Mangaluru: Annual sports meet 2023, Athena institute of health sciences was organised on 19.01.2023 at Mangala stadium, Mangaluru. The inaugural programme was commenced by invoking God’s blessings through a prayer song at 8.00am with the march past led by the college band followed by the athletes and all the batches of students of Athena institute of health sciences.  Mr. R S. Shettian,Chairman, AIHS was the chief guest . Dr.  Nandini, Principal of allied courses and Rev. Sr. Aileen Mathias, Vice principal, Athena institute of health sciences, were present for the programme. Mrs. Viola D’Souza, SNA advisor, extended warm welcome to the gathering. Krida jyothi was done by the athletes of the institutions and the torch signified the spirit of true sportsmanship. Mr. R.S.Shettian declared the sports meet 2023 open, followed by oath taking ceremony. The chief guest wished good luck to the participants and students gathering. Principal, Rev. Sr. Deepa Peter, in her speech  encouraged the students for their participation. The inaugural programme was came to an end with a vote of thanks proposed by Mrs. Priyanka Dsouza, HOD of Child health nursing department. The students actively participated in all the sports activities. Ms. Martina of 4th year B. SC nursing student compered the programme.

Udupi : Our Lady of Miracles Cathedral of Udupi diocese celebrated Parochial Feast with tradition and fervor on Wednesday, January 18, 2023.

After the distribution of honoring candles to sponsors for the celebration of the feast, Rector of the Cathedral Very Rev Fr. Valerian Mendonca, the Solemn Eucharist celebration began at 10.30 am. The procession carried out from Rectory Presbyterian by Parish Pastoral Vice President, Secretary, Co-coordinator, altar-boys, sponsors of the day, priests’ along with a mass band to the Cathedral.

The Solemn Holy Eucharistic mass concelebrated by Very Rev Fr. Roshan D’Souza, Chancellor of Udupi Diocese, Very Rev Fr. Valerian Mendonca, Rev Fr. Joy Andrade, asst. parish priest, deanery priests, guest priests, former priests of the church and parishioner native priests.

In his beautiful homily, Fr. Roshan D’Souza highlighted the life of Mother Mary with five important characters. He said that the need to celebrate the parish feast is the day of honor for God and Our Lady of Miracles. The main theme of the day’s celebration is that Our Lady of Miracles unite with God. He narrated the five important characteristics of Mother Mary that She is mother of prayer. Mother Mary intercedes for us in prayer and she bestows graces on us from God that God allows Her to.

Mother Mary is the mother of service. Mother Mary is the perfect model of serve. She expresses numerous characteristics of a good servant who is responsive and generous.

Mother Mary is the mother of simplicity who is faithful. Mother Mary also mother of Tolerance and obedience. Mother Mary is the Mother of faithfulness and loyalty. She is not only the mother of Christ but also the mother of all humanity. Our Lady of Miracles, Mother of God and Mother of Souls, has been given to us an example which we can strive to imitate. Our Lady of Miracles is a strong shelter of our life that is the perfect icon of faith and model of faith, he said.  

The Choir enhanced the solemnity of annual parochial feast mass by singing melodious hymns supported by keyboard players.

Very Rev Fr. Valerian Mendonca, Rector of the Cathedral at the end of the mass conveyed annual feast greetings to all parishioners, guests and all concerned. He expressed gratitude to Very Rev Fr. Roshan D’Souza for concelebrating the Solemn mass and delivering meaningful homily. He expressed gratitude to Rev Fr. Joy Andrade, Asst parish priest, two convent nuns, choir team, seven educational institutions heads’, parish pastoral council  vice president, Secretary, pastoral commissions coordinator of past and present, parish pastoral council members and all concerned. The main celebrant of the mass, Fr. Roshan D’Souza distributed decorated honor candles to main sponsors for the annual feast.

On behalf of the priests and him, Fr. Roshan D’Souza gave gratitude to Fr. Valerian Mendonca and his team on the occasion and conveyed his feast best wishes.

The feast of Our Lady of Miracles has been a very historical celebration for three and half centuries with a large number of faithful from all faiths participating in huge numbers and visiting the Church. Large numbers of all religious faithful are used to offering candles before Our Lady of Miracles statue with devotion as well as praying in front of the church altar inside on both days of Vespers’ service and feast day as well. We can see not only on feast days, but all other days of the year, most of the people without any caste pray, visiting and praying for Our Lady of Miracles.

Banglooru: St. Joseph’s Indian Primary School celebrated annual day on 12 January, 2023, at the school ground. “Spheres of Life with NAVARASA,’ was the theme of the annual day celebration.Mr. N.A. Haris, MLA of Shanthinagar Constituency was the chief guest of the programme. Mr. R. Sampath Kumar, CEO- Pool Masters and Waterscapes Pvt.Ltd. and proud alumnus of St. Joseph’s Indian Institutions, was the guest of honour. Fr. Joseph D’Souza SJ, the Rector of St. Joseph’s Indian Institutions presided over the programme.
The programme began with a prayer dance, which highlighted the unity among all the religions. The chief guest along with other dignitaries lit the lamp. The chief guest and the guest of honour were felicitated for their service towards the humankind.
The chief guest, Mr. N.A. Haris, in his address appreciated the services of Jesuit fathers and the sisters in the field of education. He appreciated the teachers for their sacrifice in shaping the minds of the students. He also spoke of the importance of education in independent India. He said, “India is not really free, until every Indian is educated and our education should make us good human beings, where humanity prevails over all the other divisions.”
The achievers of the academic year were rewarded. It was followed by the annual report by the headmistress. Ms. Mary Usha, the staff co-ordinator proposed the vote of thanks. This was followed by a mind-blowing performances by the little children. The performances were confluence of the nine rasas likeShringara (love), Hasya (laughter), Karuna(sorrow), Raudra (anger), Veera (heroism), Bhayanaka (fear), Bibhatsa (disgust), Adbutha (wonder), Shantha (peace). There were different forms of dances and dramas, which showcased the diverse talents of our students. The programme ended with a grand finale, where the students and staff of the entire school performed on the stage. All the people who attended that annual day enjoyed it. In fact, this was a memorable day.

