ಕುಂದಾಪುರ : ವಿಶ್ವ ಕ್ಷಯರೋಗ ದಿನಾಚರಣೆಯ ಅಂಗವಾಗಿ, ಜಿಲ್ಲಾ ಆರೋಗ್ಯ ಅಧಿಕಾರಿಗಳ ಕಾರ್ಯಾಲಯ ದಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆದ ಕಾರ್ಯ ಕ್ರಮವನ್ನು ಜಿಲ್ಲಾ ಆರೋಗ್ಯ ಮತ್ತು ಕುಟುಂಬ ಕಲ್ಯಾಣ ಅಧಿಕಾರಿ ಡಾ. ನಾಗಭೂಷಣ್ ಉಡುಪ ಇವರು ಉದ್ಘಾಟಿಸಿದರು.

ಭಾರತೀಯ ರೆಡ್ ಕ್ರಾಸ್ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆ ಕುಂದಾಪುರ ಶಾಖೆಯು ಅತೀ ಹೆಚ್ಚು ಟಿ. ಬಿ. ರೋಗಿಗಳನ್ನು ದತ್ತು ಪಡೆದುದಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಸನ್ಮಾನಿಸಲಾಯಿತು. ರೆಡ್ ಕ್ರಾಸ್ ಕುಂದಾಪುರ ಘಟಕ ಇಪ್ಪತ್ತೈದು ಕ್ಷಯ ರೋಗಿಗಳನ್ನು ಆರು ತಿಂಗಳ ಕಾಲ ದತ್ತು ಪಡೆದಿದೆ. ಈ ಸನ್ಮಾನವನ್ನು ಸಭಾಪತಿ ಶ್ರೀ ಎಸ್ ಜಯಕರ ಶೆಟ್ಟಿ ಸ್ವೀಕರಿದರು. ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮ ದಲ್ಲಿ ಜಿಲ್ಲಾ ಆರೋಗ್ಯ ಅಧಿಕಾರಿಗಳಾದ ಡಾ. ರಾಮ, ಟಿ.ಬಿ. ನಿರ್ಮೂಲನ ಅಧಿಕಾರಿಗಳಾದ ಚಿದಾನಂದ ಸಂಜು ‌ನರ್ಸಿಂಗ್ ಕಾಲೇಜು ಪ್ರಾಂಶುಪಾಲರು ಉಪಸ್ಥಿತರಿದ್ದರು.

ಬೆಂಗಳೂರು: ರಾಜ್ಯ ವಿಧಾನಸಭಾ ಚುನಾವಣೆಗ ಸಂಬಂಧಿಸಿದಂತೆ ಕಾಂಗ್ರೆಸ್ ಮೊದಲ ಪಟ್ಟಿ ಬಿಡುಗಡೆಯಾಗಿದೆ. ಇದರಲ್ಲಿ 124 ಮಂದಿ ಅಭ್ಯರ್ಥಿಗಳ ಹೆಸರಿದ್ದು, ಮಾಜಿ ಮುಖ್ಯಮಂತ್ರಿ ಸಿದ್ದರಾಮಯ್ಯ ಅವರು ವರುಣಾ ಕ್ಷೇತ್ರದಿಂದ ಸ್ಪರ್ಧಿಸಲಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಹಾಗ ಕುಂದಾಪುರ ಕ್ಷೇತ್ರದಿಂದ ಎಮ್. ದಿನೇಶ್ ಹೆಗ್ಡೆ ಅವರಿಗೆ ಟಿಕೆಟ್ ನೀಡಲಾಗಿದೆ. ಬೈಂದೂರು  ಕೆ.ಗೋಪಾಲ ಪೂಜಾರಿಗೆ ಟಿಕೆಟ್ ನೀಡಲಾಗಿದೆ.

