ಕೋಲಾರ, ಮಾ,9: ಮಹಿಳಾ ದಿನಾಚರಣೆಯಂದು ಮಹಿಳೆಯರಿಗೆ ಗೌರವ ಕೊಡಬೇಕಾದ ಜವಬ್ದಾರಿ ಸ್ಥಾನದಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಸಂಸದರು ಕುಂಕುಮ ವಿಚಾರದಲ್ಲಿ ಸಾರ್ವಜನಿಕವಾಗಿ ಗಂಡ ಬದುಕಿದ್ದಾನಾ? ಕಾಮನ್‍ಸೆನ್ಸ್ ಇಲ್ಲ ಹಣಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಮತಾಂತರ ಮಾಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತೀರಾ ಎಂದು ಸಾರ್ವಜನಿಕರವಾಗಿ ಅವಮಾನ ಮಾಡಿರುವುದನ್ನು ರೈತ ಸಂಘದ ಮಹಿಳಾ ಜಿಲ್ಲಾದ್ಯಕ್ಷೆ ಎ.ನಳಿನಿಗೌಡ ಸಂಸದರ ಹೇಳಿಕೆಯನ್ನು ಪತ್ರಿಕಾ ಹೇಳಿಕೆ ಮುಖಾಂತರ ಸಂಸದರ ನಡೆ ಮಹಿಳಾ ವಿರೋದಿ ನಡೆಯಾಗಿದೆ ಎಂದು ಖಂಡಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ.

ದೇಶಾದ್ಯಾಂತ ಪ್ರತಿದಿನ ಎರಡು ವರ್ಷದ ಮಗುವಿನಿಂದ ನೂರು ವರ್ಷದ ಮುದುಕಿಯವರೆಗೆ ಅತ್ಯಾಚಾರ ದೌರ್ಜನ್ಯ ಕೊಲೆ ಒಂದಲ್ಲ ಒಂದು ದೌರ್ಜನ್ಯ ನಡೆಯುತ್ತಿದ್ದರೂ ಅದನ್ನು ಸರಿಪಡಿಸದ ಸರ್ಕಾರಗಳ ವಿರುದ್ದ ದ್ವನಿ ಎತ್ತಿ  ನೊಂದ ಮಹಿಳೆಯರ ಪರ ನಿಲ್ಲಬೇಕಾದ ಸಂಸದರು ರಂಗಮಂದಿರದಲ್ಲಿ ಮಹಿಳಾ ದಿನಾಚರಣೆಯ ದಿನದಂದೇ ಹಣೆಗೆ ಕುಂಕಮ ಇಡದ ಮಹಿಳೆಗೆ ಗಂಡ ಬದುಕಿದ್ದಾನಾ? ಹಾಗಾದರೆ ಹಣೆಗೆ ಕುಂಕುಮ ಯಾಕೆ ಇಟ್ಟಿಲ್ಲ ಹಣಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಮತಾಂತರ ಆಗಿದ್ದೀಯಾ ಎಂದು ಪ್ರಶ್ನೆ ಮಾಡುವ ಮೂಲಕ ಮಹಿಳೆಯ ಮೇಲೆ ತಮ್ಮ ಪ್ರತಾಪ ತೋರಿಸುವ ಸಂಸದರು ನಿಮ್ಮ ಕಣ್ಣಿಗೆ ಆ ಹೆಣ್ಣುಮಗುವಿನ ಕುಂಕುಮ ಕಾಣಿಸಿಲ್ಲ ಎಂದರೆ ಮಹಿಳೆಯರಿಗೆ ಹೇಳಿ ಇಂದು ಮಹಿಳಾ ದಿನಾಚರಣೆ ಮಹಿಳೆಯರಿಗೆ ಹಿಂದೂ ಸಂಪ್ರದಾಯದ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ಹಣೆಗೆ ಕುಂಕುಮ ಲಕ್ಷಣ  ಅದನ್ನು ಸರಿಪಡಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವಂತೆ ಹೇಳಬಹುದಾಗಿತ್ತು, ಸಾರ್ವಜನಿಕವಾಗಿ ಮಹಿಳೆಗೆ ಈ ರೀತಿಯಾಗಿ ಕುಂಕುಮ ಇಟ್ಟಿಲ್ಲ, ಗಂಡ ಬದುಕಿದ್ದಾನಾ ? ಕಾಮನ್ ಸೆನ್ಸ್ ಇಲ್ವಾ  ಎಂದು  ಸಾರ್ವಜನಿಕವಾಗಿ ಮಾತನಾಡಿರುವುದನ್ನು ಖಂಡಿಸುವ ಜೊತೆಗೆ ಆ ಮಹಿಳೆಯನ್ನು ಸಂಸದರು ಬಹಿರಂಗವಾಗಿ ಕ್ಷಮಾಪಣೆ ಕೋರಬೇಕು ಇಲ್ಲವಾದರೆ ಸಂಸದರ ಸ್ಥಾನಕ್ಕೆ ರಾಜೀನಾಮೆ ನೀಡಬೇಕೆಂದು  ಪತ್ರಿಕಾ ಹೇಳಿಕೆಯ ಮುಖಾಂತರ ಜವಬ್ದಾರಿ ಸ್ಥಾನದಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಸಂಸದರಾದ ಮುನಿಸ್ವಾಮಿರವರನ್ನು ಅಗ್ರಹಿಸಿದರು.

