ ಪ್ರೊ. ಮೆಲ್ವಿನ್ ಡಿಸೋಜ, ವಿಭಾಗದ ಮುಖ್ಯಸ್ಥ ಪ್ರೊ. ಬಾಲನಾಗೇಶ್ವರ್ ಮತ್ತು ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಸಿಬ್ಬಂದಿ ವರ್ಗದವರು ಶುಭ ಹಾರೈಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ.

ಪಕ್ಷಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಬಿಸಿಲಿನ ತಾಪದಿಂದ ಹಾಗೂ ನೀರಿನ ದಾಹ ನೀಗಿಸುವ ಉದ್ದೇಶದಿಂದ ಪಕ್ಷಿ ಸಂಕುಲಕ್ಕೆ ನೀರು ಉಣಿಸುವ ಅಭಿಯಾನದ ಮೂಲಕ ನಾವೆಲ್ಲರೂ ಸ್ವಯಂ ಪ್ರೇರಣೆಯಿಂದ ಮನೆ, ಮರಗಳ ಮೇಲೆ ಪಕ್ಷಿಗಳಿಗಾಗಿ ನೀರು, ಧಾನ್ಯಗಳನ್ನು ಇಟ್ಟು ಪಕ್ಷಿ ಸಂಕುಲದ ರಕ್ಷಣೆಗೆ ಕೈ ಜೋಡಿಸೋಣ ಎಂದು ನಂದಳಿಕೆ ಅಬ್ಬನಡ್ಕ ಶ್ರೀ ದುರ್ಗಾಪರಮೇಶ್ವರೀ ಫ್ರೆಂಡ್ಸ್ ಕ್ಲಬ್‍ನ ಸಂಚಾಲಕರು ಸಂದೀಪ್ ವಿ. ಪೂಜಾರಿ ಅಬ್ಬನಡ್ಕ ಹೇಳಿದರು.
ಭಾರತ ಸರಕಾರದ ಯುವ ಕಾರ್ಯ ಹಾಗೂ ಕ್ರೀಡಾ ಸಚಿವಾಲಯ, ನೆಹರು ಯುವ ಕೇಂದ್ರ ಉಡುಪಿ, ನಂದಳಿಕೆ ಅಬ್ಬನಡ್ಕ ಶ್ರೀ ದುರ್ಗಾಪರಮೇಶ್ವರೀ ಫ್ರೆಂಡ್ಸ್ ಕ್ಲಬ್ ಮತ್ತು ಜೇಸಿಐ ಬೆಳ್ಮಣ್ಣು ವತಿಯಿಂದ ಅಬ್ಬನಡ್ಕದ ಕುಂಟಲಗುಂಡಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಹಲವಾರು ಗಿಡ ಮರಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಪಕ್ಷಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಉರಿ ಬಿಸಿಲ ಸೆಕೆಯ ದಾಹ ತಣಿಸಲು ಹಕ್ಕಿಗಳಿಗೆ ನೀರಿಡುವ ವ್ಯವಸ್ಥೆಗಳನ್ನು ಮಾಡಲಾಯಿತು.
ಈ ಸಂದರ್ಭದಲ್ಲಿ ಬೆಳ್ಮಣ್ಣು ಜೇಸಿಐ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷ ಸತೀಶ್ ಪೂಜಾರಿ ಅಬ್ಬನಡ್ಕ, ನಂದಳಿಕೆ ಅಬ್ಬನಡ್ಕ ಶ್ರೀ ದುರ್ಗಾಪರಮೇಶ್ವರೀ ಫ್ರೆಂಡ್ಸ್ ಕ್ಲಬ್ ಸಂಘದ ಅಭಿವೃದ್ಧಿ ಸಮಿತಿಯ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷ ದಿನೇಶ್ ಪೂಜಾರಿ ಬೀರೊಟ್ಟು, ಪೂರ್ವಾಧ್ಯಕ್ಷರಾದ ಸುರೇಶ್ ಕಾಸ್ರಬೈಲು, ರಾಜೇಶ್ ಕೋಟ್ಯಾನ್, ಉದಯ ಅಂಚನ್, ಉಪಾಧ್ಯಕ್ಷೆ ಲೀಲಾ ಪೂಜಾರಿ, ಜೊತೆ ಕಾರ್ಯದರ್ಶಿ ಸುದರ್ಶನ್ ಕುಂದರ್, ಮಹಿಳಾ ಸಂಘಟನಾ ಕಾರ್ಯದರ್ಶಿ ಪದ್ಮಶ್ರೀ ಪೂಜಾರಿ, ಸದಸ್ಯರಾದ ಮಂಜುನಾಥ ಆಚಾರ್ಯ, ಸುರೇಶ್ ಅಬ್ಬನಡ್ಕ, ಸಂಧ್ಯಾ ಶೆಟ್ಟಿ, ಆರತಿ ಕುಮಾರಿ, ಕೀರ್ತನ್ ಕುಮಾರ್, ಹರೀಶ್ ಪೂಜಾರಿ, ಸುಲೋಚನಾ ಕೋಟ್ಯಾನ್, ಪುಷ್ಪ ಕುಲಾಲ್, ವೀಣಾ ಪೂಜಾರಿ, ಯಶವಂತ್ ಕುಲಾಲ್ ಮೊದಲಾದವರಿದ್ದರು.

ಕಳೆದ ಸುಮಾರು ನಾಲ್ಕು ದಶಕಗಳಿಂದ ಟ್ಯಾಕ್ಸಿ,ರಿಕ್ಷಾ ಚಾಲಕರಾಗಿ ಸೇವೆ ಸಲ್ಲಿಸುತ್ತಿರುವ ಹೆಮ್ಮಾಡಿ ಸಂತೋಷ್ ನಗರದ ನಿವಾಸಿ ಕೆ.ಸಾದಿಕ್ ಹೆಮ್ಮಾಡಿ ಅವರನ್ನು ಸಮಾಜ ಮುಖಿಯಾಗಿ ಸಲ್ಲಿಸಿದ ಸೇವೆಯನ್ನು ಪರಿಗಣಿಸಿ ಜಿಲ್ಲಾ ಟ್ಯಾಕ್ಸಿ ಮೆನ್ ಹಾಗೂ ಮಾಕ್ಸಿ ಕ್ಯಾಬ್ ಅಸೋಸಿಯೇಷನ್ ಇದರ ಆಶ್ರಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷರಾದ ರಘುಪತಿ ಭಟ್ ಇತ್ತೀಚೆಗೆ ಉಡುಪಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆದ ಸಂಘದ ವಾರ್ಷಿಕ ಸಮಾರಂಭದ ವೇದಿಕೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಸನ್ಮಾನಿಸಿದರು.