ಸೇಂಟ್ ಜೋಸೆಫ್ ಭಾರತೀಯ ಪ್ರಾಥಮಿಕ ಶಾಲೆಯು 12 ಜನವರಿ 2023 ರಂದು ಶಾಲಾ ಮೈದಾನದಲ್ಲಿ ವಾರ್ಷಿಕ ದಿನವನ್ನು ಆಚರಿಸಿತು. “ನವರಸದೊಂದಿಗೆ ಜೀವನದ ಗೋಳಗಳು” ವಾರ್ಷಿಕ ದಿನಾಚರಣೆಯ ವಿಷಯವಾಗಿತ್ತು. ಶ್ರೀ. ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದ ಮುಖ್ಯ ಅತಿಥಿಗಳಾಗಿ ಶಾಂತಿನಗರ ಕ್ಷೇತ್ರದ ಶಾಸಕ ಎನ್.ಎ.ಹರೀಸ್ ಆಗಮಿಸಿದ್ದರು. ಶ್ರೀ ಆರ್. ಸಂಪತ್ ಕುಮಾರ್, ಸಿಇಒ- ಪೂಲ್ ಮಾಸ್ಟರ್ಸ್ ಮತ್ತು ವಾಟರ್‌ಸ್ಕೇಪ್ಸ್ ಪ್ರೈ.ಲಿ. ಮತ್ತು ಸೇಂಟ್ ಜೋಸೆಫ್ ಭಾರತೀಯ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಗಳ ಹೆಮ್ಮೆಯ ಹಳೆಯ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿ, ಗೌರವ ಅತಿಥಿಯಾಗಿದ್ದರು. ಫಾ. ಸೈಂಟ್ ಜೋಸೆಫ್ ಭಾರತೀಯ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಗಳ ರೆಕ್ಟರ್ ಜೋಸೆಫ್ ಡಿಸೋಜ ಎಸ್.ಜೆ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷತೆ ವಹಿಸಿದ್ದರು.
ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮವು ಪ್ರಾರ್ಥನಾ ನೃತ್ಯದೊಂದಿಗೆ ಪ್ರಾರಂಭವಾಯಿತು, ಇದು ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಧರ್ಮಗಳ ನಡುವಿನ ಏಕತೆಯನ್ನು ಎತ್ತಿ ತೋರಿಸುತ್ತದೆ. ಮುಖ್ಯ ಅತಿಥಿಗಳು ಹಾಗೂ ಇತರ ಗಣ್ಯರು ದೀಪ ಬೆಳಗಿಸಿದರು. ಮುಖ್ಯ ಅತಿಥಿಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ಗೌರವಾನ್ವಿತ ಅತಿಥಿಗಳನ್ನು ಮಾನವಕುಲದ ಸೇವೆಗಾಗಿ ಸನ್ಮಾನಿಸಲಾಯಿತು.
ಮುಖ್ಯ ಅತಿಥಿಗಳಾದ ಶ್ರೀ ಎನ್.ಎ.ಹರೀಸ್ ಅವರು ತಮ್ಮ ಭಾಷಣದಲ್ಲಿ ಶಿಕ್ಷಣ ಕ್ಷೇತ್ರದಲ್ಲಿ ಜೆಸ್ಯೂಟ್ ಪಿತಾಮಹರು ಮತ್ತು ಸಹೋದರಿಯರ ಸೇವೆಯನ್ನು ಶ್ಲಾಘಿಸಿದರು. ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳ ಮನಸ್ಸನ್ನು ರೂಪಿಸುವಲ್ಲಿ ಶಿಕ್ಷಕರ ತ್ಯಾಗವನ್ನು ಶ್ಲಾಘಿಸಿದರು. ಸ್ವತಂತ್ರ ಭಾರತದಲ್ಲಿ ಶಿಕ್ಷಣದ ಮಹತ್ವದ ಬಗ್ಗೆಯೂ ಮಾತನಾಡಿದರು. ಅವರು ಹೇಳಿದರು, “ಪ್ರತಿಯೊಬ್ಬ ಭಾರತೀಯನು ಶಿಕ್ಷಣ ಪಡೆಯುವವರೆಗೆ ಮತ್ತು ನಮ್ಮ ಶಿಕ್ಷಣವು ನಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಉತ್ತಮ ಮನುಷ್ಯರನ್ನಾಗಿ ಮಾಡುವವರೆಗೆ ಭಾರತವು ನಿಜವಾಗಿಯೂ ಸ್ವತಂತ್ರವಾಗಿಲ್ಲ, ಅಲ್ಲಿ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ವಿಭಾಗಗಳಿಗಿಂತ ಮಾನವೀಯತೆ ಮೇಲುಗೈ ಸಾಧಿಸುತ್ತದೆ.”
ಶೈಕ್ಷಣಿಕ ವರ್ಷದ ಸಾಧಕರನ್ನು ಪುರಸ್ಕರಿಸಲಾಯಿತು. ಅದರ ನಂತರ ಮುಖ್ಯೋಪಾಧ್ಯಾಯರಿಂದ ವಾರ್ಷಿಕ ವರದಿ ನಡೆಯಿತು. ಸಿಬ್ಬಂದಿ ಸಮನ್ವಯಾಧಿಕಾರಿ ಮೇರಿ ಉಷಾ ವಂದಿಸಿದರು. ನಂತರ ಪುಟಾಣಿ ಮಕ್ಕಳಿಂದ ಮನಮುಟ್ಟುವ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮಗಳು ಜರುಗಿದವು. ಶೃಂಗಾರ (ಪ್ರೀತಿ), ಹಾಸ್ಯ (ನಗು), ಕರುಣ (ದುಃಖ), ರೌದ್ರ (ಕೋಪ), ವೀರ (ಶೌರ್ಯ), ಭಯನಕ (ಭಯ), ಬಿಭತ್ಸ (ಅಸಹ್ಯ), ಅದ್ಬುತ (ಅದ್ಭುತ), ಶಾಂತ (ಇಂತಹ ಒಂಬತ್ತು ರಸಗಳ ಸಂಗಮವಾಗಿತ್ತು. ಶಾಂತಿ). ವಿವಿಧ ರೀತಿಯ ನೃತ್ಯಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ನಾಟಕಗಳು ನಮ್ಮ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳ ವೈವಿಧ್ಯಮಯ ಪ್ರತಿಭೆಯನ್ನು ಪ್ರದರ್ಶಿಸಿದವು. ಇಡೀ ಶಾಲೆಯ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ಸಿಬ್ಬಂದಿ ವೇದಿಕೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರದರ್ಶನ ನೀಡಿದ ಅದ್ಧೂರಿ ಮುಕ್ತಾಯದೊಂದಿಗೆ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮವು ಕೊನೆಗೊಂಡಿತು. ಆ ವಾರ್ಷಿಕ ದಿನವನ್ನು ಹಾಜರಿದ್ದ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಜನರು ಆನಂದಿಸಿದರು. ವಾಸ್ತವವಾಗಿ, ಇದು ಸ್ಮರಣೀಯ ದಿನವಾಗಿತ್ತು.