ಶ್ರೀನಿವಾಸಪುರ: ಇಲ್ಲಿ ಮಾ.12 ರಂದು ಸಂಜೆ 4.30 ಗಂಟೆಯಿಂದ 7 ಗಂಟೆ ವರೆಗೆ ಲೋಕಕಲ್ಯಾಣಾರ್ಥ ಶ್ರೀನಿವಾಸ ಕಲ್ಯಾಣೋತ್ಸವ ಏರ್ಪಡಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ ಎಂದು ಎಪಿಎಂಸಿ ಮಾಜಿ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷ ರಾಜೇಂದ್ರ ಪ್ರಸಾದ್ ಹೇಳಿದರು.
ಪಟ್ಟಣದ ಪ್ರವಾಸಿ ಮಂದಿರದಲ್ಲಿ ಗುರುವಾರ ಏರ್ಪಡಿಸಿದ್ದ ಪತ್ರಿಕಾಗೋಷ್ಠಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಮಾತನಾಡಿದ ಅವರು, ಮಾ.11 ರಂದು ಬೆಳಿಗ್ಗೆ 11 ಗಂಟೆಗೆ ಪಟ್ಟಣದ ರಥಬೀದಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಉತ್ಸವ ಮೂರ್ತಿಗಳ ಮೆರವಣಿಗೆ ಏರ್ಪಡಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ. ಮೆರವಣಿಗೆ ಬಳಿಕ ವಿವಿಧ ಧಾರ್ಮಿಕ ಕಾರ್ಯಗಳು ಮುಗಿದ ಬಳಿಕ, ಕನಕ ಮಂದಿರದ ಸಮೀಪ ನಿರ್ಮಿಸಲಾಗಿರುವ ವೇದಿಕೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ವಾದ್ಯಗೋಷ್ಠಿ ಏರ್ಪಡಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದರು.
ಮಾ.12 ರಂದು ಶ್ರೀನಿವಾಸ ಕಲ್ಯಾಣೋತ್ಸವ ಮುಗಿದ ಬಳಿಕ, ಉತ್ಸವದಲ್ಲಿ ಭಾಗವಹಿಸುವ ಎಲ್ಲರಿಗೂ ತಿರುಪತಿಯಿಂದ ತರಿಸಲಾಗುವ ಲಾಡು ವಿತರಣೆ ಮಾಡಲಾಗುವುದು. ಸಂಜೆ ರಸ ಸಂಜೆ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮ ಏರ್ಪಡಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದರು.
ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದಲ್ಲಿ ಸಮಾಜದ ಎಲ್ಲ ವರ್ಗದ ಜನರೂ ಭಾಗವಹಿಸಿ ದೇವರ ಕೃಪೆಗೆ ಪಾತ್ರರಾಗಬೇಕು ಎಂದು ಮನವಿ ಮಾಡಿದರು.
ಜಿಲ್ಲಾ ಪಂಚಾಯಿತಿ ಮಾಜಿ ಸದಸ್ಯ ಕೆ.ರಾಜಶೇಖರರೆಡ್ಡಿ, ಮುಖಂಡರಾದ ಗುಂಜೂರು ಆರ್.ಶ್ರೀನಿವಾಸರೆಡ್ಡಿ, ಶಂಕರೇಗೌಡ, ನಾರಾಯಣರೆಡ್ಡಿ, ಶಿವಣ್ಣ, ಮಂಜುನಾಥ, ಮುನಿರೆಡ್ಡಿ, ಮುಳ್ಳಳ್ಳಿ ಚೌಡರೆಡ್ಡಿ, ರಾಜಣ್ಣ, ಯಲ್ದೂರು ಶಿವಣ್ಣ ಇದ್ದರು.