 ಕನಕಪುರ ಕ್ಷೇತ್ರದಿಂದ ಕೆಪಿಸಿಸಿ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷ ಡಿ.ಕೆ. ಶಿವಕುಮಾರ್, ವಿಧಾನಸಭೆ ಪ್ರತಿಪಕ್ಷ ಉಪ ನಾಯಕ ಯು.ಟಿ ಖಾದರ್ ಮಂಗಳೂರಿನಿಂದ, ಮೂಡುಬಿದಿರೆಯಿಂದ ಮಿಥುನ್ ರೈ, ಬೆಳ್ತಂಗಡಿಯಿಂದ ರಕ್ಷಿತ್ ಸುವರ್ಣ, ಸುಳ್ಯ ಮೀಸಲು ಕ್ಷೇತ್ರದಿಂದ ಕೃಷ್ಣಪ್ಪ ಜಿ. ಕಣಕ್ಕಿಳಿಯಲಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಇನ್ನೂ ಉಡುಪಿ ಜಿಲ್ಲೆಯ ಕಾಪುದಿಂದ ವಿನಯ ಕುಮಾರ್ ಸೊರಕೆ ಹೆಸರುಗಳನ್ನು ಅಂತಿಮಗೊಳಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ.
ಕಾರವಾರ ಅಂಕೋಲಾ ಕ್ಷೇತ್ರದಿಂದ ಸತೀಶ್ ಸೈಲ್, ಭಟ್ಕಳದಿಂದ ಮಂಕಾಳ ವೈದ್ಯ, ಹಳಿಯಾಳದಿಂದಾರ ಆರ್. ವಿ. ದೇಶಪಾಂಡೆ ಸ್ಪರ್ಧೆ ಮಾಡಲಿದ್ದಾರೆ.

ನಂಜನಗೂಡು ಕ್ಷೇತ್ರದಿಂದ ದ್ರವನಾರಾಯಣ ಪುತ್ರ ದರ್ಶನ್ ದ್ರವನಾರಾಯಣ ಹಾಗೂ ರಾಜಾಜಿನಗರ ಕ್ಷೇತ್ರದಿಂದ ಇತ್ತೀಚೆಗೆ ಬಿಜೆಪಿ ತೊರೆದು ಕಾಂಗ್ರೆಸ್ ಸೇರಿದ ಮಾಜಿ ಎಂ ಎಲ್ ಸಿ ಪುಟ್ಟಣ್ಣಗೆ ಟಿಕೆಟ್ ಘೋಷಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ.

ಶ್ರೀನಿವಾಸಪುರ : ನಾನು ಪಟ್ಟಣ ಅಭಿವೃದ್ಧಿಗಾಗಿ ಕೋಟ್ಯಾಂತರ ರೂಗಳನ್ನು ತರುತ್ತಿದ್ದೇನೆ ಆದರೆ ನೀವು ಧರಣಿ ನಡೆಸಿ ಕಾಲಹರಣ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದೀರಿ ಎಂದು ಪುರಸಭೆ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷೆ ಲಲಿತಾ ಶ್ರೀನಿವಾಸ್‌ರವರನ್ನು ಶಾಸಕ ಕೆ.ಆರ್ .ರಮೇಶ್‌ಕುಮಾರ್ ತರಾಟೆಗೆ ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಂಡರು. 

ಪಟ್ಟಣದ ಪುರಸಭೆಯ ಮುಂದೆ ಕಳೆದ ಮೂರು ದಿನಗಳಿಂದ ಲಲಿತಾ ಶ್ರೀನಿವಾಸ್ ನೇತೃತ್ವದಲ್ಲಿ ಆದಿ ಜಾಂಬವ ಚಾರಿಟಬಲ್ ಟ್ರಸ್ಟ್ , ಆದಿ ಜಾಂಬವ ಸೇವಾ ಸಮಿತಿ , ಪ್ರಗತಿ ಪರ ದಲಿತ ಪರ ಸಂಘಟನೆಗಳ ಒಕ್ಕೂಟ ಸಂಯುಕ್ತ ಆಶ್ರಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಪುರಸಭೆ ಮುಖ್ಯಾಧಿಕಾರಿ ಮತ್ತು ಅಧಿಕಾರಿಗಳ ನಿರ್ಲಕ್ಷತೆ ವಿರೋಧಿಸಿ ನಡೆಸುತ್ತಿರುವ ಧರಣಿ ನಿರಂತರೊಂದಿಗೆ ಮಾತನಾಡಿದರು 