ಕುಂದಾಪುರ: ಜನವರಿ 18ರಂದು ಇಲ್ಲಿನ ಭಂಡಾರ್ಕಾರ್ಸ್ ಪದವಿ ಕಾಲೇಜಿನಲ್ಲಿ ರೆಡ್ ಕ್ರಾಸ್ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಯ ಕುಂದಾಪುರ ಘಟಕ, ಕಾಲೇಜಿನ ಯುಥ್ ರೆಡ್ ಕ್ರಾಸ್, ಎನ್.ಎಸ್.ಎಸ್, ಎನ್.ಸಿ.ಸಿ ಮತ್ತು ರೇಂಜರ್ಸ್ ಮತ್ತು ರೋವರ್ಸ್ ಇವರ ಸಂಯುಕ್ತಾಶ್ರಯದಲ್ಲಿ ರಕ್ತ ದಾನ ಶಿಬಿರ ನಡೆಯಿತು.
ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮವನ್ನು ಭಾರತೀಯ ರೆಡ್ ಕ್ರಾಸ್ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಯ ಕುಂದಾಪುರ ಘಟಕದ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷರಾದ ಜಯಕರ ಶೆಟ್ಟಿ ಉದ್ಘಾಟಿಸಿದರು.
ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷತೆಯನ್ನು ಭಂಡಾರ್ಕಾರ್ಸ್ ಪದವಿ ಕಾಲೇಜಿನ ಪ್ರಾಂಶುಪಾಲ ಡಾ ಎನ್.ಪಿ.ನಾರಾಯಣ ಶೆಟ್ಟಿ ವಹಿಸಿದ್ದರು.
ಈ ಸಂದರ್ಭದಲ್ಲಿ ವೇದಿಕೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಭಾರತೀಯ ರೆಡ್ ಕ್ರಾಸ್ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಯ ಕುಂದಾಪುರ ಘಟಕದ ಕಾರ್ಯದರ್ಶಿ ಸೀತಾರಾಮ ಶೆಟ್ಟಿ, ಖಜಾಂಚಿ ಶಿವರಾಂ ಶೆಟ್ಟಿ, ಸದಸ್ಯರಾದ ಡಾ. ಸೋನಿ ಡಿಕೋಸ್ತಾ, ಭಂಡಾರ್ಕಾರ್ಸ್ ಪದವಿ ಪೂರ್ವ ಕಾಲೇಜಿನ ಪ್ರಾಂಶುಪಾಲ ಡಾ ಜಿ.ಎಂ.ಗೊಂಡ, ಭಂಡಾರ್ಕಾರ್ಸ್ ಪದವಿ ಕಾಲೇಜಿನ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿ ಕ್ಷೇಮಪಾಲನಾಧಿಕಾರಿ ಡಾ. ಶುಭಕರಾಚಾರಿ ರೆಡ್ ಕ್ರಾಸ್ ಘಟಕದ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮಾಧಿಕಾರಿ ಸತ್ಯನಾರಾಯಣ ರೇಂಜರ್ಸ್ ಮತ್ತು ರೋವರ್ಸ್ ಇದರ ರಿತಿನ್ ಮತ್ತು ಅಕ್ಷತಾ ಉಪಸ್ಥಿತರಿದ್ದರು.
ಸುಮಾರು 201ಯುನಿಟ್ ರಕ್ತ ಸಂಗ್ರಹಿಸಿ ಭಾರತೀಯ ರೆಡ್ ಕ್ರಾಸ್ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಯ ಕುಂದಾಪುರ ರಕ್ತ ನಿಧಿ ಕೇಂದ್ರಕ್ಕೆ ನೀಡಲಾಯಿತು.