ಶ್ರೀನಿವಾಸಪುರ: ಪ್ರೇಕ್ಷಕರು ಸಮಾಜ ಮುಖಿ ಚಲನ ಚಿತ್ರಗಳನ್ನು ಬೆಂಬಲಿಸಬೇಕು ಎಂದು ಪ್ರಜಾರಾಜ್ಯ ಚಲನ ಚಿತ್ರದ ನಿರ್ದೇಶಕ ಡಾ. ಡಿ.ಎನ್.ವರದರಾಜು ಹೇಳಿದರು.
ಪಟ್ಟಣದ ಎಸ್‍ವಿ ಪ್ಯಾರಾ ಮೆಡಿಕಲ್ ಸೈನ್ಸ್ ಕಾಲೇಜು ಸಭಾಂಗಣದಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರಜಾರಾಜ್ಯ ಚಲನ ಚಿತ್ರದ ಟ್ರೈಲರ್ ಪ್ರದರ್ಶನದ ಬಳಿಕ ಮಾತನಾಡಿದ ಅವರು, ಪ್ರಜಾಪ್ರಭುತ್ವ, ಸಂವಿಧಾನ ಹಾಗೂ ಮತದಾನದ ಮಹತ್ವ ಸಾರುವ ಈ ಚಿತ್ರ ಬದಲಾವಣೆಯ ವಾಹಕವಾಗಿದ್ದು, ಪ್ರೇಕ್ಷಕರು ವೀಕ್ಷಿಸುವುದರ ಮೂಲಕ ಬೆಂಬಲಿಸಬೇಕು ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದರು.
ಸಮಾಜದ ಕಟ್ಟ ಕಡೆಯ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಿಯೂ ಸರ್ಕಾರಕ್ಕೆ ತೆರಿಗೆ ನೀಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾನೆ. ಆದರೆ ಮೂಲ ಸೌಕರ್ಯದ ಕೊರತೆ ಕಾಡುತ್ತಿದೆ. ಬದಲಾದ ಪರಿಸ್ಥಿತಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ನಿರೀಕ್ಷಿತ ಪ್ರಮಾಣದಲ್ಲಿ ಸರ್ಕಾರಿ ಕೆಲಸ ಸಿಗುತ್ತಿಲ್ಲ. ಆರೋಗ್ಯ ರಕ್ಷಣೆ ದೊರೆಯುತಿಲ್ಲ. ಪ್ರಜಾಪ್ರಭುತ್ವ ವ್ಯವಸ್ಥೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಚುನಾವಣೆ ಹಾಗೂ ಮತದಾನ ವ್ಯವಸ್ಥೆ ಹದಗೆಟ್ಟಿದೆ. ಇಂಥ ಹಲವು ಸಂಗತಿಗಳ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಬೆಳಕು ಚೆಲ್ಲಲು ಚಿತ್ರ ನಿರ್ಮಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದರು.
ವೆಂಕಟೇಶ್ವರ ಗ್ರಾಮೀಣ ಆರೋಗ್ಯ ಶಿಕ್ಷಣ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷ ಡಾ. ವೈ.ವಿ.ವೆಂಕಟಾಚಲ ಮಾತನಾಡಿ, ಚಿತ್ರದ ಆಶಯ ಜನರಿಗೆ ತಲುಪಿಸುವ ಉದ್ದೇಶದಿಂದ, ಪಟ್ಟಣದ ಸಂಗೀತ ಚಿತ್ರ ಮಂದಿರದಲ್ಲಿ ಮಾ.10 ರಿಂದ 12 ರವರೆಗೆ ಪ್ರತಿ ದಿನ ಮಧ್ಯಾಹ್ನ 2 ಗಂಟೆಯಿಂದ 5 ಗಂಟೆ ವರೆಗೆ ಸಾರ್ವಜನಿಕರಿಗೆ ಉಚಿತ ಪ್ರದರ್ಶನ ಏರ್ಪಡಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ. ಜನರು ಈ ಅವಕಾಶ ಬಳಸಿಕೊಂಡು ಚಿತ್ರ ವೀಕ್ಷಿಸಬೇಕು. ಚಿತ್ರದ ಸಂದೇಶ ಸಾರಬೇಕು ಎಂದು ಮನವಿ ಮಾಡಿದರು.