ಪುರಸಭೆ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷೆ ಲಲಿತ ಶ್ರೀನಿವಾಸ್‌ರವರು ಶಾಸಕರೊಂದಿಗೆ ಮಾತನಾಡಿ ಪುರಸಭೆ ಮುಖ್ಯಾಧಿಕಾರಿ ಪಟ್ಟಣದಲ್ಲಿ ನೀರು, ಸ್ವಚ್ಚತೆ ಇತರೆ ಮೂಲಭೂತ ಸೌಲಭ್ಯಗಳ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಗಮನಹರಿಸುತ್ತಿಲ್ಲ , ಹಾಗೂ ನಮ್ಮ ಮನವಿಗೆ ಸ್ಪಂದಿಸುತ್ತಿಲ್ಲ ಎಂದು ಮುಖ್ಯಾಧಿಕಾರಿ ವಿರದ್ಧ ಆರೋಪ ಮಾಡಿದ ಹಿನ್ನೆಲೆಯಲ್ಲಿ . ಕಳೆದ ೨ ವರ್ಷಗಳಿಂದಲೂ ನಮ್ಮ ಮನವಿಯ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಸ್ಪಂದನೆ ನೀಡುತ್ತಿಲ್ಲ ಅಮಾನತ್ತು ಆಗಲಿ, ವರ್ಗಾವಣೆ ಆಗಲಿ ಮಾಡಿಸಿ ಎಂದು ಮಾಹಿತಿ ನೀಡಿದ ಹಿನ್ನೆಲೆಯಲ್ಲಿ, ಶಾಸಕರು ಮಾತನಾಡಿ ’ಮುಖ್ಯ ಅಧಿಕಾರಿ ಮಾಡಿರುವ ಕೃತ್ಯಗಳ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಸಾಕ್ಷಿ ಸಮೇತ ಪಟ್ಟಿ ಮಾಡಿ ಜಿಲ್ಲಾಧಿಕಾರಿಗಳು, ಉಪವಿಭಾಗಾಧಿಕಾರಿಗಳು  ಕಂಪ್ಲೆಟ್ ಕೊಡಿ,  ಆ ಕಂಪ್ಲೆಟ್‌ನ್ನು ಪರಿಶೀಲಿಸಿ , ಮುಖ್ಯ ಅಧಿಕಾರಿಗೆ ನೋಟಿಸ್ ಕೊಟ್ಟು ನಂತರ ಅವರ ವಿರುದ್ಧ ಕ್ರಮಕೈಗೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತಾರೆ . ಮುಖ್ಯ ಅಧಿಕಾರಿಗಳ ವಿರುದ್ಧ ತಕ್ಷಣ ಕ್ರಮಕೈಗೊಳ್ಳಲು ಸಾಧ್ಯವಿಲ್ಲ. ಪುರಸಭೆ ಮುಖ್ಯ ಅಧಿಕಾರಿಗಳ ಅಕ್ರಮಗಳ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ತನಿಖೆ ನಡೆಸಿ ನಂತರ ಕ್ರಮಕೈಗೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತಾರೆ’ ಎಂದು ತಿಳಿಸಿದರು

ನಾನು ಹತ್ತಾರುಬಾರಿ ನಿಮ್ಮ ಕಚೇರಿಗೆ ಬಂದಿದ್ದೆ ಒಂದು ದಿನವು ಮುಖ್ಯಧಿಕಾರಿ  ಬಗ್ಗೆ ನನಗೆ ಯಾಕೆ ಮಾಹಿತಿ ನೀಡಲಿಲ್ಲ ಎಂದು ಪ್ರಶ್ನಿಸಿ, ಶಾಸಕರು ಕೋಪದಿಂದ ಹೋರಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದರೆ ಕೆಲ ಮುಖಂಡರು ಸಮಾಧಾನಪಡಿಸಿ ಇದನ್ನು ಇತ್ಯರ್ಥ ಮಾಡುವಂತೆ ಮನವಿ ಮಾಡಿದರು. 

ಪುರಸಭೆ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷೆ ಲಲಿತಾ ಶ್ರೀನಿವಾಸ್ ಮಾತನಾಡಿ ನಾನು ಕಚೇರಿ ಒಳಗೆ ಕುಳಿತುಕೊಂಡರೂ ಏನೋ ಪ್ರಯೋಜನವಿಲ್ಲ. ಆದ್ದರಿಂದ ನಾನು ಕಚೇರಿ ಮುಂಭಾಗದಲ್ಲಿಯೇ ಕುಳಿತುಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತೇನೆ ಎಂದು ಉದ್ರೇಕ ದಿಂದ ನುಡಿದ ಪ್ರಶ್ನೆಗೆ ಹಾಗು ನಮ್ಮ ಬಡವಾಣೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ನೀರು, ಸ್ವಚ್ಚತೆ ಮಾರೀಚಿಕೆಯಾಗಿದೆ ಎಂಬ ಪ್ರಶ್ನೆಗೆ ನಾನು ಬಂದು ಸ್ವಚ್ಚತೆ, ನೀರು ಸರಬಾರಜು ಮಾಡಲೇ ಎಂದು ಪ್ರಶ್ನಿಸಿದರು. 