ಕೋಟ: ಬೀಜಾಡಿ ಗೋಪಾಡಿ ಮಿತ್ರ ಸಂಗಮದ 25 ಸಾರ್ಥಕ ವಸಂತಗಳ ಸಂಭ್ರಮಾಚರಣೆ “ರಜತಪಥ” ನೆರಳು ಬೆಳಕಿನ ಸಹಯಾನ ಫೆ. 03ರಿಂದ 05 ತನಕ ನಡೆಯಲಿದ್ದು, ಈ ಪ್ರಯುಕ್ತ ರಜತ ಮಹೋತ್ಸವದ ಆಮಂತ್ರಣ ಪತ್ರಿಕೆ ಬಿಡುಗಡೆ ಸಮಾರಂಭ ಸೋಮವಾರ ಜರಗಿತು.
ಹೋಟೆಲ್ ಉದ್ಯಮಿ, ದಾನಿ ರಾಮಚಂದ್ರ ರಾವ್ ಮೂಡುಗೋಪಾಡಿ ಆಮಂತ್ರಣ ಬಿಡುಗಡೆಗೊಳಿಸಿ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮ ಯಶಸ್ವಿಯಾಗಿ ನಡೆಯಲಿ ಎಂದು ಶುಭಹಾರೈಸಿದರು. ಈ ಸಂದರ್ಭದಲ್ಲಿ ಜಾನಕಿ ರಾಮಚಂದ್ರ ರಾವ್, ವೀಣಾಅನೂಪ್ ಕುಮಾರ್, ಮಿತ್ರ ಸಂಗಮದ ಉಪಾಧ್ಯಕ್ಷ ನಾಗರಾಜ ಬೀಜಾಡಿ, ಪ್ರಧಾನ ಕಾರ್ಯದರ್ಶಿ ರಾಜೇಶ್ ಆಚಾರ್ಯ ಬೀಜಾಡಿ, ಕೋಶಾಧಿಕಾರಿ ರಾಜೇಶ್ ಆಚಾರ್ಯ ಗೋಪಾಡಿ, ರಜತ ಮಹೋತ್ಸವ ಸಮಿತಿಯ ಉಪಾಧ್ಯಕ್ಷ ಅನೂಪ್ ಕುಮಾರ್ ಬಿ.ಆರ್, ಪ್ರಧಾನ ಕಾರ್ಯದರ್ಶಿ ಚಂದ್ರ ಬಿ.ಎನ್, ಸಂಚಾಲಕ ಗಿರೀಶ್ ಕೆ.ಎಸ್, ಸಾಗರದ ಗಣೇಶ್ ಆಚಾರ್ಯ ಮೊದಲಾದವರು ಉಪಸ್ಥಿತರಿದ್ದರು.
ಮಿತ್ರ ಸಂಗಮದ ಗೌರವಾಧ್ಯಕ್ಷ ಬಿ.ವಾದಿರಾಜ್ ಹೆಬ್ಬಾರ್ ಸ್ವಾಗತಿಸಿ, ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮ ನಿರೂಪಿಸಿದರು.

ಎಐಸಿಸಿ ಕಾರ್ಯದರ್ಶಿ ಕೇರಳ ಶಾಸಕ ರೋಜಿ ಎಂ. ಜಾನ್ ಮತ್ತು ಕೆಪಿಸಿಸಿ ಕಾರ್ಯಾದ್ಯಕ್ಷ ಶ್ರೀ ಆರ್ . ದ್ರುವ ನಾರಾಯಣರವರು ಶ್ರೀ. ಕೆ. ಪ್ರತಾಪಚಂದ್ರ ಶೆಟ್ಟಿಯವರ ನಿವಾಸಕ್ಕೆ ಬೇಟಿ ನೀಡಿದರು.

ನಾಯಕರು ಈ ಸಂದರ್ಭದಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರಜಾಧ್ವನಿ ಸಮಾವೇಶ ಯಶಸ್ವಿ ಕುರಿತು ಮತ್ತು ಜಿಲ್ಲೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಪಕ್ಷ ಸಂಘಟನೆ ಕುರಿತು ಚರ್ಚಿಸಿದರು.

ಈ ಸಂದರ್ಭದಲ್ಲಿ ಜಿಲ್ಲಾ ಕಾಂಗ್ರೆಸ್ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷ ಅಶೋಕ ಕುಮಾರ ಕೊಡವೂರ ,ಕುಂದಾಪುರ ಬ್ಲಾಕ್ ಕಾಂಗ್ರೆಸ್ ಅದ್ಯಕ್ಷ ಕಾನ್ಮ ಕ್ಕಿ ಹರಿಪ್ರಸಾದ ಶೆಟ್ಟಿ , ಜಿಲ್ಲಾ ಕಾಂಗ್ರೆಸ್ ಪ್ರಧಾನ ಕಾರ್ಯದರ್ಶಿ ಸತೀಶ ಕಿಣಿ ಬೆಳ್ವೆ , ಹಾಲಾಡಿ ಗ್ರಾಮೀಣ ಕಾಂಗ್ರೆಸ್ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷ ಅಶೋಕ ಶೆಟ್ಟಿ ಚೋರಾಡಿ ಉಪಸ್ಥಿತರಿದ್ದರು.