ಶ್ರೀನಿವಾಸಪುರ: ಸಮಾಜದಲ್ಲಿ ಮಹಿಳೆಯರಿಗೆ ವಿಶೇಷ ಗೌರವವಿದೆ. ಆ ಸ್ಥಾನ ಉಳಿಸಿಕೊಂಡಿರುವುದು ಹೆಣ್ಣಿನ ಹೆಗ್ಗಳಿಕೆ ಎಂದು ಪುರಸಭೆ ಉಪಾಧ್ಯಕ್ಷೆ ಆಯಿಷಾ ನಯಾಜ್ ಹೇಳಿದರು.

ಪಟ್ಟಣದ ಪುರಸಭಾ ಕಚೇರಿ ಸಭಾಂಗಣದಲ್ಲಿ ಏರ್ಪಡಿಸಿದ್ದ ವಿಶ್ವ ಮಹಿಳಾ ದಿನಾಚರಣೆ ಸಮಾರಂಭ ಉದ್ಘಾಟಿಸಿ ಮಾತನಾಡಿದ ಅವರು , ಮಹಿಳೆ ಶಕ್ತಿ ಸ್ವರೂಪಿಣಿ , ಪುರುಷರ ಸಾಧನೆ ಹಿಂದೆ ಮಹಿಳೆಯ ಬೆಂಬಲ ಇದ್ದೇ ಇರುತ್ತದೆ. ಅದು ತಾಯಿಯಾಗಿರಬಹುದು ,ಹೆಂಡತಿಯಾಗಿರಬಹುದು ಅಥವಾ ಬೇರೆ ಯಾರಾದರೂ ಆಗಿರಬಹುದು ಎಂದು ಅಭಿಪ್ರಾಯಪಟ್ಟರು. 