ನಾನು ಮುಖ್ಯಾಧಿಕಾರಿಗಳನ್ನು ಇಲ್ಲಿಗೆ ಹಾಕಸಿಕೊಂಡು ಬಂದವನಲ್ಲ, ನನಗೂ ಅವರಿಗೂ ಯಾವುದೇ ಸಂಬಧವಿಲ್ಲ. ಅಧಿಕಾರಿಯ ವಿರುದ್ಧ ತಕ್ಷಣ ಕ್ರಮಕೈಗೊಳ್ಳಲು ಸಾಧ್ಯವಿಲ್ಲ. ಅವರ ಮಾಡಿರುವ ಅಕ್ರಮಗಳ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ತನಿಖೆ ನಂತರ ಕ್ರಮಕೈಗೊಳ್ಳಲು ಸಾಧ್ಯ ಎಂದರು. ನೆರಿದಿದ್ದ ಕೆಲವರನ್ನ ತರಾಟೆಗೆ ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಂಡ ಪ್ರಸಂಗವು ನಡೆಯಿತು. ನಮ್ಮ ಸರ್ಕಾರವಿದ್ದರೆ ಸರ್ಕಾರಕ್ಕೆ ಅಧಿಕಾರಿಯ ವಿರುದ್ಧ ಕ್ರಮಕೈಗೊಳ್ಳಲು ಮನವಿ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದೆ ಎಂದರು.

ಅದ್ಯಕ್ಷೆ ಲಲಿತಾ ಶ್ರೀನಿವಾಸ್‌ರವರನ್ನ ಧರಣಿ ಹಿಂಪಡೆಯುವಂತೆ ಮನವೂಲಿಸಿ ಉಪವಿಭಾಗಾಧಿಕಾರಿ ವೆಂಕಟಲಕ್ಷಿಯವರಿಗೆ ಮನವಿ ಪತ್ರವನ್ನು ನೀಡುವಂತೆ ಶಾಸಕರು ಸೂಚನೆ ನೀಡಿದರು. 

ತಹಶೀಲ್ದಾರ್ ಶರೀನ್‌ತಾಜ್, ಪಿಎಲ್‌ಡಿ ಬ್ಯಾಂಕ್ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷ ದಿಂಬಾಲ್ ಅಶೋಕ್, ಮುಖಂಡರಾದ ಸಂಜಯ್‌ರೆಡ್ಡಿ, ನಾರಾಯಣಸ್ವಾಮಿ,  ಪೊಲೀಸ್ ನಿರೀಕ್ಷಕ ಜೆ.ಸಿ.ನಾರಾಯಣಸ್ವಾಮಿ ಹಾಗು ಪುರಸಭೆ ಸದಸ್ಯರಾದ ಅನೀಸ್ ಅಹಮ್ಮದ್, ಸರ್ಧಾರ್, ಎನ್‌ಎನ್‌ಆರ್, ನಾಗರಾಜ್, ಯುವ ಕಾಂಗ್ರೆಸ್ ತಾಲೂಕು ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷ ಮಂಜುನಾಥರೆಡ್ಡಿ, ಆರ್‌ಐ ಮುನಿರೆಡ್ಡಿ ಇದ್ದರು.  

MANGALURU, MARCH, 23: The members of the newly constituted Pastoral Council were trained at the diocesan level to be the trainers of Pastoral Council at the deanery and parish level on March 22, 2023 in Shanthi Kiran Pastoral Centre, Bajjodi, Mangalore.

The Diocesan Curia, Most Rev. Dr Peter Paul Saldanha, Bishop of Mangalore, Very Rev. Fr Maxim L. Noronha, the Vicar General, Very Rev. Dr Victor George, the Chancellor along with Rev. Dr Joseph Martis, parish priest of Derebail, Rev. Fr Naveen Pinto, Administrator, St Joseph Seminary, Jeppu and Rev. Fr Santhosh Rodrigues organised the Training of Trainers for Pastoral Council.

The five Pastoral Council members from every deanery which included dean of the deanery, two priests and two lay faithful took part in the training session.

In the first session, Bishop Peter Paul Saldanha dwelt upon “What is Church”. He briefly explained the nature of the Church, and its role in building God’s Kingdom on earth.  The Bishop said, “The mission of Jesus Christ is the mission of all chosen in the Church.”

Rev. Fr Naveen Pinto briefly explained “The Hierarchical Structure of the Church”. He said, “The mission of the Lord is carried out in the Church through a hierarchical structure.” He said that the structure in the Church exists to serve and not to govern or rule. Hence, it is a district from democracy.

Rev. Dr Joseph Martis spoke on “Parish and the mission.” He gave a scriptural perspective on the pastor and pastoral ministry. He guided the pastoral council members on how to support the church, collaborate with the parish priest in building a synodal church and show care and concern to all with an attitude of service after the great model of Jesus, the good shepherd.