ಶ್ರೀನಿವಾಸಪುರ 3 : ದೇಶದ ಬೆನ್ನೆಲುಬಾದ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ಕೆಟ್ಟಹವ್ಯಾಸಗಳಿಗೆ ತಮ್ಮ ಅಮೂಲ್ಯವಾದ ಜೀವನವನ್ನು ಬಲಿಕೊಡದೆ ಆರೋಗ್ಯವಂತ ಜೀವನವನ್ನು ಪಠ್ಯ ಹಾಗು ಪಠ್ಯೇತರ ಚಟುವಟಿಕೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಪಾಲ್ಗುಂಡು ಉತ್ತಮ ಸಾಧನೆಯ ಮೂಲಕ ದೇಶದ ಘನತೆ ಗೌರವವನ್ನು ಕಾಪಾಡುವಂತೆ ಬಿಆರ್‍ಸಿ ಕೆ.ಸಿ. ವಸಂತ ಕರೆ ನೀಡಿದರು.
ಪಟ್ಟಣ ಬಾಲಕೀಯರ ಪದವಿ ಪೂರ್ವ ಕಾಲೇಜು ಆವರಣದಲ್ಲಿ ಮಂಗಳವಾರ ಯುವ ಸಬಲೀಕರಣ ಮತ್ತು ಕ್ರೀಡಾ ಇಲಾಖೆವತಿಯಿಂದ ವಿವಿಧ ಕ್ರೀಡೆಗಳ ಆಯ್ಕೆಗಾಗಿ ನಡೆದ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮಕ್ಕೆ ಚಾಲನೆ ನೀಡಿ ಮಾತನಾಡಿದರು.
ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ಶಿಕ್ಷಣ ಜೊತೆಗೆ ಕ್ರೀಡೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಭಾಗವಹಿಸಬೇಕು. ಅದರ ಸದುಪಯೋಗ ಪಡೆಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳಬೇಕು. ಕ್ರೀಡಾ ಚಟುವಟಿಕೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಹೆಚ್ಚು ಭಾಗವಹಿಸಿದರೆ, ಆರೋಗ್ಯ ವೃದ್ದಿ ಹಾಗೂ ದೈಹಿಕವಾಗಿ ಸಧೃಡವಾಗಬಹುದು. ಕ್ರೀಡೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಭಾಗವಹಸಿದರೆ ರಾಜ್ಯ, ರಾಷ್ಟಮಟ್ಟದಲ್ಲಿ ಒಳ್ಳೆಯ ಪ್ರದರ್ಶನವನ್ನು ನೀಡಿದರೆ ನಮ್ಮ ಜಿಲ್ಲೆಗೆ ಹಾಗೂ ಪೋಷಕರಿಗೆ ಒಳ್ಳೆಯ ಹೆಸರು ತಂದಹಾಗೆ ಎಂದರು. ಅಲ್ಲಿ ನೀಡುವ ಪ್ರಶಸ್ತಿ ಪತ್ರ ಪಡೆದರೆ ಸರ್ಕಾರಿ ಸೌಲಭ್ಯಗಳನ್ನು ಪಡೆಯಲು ಸಹಕಾರಿಯಾಗುತ್ತದೆ.
ಅಥ್ಲೆಟಿಕ್ ಕೋಚ್ ವೆಂಕಟೇಶ್ ಮಾತನಾಡಿ ಸರ್ಕಾರದಿಂದ ಪ್ರತಿ ವರ್ಷ ಕ್ರೀಡಾ ಶಾಲೆಗಳಿಗೆ ಮತ್ತು ವಸತಿ ನಿಲಯಗಳಿಗೆ ಆಯ್ಕೆ ಪ್ರಕ್ರಿಯೆ ನಡೆಸಲಾಗುತ್ತದೆ. ರಾಜ್ಯದ 35 ಜಿಲ್ಲೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಈ ಆಯ್ಕೆ ಪ್ರಕ್ರಿಯೆ ನಡೆಯಲಿದೆ. 4, 5, 7, 8 ನೇ ತರಗತಿ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಮತ್ತು ಪಿಯುಸಿ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಪ್ರವೇಶವಿರುತ್ತದೆ. ಈ ವರ್ಷ ವಿಭಾಗ ಮತ್ತು ರಾಜ್ಯ ಮಟ್ಟಕ್ಕೆ ಆಯ್ಕೆ ಮಾಡಿ ಕಳುಹಿಸುತ್ತಾರೆ. ಇದನ್ನು ಗ್ರಾಮೀಣ ಭಾಗದ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ಸದ್ಭಳಕೆ ಮಾಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳ ಬೇಕು ಎಂದು ಸಲಹೆ ನೀಡಿದರು.
ಪ್ರತಿಭೆ ಗುರ್ತಿಸಿ ಜಿಲ್ಲಾ ಮತ್ತು ರಾಜ್ಯ ಮಟ್ಟಕ್ಕೆ ಆಯ್ಕೆ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಾರೆ. ಆಯ್ಕೆಯಾದ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಯುವ ಸಬಲೀಕರಣ ಮತ್ತು ಕ್ರೀಡಾ ಇಲಾಖೆಯಿಂದ ನುರಿತ ತರಬೇತಿದಾರರಿಂದ ತರಬೇತಿ ನೀಡಲಾಗುವುದು ಹಾಗೂ ಊಟ, ವಸತಿ ವ್ಯವಸ್ಥೆ ಮಾಡಲಾಗುವುದು ಎಂದರು.
ಯುವ ಸಬಲೀಕರಣ ಮತ್ತು ಕ್ರೀಡಾ ಇಲಾಖೆ .ಕೋಲಾರ ಸಹಾಯಕ ನಿರ್ದೇಶಕಿ ಜಿ.ಎಂ. ಶಶಿಕಲಾ, ಫುಟ್ಬಲ್ ಕೋಚ್ ನಾಸೀರ್ ಭಾಷ, ಬಿಇಒ ವ್ಯವಸ್ಥಾಪಕ ರಾಜೇಖರ್ ರೆಡ್ಡಿ, ತಾಲೂಕು ದೈಹಿಕ ಶಿಕ್ಷಣಾಧಿಕಾರಿಗಳಾದ ಎಸ್ .ವೆಂಕಟಸ್ವಾಮಿ, ಮದನ್, ಬಿಆರ್‍ಪಿ ವೆಂಕಟಚಾಲಪತಿ, ಶಿಕ್ಷಕರಾದ ನಾರಾಯಣಸ್ವಾಮಿ, ಶಿವಣ್ಣ ಇದ್ದರು.