ಪುರಸಭೆ ಮುಖ್ಯಾಧಿಕಾರಿ ವೈ.ಎನ್. ಸತ್ಯನಾರಾಯಣ ಮಾತನಾಡಿ , ಪಟ್ಟಣದ ಸ್ವಚ್ಛತೆ ಕಾಪಾಡುವಲ್ಲಿ ಮಹಿಳಾ ಪೌರ ಕಾರ್ಮಿಕರ ಪಾತ್ರ ಹಿರಿದು. ಅವರು ತಮ್ಮ ಆರೋಗ್ಯ ಮರೆತು ಜನರ ಆರೋಗ್ಯ ರಕ್ಷಣೆ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಾರೆ. ಹಾಗಾಗಿ ನಾಗರಿಕರ ಗೌರವಕ್ಕೆ ಪಾತ್ರರಾಗಿದ್ದಾರೆ, ಪೌರ ಕಾರ್ಮಿಕರು ವೈಯಕ್ತಿಕ ಆರೋಗ್ಯ ರಕ್ಷಣೆಗೆ ಆದ್ಯತೆ ನೀಡಬೇಕು. ಕಾರ್ಯ ನಿರ್ವಹಿಸುವಾಗ ಸುರಕ್ಷತಾ ಕ್ರಮ ಅನುಸರಿಸಬೇಕು. ಹೆಣ್ಣು ಮಕ್ಕಳ ವಿದ್ಯಾಭ್ಯಾಸಕ್ಕೆ ಹೆಚ್ಚಿನ ಮಹತ್ವ ನೀಡಬೇಕು. ಗಂಡು, ಹೆಣ್ಣಿನ ನಡುವೆ ಭೇದ ಭಾವ ಮಾಡಬಾರದು ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದರು.

ಸಮಾರಂಭದಲ್ಲಿ ಆಯ್ದ ಪೌರಕಾರ್ಮಿಕರನ್ನು ಸನ್ಮಾನಿಸಲಾಯಿತು. 

ಪುರಸಭೆ ಕಂದಾಯ ನಿರೀಕ್ಷಕ ವಿ.ನಾಗರಾಜ್ , ಆರೋಗ್ಯ ನಿರೀಕ್ಷಕ ಕೆ.ಜಿ.ರಮೇಶ್ , ಸುರೇಶ್ , ಸಂತೋಷ್ , ಜಯಶ್ರೀ , ಪ್ರಸಾದ್ , ಪಾರ್ವತಮ್ಮ , ಸದಸ್ಯರಾದ ಸರ್ದಾರ್ , ನಾಗರಾಜ್ , ಜಯಣ್ಣ , ಷಫಿ , ಫಿರೋಜ್ ಉನ್ನೀಸಾ , ವಹೀದಾ ಬೇಗಂ , ಸುನಿತಾ , ವೇದಾಂತ್ ಶಾಸ್ತ್ರಿ ಇದ್ದರು .

International Women’s Day was celebrated by the Women Guidance & Counseling Committee of Father Muller Homoeopathic Medical College on 08.03.2023. Ms Lakshmi Kunnath, Lecturer, Department of Speech Language Pathology,Father Muller College was the Resource person.

Mrs Veena Pinto Member of Women Guidance & Counselling Committee welcomed the gathering. The event began with a symbolic Inauguration by lighting the lamp.

Rev. Fr Roshan Crasta, Administrator, FMHMC&H greeted all the women staff, in his message highlighted the power and importance of women in daily life, their role in the family as well as in the society. 

DrMadona Joseph proposed the vote of thanks.  The formal programme was concluded with the Institution Anthem.

Later a session on ‘Digit All – innovation and technology for gender equality‘ theme for this year’s International Women’s Day was  conducted  by Ms Lakshmi Kunnath,

Fun games and activities were conducted by Dr Deepa Pais and Dr Prennie V. in which all the women employees participated actively.

Dr E S J Prabhu Kiran, Principal, FMHMC and Dr Vilma D’Souza, Vice Principal, the members of the Management Committee were also present for the programme.

Dr Jenita Fernandes and Mrs Nancy Mascarenhas the programme.  

In connection with the International Women’s Day the Department of OBG, Community Medicine and N.S.S unit of the college conducted camp on 02.03.2023 at Ullal Primary health centre and Street play on “VOICE YOUR CHOICE” with a message to society on Innovation and technology for gender equality at Ullal Primary health centre and camp, Thokottu Busstand, Deralakatte Busstand, Mudipu Busstand and FMHMC Hospital.