Along with speakers, Rev. Dr Victor George Dsouza shared his expert knowledge on the subjects discussed and clarified the doubts raised by the pastoral council trainers.

The prayer was led by the priests of Kasargod Deanery. Rev. Fr Santhosh Rodrigues and Rev. Fr Joseph Martis co-ordinated the programme.

Women’s Day was celebrated on March 19, 2023 at the Senate Hall of the Milagres Hall Complex with the theme, ‘Women be inspired, be an Inspiration’.  This event was planned under the leadership of the Parish Priest along with a team of 12 women parishioners.  The session started with a prayer service followed by an innovative inauguration.

     Dr. Audrey Pinto, the co-ordinator of the Dept. of Psychology, Alva’s college, Moodbidri was the guest speaker.  Dr. Audrey Pinto encouraged the audience to think out of the box, with various hands on activities.  She spoke about following your heart, breaking boundaries and making a difference in society.  The guests were welcomed by sprinkling of rose water.  There were interesting spot games, jokes, songs and dances.  There was a gathering of 220 ladies.  Everyone was involved and had an enjoyable evening together.

St Joseph’s feast was celebrated on March 19th on the occasion of St Joseph’s feast, the patron of the universal Church, the Diocese of Mangalore and the Jeppu church. 

Rev Fr Praveen Leo Lasrado, the Rector of minor Seminary, Gladsome Home, presided over the Eucharistic Celebration. In His Homily, he presented the Seven Virtues of St Joseph from the Apostolic Letter, Patriscorde“With a Father’s Heart”, written by Pope Francis which describes St Joseph as a beloved father, a tender and loving father, an obedient father, an accepting father; a father who is creatively courageous, a working father, a father in the shadows.

A Special prayers were offered for all the fathers, who dedicate their lives like St Joseph to protect the families

Rev Fr Ronald Serrao, the rector of St Joseph’s Seminary was present for the celebration. The well-wishers and benefactors were honoured by the parish priest Fr Maxim D’Souza. A large number of devotees participated in the festal celebration.  All were served sacks and a fresh lime juice prepared by Mr Olwin Miranda, the Vice President of Jeppu Parish.

ಮೂಡ್ಲಕಟ್ಟೆ ನಾಗರತ್ನ ಭುಜಂಗ ಶೆಟ್ಟಿ ಟ್ರಸ್ಟ್ (ಎಂ ಎನ್ ಬಿ ಎಸ್ ಟ್ರಸ್ಟ್) ನಡೆಸುತ್ತಿರುವ ವಿದ್ಯಾ ಅಕಾಡೆಮಿಯು ಮಾರ್ಚ್ 26 ರ ರವಿವಾರ ಸಂಜೆ 4 ಗಂಟೆಗೆ ಚಿಕ್ಕ ಮಕ್ಕಳಿಗಾಗಿ ಕುಂದಾಪುರದಲ್ಲೆ ಮೊದಲ ಬಾರಿಗೆ  ಕಿಡ್ಸ್ ಕಾರ್ನಿವಲ್ ಅನ್ನು ಆಯೋಜಿಸಿದೆ. ಈ ಕಾರ್ನಿವಲ್ ಮುಖಾಂತರ ಚಿಕ್ಕ ಮಕ್ಕಳಲ್ಲಿ ಕಲಿಕೆಯ ಆಸಕ್ತಿ ಹೆಚ್ಚಿಸಿ, ವಿವಿದ ಸ್ಥಳಗಳ ಮತ್ತು ವಿವಿದ ಶಾಲೆಗಳ ಮಕ್ಕಳೊಂದಿಗೆ  ಬೆರೆತು, ಹಲವು ಮನೋರಂಜನೆ ಮತ್ತು ಆಟೋಟ  ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಭಾಗವಹಿಸಿ ಸಂತೋಷ ಪಡಲು ಅವಕಾಶ ಮಾಡಿ   ಕೊಡಲಾಗಿದೆ. ಈ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದಲ್ಲಿ ಮಕ್ಕಳ ಜೊತೆಗೆ, ಅವರ ಪೋಷಕರಿಗೂ ಮನೋರಂಜನಾ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮಗಳನ್ನು ಆಯೋಜಿಸಿದ್ದು ಮಕ್ಕಳಲ್ಲಿ ಅತೀವಸಂತೋಷದ ವಾತಾವರಣ ಉಂಟುಮಾಡಲು ಪ್ರಯತ್ನಿಸಲಾಗುವುದು.   ಹಲವು ಆಟೋಟಗಳ ಜೊತೆಗೆ