ಶ್ರೀನಿವಾಸಪುರ:ಶ್ರದ್ದೆ ಭಕ್ತಿಗಳಿಂದ ಪೂಜೆ ಮಾಡುವ ಮೂಲಕ ಮೇಲ್‍ಮರವತ್ತುರ್ ಅದಿಪರಾಶಕ್ತಿಯನ್ನು ನೋಡಲು ಮತ್ತು ಹರಿಕೆ ತೀರಿಸಲು ಹೋಗುವ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಭಕ್ತರಿಗೆ ಅವರ ಕುಟುಂಬಗಳಿಗೆ ಸುಖ, ಶಾಂತಿ, ಸಂತೋಷ ನೆಮ್ಮದಿ ಜೊತೆಗೆ ಅರ್ಥಿಕವಾಗಿ ಅಭಿವೃದ್ದಿಯಾಗಲು ಓಂ ಶಕ್ತಿ ತಾಯಿ ಶಕ್ತಿ ನೀಡಲಿ ಎಂದು ಸಮಾಜ ಸೇವಕ ಹಾಗೂ ಕಾಂಗ್ರೇಸ್ ಮುಖಂಡ ಜಿ.ಕೆ. ಶ್ರೀರಾಮರೆಡ್ಡಿ ತಿಳಿಸಿದರು.
ತಾಲ್ಲೂಕಿನ ಕಸಬಾ ಹೋಬಳಿ ಕೇತಗಾನಹಳ್ಳಿ ಗ್ರಾಮದಲ್ಲಿ ಓಂ ಶಕ್ತಿ ದೇವರ ದರ್ಶನ ಪಡೆಯಲು ಬಸ್ ವ್ಯವಸ್ಥೆ ಮಾಡಿ ಮಾತನಾಡಿದ ಶ್ರೀರಾಮರೆಡ್ಡಿ ಇತ್ತೀಚಿನ ದಿನಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಅನೇಕ ಗ್ರಾಮಗಳಿಂದ ಸಾವಿರಾರು ಜನ ಮೇಲ್ ಮರವತ್ತುರ್ ನಲ್ಲಿ ನೆಲಸಿರುವ ಓಂ ಶಕ್ತಿ ದೇವರ ದರ್ಶನಕ್ಕೆ ಸಾಕಷ್ಟು ಜನರು ಹೋಗುತ್ತಿದ್ದು, ಈ ತಾಯಿ ಅವರ ಕೋರಿಕೆಗಳನ್ನು ಈಡೇರಿಸಿ ಒಳ್ಳೆಯದು ಅಗಿದೆ ಎಂದು ಜನ ನಂಬಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಇನ್ನಷ್ಟು ನಮ್ಮ ಗ್ರಾಮದ ಜನರಿಗೆ ಹಾಗೂ ಸುತ್ತಮುತ್ತಲಿನ ಜನತೆಗೆ ಒಳ್ಳೆಯ ಆರೋಗ್ಯ ಭಾಗ್ಯ, ಮಳೆ ಬೆಳೆ ಚನ್ನಾಗಿ ಆಗಲಿ ಎಂದ ಇವರು ಪ್ರಯಾಣ ಮಾಡುವಾಗ ಯಾತ್ರಸ್ಥಳಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಓಡಾಡುವಾಗ ಸಾಕಷ್ಟು ಜಾಗೃತವಹಿಸಿ ಮಕ್ಕಳನ್ನು ಕರೆದ್ಯೊವಾಗ ಅವರ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಗಮನಹರಿಸಬೇಕು ಯಾತ್ರೆ ಹೋಗುವ ಹಾದಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಸಿಗುವ ಪ್ರವಾಸ ತಾಣಗಳನ್ನು ವಿಕ್ಷಣೆಮಾಡಿ ನಿಮ್ಮಲ್ಲರಿಗೂ ಶುಭವಾಗಲಿ ಎಂದು ಹಾರೈಸಿದರು.
ಈ ಸಮಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಕೇತಗಾನಹಳ್ಳಿ ಹಾಲು ಉತ್ಪಾದಕರ ಸಹಕಾರ ಸಂಘದ ಮಾಜಿ ಕಾರ್ಯದರ್ಶಿ ಗೋಪಾಲರೆಡ್ಡಿ, ಚಲ್ದಿಗಾನಹಳ್ಳಿ ಗ್ರಾಮ ಪಂಚಾಯಿತಿ ಮಾಜಿ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷ ಕೆ.ವಿ. ರಾಧಾಕೃಷ್ಣಾರೆಡ್ಡಿ. ಪತ್ರಕರ್ತ ಕೆ.ಎಂ. ಸೋಮಶೇಖರ್, ವಿಶ್ವನಾಥರೆಡ್ಡಿ, ಗುರುಸ್ವಾಮಿ ರಮೇಶ್, ಟೈಲರ್ ಶಂಕರಪ್ಪ, ಮನು, ಹಾಗೂ ಗ್ರಾಮಸ್ಥರು ಉಪಸ್ಥಿತರಿದ್ದರು.