The Department of OBG also organized a Talk on the topic “HEALTHY AND NUTRITIOUS DIET”. and Healthy Cooking competition on 04.03.2023 along with N.S.S unit Followed by which there was a Flash Mob performance by the Interns and Students of FMHMC. The hospital also conducted a week long camp Free health check-ups and investigations on concessional rate in the hospital for women.

The annual catechism day was meaningfully celebrated on Sunday, March 5, with the Way of the cross followed by the Eucharistic Celebration at 9 am officiated by Fr Leo Lasrado rector of Gladsom Home& concelebrated by Fr Cyprian Pinto the parish priest. The children actively participated by taking the lead in the choir and liturgy. Following this, the second part of the program was held in the new Church Auditorium. The programme commenced with a prayer song.  Fr Leo Lasrado the vocation coordinator presided over the programme along with the Parish Priest Rev Fr Cyprian Pinto, Vice president of the Parish Council Mr Arun Dsouza, Secretary Mrs Jyothi Dsouza, Superior of Bethel convent Sr Joseph Mary, Superior of the Aloysian Boys Home Sr Alphonsa and Mrs Jescintha Veigas the catechism coordinator were the dignitaries on the dais. A gracious and cheerful welcome was accorded to all the dignitaries by Mrs Jescintha Veigas the catechism coordinator. Prize list was read by Babitha and Sr Royline, prizes were distributed to the students for their good performance in the catechism exam and for securing 100 per cent attendance during the year. Mr Arun Dsouza Vice President of the Parish council delivered a meaningful speech. Catechism teachers were appreciated for their service and were given a gift as a token of love. Students from different classes performed value-based programmes for the audience. Swedal and Janciya compered the programme. Vincent proposed the vote of thanks. Towards the end, a sumptuous lunch was served.

Mangaluru, Mar 9: Jeevandhara Social Service Trust celebrated International Women’s Day on March 9, 2023 at 10:30 am at Sacred Heart’s Pry School Hall, Kulshekar. 

Dr Lavina Dmell, the Principal of Srinivas College of MSW, Mangalore was the chief guest. Sr Anna Maria BS, the Secretary of Jeevandhara Social Service Trust ®, Mangalore was the President. Mr Sathish Maben DRP, PMFME, DIC Yeyyady, Mangalore, Sr Sunitha Maria the warden of Infant Mary Hostel, Sr Ida Janet BS, the Director of Jeevandhara Centre along with Mrs Tamilarasi from Sadhana SHG Kongoor were present on the dais.

Dr Lavina DMello conducted various activities and highlighted the theme of the International Women’s day i.e, Digit ALL: Innovation and technology for gender equality. In her message she encouraged the women to be digitally literate and to apply modern technology in innovation of various business enterprises in adapting to modern lifestyle. She also spoke about etiquettes in public life.

Mr Sathish Maben spoke about various Government schemes available for Women to initiate business enterprises. He assured his total support to avail these schemes so that women gain economic empowerment. Sr Anna Maria BS in her presidential address encouraged the women to gain all levels of empowerment besides Economic Empowerment. She appreciated the women for participating in the celebration and actively involving themselves in various activities. Women performed dance and songs as part of cultural activity. There were around 100 Women from 11 self help groups, tailoring students and MSW students from Srinivas MSW College, Mangalore who participated in the programme. Sr Herita Mathias BS conducted sport games. The winners were awarded on the occasion.

Mrs Bharathi and Ms Vinutha the staff of Jeevandhara Centre presented the report of the yearly activities. Sr Ida Janet welcomed the day’s gathering. Mrs Bharathi proposed vote of thanks to all those who were present for the programme.  Ms Vinutha compeered the day’s programme. It was winded at 1.30pm. The meals were served on the occasion.