ಕೋಲಾರ; ಜ.17: ಕಳಪೆ ಕಲ್ಲಂಗಡಿ ಬಿತ್ತನೆಬೀಜ ವಿತರಣೆ ಮಾಡಿರುವ ಯುನಿಜೆನ್ ಸೀಡ್ಸ್ ಕಂಪನಿ ವಿರುದ್ಧ ಕ್ರಿಮಿನಲ್ ಮೊಕದ್ದಮೆ ದಾಖಲು ಮಾಡಿ ನಷ್ಟವಾಗಿರುವ ರೈತನ ಪ್ರತಿ ಎಕರೆಗೆ 3 ಲಕ್ಷರೂ ಪರಿಹಾರ ನೀಡಬೇಕೆಂದು ಜಿಲ್ಲಾಡಳಿತವನ್ನು ನೊಂದ ರೈತ ಪರವಾಗಿ ರೈತಸಂಘದ ರಾಜ್ಯ ಉಪಾಧ್ಯಕ್ಷ ಕೆ.ನಾರಾಯಣಗೌಡ ಒತ್ತಾಯಿಸಿದರು.
ಕೋಲಾರ ತಾಲೂಕು ಹೋಳೂರು ಹೋಬಳಿ ಕಮ್ಮಸಂದ್ರ ಗ್ರಾಮದ 3 ಎಕರೆ ಜಮೀನಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಬೆಳೆದಿರುವ ಯುನಿಜೆನ್ ಕಂಪನಿಯ ನರ್ಗೀಸ್ ತಳಿಯ ಕಲ್ಲಂಗಡಿ ತೋಟಕ್ಕೆ ಭೇಟಿ ನೀಡಿ ಮಾತನಾಡಿದ ಅವರು, 2 ವರ್ಷ ಕೊರೊನಾ, ಮತ್ತೆರೆಡು ವರ್ಷ ಮುಂಗಾರು ಮಳೆ ಆರ್ಭಟಕ್ಕೆ ತತ್ತರಿಸಿದರೂ ಛಲ ಬಿಡದ ರೈತ ಕಮ್ಮಸಂದ್ರ ವೆಂಕಟರಾಮೇಗೌಡ 3 ಎಕರೆ ಜಮೀನಿನಲ್ಲಿ 4 ಲಕ್ಷ ಖಾಸಗಿ ಸಾಲ ಮಾಡಿ ಬೆಳೆದಿರುವಂತಹ ಕಲ್ಲಂಗಡಿ ಸಮೃದ್ಧವಾಗಿ ಬೆಳೆದು ಮಾರುಕಟ್ಟೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಉತ್ತಮ ಬೆಲೆ ಇದ್ದು ತನ್ನ ಕಷ್ಟ ತೀರುತ್ತದೆ ಎಂಬ ನಿರೀಕ್ಷೆಯಲ್ಲಿದ್ದ ರೈತನಿಗೆ ಕಂಪನಿಯ ಕಳಪೆ ಬಿತ್ತನೆಬೀಜದಿಂದ ಕೈಗೆ ಬಂದ ಬೆಳೆ ಬಾಯಿಗೆ ಬಾರದೆ ಹಾಕಿದ ಬಂಡವಾಳವೂ ಕೈಗೆ ಸಿಗದೆ ಕಂಪನಿಯ ಮೋಸದಾಟಕ್ಕೆ ರೈತನ ಶ್ರಮ ವ್ಯರ್ಥವಾಗಿದೆ ಎಂದು ನಕಲಿ ಕಂಪನಿಗಳ ವಿರುದ್ಧ ಆಕ್ರೋಶ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಪಡಿಸಿದರು.
40% ಕಮೀಷನ್ ಆರೋಪ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದಕ್ಕೆ ಗುತ್ತಿಗೆದಾರರ ಮೇಲೆ ಮಾನ ನಷ್ಟ ಮೊಕದ್ದಮ್ಮೆ ಕೇಸು ದಾಖಲಿಸುವ ಜಿಲ್ಲಾ ಉಸ್ತುವಾರಿ ಹಾಗೂ ತೋಟಗಾರಿಕೆ ಸಚಿವರೇ ನಕಲಿ ಬಿತ್ತನೆಬೀಜ, ಔಷಧಿಗಳು ಮಾರಾಟ ಮಾಡುವ ಮುಖಾಂತರ ರೈತರ ಮರಣಶಾಸನ ಬರೆಯುತ್ತಿರುವ ಕಂಪನಿಗಳ ವಿರುದ್ಧ ಧ್ವನಿ ಎತ್ತದ ಹಾಗೂ ನೊಂದ ರೈತರ ಪರ ನಿಲ್ಲದ ತಮ್ಮ ವಿರುದ್ಧ ಯಾವ ಕೇಸು ದಾಖಲಿಸಬೇಕೆಂದು ಪ್ರಶ್ನೆ ಮಾಡಿದರು.
ನೊಂದ ರೈತ ಕಮ್ಮಸಂದ್ರ ವೆಂಕಟರಾಮೇಗೌಡ ಮಾತನಾಡಿ, ಯುನಿಜೆನ್ ಕಂಪನಿಯ ಅಧಿಕಾರಿಗಳು ಗ್ರಾಮಕ್ಕೆ ಬಂದು ಉತ್ತಮ ಗುಣಮಟ್ಟದ ನರ್ಗೀಸ್ ತಳಿಯ ಕಲ್ಲಂಗಡಿ ನಾಟಿ ಮಾಡು ಉತ್ತಮ ಇಳುವರಿ ಬರುತ್ತದೆ ಎಂದು 15 ಪಾಕೆಟ್ ಬಿತ್ತನೆ ಬೀಜ ನೀಡಿದ್ದರು. ಆ ನಂತರ ತಿಪ್ಪೆ ಗೊಬ್ಬರ ಸೇರಿದಂತೆ ಭೂಮಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಫಲವತ್ತತೆ ಮಾಡಿ ಪೇಪರ್ ಅಳವಡಿಸಿ ಸುಮಾರು 4 ಲಕ್ಷರೂ ಖರ್ಚು ಮಾಡಿಬೆಳೆದಿರುವ ಕಲ್ಲಂಗಡಿ ಉತ್ತಮ ಬೆಳೆ ಬಂದಿದೆ.
ಆದರೆ ಪ್ರತಿ ಕೆಜಿಗೆ 10 ರೂಪಾಯಿಯಂತೆ ವ್ಯಾಪಾರಸ್ಥರಿಗೆ ನೀಡಿ ವ್ಯಾಪಾರಸ್ಥರು ಬಂದು ಕಾಯಿಯನ್ನು ಕೊಯ್ದಾಗ ಒಳಗಡೆ ಸಂಪೂರ್ಣವಾಗಿ ಬಿಳಿ ಬಣ್ಣದ ಗೆಣಸು ರೀತಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಹಣ್ಣಾಗಿರುವುದರಿಂದ ಅದನ್ನು ನೋಡಿದ ವ್ಯಾಪಾರಸ್ಥ ಇದು ಮಾರುಕಟ್ಟೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಮಾರಾಟವಗುವುದಿಲ್ಲ. ನನಗೆ ಬೇಡ ಎಂದು 3 ಎಕರೆಯ 80 ಟನ್ ಫಸಲನ್ನು ತೋಟದಲ್ಲಿಯೇ ನಿರಾಕಸಿರುವುದರಿಂದ ಇದನ್ನೇ ನಂಬಿ ಖಾಸಗಿ ಸಾಲ ಮಾಡಿ ಹಾಕಿದ ಬಂಡವಾಳ ಕೈಗೆ ಬರದೆ ನಷ್ಟದ ಹಾದಿಗೆ ಕಾರಣವಾಗಿರುವ ನಕಲಿ ಕಂಪನಿ ವಿರುದ್ಧ ಆಕ್ರೋಶ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಪಡಿಸಿದರು.
ಸಂಬಂಧಪಟ್ಟ ಕಂಪನಿಯವರನ್ನು ಸಂಪರ್ಕ ಮಾಡಿದರೆ ಕಳೆದ ವರ್ಷವೇ ಈ ತಳಿಯನ್ನು ಬ್ಯಾನ್ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದೇವೆ. ನಿಮಗೆ ಮೋಸ ಮಾಡಿ ನೀಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ನಿಮ್ಮ ಬಳಿ ದಾಖಲೆಗಳಿದ್ದರೆ ಕಾನೂನು ಸಮರ ಮಾಡಿ ಎಂದು ಬೇಜವಾಬ್ದಾರಿ ಉತ್ತರ ನೀಡುತ್ತಾರೆ. ಇನ್ನು ಅಧಿಕಾರಿಗಳನ್ನು ಕೇಳಿದರೆ ತೋಟ ಬಂದು ಪರಿಶೀಲನೆ ಮಾಡಿ, ಧಾರವಾಡದ ವಿಜ್ಞಾನಿಗಳನ್ನು ಕರೆಯಿಸಿ, ಪರಿಶೀಲನೆ ಮಾಡುತ್ತೇವೆಂದು ಪ್ರತಿಬಾರಿ ಜಿಲ್ಲೆಯ ರೈತರು ಕಳಪೆ ಬಿತ್ತನೆ ಬೀಜ, ರಸಗೊಬ್ಬರದಿಂದ ನಷ್ಟವಾದಾಗ ಇದೇ ಉತ್ತರ ನೀಡುವುದರಿಂದ ನಕಲಿ ಕಂಪನಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಅಧಿಕಾರಿಗಳೇ ಬೆಂಗಾವಲಾಗಿ ನಿಂತಿದ್ದಾರೆಂದು ಆರೋಪ ಮಾಡಿದರು.
24 ಗಂಟೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಕಳಪೆ ಬಿತ್ತನೆ ಬೀಜ ನೀಡಿರುವ ಕಂಪನಿ ವಿರುದ್ಧ ಕ್ರಿಮಿನಲ್ ಮೊಕದ್ದಮೆ ದಾಖಲು ಮಾಡಿ ನಷ್ಟ ಪರಿಹಾರ ನೀಡದೇ ಇದ್ದರೆ ಕಳಪೆ ಕಲ್ಲಂಗಡಿ ಸಮೇತ ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೀಯ ಹೆದ್ದಾರಿ ಬಂದ್ ಮಾಡಿ ನ್ಯಾಯ ಪಡೆದುಕೊಳ್ಳುವ ಎಚ್ಚರಿಕೆಯನ್ನು ಸಂಬಂಧಪಟ್ಟ ಸಚಿವರು ಮತ್ತು ಅಧಿಕಾರಿಗಳಿಗೆ ನೀಡಿದರು.
ಈ ಸಂದರ್ಭದಲ್ಲಿ ಜಿಲ್ಲಾಧ್ಯಕ್ಷ ಈಕಂಬಳ್ಳಿ ಮಂಜುನಾಥ್, ಮುಳಬಾಗಿಲು ತಾಲೂಕು ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷ ಯಲುವಳ್ಳಿ ಪ್ರಭಾಕರ್, ಗುರು, ವೇಣು, ನವೀನ್, ಯಾರಂಘಟ್ಟ ಗಿರೀಶ್, ನೊಂದ ರೈತ ಮಹಿಳೆಯರು ಮುಂತಾದವರಿದ್ದರು.
